Well, it's time to wrap up Volume 4 with a more action-packed ending than the canon. Trust me when I say, you'll like what I have planned for this chapter. Plus, it's a good time to show you all the secret that Jaune has kept from his friends.

Another thing, sleeping on a couch is a little uncomfortable, especially when it's not wide enough for those who toss and turn in their sleep. I'm saying this because I had to let my aunt sleep in my bed for a few nights after she had some surgery, so it was worth it.

54godamora: The TX-130 fighter tank they found in Chapter 56. That will come in handy against what is to follow that ugly Grimm.

Darth Cody: Indeed, the battle has begun.

Luffy L Deathwalker: I've actually seen many t-rated stories where the f-bomb is dropped more times than I can count. Sure, Wrecker could have finished that sentence and Disney has done a fifty-fifty job with Star Wars. I will admit they did do a good job with finishing the Clone Wars, Rebels, the Bad Batch and The Mandalorian, but some of their other choices could have been done better or not done at all, especially when it comes to the established canon that was put in place before they took over the series, especially with the Force Unleashed and many events, characters and such in the Legends universe. Yep, a fight is indeed about to begin and what will fate hold in store for Sienna? You'll have to wait and see.

Chaotic Skunk Demon: Yeah, Wrecker did say the same thing that everyone, including me was thinking. I do agree that Nuckelavee is a Grimm that would even make me piss myself, if I hadn't seen the Xenomorph Queen before this ugly mother. Klein is the Schnee Butler, but he does share the name with the same guy from SAO, who might I add is one funny guy. I'm pretty sure Qui-Gon would say the same thing about Jacque that he said about Gunray.

Mr. Shades42: You never know.

Jack Smith1: Yeah, I hate Adam Taurus as much as the next guy. He's a complete idiot! Fighting for equal rights is one thing but believing that all humans are the enemy even those who are fighting for their rights is foolish. Starting a war with humanity will only result in more bloodshed, for both humans and Faunus, not to mention that it will bring the Grimm in closer to the Kingdoms. He's a threat, a threat that needs to be killed by Golgo 13 before he can cause more damage to the planet.

Ghost: I haven't really figured out about the whole Emerald switching sides or who will go with Mercury to Vacuo when their business in Atlas is finished.

SilverFox3456: Weiss is not force sensitive, sorry to disappoint you. The Lightsaber Whitley gave her was for extra protection. Now as to why her father had such a weapon, that's a mystery. But you'll find out as the story continues.

Chapter 58: No Safe Haven

Thunder and gunfire echoed around the degraded and empty town of Kuroyuri. A billowing cloud of dust and pieces of wood rose around the top of a tree as the mighty and dangerous Nuckelavee came into view, twitching its various body parts before it roared, sending out a shockwave that caused the large group to flinch. The Grimm looked at the sixteen humans before it charged towards them.

Everyone scattered before the Grimm could turn them into pancakes, smashing through the cherry tree behind them. "What the hell is this thing?" Boba asked aloud.

"It's a Nuckelavee! A Grimm that's been wandering around Anima for years and responsible for destroying multiple villages!" Qrow replied, firing a few shots from his own Scythes shotgun mode, but the shots bounced off the Grimm's body.

"Why hasn't someone killed this thing already?" Rex questioned, rolling out of the way of the Grimm's claws. "If it's a threat, it should have been a high-value target!" he added, firing his rifle at the Grimm.

"Everyone who went after it was killed! Not even the MSDF forces that encountered the damn thing could kill it!" Qrow answered.

"I hope there's only one of these things!" Cody remarked.

Nora was quick to fire off some grenades at the massive Grimm, but her shots were shrugged off before it launched its arms and pinned both her and Ruby to the ground. Ren fired his own weapons at the Grimm as he ran, distracting it and allowing Ruby and Nora to get back to their feet.

"Guys, keep moving, go in a circle!" Jaune shouted. The others followed his plan and ran around the Grimm, firing their weapons ranged modes at the Grimm while Jaune landed a strike on the Grimm's leg. Ruby was surprised when after a successful hit, Jaune sheathed his sword and drew his lightsaber. Running towards the Grimm with his upgraded sword in it's shield mode and his lightsaber in both hands, Jaune slashed at the Grimm's back leg.

Gunfire from a nearby building forced the Nuckelavee to turn in the direction where the shots came from. Roaring loudly, the Nuckelavee charged towards the group of clones and shot its arms outward, only for Galen and Qrow to leap from a top another building and slash at the humanoid part.

The massive creature roared in pain before it swung its arms wildly and knocked everyone to ground and then roared once again as the bone like parts of its body extended, indicating that all the group had done was annoy it. Ren was quick to run up the semi-destroyed tree and opened fire on the Grimm, only to find himself pinned to a nearby building just seconds later.

Nora saw this and called for Ruby, who used Crescent Rose to launch Nora in between a struggling Ren and the monster's would-be fatal strike. Her hammer was pinned to the building above Ren while the hammer wielder herself was dangling from it, giving Ren a rather unwanted view of Nora's skirt, but Nora did grin a bit.

The creature on the other hand didn't find this amusing and flung Nora around until she was knocked to the ground with her aura depleted. Luckily for her, Galen used his semblance and transferred some of his aura to her. However, Ren after getting himself free from the creature started to attack the Grimm in a reckless behavior and his eyes wild like a rabid animal. "Ren! Knock it off!" Jaune shouted.

Ren didn't listen and continued to charge in like an animal, only to be knocked aside by creature once again landing right by Nora, but his aura was also depleted, and Galen used his semblance once again. "Ren! Get your head together and stop acting like an idiot! If you're that eager to die, then don't drag us down with you!" Galen chastised, rolling out of the way to avoid getting slammed by one of the creatures' hands.

Again, Ren didn't listen and as he and Nora got back to his feet, Nora tackled him and dragged him under the building where the clones and Boba were firing from the window. Outside, the Nuckelavee continued to advance, but Jaune blocked its attack with his shield. "Damn that thing's a lot tougher than it looks!" Rex cursed.

"Any ideas on how to take it down?" Hunter questioned. Before anyone could respond, they all heard a slap and turned to see that Ren was slapped by Nora who was trying to stop Ren from going back out into the fight.

"No. I won't let you kill yourself like this. After everything we've been through, I won't let it end. Not like this." She said with determination. Looking at Nora, Ren was reminded of the scared little girl he met all those years ago and noticed the tears in her eyes. Ren finally sighed and pulled the knife his father gave him before he died from his boot and held it in both hands. "We can do this."

A fierce and determined expression on Nora's face finally brought Ren back to his old self before the two of them stepped outside the building and Nora picked up her hammer as they were joined by Qrow, Galen, Ruby and Jaune. "Ren. Jaune, Galen and I can take care of its arms." Ruby offered.

"Qrow and I can take care of the horse. The rest is yours Ren." Nora added before she and Qrow headed for the rooftop. Ruby and Galen used themselves as targets until they managed to pin one of the arms with the tip of her Scythe and the force. Ren's knife was then flung into the body of the Grimm while Jaune used his shield to pin the other arm before striking his lightsaber into the arm.

"NORA! QROW!" Ren shouted to Nora and Qrow who leapt off the building into a freefall, bashing in the horse head and slicing it off completely. Ren was able to retrieve his knife and walked towards the trapped Grimm.

"For my mother. For my father. For all those that you've slain." Ren said in his thoughts, slashing off the arms and striking its torso before he finally killed the Grimm. "For myself." He said aloud, beheading the Grimm which died in a pillar of black smoke. Dropping the knife, he breathed a sigh of relief before he was tackled by a giggling Nora.

"Feel any better now?" Galen asked as he lightly punched Ren in the arm.

"Yeah, I'm good." Ren replied.

"Don't ever do anything like that again." He advised, just as Jaune spotted several incoming Mistral Airships.

"Airships! We're going to be alright." Jaune sighed with relief.

Galen was also relieved, but then he sensed something. "Tell them to back off." Galen said to Jaune, who looked puzzled as Galen dashed towards the incoming airships. "STOP! IT'S NOT SAFE! TURN BACK! TURN BACK!" he shouted, waving his arms franticly trying to get the attention of the pilots.

The airship pilots didn't see or hear him, but by then it was too late as a volley of concussion missiles slammed into the airships, resulting two burning wrecks of metal crashed into the ground. "No!" Ruby gasped in horror. The contrails of the missiles were still visible and the source of the missiles. Approaching them was a massive floating weapons platform that the Remnant natives assumed to be of Atlas origin.

"Looks like Ironwood needs to do an inventory of his toys. Looks like some of them are missing." Qrow mused.

"Those aren't Atlas weapons! Those are Protodeka's!" Rex exclaimed as directly underneath the massive weapons platform were dozens of Multi-Troop Transports. The forward hatches of the MTT's opened up as the racks holding the droids slowly made their way out of the massive vehicles and began to deploy their complement of Battle Droids, both the standard B1 and the B2 Super Battle Droids. Much to their surprise, some of the transports offloaded creatures of Grimm, ranging from Beringel's, Boarbatusk's, Beowolf's and Ursa's.

"What the heck are the Grimm doing loaded up in those space trains!?" Nora exclaimed as the droids on the racks unfolded and turned towards the group of armed humans. She soon got her answer as one of the Grimm, an Ursa sniffed the air before it caught their scent, raised their head, roared loudly and then charged towards the group with the droids following them.

"We just can't seem to catch a break, can we?" Jaune groaned as the horde of droids and Grimm charged towards them. Then again, he already knew the answer and had a feeling that Salem or Cinder was behind this unexpected appearance.

One of the Super Battle Droids, a B2-HA aimed its rocket launcher at a distracted Ruby who was still in shock over the destruction of the two airships. Galen noticed this and quickly tackled Ruby out of the way, taking the full explosion that sent him flying into a building with a hard slam that knocked him out and caused a bit of blood to trickle from his head.

The sight of Galen in this state reminded Ruby about when Vader nearly killed him back at Beacon. Seeing him like this made the anger she had bottled up inside her, anger towards Cinder, the Empire and Vader rise until the point where she could no longer control her emotions. With a roar of anger, she gave into the dark side and charged towards the enemy horde, ignoring the warnings and pleas of her companions as her silver eyes turned yellow. "She's going to get himself killed!" Qrow exclaimed, slashing a Beowolf in half with his scythe.

"Then let's back her up! Weapons free!" Cody shouted and opened up with his assault rifle, followed by Rex, Fordo and Alpha while the Bad Batch opened up with their blasters as did Boba. A barrage of bullets from the four bullpup rifles shredded a horde of Grimm as if they were made of tissue paper.

Boba rocketed into the air with his jetpack and began to rain down blaster fire on the droids which turned their attention to their aerial adversary, but Boba zigged and zagged between the volleys, using his carbine and wrist-mounted flamethrowers. Fire burned the Grimm while blaster bolts deactivated droid after droid. "Now I see why the Jedi and clones had problems with these Clankers during the war. They just don't give up." He stated.

"The Separatists had the Trade Federation, Banking Clan, Commerce Guild and Techno Union backing them, that's how they were able to build so many of these machines!" Fordo replied, slamming a fresh magazine into his rifle before he continued to fire. As he fired, he watched as Ruby continued to hack her way through the Grimm and droids in her anger induced rage. "Damn it! Ruby, stop this now!" he shouted, but Ruby didn't listen. "I've never seen her act like this before. I don't like it."

The ARC Captain then ran towards Galen and pulled him behind the wrecked building out of harms way. "Come on Galen, wake up! Ruby's going crazy and you're the only one who can snap her out of it! This no time to be taking a nap!" he growled even slapping Galen across the face to try and wake him up. Nothing he did work, but he noticed that the Protedeka was still operational and if they ignored the weapon platform, it would have a straight shot towards Mistral. "That tank was still operational. Rex and Cody were able to get it running again. I might not be much of a tank jockey, but that Protedeka needs to be reduced to scrap metal before it gets away." Fordo said to himself before he propped Galen up against the wall and dashed towards the tank.

(Monster starts)

Anger following through her body, Ruby disconnected her lightsaber into its two separate hilts and unleashed her fury upon the Grimm and droids. Her twin green blades slashed through metal and bisected Grimm in a fury of rose petals. "Shoot her!" One of the droids shouted, only to be destroyed by Ruby's blades.

"I'll kill all of you!" she shouted in fury, completely unlike her usual self and even from a distance, it made Jaune and the others far more concerned about her wellbeing. Dashing through the air in a flurry of rose petals, she hurled herself through the horde of enemies, taking down many of them in a single go. Her eyes narrowed at one of the MTT's and with an extension of her hand, threw the massive war machine into another one, creating a massive explosion. "DIE!" she roared and continued to cut her way through the massive horde of enemies. The more she gave into her anger, the more nearby Grimm were drawn to the old village.

"Dang, look at Ruby go. I've never seen anything like this from her before. It's kind of scary." Nora admitted nervously as she slammed her hammer into a few Grimm.

"Seeing Galen in that state must have triggered all the anger she had stored up after what happened at Beacon. She's unleashed her full anger and it's bringing in more Grimm than we already have to contend with." Ren stated, shooting and slashing apart the Grimm and droids.

"It's because of Galen, she saw her get hurt and it must have triggered some kind of repressed memory or nightmare about what Vader did to him. She's out of control, we've got to stop her!" Rex shouted, lobbing a thermal detonator towards the incoming horde. Just as he threw it an Ursa pounced on him and tried to stab him with its massive claws. Rex rolled this way and that, trying to avoid being skewered when at last it seemed like the Grimm was about to kill him.

(End song)

Thankfully, fate intervened when much to his surprise, the Grimm was sent flying back by what Rex could only describe as the Force. The source that sent the Grimm flying was Jaune himself. "What the?" he questioned as Jaune lowered his hand and sheathed his sword.

"No point in hiding it now." Jaune sighed and gripped his lightsaber with his hands. The droids took notice of this and opened fire at Jaune. Closing his eyes and focusing, Jaune blocked shot after shot with his lightsaber, destroying multiple droids with their own weapons fire. Opening his eyes, Jaune reached out and pulled a Beowolf towards him and ran his blue blade through the Grimm's chest, killing it before he slashed the head off another one. "I get you've all got plenty of questions, but right now we need to focus on the Grimm, droids and whatever that thing is!" he shouted and pointed towards their enemies.

The Protodeka on the other hand, continued onward through the ruined town and on towards Mistral. It didn't get very far before a volley of blue lasers slammed into its armor. The droid turned to the source of the lasers and focused its sensors onto the TX-130 fighter tank, piloted by none other than Fordo. "Have a taste of this you overgrown metal head!" the ARC-Captain snarled and pushed the controls of his tank forward.

(Tank Rush, starts)

The Protedeka opened up on Fordo with its heavy turbo lasers as the ARC Captain maneuvered behind a wrecked building which shielded him from the blast. The massive weapons platform slowly made its way towards Fordo's position only to find that Fordo had managed to get in the droid's blind spot, directly behind it.

"Have some missiles on me!" he shouted and fired a salvo of missiles at the droid. The missiles slammed into the hull of the weapons platform damaging the droid as it turned towards Fordo. Putting the tank into reverse, the captain opened up with the tanks laser cannons which he used as an improvised CIWS system shooting down several incoming concussion missiles the droid fired at him. "Not much good a single tank can do against this thing, but at least I can keep it from going any further towards the city. Kind of wish I had some back up though."

As if fate answered his prayers, several rounds slammed into the massive war machine. Turning to the source, Fordo watched as several dozen MSDF Rhino and Timber Wolf tanks arrived on scene, followed by multiple armored fighting vehicles, APC's and armored cars that belonged to the same unit that assisted Galen and the others in the town before Oniyuri. "Where did they come from!?" Fordo wondered aloud.

A voice over the tanks commlink crackled as he got his answer. "We got the alert that the two airships sent to investigate the smoke from the village never reported in. You're lucky we arrived when we did, we've been tracking that massive weapons platform for months now, but the Mistral Council wouldn't authorize a mission to take the damn thing down!" one of the MSDF tank commanders replied with enthusiasm as a barrage of hard-hitting tank shells slammed into the Protedeka.

"Any help is better than none. Get some of your men behind the enemy and hit those troop transports hard! Take caution, those things have some heavy hitting cannons!" Fordo advised the Mistral tank crews, some of whom maneuvered their tanks into firing position, getting on the flanks of the MTT's before blowing them to high heaven.

As for the Protodeka, it continued to take a pounding from the combined firepower of every single tank. Its massive seismic emitter was far to damaged to be used and it was completely out of concussion missiles, leaving it with only its laser cannons left.

A final barrage of cannon fire sent the massive weapons platform crashing into the forest directly behind the destroyed village. "That's showing them!" the tank Sergeant shouted with excitement before turning their attention to the Grimm. Fordo continued to assist the tank jockeys with his remaining missiles, turning several incoming Death Stalkers into bits of flesh and bone that dissipated after several minutes. Fordo was able to kill several more Grimm with his tank's cannons before the massive stinger of another Death Stalker slammed into the front of his tank, critically damaging it and forcing the ARC-Captain to abandon the tank.

As Fordo ran towards his brothers and the MSDF troopers, he saw that Galen had started to come around and quickly ran over to his side. "Welcome back to the land of the living, Kid. We've got a problem." He told the young Jedi.

"What kind of problem?" Galen asked. Fordo was quick to point in Ruby's direction. "RUBY!" he shouted, but Ruby didn't hear her. "What's happening to her?"

"Right when you got knocked out, Ruby went out of control and started attacking the enemy recklessly. The Protodeka is down, and we've got reinforcements, but the Grimm keep coming our way. Ruby's anger is still drawing them to us. She's out of control!" Fordo exclaimed.

"I've got to stop her!" Galen shouted and dashed in Ruby's direction. "RUBY!"

(Animal I have become starts)

All of her thoughts and focus were filled with the desire to kill as Ruby slashed through another group of Grimm with her green blades. Galen's shouted was completely ignored by her as she continued to hack her way through the Grimm.

Four Ursa's were bisected while a Beowolf lost its head and arms. Glaring at the Grimm, Ruby combined her two sabers to form her double-bladed lightsaber and dashed towards her enemies in a storm of rose petals, killing a dozen more Grimm.

"Die! Die! Die!" she roared in a feral rage as the Grimm kept on coming. She threw her saber towards more Grimm killing a dozen or so more of them as her rage continued to grow and feed the Grimm. An Alpha Beowolf managed to get the drop on her and smacked her across the back, sending her flying towards Wrecker who tried to stop her. "They have to pay!" she snarled, called her lightsaber back and resumed her onslaught against Salem's creatures.

If the Grimm had emotions, they would have been afraid at the sheer power being displayed by this single human, a human with far more power than anything they had ever killed before. Ruby's green blade continued to hack through the Grimm as more and more Grimm continued to arrive.

Though she didn't want it, she had some help from the clones and MSDF soldiers. Picking off the Grimm with their rifles and machine guns, the number of Grimm she had to contend with continued to dwindle down, but more of them continued to arrive and take their place. "More lambs to the slaughter! I'll kill all of you and then Salem herself!" she snarled, spitting out a bit of blood from her mouth.

Charging towards the Grimm, Ruby drew her massive scythe and began to dual-wield both her lightsaber and pride and joy. Blood splattered from the bisected Grimm as the body parts dissipated into black mist. "I'll take you all on!"

(End song)

"RUBY! STOP THIS RIGHT NOW!" Galen shouted, leaping over her and landing right in the middle of the largest horde of Grimm he had ever faced. Calling on the force, unleashed a powerful telekinetic explosion that disintegrated every single Grimm.

"G-Galen." Ruby stuttered as her eyes slowly turned back to their normal silver color while the rest of the Grimm were picked off by the MSDF. "You're alive!" she shouted and dashed towards him, pulling him into a tight hug. "I thought you died."

"No, but you gave into the dark side." Galen said plainly. Ruby stepped back from him in confusion and looked at the destroyed droids.

"I did? No, I didn't mean too. I didn't… I mean you were… I was… I… What have I done?" she stuttered, trying to get the correct words out of her mouth until she finally broke down in tears and collapsed into Galen's arms, exhausted from all the fighting.

A MSDF airship touched down in the remains of the settlement as medics rushed towards Ruby's side, confirming that she had just overworked herself in battle and reassuring Galen. The students, Qrow, Boba and Clones soon boarded the airship which promptly took off and left the dead village behind as more MSDF vehicles and airships arrived to secure the old town.

As their airship flew over the land, the sun began to break through the clouds as the flourishing city of Mistral came into view. "We made it kid, we all made it." Fordo said to Ruby whose head was resting in Galen's lap.

A few days later, after she was discharged from the MSDF base hospital, Ruby walked into the hotel room that she and her uncle were sharing. While her Uncle slept on one of the beds, she placed a collapsed Crescent Rose on the empty bed before she walked over and sat at the desk and began to write a letter to her sister and dad, describing the events that had happened on her journey. As she wrote, she had no idea that the rest of her teammates, friends and their clone allies were all going through their own journeys and would be making their way to the same location.

However, no one, not even their enemies knew that several others were also arriving. A women with black hair and blue eyes, wearing a black robe, white tunic, long blue skirt, black leggings with a single blue stripe and silver heels stepped off the train that arrived at the mistral station. Following them was a boy in farmhand clothing and a girl with brown hair in a single pony-tail facing one side of her head wearing a hooded pink jacket, red sash around her waist, black boots and black shorts. All three of them gathered their belongings and headed towards the city of Mistral.

And chapter is finished.

First of all, this was Ruby's first brush with the Dark Side, so don't expect that kind of thing to happen again.

Second, Jaune is force sensitive. Bet you all didn't see that coming. Details on that will come at a later date.

Now I am sure all of you are wondering how the presence of Galen, Boba and the clones will affect the canon of Volume 5, but that will have to wait. I am going to be doing a couple of filler chapters involving Trigger, Neo, the Galm Team and Sienna. The latter of whom will have a big surprise for all of you.

For those of you who have watched Star Wars Visions, I wonder if you all have figured out who these characters are? If not, you'll have to wait and see who they are. Trust me, you'll all be in for a surprise.
