Looting in LA, targeted attacks on dogs owned by police officers, eighty people dead in the wake of a deadly tornado in Kentucky, where workers at a factory were threatened of losing their jobs if they evacuated the warehouse. Man, I feel like things are getting worse and worse every day when I hear about things like this.

And let's not forget all the recent shootings. Seriously, what is wrong with people? Why do most people feel the urge to just pick up a gun, any gun and go and shoot up a school or public event. I mean, I never thought that school shootings have upset me more than Sandy Hook back in 2012, but now I hear they happen almost every day and it's bothering me to no end.

Anyway, we now begin Volume 5 of my story. Let me assure you that there will be plenty of changes to the canon of RWBY then there have been so far. I can assure you all that you'll like what I have planned for this volume.

Before I begin, let me clear something up. Ray's flute is the same flute that Zen-Aku played from Power Ranger's Wildforce and the song he played is the one he played after he helped Alyssa when Toxica injured her.

Alright, onto the reviews for my last chapter.

Silverfox3456: Thanks man, I told you I'd bring in Thorn, somehow. As for Cinder, she will indeed pay for what she has done, but whether it's Galen, Trigger or Ruby that cuts her down, that's still up in the air at the moment.

Mr. Shades 42: Trigger, Neo and Pyrrha? Well, that won't be for a while. Say when the Empire shows their full might against Remnant and guess who plays a part in that moment? That or I'll have Trigger return with that project he's working on.

Monster King: Thank you.

Spartan-626: Thanks. But like I mentioned in the chapter, Pyrrha had training from Captain Bartlett, so she wasn't perfect right off the bat. She still has a lot more to learn.

Luffy L Deathwalker: Yep: That's all going to be happening in the next few chapters.

Chaotic Skunk Demon: You are correct in both regards. Ray's flute is the one Zen-Aku had, and the plasma cannons added to his S35 are basically the Null-Laser cannons Starscream had in Transformers Armada. I grew up those networks as well, it's a shame that many of them are no longer broadcasting or have been moved to later hours or in the case of Toonami, moved to Adult Swim which seems ridiculous in my opinion.

Alright, onto the story. No songs this chapter.

Disclaimers are the same as always, please enjoy.

Chapter 62: Welcome to Haven

After many months of backpacking through Anima, Ruby and her friends had finally reached Mistral. The group was now being led by Qrow through a stone brick tunnel illuminated by translucent lanterns along the tunnel. "Whose idea was it to walk again?" Nora groaned.

"Well, we did face many obstacles. Broken airships destroyed settlements…" Ren began.

"And let's not forget about all those people and monsters that tried to murder us." Jaune remined.

"Pfft, we were fine. Besides, that serial killer is dead, and we made it here in one piece." Ruby scoffed. "Plus, we did join up with an awesome bounty hunter and veteran soldiers." She added.

"I do have to agree with Miss Valkyrie here, how come we aren't we going directly to the Academy?" Boba asked.

"Don't worry, we are going to the Academy. Just figured I'd show you all of you the scenic route." Qrow answered before he pushed open a large set of wooden double doors, flooding the tunnel with sunlight. Ruby was the first to run out onto a massive platform that doubled as an elevator, stopping at the railing to gaze out over the city in wide eyed awe.

"Wow!" she said with a gasp as the others joined her to take in the view of the buildings and stone stairways perched on the mountain. "This… is… awesome!" she exclaimed. Below them, large crowds of people went about their day – walking around, talking and buying various items.

"It's certainly something." Galen agreed, noticing the sign by the elevator indicating a festival was a few weeks away.

"Oh my gosh, look at all the weapons!" Ruby squealed in excitement, noticing the weapon kiosk below them.

"Yeah, vendor here'll sell you just about anything… whether they should or not." Qrow said to his niece.

"You mean they sell things illegally?" Cody inquired.

"Despite the beauty of this sight, local criminals that deal in weapons, drugs and people. Normally, the cops would be all over their asses, but a couple of years back one of their supports managed to work their way onto the Mistral council and has been pulling strings for them, allowing them to get away with every crime in the book. The lower you get, the more dangerous it gets, but the higher up you go, the nicer it gets." Qrow explained to the clone commander.

"Either way, they made the most of these mountains." Jaune admitted.

"Yep, and it also serves as a good hiding place for the Mistral Self-Defense Forces to keep their equipment secured from the various gangs." Qrow added.

"And we are going up!" Nora exclaimed, pointing upwards towards the higher levels.

Several miles away, over an enormous lake, an Atlesian cargo ship flew in the direction of Mistral. It's passengers, the former Heiress of the SDC, two ARC Troopers and a knight sat in the cargo bay silently before Weiss spoke up. "So, how much further?" she asked.

"We're in the home stretch now. No more stops from here to Mistral. Sorry for the long trip. Keeping us off the radar's been harder than I thought. Lots of air traffic around northern Anima." The pilot answered.

"I wonder if that means old chrome dome is doing something stupid, like he did when he brought his army to Vale and went behind Ozpin's back?" Hardcase suggested, checking his carbine.

"Ironwood doesn't always have the best intentions of the people. He may be on the council, but like many of the council members, they only care about the problems in Atlas and don't even bother to help Mantle one damn bit. Those people have to rely on themselves to survive and it often results in the military being called in to quell the riots." Arthur snarled. "I've seen some of those riots, riots caused by a certain head of a company who doesn't care about anything but his pockets."

Weiss held her head down in shame. She knew exactly what Arthur was talking about. Those riots he was referring to were caused when her father shut down all services in Mantle following several worker strikes which cost her father a lot of money. The military was called into deal with the riots, but it wasn't a normal military unit. A private military company was called in and their methods of quelling the riots were anything but standard military protocol. "I just hope we haven't been a burden." Weiss said to the pilot.

"You and your money are more than welcome on this ship, kid." The pilot chuckled. Just then the ships radio picked up a transmission coming from another airship, an airship that was close by and broadcasting a distress signal. 400 hundred klicks from the southern shoreline, the Grimm had attacked an airship and their huntress was down. The airship was also unequipped to deal with the Grimm, but the pilot wasn't making any attempts to assist the airship or its passengers, much to the surprise of Weiss, Arthur and the two clones.

"Look, if we picked up their transmission, I'm sure someone else did, too. Besides, this is a cargo ship. She's not much good in a fight. I just wanna finish this job and get home. Sorry. My ship, my rules." The pilot said in their defense, much to the annoyance of Arthur who didn't like the idea of leaving those people to die.

Back in Mistral, group plus Qrow entered the campus grounds of Haven Academy, only to find it devoid of any life. Though Ruby was glad they made it to the Academy, something didn't sit right with the clones, who fanned out and began looking for students and faculty but found no one. Deciding to check the inside of the school, Rex, Fordo, Boba and Cody followed after the kids and Qrow, while Alpha and the Bad Batch continued to search the school for any signs of life. "Shouldn't a school be full of students and teachers?" Cody questioned as the group walked down a hallway inside the school towards the headmaster's office.

"Well, maybe School isn't in session right now. With all of the Grimm activity and all that?" Nora suggested.

"No, this isn't right. Come on." Qrow pointed out and dashed forwards with the others right behind him. By the time they were able to catch up with Qrow, they stood outside a pair of double wooden doors. "Get ready. There could be trouble."

Everyone readied their weapons before Qrow brought up his foot and kicked the door open. On the other side of the door, a middle-aged lion Faunus wearing a brown greatcoat with matching mane, over a white dress shirt, black slacks and dress shoes widened their eyes and threw their hands into the air, letting out a scream, as did Ruby, Jaune and Nora while Ren had a confused look like Galen, Boba and the clones while Qrow lost his balance and fell to the ground, followed Faunus who briefly fainted.

"Uh, Professor Lionheart?" Ruby questioned as the Bad Batch and Alpha rushed in.

"That's Professor Lionheart?" Wrecker asked in confusion.

Lionheart gasped and sat up before berating Qrow. "Qrow! For crying out loud, you nearly scared me half to death!"

"Me? Why weren't you waiting for us at the entrance?" Qrow asked with a growl after getting back to his feet.

"Huh?" Lionheart began before he pulled out a pocket watch from his coat and checked it. "Oh, right. Apologies. I guess time slipped away from me." The Headmaster replied with a chuckle, much to Qrow's annoyance.

"Where is everybody?" Nora asked.

The Headmaster soon noticed the students that Qrow had told him about but wasn't a hundred percent sure about the nine armored warriors with the guns. "I don't recall Qrow mentioning anything about Atlas soldiers coming with you all, was there a last-minute change I didn't know about?" he questioned nervously.

"We're not from Atlas. We're clones." Rex answered. "My name is Rex, Captain. 501st Clone Legion, this is Fordo, Cody, Alpha, Crosshair, Tech, Wrecker and Hunter. The one in Mandalorian armor is Boba. The kid in the robes is Galen."

"You mean," Lionheart gasped, pointing to Galen. "He is the Demon Lord?"

"It's just a title." Galen answered, not taking his eyes of Lionheart.

"I see. Well, my name is Leonardo Lionheart, at your service. I'm afraid most of my staff is currently away until classes resume, but—" Leonardo began, before Qrow interrupted him, questioning why he left the school so lightly defended and asked who was guarding the relic, much to Leonardo's surprise who was shocked to hear that Qrow told his companions about the relics.

"So, is this not going at all like anyone thought it would?" Nora questioned.

Meanwhile, back in Menagerie, things had taken a turn for the worst. Having confronted the Albain twins about the information found on Ilia's scroll, Ghira, Sun and Rose were for the lack of better words pissed that both twins denied any knowledge about the information and pinned the blame on Ilia. All three of them burst through the front door, angry about the recent events while Kali, Fives and Jesse watched from the porch. "Unbelievable!" Ghira growled.

"Total garbage!" Sun snarled.

"Complete bullshit!" Rose cursed before the three of them turned to each other.

"We can't let them get away with this!" all three said at the same time.

"Well, at least you two can finally agree on something." Kali said with a smile, referring to Ghira and Sun. Both of them looked at the other and while Sun gave an awkward chuckle and rubbed his head, Ghira glared slightly at the monkey Faunus and growled, his fists clenched.

"Guys. Everything's going to be okay." Blake said from the porch.

"Blake's right." Jesse said in agreement. "We've might not have been able stop the Albain's right now. But at the very least, Commander Jukassa will be back with Sienna Khan before she's been killed. She'll know what to do and she'll be able to help us convince the rest of the island the truth, maybe even get them to stop supporting the White Fang and support a cause that will unite both humanity and the Faunus."

"And if that doesn't work?" Kali asked the ARC Trooper.

"Then Jesse and I will go find their home and download everything from their terminal. Hopefully, we can send the information to General Secura and she can warn the Mistral Council." Fives added. Blake admitted that it was a good back up plan, but whether it would work or not was still up for debate.

A little while later, Blake exited her father's study and stepped onto the balcony where an armored guard addressed her, assuring Blake that if she needed anything to call her. After the guard left, Blake took a deep sigh before a familiar voice alerted her that she wasn't alone.

"You need better security." Ilia said as she dropped down onto the railing. On instinct, Blake reached for the door, but Ilia held up her hands. "Please! I-I just need to talk. Blake, it's important." Illia assured her old friend.

Blake slowly took her hand away from the door before she asked why Ilia let Corsac and Fennec blame her for everything. "I'm just following orders, Blake." Ilia said bluntly.

"Following orders? You mean to tell me that you are loyal to Adam and plan to go along with this attack? Global communications are already crippled, and the huntsmen academies were built to train newer generations of Huntsmen and Huntresses to protect all of us from the Grimm. Destroying them doesn't accomplish anything! Adam has gone too far, and you know it, this is why I left the White Fang and I know you don't agree with any of this!" Blake practically shouted.

"You think I don't know that!?" Ilia shouted back, removing her mask and showing her solemn expression. "I never wanted to target the academies. But Adam, you said it yourself, he's gone too far. First it was killing in self-defense, then it was killing defenseless board members and their families, stealing aircraft, Dust, weapons. This isn't what the White Fang was supposed to be. I joined the White Fang so I could bring about a new world, a world where our kind could live in peace, the same world your father wants. But what Adam has planned is only going to start a war." Ilia explained.

"What does that have to do with following orders?" Blake demanded.

"Because I'm not following Adam's orders!" Ilia snapped. She quickly lowered her voice before she spoke again. "Blake, I know your planning on going public with what you found on the Scroll tomorrow and it won't work. Corsac, Fennec, they have something planned. You and your family are in danger. Please… just leave Menagerie, you and your family before it's too late." Ilia begged.

Blake stared at Ilia in silence for a few moments before answering. "You're going to have to make me." She declared. Illia said nothing and sadly donned her mask once more before stepping backward off the balcony. Blake turned away and gained an angry expression, her cat ears folding for a moment before the anger faded. However, before she entered her home, she heard someone dropping behind her. "What are you doing here!?" she demanded, turning around to see that the one behind her was someone else she once knew.

Back at Haven, the large group had gathered in Lionhearts office with the Headmaster sitting behind his desk. "I have to say, Qrow, this all seems very reckless, even for you." Lionheart said to the older huntsmen.

"No, reckless is leaving one of the Relics completely unguarded. It's not checking in with Oz for ages!" Qrow exclaimed in anger.

"There was nothing to check in about before the fall of Beacon, but since that day, Mistral has been in chaos!" Lionheart exclaimed back in anger, standing up from his desk and clenching his fists. "Vale wasn't the only Kingdom to suffer that night. Everyone was watching. Every house in every kingdom watched as that poor girl was assassinated, saw monsters crawling over the city, Atlesian fighters attacking citizens and those strange ships that came out of nowhere… and then nothing. You could feel the dread in the air. With all the negativity, you can imagine what it was like when the Grimm came for us." He continued, walking towards the window of his office and looked outside. "Mistral's territory is the widest reaching in the world, you know, and that makes it infinitely harder to protect, even with the MSDF. We lost so many great Huntsmen, teachers from this very institution. And it's only gotten worse."

"What do you mean?" Ruby asked.

"We may have dealt with the Grimm temporarily, but the Mistral council's still at odds with representatives from Atlas, especially those with connections to both the SDC and criminal groups both in and outside of the kingdom. First, it was the Dust embargo, now it's the closing of borders." Lionheart answered, leaning against the windowsill for a bit before turning back to Qrow. "I'm not sure what happened to James in Vale, but it seems to have only worsened some of his more unfortunate tendencies. And, on top of everything, we don't know where the Spring Maiden is."

"All the more reason we need the huntsmen and huntresses here!" Qrow argued.

Ruby moved in closer to the two, breaking up their argument and admitting that things were bad, but that they could figure it out. "Why is the Spring Maiden so important?" she asked.

"I thought you filled them in?" Lionheart asked Qrow.

"Mostly filled in. Look, there's a lot to cover, okay? I quit teaching for a reason." Qrow answered, removing his flask from his shirt and took a swig of it.

Lionheart took a seat back down in his chair, before explaining that the four maidens have power to perform feats of magic, which made them the only ones capable of reaching the Relics. Qrow added that the four relics were locked inside a chamber that only a specific Maiden could open. Winter was the gift of Creation, Summer was Destruction, Fall for Choice and Spring for Knowledge, but Spring was the problem.

"What happened to her?" Ren asked.

"She was determined, at first, when she inherited her powers, but the weight of responsibility proved to be too much for the child. She… ran. Abandoned her training, everyone. That was over a decade ago. There's no telling where she could be." Lionheart answered.

"I… know. At least… I have a pretty good idea." Qrow spoke up, getting Lionheart to widen his eyes and stand up. "But it isn't exactly good news." He added. Lionheart however, was ecstatic about the location of the Spring after all these years, at least until Qrow said that she'd been picked up by the Branwen bandit tribe, led by none other than Yang's birth mother, Raven.

Qrow walked over to Lionhearts desk, pulled out his Scroll and placed it on Lionhearts desk. The holographic monitor on the desk displayed a map of Remnant, one area of which was zoomed in. "That's about where they've set up their main camp. It's where they fall back to after raids and scouting missions. Raven's managed to gain a lot of followers since she returned to the tribe, and I'm sure when the Spring Maiden showed up, it only made things easier." Qrow stated.

Lionheart walked over to Qrow and patted him on the back. "Well, Qrow, I've got to hand it to you. With these coordinates, we can mount a retrieval force and head out in a few weeks." The headmaster said with confidence, before he walked over to the computer and pulled up a holographic keyboard and was about to tap a few keys when the Scroll was pulled from the desk by the force. The Scroll then found its way into Galen's hands. "Can I please have that device back, young man? I need to…"

"I would suggest that we leave the coordinates on Qrow's scroll and in his care. Shortly before the event people called the Breach, Cinder infected the CCT tower with a virus that would have granted her a back door into all systems connected to the tower. If Mr. Marek hadn't noticed it during his fight with Cinder, Ironwood's droids would have been infected with the virus and would have been used to attack the people, that and it would also allow her to manipulate the matches of the Vytal Festival. His actions are logical." Tech interjected.

"Then there's also the fact that you said we'd have to wait a few weeks to go after Raven. Maybe you didn't hear me. My sister has the Spring Maiden, and I know where she is. We need to go, as soon as possible!" Qrow exclaimed, knocking some books off Leo's desk.

"And perhaps you didn't hear me. This Kingdom is in shambles. "As soon as possible" does not mean tomorrow. It means, as soon as I can convince the council that I need Huntsmen more than they do. Unfortunately, bandit tribes aren't very high on their list of priorities." Leo said angrily.

"Then damn the council. We'll do it ourselves. You and I are trained Huntsmen, these kids aren't exactly pushovers and we've also got several ARC Troopers, a bounty hunter and a Jedi with us!" Qrow replied.

"A j-jedi?" Leo stuttered.

"Perhaps there is a more peaceful way to approach this?" Ren suggested.

"We need to get Spring as far away from here as possible. And Raven isn't going to give up her most prized possession without a fight." Qrow pointed out.

"Unfortunately, you and your sister are evenly matched. And I'm not the fighter I used to be. No offense, but these students and I can't take on an entire bandit tribe and a Maiden that's no doubt had years to hone her skills. We need to be positive we can apprehend Spring, because if we fail Raven and her tribe will scatter. And we'll be lost. We get one shot at this. And it needs to be perfect." Leo said in agreement.

"There's got to be something we can do." Ruby piped up.

"What about Cinder? She came with Emerald and Mercury from Haven. Do you have anything on them?" Jaune asked.

"Tech pulled up their files shortly after the fall, kid. Everything about them is a lie. Where they came from is anyone's guess, but we do know one thing." Hunter said, catching everyone by surprise before he finally finished. "Mercury Black is the son of Marcus Black, an assassin known to steal other people's semblances."

"Are you serious?" Qrow asked.

"It's true. I looked up Mercury's family name when I was working for them. If I had known what they were planning, I could have stopped them. Even if it meant incurring the wrath of Lord Vader himself." Boba admitted.

"You know Oz wouldn't be happy with any of this if he were here." Qrow stated.

"Perhaps you're right. But he's not. I'm doing the very best I can. I'm sorry. I know you all traveled a long way. But I will do everything I can." Leo replied.

"Sure. We'll stay in the city for the time being. The Local comms are still up. Keep in touch. Come on, kids." Qrow told Leo, taking his Scroll back from Galen before the group began to file out of the room, Galen being the last one who discretely placed a commlink in Leo's office, leaving it on.

The moment the group left, Leo hung his head, looking stressed as a holographic W projected itself from his desk. 'Oh, Leo. We have got to work on your improvisational skills.' Watt's voice said through the system.

As Team RNJR, the clones, Boba and Qrow walked down the hallway, Nora asked what they should do. Qrow sighed and said he was going for a drink, but before he did Galen said something. "Lionheart's hiding something." He stated.

The group stopped in their tracks and looked back at him. "Ruby, Jaune, you guys sensed it to, didn't you? Lionheart was hiding something deep in the back of his mind. He knows more than he let on. We can't trust him. That's why I didn't let him copy the files from your Scroll." He said, turning to Qrow for the last part.

"Are certain?" Qrow asked.

"Not entirely, but we should try to keep our eyes peeled for anything out of the ordinary." He answered.

Meanwhile, several miles away from mistral, three BARC Speeder bikes, one of which had a side car along with a certain yellow motorcycle were parked outside a fuel station called 'Just Rite.' As Kix, Echo, Ahsoka and March gathered up some supplies while the bartender cleaned a glass in front of Yang. "Aren't you a little young to be drinking?" the bartender questioned.

Yang took off her aviators before she answered the bartender. "A water. It's hot out."

"Ohhh. Sure." The Bartender replied before disappearing below to the counter. Laughter from the drunken man from a few seats down caught Yang's attention. Said man was very skinny, with long dirty blonde hair and gray eyes. Their clothing consisted of a dark blue and grey jacket with torn sleeves over a long-sleeved shirt, brown leather fingerless gloves, brown pants, boots, red bandana and a shoulder pad.

"Are you telling me you're too young to drink? You look like a regular Huntress And a beauty at that." The man laughed in his drunken demeanor.

"I'm good. Thanks, pal." Yang replied to the moment she realized that the man was hitting on her, but the shady character was undeterred.

"Seriously. Not too bulky, Not too lean. You're… just right. And your hair…" the man continued, getting closer and closer to Yang who continued to ignore him, until he attempted to put a hand on her hair. This was a mistake when Yang grabbed the man's wrist and turned to face him with her glowing red eyes. What happened next was the man became a living pinball when Yang slammed her metal fist into the side of his face, knocking a tooth out of his mouth.

The man hit the floor and bounced from the floor to the ceiling several times before disappearing through the doors. The bartender soon remerged with five bottles of water, setting them down on the counter. "These ones are on the house. He's been driving me crazy for weeks." The bartender thanked, just as Ahsoka walked over to Yang. Covering her blue-grey dress with skirt, blue tights, grey boots, forearms guards, fingerless gloves and beskar plating was a brown cloak.

"Thank you." Ahsoka said to the man and grabbed one of the bottles. As she did, she noticed Yang's left hand was trembling, which she steadied with her metal hand. Giving a long, shaky sigh, yes picked up the bottle and guzzled the water down. "Take it easy, Yang. One step at a time is how you'll recover."

"So, what brings you all around these parts? We don't get many people around here, especially soldiers." The Bartender asked as Yang finished guzzling down the water before telling the bartender that she was looking for someone. "Not many people come out here. Too far from the Kingdoms. Only person worth notin' around here is… well, Ra-" the Bartender began with a chuckle before Yang cut him off.

"Raven Branwen. Thanks again." Yang answered, picking up her glasses and headed out of the rest stop.

"N-now, missy! You don't want to go messin' with bandits! They're a world of trouble!" the Bartender pleaded.

"So, I hear." Yang answered, casually walking out of the store and back to her bike, straddling her bike and revving up its engine. Echo, Kix, Ahsoka and March were about to do the same, but before they could leave, the same man from earlier approached them, having heard the entire conversation.

"He's planning on ambushing us." Ahsoka whispered to Yang, having sensed the man's intentions.

Back in Mistral, inside the hotel. Jaune, Ren, Nora, Galen and Boba were sitting on the red couches in the living room when a knock at the door caused them to tense up. Each of them looked at each other before Jaune cautiously opened the door. Standing at the door was a fourteen-year-old boy with tanned skin, perpetual blush and freckles, dark brown hair and hazel eyes. Their clothing consisted of a dirty and scuffed white shirt with laces across the chest and the sleeves rolled up, orange suspenders that held up his olive pants tucked into worn brown boots, orange gloves with green straps overlapping across the back hand in an x shaped pattern and a bandage wrapped around his neck.

Behind him was a girl of fifteen with brown hair, light skin and grey eyes. Her attire consisted of a pink dress like shirt over a brown shirt, red sash tied around the shirt, brown shorts, light grey socks and brown boots. "Sorry to bother you all but is there a Ruby Rose here?" the girl asked as the boy looked rather hesitant and uncomfortable.

"Why?" Nora asked darkly.

"Well…." The boy began to say when coming in with his arms draped over two women was a drunk Qrow. One of the women appeared to be in their early twenties with black hair and blue eyes. The attire of this women consisted of a black robe covering a white tunic and long blue skirt, black leggings with blue stripes and silver heels.

The second women had long blonde hair tied in a braid and was about twenty years old. Her attire consisted of a black dress with silver armor, long dark purple skirt, black stockings, silver gauntlets, black boots and gloves with silver armor and a silver tiara-like headband. On her back was a bullpup assault rifle with a bayonet attached at the end. This woman, Jaune recognized right away.

"I found him!" Qrow said drunkenly.

"I think her uncle could use some help." The girl said, trying to withhold her laughter.

"And this is why I never I will never drink any form of Alcohol." The girl in dress said.

"Joan!?" Jaune exclaimed in surprise.

"What is going on out there?! Can't a girl read her comic in peace?" Ruby said, stomping into the living room. A burp and chuckle caught Ruby's attention, causing her to sigh and put a hand on her forehead exasperatedly. "Uncle Qrow, did you get drunk again?" she asked.

"I'm sorry to say that he did." The women in the black robe answered as the boy finally stepped forward.

"Oh. You have silver eyes." The boy said, causing Ruby to look at him surprised, turning to Ren and Nora who shrugged as the clones walked into the room, before looking back at the boy.

"Who… are you?" Ruby asked as Qrow chuckled after the two women placed him on the couch.

"Uh… well. My name is Oscar pine. But you probably know me as… Professor Ozpin." Oscar answered, causing everyone except for Qrow to gasp and look confused. Jaune took a step back while Qrow continued to chuckle before falling off and onto the floor, startling Nora.

"Commander, you're alive?" Fordo said, causing the girl in the black robe to glare at the ARC Captain.

And chapter is complete.

Let us recap what has happened. Team RNJR, Galen, Boba, Qrow and the clones arrived in Mistral and met with Lionheart who Galen has already sensed something was off about the lion Faunus headmaster and the situation in Mistral. They have met with Oscar, a woman who Fordo called Commander, a girl that is a year older than Oscar and younger than Ruby and a women who Jaune knows as Joan.

Weiss, Arthur, Hevy and Hardcase are on route to Anima.

Blake and her group are preparing to go public with what they found on the scroll, but Ilia has warned Blake of what the Albain twins have planned and has encountered another person from her past. Who is it?

Yang, Ahsoka, March, Kix and Echo are also heading to Mistral.

The identities of the three women will be revealed later, but I'll tell you that two of them are from Star Wars: Visions and the last is from the Fate series.

I took a que from a story called Aqua's mission in regards to the current state of Mistral and the Anima council. The whole corruption and all that crap, I liked the idea. But what I didn't mention is a new type of Grimm that will be appearing down the road and it's a really ugly one. So you can expect a battle some time soon.

Anyway, until next time, please read and review and before I forget, this chapter goes out to the people affected by the tornado in Kentucky.
