Well, two review's is better than nothing, I guess. I mean, I could have gotten no reviews for my last chapter like I did for various chapters of Mobile Suit RWBY, probably because I gave Jaune a Samurai Gundam instead of something like the Narrative Gundam, which I will say is better than the Musha Gundam.

Anyway, seems like things aren't looking so good with the situation in the Ukraine. I hope it doesn't lead to another World War. I do not want to live through something like that, especially since Russia has nukes.

Another thing, I recently got GTA V for my Xbox and have been playing it recently. Sure, I said in my profile that I'm not a really big GTA fan, but it does have a good story and some good weapons. Plus, I kind of missed playing it. Speaking of Xbox One, I found a few Star Wars games for the original Xbox on the Xbox store. I think I might get a few and play them while I wait for the release of Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

Well, it's time for the first of the four-part Volume 5 finally. Trust me, there will be plenty of changes to the RWBY Canon and the fates of a certain bitch we all hate.

Let's get to the reviews.

Luffy L Deathwalker: Thanks. Now as for the situation in Atlas. I have a plan for Robyn Hill and her group when it comes to the aftermath of the election, and it will involve the Fox. I haven't forgotten about him. I do agree, Lionheart is a coward, and his death is going to be way different than canon.

Silverfox3456: Just catch up on the chapters when ever you can. First off, Weiss isn't force sensitive and neither is Blake. I hope there is more for Star Wars Visions, but I'm still undecided about Hop and Ocho and those two twins. The Battle of Haven is going to be much different than canon, seeing as there are several ARC Troopers, two Jedi, three Jedi in training, two Huntsmen, two Mandalorian Jedi and those still in training. I liked your ending to the review. 'One Shall Stand, One Shall Fall'. I love Optimus Prime with all my heart. He is one of the best Autobots of all time and the kind of person I would like to have as a father figure.

Alright, onto the chapter.

Disclaimers are the same as before, please enjoy.

Chapter 73: Haven's Fate Part 1

The full moon illuminated the night sky above Haven Academy as Galen lead the present members of his team, Teams RWBY and JNPR with Faye, Kara, Ray, Neo, Joan, Qrow, Ahsoka and Oscar following close behind him. Three days had passed since the festival and Lionhearts message that he had finally convinced the council to grant them the Huntsmen and Huntresses they needed to get the Spring Maiden from Raven.

That bothered Galen greatly, especially since Qrow told him that so many Huntsmen were dead or missing while on missions, most likely having been killed by followers of Salem, like the deceased Tyrian. His suspicions were ever more certain when Boba reported that Cinder, Emerald, Mercury and two unknowns had arrived at Raven's camp and then left after their business was concluded. Both he and the son of Jango Fett came to the same conclusion that Salem found Raven's camp because Lionheart somehow managed to give the location of Raven's camp to the one who controlled the Grimm.

Even more troubling was a recent disturbance in the Force that Galen, Ruby, Kara, Jaune, Faye, Ray, Neo and Ahsoka felt weeks ago. It was the same thing, millions of voices screaming out in fear and panic before they were silenced. Something terrible had happened and Galen knew it in his gut that it was the Empire's doing. 'Did they finish building that weapon?' Galen thought to himself.

He turned to see Ruby admiring Haven's CCT tower before she followed the others to a nearby building. As he walked, he spotted Rex, Fordo, Cody, Waxer, Boil, Hardcase, Hevy, Echo, Kix, Hunter, Alpha, Stec, Wrecker, Boba and Tech inside another building while Crosshair laid stomach first on the top of a building with his sniper rifle at the ready, all a part of Galen's plan.

The group entered the building that Lionheart had asked them to meet him at, standing on a terrace at the top of the stairs that was being held by a statue of a woman in chains. "Why hello. Thank you for… coming." The headmaster of Haven began nervously before he noticed the number of students had increased. "There… seems to be more of you than last time." He chuckled nervously, something that Galen picked up right off the bat.

"Eh, you know what they say, 'The more the merrier.'" Qrow said as the group came to a stop and looked at Lionheart. "So, what's going on with the new council?" he asked.

"Why… did you bring your weapons?" The headmaster asked.

"What? Leo, we're Huntsmen. Are you okay?" Qrow asked again.

"Of course! Of course, sorry. Just haven't had my evening coffee. So… where are the soldiers?" Lionheart stated.

"Look, it's nice to see you, but we got work to do. Are we getting support from the council or not?" Qrow questioned.

"We're not getting support from the council because this was all a set up!" Galen stated getting looks of confusion from the group and the clones who were listening in through Galen's commlink.

Out of the corner of her eye, Yang spotted a familiar black bird perched on a balcony railing. "Mom?" she said aloud. Everyone's attention turned to the bird as it flew away before Qrow fired at it, missing. The bird flew down and landed behind Lionheart, transforming into Raven herself, dawning her mask and getting glares from everyone.

"They… they really are magic…" Nora said in disbelief.

"If you're going to shoot me, shoot me. That was insulting." Raven said to her brother as she took her mask off.

"What are you doing here?" Qrow demanded.

"I could ask you the same thing." Raven answered walking down the stairs. "You've been scheming, little brother. Planning to attack your own sister."

"Leo… what have you done?!" Qrow demanded of the Headmaster who stuttered trying to find an answer.

"Leo did what any sane person would in his position – he looked at all the information he had in front of him, assessed the situation, and made a choice. And it seems you all have too." Raven answered.

"Why do you let him answer for himself!" Ray snarled, having heard all about Raven and her tribes raids during his travels in Anima when he went searching for Amber, even fighting several of her bandits.

"He doesn't have too!" Galen said aloud.

"All that time spent spying for Ozpin and you still have no idea what you're dealing with. There is no beating Salem!" Raven spat after Qrow demanded that his sister hand her over to them.

"You're wrong. We've done things that most people would call impossible, and I know the only reason we were able to do it is because we didn't do it alone! We had people to teach us, people to help us, we had each other. Work with us. At least I know we'll have a better chance if we try together. Please." Ruby plead to Raven, holding out her hand.

Raven just glared at her. "You sound just like your mother." She said with distaste, drawing her weapon Omen and created a portal. From the portal a fireball was launched and would have hit Ruby in the torso, but she dodged it and the fireball hit Kara instead, sending her back several feet into Neo who caught her.

"Kara!" Faye shouted as Cinder, Vernal, Emerald and Mercury stepped out from the portal. Following them was the same figure that had attacked Coco and her team but was wearing black robes along with Cad Bane. His face and features told Faye, Galen, Ahsoka and Ray that this individual was a Zabrak and a very powerful one at that. "A Zabrak?" Faye questioned.

"Bane?" Ahsoka questioned as well.

"Hello boys and girls." Cinder greeted as she and her group stood alongside Raven while Ruby and her group gasped.

"Cinder." Ruby said with a glare.

"C'mon guys. Is that anyway to greet old friends?" Mercury teased.

Ray growled as his eyes focused on Cinder, his sister's killer and was ready to attack but Ahsoka placed a hand on his shoulder and stopped him. Immediately, Qrow ordered the kids to stay calm, but the doors behind them opened up as Hazel stepped in and closed the doors behind him, reporting that the White Fang was preparing demolition charges and securing the school grounds adding that no one would be getting in or out. "I wouldn't be so sure about that." Kara smirked as she finally caught her breath.

Outside the building, a White Fang soldier placed a bomb on the CCT tower while Adam smiled evilly as he ordered his fellow White Fang brothers and sisters and the droids they brought with them to ensure that no one would get in their way. His smile faded when a blaster bolt slammed into the head of a Super Battle Droid, shutting it down permanently. More blaster bolts slammed into various droids and White Fang members as from one of the classroom windows, the Bad Batch and Boba opened up on the terrorists and droids. "Rex, Cody! We'll handle things out here! Keep sweeping the school grounds!" Hunter shouted into the commlink as the White Fang took cover.

Back inside the building, everyone heard the blaster fire from outside leaving Cinder and her group baffled for the lack of words while Weiss asked. "This was all just a trap?"

"It appears so…" Ren agreed.

"Raven, tell me… how long have you been with them?" Qrow demanded of his sister.

"It's obvious that she's been working with them recently. As for Lionheart, he's been working with Salem the entire time. Cinder and her team gaining entrance to the Vytal Festival wasn't just a treat for them, but a means for them to infect the CCT in Vale with that virus Tech pulled from the tower. But that's not all he's done… he's been giving Salem information for years." Galen clarified.

"It was you… you sit on the Mistral Council. You had information on every Huntsman and Huntress in the Kingdom, and you gave it all to her? I couldn't find any of them, because you let her kill them!" Qrow yelled to Lionheart who had a shameful look on his face.

"Aw now, don't beat yourself up about it, Lionheart, I'm sure Tyrian and Hazel would have found them on their own eventually. You just helped speed up the process." Cinder assured the headmaster.

"He will live with that guilt for the rest of his life." The Zab'rak said with a smile before he turned to Jaune. "Just like the guilt of not being able to live up to your families, name. Isn't that right, Jaune?"

"It can't be…" Jaune gasped before the Zab'rak removed his hood and revealed his identity. "You!? You're working for Salem!?"

Maul just laughed before he glared at Jaune. "No, I am Salem's loyal follower and Cinder's master." Maul revealed. "I will admit that I thought I could have trained you in the ways of the Dark Side of the Force, but you valued your family legacy more. Though I will admit, the training I have given you proved to be most useful to you." Maul then noticed a familiar looking Lightsaber on Jaune's waist. "Ah, I see you have found Kenobi. Tell me where he is hiding, and I will let you live."

"You know this horn head, Jaune?" March asked curiously.

"I do, he's the guy who trained me." Jaune answered. "Are you a Jedi?"

"He's not a Jedi, he's a Sith Lord." Ahsoka answered, stepping forward. "Darth Maul still lives."

"Formerly Darth, now Just Maul and Cinder's master." Maul answered.

"This guy's a Sith Lord?" Yang asked.

"He's not just any Sith Lord…" Neo stated. "He's the one who killed Duchess Satine in cold blood!" she spat.

"So, you know of me. I am flattered that Bo Katan has told many stories about me. I must be sure to thank her once I have finished my task here." Maul mocked.

"How are you even here? You vanished after you murdered Satine." Faye demanded.

"Now that is quite a story." Maul said before he began his tale. "After I escaped from Stygeon and the fall of the Shadow Collective, I escaped a Separatist ambush in Wild Space before the end of the Clone War. A shot from one their battleships inadvertently activated my hyperdrive and the coordinates were inputted incorrectly. Many would assume that I was dead, but in truth I crashed on this unique planet, landing in the domain of Salem herself. Of course, she tried to kill me, but I was far more powerful than she could have even imagined. Impressed by my power, I joined her willingly and began to train Cinder in the ways of the Dark Side, once she was brought to us."

"He was a far better teacher than the Huntsmen who tried to guide me down the right path after I killed my abusers in Atlas." Cinder added.

"But that's not all I have done… I have given Salem her own droid army and assisted her in creating the newest Grimm based on the most dangerous species in the Galaxy. Of course, our alliance with the Empire was unexpected but not unwelcome, especially if my old master decides to grace this planet with his presence and then I will have my revenge."

"What the hell is wrong with you two!" Ray seethed removing his helmet and revealing his face. "How can either of you be so broken inside… to take so many lives and rub it in our faces like it's something to be proud of?! All with the damn smile on your face!" he continued, tears streaming from his eyes. "I'm going to make you pay for what you did! Do you hear me?! I'll make you pay for murdering my sister!"

"Your sister?" Cinder questioned. "Ah yes, the former Fall Maiden. The pretended. I enjoyed putting an arrow into her and taking what rightfully belongs to me. She kept on begging that I spare her brother, but I think it will be better to kill you and have you join your sister, mother and father in death. She was truly weak." She mocked.

"I wouldn't wanna be running my mouth about him right now, little lady. He's not someone you want to annoy." Bane warned, but it was already too late. Ray gained a look of shock which then turned to anger before drew his sabers and lunged at Cinder, only to have his blades blocked by a glowing scimitar and red blade. "I tried to tell her."

"Ray!" Ruby shouted and leapt into the air, but a chain wrapped around her and pulled her to the ground, courtesy of Emerald.

"You're not getting near her." Emerald declared, only to get hit in the face by an armored fist from Neo. "Didn't think you had it in you, Neo. Joining a bunch of weaklings."

"Just shut up and fight." Neo snarled, cracking her fists before charging towards Emerald.

Yang rushed to join her sister but was cut off by Mercury who landed in front of her, prosthetic feet first. "Hey there, Blondie. I'm thinking you and I can make a fresh start. What ya say you and I blow this place and have a little fun?" he offered.

"In your dreams!" Yang rejected and decked Mercury in the face hard, before using her gauntlets to propel herself forward.

"Take out the heiress and knight. Don't bother wasting your power, they're not worth it." Raven ordered Vernal, drawing her sword as Qrow used his scythe to attack his sister, angered at her betrayal. "Sorry, brother. Sometimes family disappoints you like that."

"Running away was one thing… but you crossed the line. And by the way, we're not family anymore." Qrow retorted, ducking under a slash and jumping back. He dodged two more swings as Raven followed him and clashed blades one more time before kicking her brother away.

"Let's see what the Schnee and Penwolf names really mean." Vernal said, drawing her weapons on Weiss and Arthur who did the same thing to her.

"We are more than just names." Weiss responded.

"We are true warriors. More than I can say for you." Arthur added.

"Try me." Vernal challenged. Weiss casted a pair of glyphs below her and Arthur, projecting themselves forward to fight the Spring Maiden. No one noticed Oscar sneaking up the stairs to Lionheart while Hazel, Bane and Maul confronted the others.

"It appears that you outnumber us ten to one." Maul observed. "I expect you want us to surrender considering you have the numbers, but that is where you are wrong, children." Maul said and snapped his fingers.

Out from the shadows behind the pillars, dozens of Magna Guards emerged but they weren't the typical Magna Guards. These were the rare IG-110 lightsaber droids, built by the CIS to deal with the Jedi involvement during the Clone War, each of them armed with twin red lightsabers powered by synthetic lightsaber crystals. Jaune and Kara drew their lightsabers, ready for a battle but Faye kept her lightsaber sheathed. "Jaune, Kara. Deal with the droids. Joan and I will go and assist Hunter and his squad." She instructed.

"But I can't…" Kara began before her master cut her off.

"Kara. You have proven to be a capable student and I am proud to call you my padawan. But this is your battle and I will not abandon my comrades to the likes of the White Fang." She assured Kara. "Remember your first lesson. You can't change the river's flow by casting a stone, but live in harmony with nature, and you'll change together. The people of Remnant and Keelia know this well. You know that the breath of life becomes wind and will always respond. Magina, may you rise. And may the Force be with you, my Padawan." Faye reminded her young padawan before dashing out of the building with a burst of speed before anyone could react with Joan following behind her.

"That's one less headache to deal with." Bane stated before spitting out the toothpick in his mouth and turned to Ahsoka. "Now then little lady, Skywalker isn't here to save you this time so what da' say we have our rematch?" Bane said.

Ahsoka said nothing and drew her lightsabers just in time to block several shots from Bane's LL-30 blaster pistols, being kept on the defensive. "Deal with the droids! I'll handle Bane!" Ahsoka shouted to the others.

"Understood." Kara acknowledged, raising her green blade just in time to block a pair of sabers from one of the droids. From her training with Galen in fighting opponents with two lightsabers, she knew that opponents such as these would not pay much attention to the power of the force. Another droid tried to slash at her back, but by reaching out with the force she grabbed the droid and sent it flying backwards into the wall, ducking down and slashing the other droid across the chest before going after another droid.

Jaune raised his own saber to block four pairs of blades from two droids, kicking one of them out from underneath their legs and brought his blue blade through the torso, slicing it in half before he called on the force and disassembled one of the droids and sent its pieces into several other droids, destroying a few of them with the improvised projectiles. He kept his thoughts in the back of his mind, wondering if all his training was a part of Maul's plan to help Salem. Was he a tool? Jaune ignored such thoughts and returned to the battle at hand.

Nora and Ren on the other hand, held their weapons defensively as Hazel confronted them. "I don't wish to fight either of you." Hazel told the students.

"Nor I you." Ren said as well.

"But we will if you're with her!" Nora snarled.

"Very well, then." Hazel said to the two and cracked both his neck and muscles, proceeding towards them, leaving Galen and Ruby to contend with Maul.

"I honestly expected for all of you to be here, including the clones and Jango's son." Maul admitted. "Yet here you are, not only with another Jedi, but the brother of the former Fall Maiden, his childhood friend and the daughter of Zhima Lan." He then turned to Galen. "You seemed to know what exactly what was going on. Care to let me in on the secret?"

"I sensed Lionhearts deception the moment we met him. The fact he sent all the staff and students home, leaving Haven defenseless was the first clue. The fact he never checked in with Ozpin before Beacon fell, asking me for Qrow's scroll back when he was about to get the location of the Spring Maiden, the delays in getting back to us, the files for Cinder and her cronies being forgeries. He had all the makings of a traitor." Galen answered, his hands on his lightsabers, ready to draw them at a moments notice. "I take it you're the one who killed those bandits at the old Dust mine in Vacuo?" he questioned.

"I will admit, it could have all been avoided, but one of those bandits had much anger and drew the Grimm towards their location. I only acted in self-defense while the Grimm took care of the rest. Don't tell me you are upset with me?" Maul mockingly asked.

"On the contrary, I think I ow you some thanks. We got a series of new buggies out of it." Galen smirked.

"Well, I am glad that at least you have new vehicles. But it will do you no good. Salem will be victorious and once her goals have been accomplished, I will have my revenge against my former master." Maul glared.

"You want revenge against Sidious?" Ruby questioned.

"Of course, my young rose. I was once the apprentice of the most powerful being in the galaxy. I was destined to become… so much more. But I was robbed of my destiny by the Jedi, by Obi-Wan Kenobi." Maul began before he felt the anger inside him building. "The Sith… the Sith took everything from me. Ripped me from my mother's arms, murdered my brother, used me as a weapon and then cast me aside. Abandoned me. Once, I had power, then I had nothing and now, I have power again." Maul ranted.

"And you think helping Salem is going to give you your revenge? She's killing innocent people with the Grimm and she's working with the Empire!" Ruby spat.

"You can thank your friend, The Demon Lord for the Empire's arrival. He is the one you should be angry at." Maul pointed out.

"I never intended to bring the Empire to Remnant, but I will be damned if I allow you, Salem or Vader to destroy and plunder this planet's resources for your own gains." Galen snapped, igniting his blue blades as did Ruby with her own green saber. "Your plans end here, Maul!"

"Disappointing. But not unexpected." Maul said with a sigh that shifted to a devilish smirk. "At the very least, I can bring the girl to Salem once I kill you." He laughed, igniting his own double-bladed lightsaber before he twirled it and charged towards the two Jedi.

As the fights began, Lionheart watched nervously before he noticed Oscar walking up behind him. "Young man, I don't know who you are or what you think you're doing, but for your sake, I suggest you leave. Now." Lionheart implored to Oscar who defiantly remained stationary before taking a few more steps towards Lionheart. "I'm warning you!" Lionheart shouted, holding out his weapon Stalwart, a wrist mounted shield with several Dust containers beneath the cross, switching it to active mode while Oscar prepared to draw something from behind him. Rotating his weapon, Lionheart launched a flaming rock at Oscar who held his arms out in front of him as the attack exploded, leaving Oscar unscathed while his Aura shimmered, and he drew Ozpin's cane as he continued forwards.

"Ozpin?" Lionheart questioned with wide eyes only to be proven wrong when Oscar proceeded forward with an attack that forced Lionheart ono the defensive. Lionheart blocked or dodged most of the attacks but one of them drove him against the rail. Oscar hit the rail as the traitor avoided another strike, before he followed up with a swing that sent Lionheart staggering down the steps, jumping down to continue attacking, managing to whack Lionheart a few steps back. "This can't be… I knew you would be back, but… you made it here! You found Qrow! How? Wait. You can't have had this form for long. You're… not really Ozpin right now. Boy. Child. If I deliver you to Salem, she'll have to be pleased with me, and I can finally get out of all of this! I can finally be free!"

Now determined, Lionheart prepped his weapon again aiming at Oscar only to be slammed against the steps by Kara who leapt over head and pointed her lightsaber at Lionheart. "I don't know if you were involved with my fathers death, but you are not getting Oscar." She stated, blocking a shot from Lionhearts weapon.

Meanwhile, Weiss leapt around on her glyphs, dodging Vernal's weapons which she threw like boomerangs. Backing into a pillar Weiss is forced on the defensive and created a large ice wall, stabbing her rapier into the ground while her Arma Gigas summon crawled out of her glyph. A large beam then destroyed the ice wall and the Gigas before it be fully summoned. "Don't think I'm going to let you take the easy way out." Vernal told the former Heiress.

"And you should really learn not to focus on only one opponent." Arthur said from behind, slashing at Vernal's back with his wrist blades only to for the Spring Maiden to block the attack. "Never let your guard down in battle, especially when fighting two opponents." He added. Vernal scowled at the two before she fired her weapons ranged mode at them.

Elsewhere, Ray was knocked to the ground by a blow to the gut. "I'm starting to remember you, you're the pilot they call Three Strikes. The one that left Neo for dead." Cinder chuckled. Ray got back to his feet and clashed blades with Cinder once again. Neo could only watch them fight but was snapped out of her distraction by Emerald, who transformed her sickles into their revolver forms and fired at Neo, who drew the Dark Saber and blocked the shots.

"You are really stupid aren't you? Salem's—" she began before Emerald cut her off saying that she was doing this for Cinder.

Emerald then activated her semblance creating a wall of fire around Neo which Cinder emerged from and charged at Neo. Neo however, closed her eyes and listened for the sound of Emeralds feet. When she did, she drew one of her blasters and hit Emerald in the chest. "Seeing a hallucination, your mind can make mistakes. But when one doesn't look at their target and listens, you'd be surprised at what you can accomplished." She teased.

Ahsoka continued to block shots from Bane's blasters before the Duro's bounty hunter unsheathed a Vibrosword and slammed it against Ahsoka's blades. "Why did you decide to come to Remnant, Bane? Aren't you busy being a bounty hunter and cold-blooded killer?" Ahsoka teased.

"I always had a vendetta against you, Tano. You cost me quite a few bounties during the last years of the war. Still, a body like yours would net me a lot of credits selling you as a slave. Still, I can at least kill you and get my revenge." Bane replied and swung his blade against Ahsoka's sabers, countering each strike with her years of training.

Jaune slashed apart droid after droid before he looked back at March who blasted a droid with a point-blank shot from his shotgun. "Pyrrha." Jaune thought, remembering that the girl he loved choose Beacon over Haven because of her status and if it weren't for that, he would never have met her. Raising his shield and blocking the arm of one IG-110, he swung his saber against droids body, destroying it. 'I won't fail, not again.'

Weiss however wasn't faring any better with her fight against Vernal who continued to prove to a difficult opponent to fight against, taking a point-blank attack that depleted her aura, letting out a pained scream. Arthur looked in her direction and charged towards Vernal, firing his wrist guns at the Spring Maiden. Trigger saw this and became angry when Cinder mocked him about letting his sister die.

Cinder ignited her Scimitar, fully coating it in flames before clashing with Ray's lightsabers. Ruby noticed this and thought back to when Galen was stabbed by Vader and her eyes started to shine bright, only to be knocked back into a pillar by blast from Maul, knocking her down. Galen saw this and used his semblance to transfer some of his aura to Ruby. "Never mind her! Worry about yourself!" Maul snarled, forcing Galen onto the defensive again.

Ray kept on the attack, slamming his lightsabers into Cinder's flaming sword and managed to score a hit on Cinder's mask, chipping it and saw the left side of her face. Enraged, Cinder activated her Maiden power, knocking Ray down to the ground before she stepped down on top of Trigger to hold him down. "Did you think you actually had a chance against me?!" Cinder roared.

"If I die avenging my sister and taking you down, then it's worth it! I'll send you to hell for what you did to Amber!" Ray spat. Cinder just looked around and watched as her master and comrades were fighting her allies, smiling evilly before she looked back down at him.

"You think so?" Cinder asked, noticing that Weiss was knocked back several feet away and slowly proceeded toward her, conjuring an obsidian spear that she then threw towards Weiss. Time seemed to slow down as the spear was aimed directly at Weiss's abdomen and would have stabbed her had Ahsoka not tackled her out of the way and took the hit where there wasn't any Beskar to protect her.

The former padawan of Anakin Skywalker gasped in shock as everyone stopped fighting and stared in shock as well. The spear disintegrated as Ahsoka went motionless and slumped forward. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Ray shouted in anger and anguish.

And I'll stop right there.
