Looks like many people are happy that I killed of Cinder. Truthfully, I am too. I really hate her guts, though like I said before, she does look good in that thief outfit and black dress from Volume 2. I think I might give one of those outfits to the Ruby and her allies, for when the need for stealth is needed.
Now it's time for the fate of Haven to be decided and then we move onto the events of A New Hope. I'll have to watch that movie again and it will be worth it seeing as I love Star Wars with all my heart. Trust me when I say there will be some changes to the events of the movie, so if you have any requests leave them for me in a review.
Alright, let's get onto the reviews.
Spartan-626: Thank you. Glad that you approve of Cinder's death and how I showed Adam's crazy side. Figured I would work with that and improve upon it. Pawn or parasite, I'm pretty sure that once her usefulness to Salem was complete, she would be killed. Glad you also liked Raven losing one of her eyes and I'll try to make the situation between Raven and Yang one you'll like.
Antex-The Legendary Zoroark: It may be from a previous chapter, but I am glad you liked how I brought in Hondo. Who knows, I might bring him in again sometime soon.
54godamora: Glad you liked Cinder's death and I'd figured that was his strength, Ghira wouldn't have a problem lifting a Super Battle Droid. He's another of one the guys I like.
Luffy L Deathwalker: You'll be surprised where the Fall Maiden powers end up going to and it won't be Ruby. She's already got the force, so no need to give her an extra power up. I do however have an idea for transporting the relic. If you're theory is correct, I hope it doesn't leave any messy results.
BlindFaunusGirl: Thanks for the comments. I will admit that I wanted Trigger to give into his anger and desire for revenge, but a wise warrior once said, 'Revenge will not bring back those we have lost'. Nora's smash on Maul only caught him off guard, so don't expect him to return to the battle any time soon. The cliffhanger will be revealed this chapter.
Wacko12: Raven got her first lightsaber from a Jedi she killed following the wake of Order 66, which Galen took from her back in chapter two. This new one was found when she and her tribe raided Shion village. Must have forgotten to mention that.
Monster King: Thank you once again for your support.
Silverfox3456: When I first started writing this story, I planned on killing Cinder so she can suffer just like the people she killed did, with the exception of the madame and her daughters of the Glass Unicorn. Those bitches got what they deserved when they pushed her too far. Yep: A New Hope will be next. Glad you like this story of mine.
The guest Reader: No way am I having Raven sold into slavery. Sure, she's a bitch, left her daughter and leads a tribe of bandit's but no one deserves to be sold into slavery. It completely wrong on so many levels, both in real life and in fiction. If she were to encounter Darth Vader, she wouldn't last long against him and the power of the dark side of the force. Plus, her philosophy only works when it comes to wild animals and not human beings.
Alright, let's get this chapter started.

Chapter 76: Haven's Fate: Part 6
The battle between the Menagerie Faunus, 501st troopers, former White Fang and Adam's soldiers continued. One of the Mistral airships shined their searchlight over several battle droids only for the light to be shot out by a stray shot. One of the Super Battle Droids, this one a B2-HA fired its cannon at the airship which barely had enough time to evade the shot, taking a hit in the right in the engine and crashed into the school.
Luckily, not all of the policemen on the airship were killed and those that survived crawled out of the wreckage armed with submachine guns and started to fire back at the droids as Delta Squad took up defensive positions around the airship, laying down covering fire as Ilia and a combine group of Menagerie Faunus and more policemen arrived to tend to the wounded officers.
Two former White Fang soldiers fired the last of their rounds at the droids before they were gunned down by the droids. Another White Fang soldier threw their weapon down in fear and started to run away, only to take a hit in the shoulder from the droids and would have been killed had Ilia not whipped the blaster out of one droid and used it to gun down several droids while a group of policemen pulled the wounded soldier to safety.
Elsewhere, Hanzo and Ghira continued to slash and bash the droids that surrounded them. Ghira picked up a battle droid and snapped it in half tossing the two halves into two Super Battle Droids before Hanzo leapt over his shoulder and slashed one of them down the middle. The second droid fired its wrist blasters at the ninja master only for its shots to be deflected by Hanzo's sword allowing Ghira to punch a hole clean through the droid's chest. "Your strength is immense, but you are a gentle giant, my friend." Hanzo praised.
"I only fight when I have to, and this is one of those times." Ghira replied as blaster bolts from a nearby building downed a couple of droids. Both men turned to see a glint of glass in the distance and they both knew the shooter was none other than Rose. "And while I may not use a weapon, I know that there are those who have me covered."
Rose smiled at her handy work before she turned her blaster towards several other droids and downed them with precise shots to the head. Her A280 had been modified with parts from the A295, making it a selective fire weapon capable of burst fire and full auto. But for the current situation, she opted for semi-auto and kept the pressure on the droids. "Three hundred meters is the effective range for this blaster, but with the modifications on this beauty I'm just as deadly if I got up close and personal." She said with a smile before a rocket from a Super Battle Droid forced her to jump off the building. Landing on the ground, she switched to full auto and opened up on the droids.
"Blast her!" one droid shouted only for their squad to start taking fire from behind as Domino Squad, Jesse, Hardcase and Rex rushed towards Rose's position. "We've been outflanked. We need to-" the droid shouted before Rex bashed the droid with his pistols.
"Let's give the gunslinger some backup! Stay together boys!" Rex shouted to his brothers in the 501st. More droids started to arrive, forcing the group to take cover behind a piece of the building that was knocked down from the blast.
Whipping out their Z6's, Hardcase and Hevy sprayed the droids with blaster fire allowing Jesse and Fives to lob a couple of detonators at the droids, blowing them up into multiple pieces. Echo followed up with a burst from his carbine downing a few droids while Rex blind-fired his pistols at the droids downing more of their old enemies. "Keep on 'em! We've got this handled!" Rex shouted as Rose opened up with a long burst from her blaster. "Short-controlled bursts!" he remined.
"Copy that, Cap." Rose quipped and helped herself to one of Rex's grenades, armed it and threw it towards the droids before she used her semblance, locked onto the grenade and fired at it before it even reached the droids, exploding and taking out more droids.
Nearby, Cody, Waxer, Boil, Gregor and Alpha charged towards the droids with Zett and Faye by their side, deflecting blaster fire back at the droids while the clones covered their flanks. Cody spotted a sniper taking aim at Zett and nailed the droid with blaster fire, sending it falling over the roof to the ground. "Move it! Move it! Move it!" Cody shouted to his brothers as they moved up towards the tower in the middle of the courtyard where Gungi, Katooni and several former White Fang soldiers were pinned down on all sides by battle droids.
There guns weren't loaded with lighting dust, so it was taking them longer to contend with the droids, especially the destroyer droids that were still active despite the dispensers that Lionheart had transported into the school were now wrecks of twisted metal. As such, several ex-White Fang soldiers were now dead and those that were still alive were starting to panic and that panic would bring in the Grimm. The panic subsided when the destroyer droids' shields short-circuited allowing the ex-terrorists to down the droids before they could come around. The clones leapt over the cover the ex-terrorists were using and kept on firing at the droids, blasting them down. "Scrap these clankers and send them to the junk pile!" Cody shouted.
"Sir yes, sir!" the 212th troopers replied and kept on blasting the droids while handing out grenades to the former White Fang soldiers as the four Jedi slashed through the droids and blasted them back with the force.
Kara on the other hand had used up the last of her ammo for her rifle, threw it down and was about to activate her lightsaber when a lucky shot from a commando droid hit her in the right leg. She screamed in pain and fell to her knees as another blaster bolt slammed into her left arm. The commando droids surrounded her and readied their blasters. Time slowed down as Kara felt like this was the end of her life, when she felt a fire deep inside her restored her aura and she unleashed a massive blast wave of fire that knocked the droids back, destroying several of them. "What the?" she questioned when Fordo rolled in and downed the last of the droids with his pistols.
"You ok, kid?" Fordo asked as he rushed to her side. It was then that he noticed the power she unleashed on the droids. "I don't believe it, you're the new Fall Maiden." He exclaimed. Before Kara could say anything, more droids started to approach them. Calling her lightsaber back to her, Kara ignited its blade and readied herself as Fordo twirled his pistols around. "We'll talk about this later. Let's scrap these clankers."
Elsewhere, Blake stood proudly over her former partner who was on his knees before he struggled to get back up. Adam noticed that his droid forces were being demolished by those who betrayed him and were interfering with his plans. "I'm going to make you regret ever coming back…" he seethed.
"More police are on their way, Adam. Huntsmen too." Blake told him.
"Still to afraid to face me on your own." Adam chuckled evilly.
"I'm here for Haven, not you." Blake declared. Angered by this, Adam pointed his sword at Blake and drew his lightsaber, with Blake following suit with her own sword and lightsaber.
"Heh, you are still afraid, and you should be. I've made powerful friends while you've been away. Friends who will give me everything I need to show humanity that the Faunus are their rightful masters, and they should serve us. It will be the dawning of a new age. The age of the Faunus." Adam declared.
"Oh yeah?" Sun asked as he approached Adam with his staff ready. "Where are they? I don't seem to see them anywhere. You sure you're not making all that stuff up?" he joked. "And before you ask if Blake makes all her friends fight for her, that's not true. It's a volunteer gig. I'm just sayin', for someone who claims to have such great friends, there doesn't seem to be a lot of people willing to fight for you." He added.
"Your spark of revolution has failed Adam. Do the right thing and surrender. We've got you outnumbered." Sienna spoke up. Adam looked around him and saw that his former followers along with the forces Blake brought with her surrounded him and his droids were all destroyed.
"You can try and make me regret coming here, Adam, but honestly… I've got more important things to deal with." Blake bluntly told Adam. Frustrated, Adam growled and swung his sword at Sun, but the monkey Faunus countered the attack with his nunchucks, blocking Blake's lightsaber with his own only for Sun to knock him back. Seeing he was surrounded, Adam bolted from the school and Sun was about to give chase, but Blake stopped him, knowing that Adam was trying to lure them away so he could pick them off one by one and their objective was to protect the school, adding that Adam will now know what it feels like to run away.
Sun took a glance at the Great Hall where Blake's friends were still fighting off their enemies. Blake saw this as well and rushed to help her friends, but not before telling Sun to be careful. She wasn't alone as Boba had also silently left the fight and entered the school having spotted Bane earlier.
Back inside the Great Hall, Weiss had used her semblance to create a Queen Lancer that impaled several of the remaining IG-110's with its stinger while the summoner drew their lightsaber and blocked a red blade from one of the IG-110's, allowing Arthur to stab it through the chest.
Neo slashed several droids in half with the Dark Saber and was about to go after Mercury and Emerald when entering the hole were half a dozen IG-100's that were probably only just arriving. "Damn stick tinnies!" she cursed and turned her attention to them. Raising her black blade, she parried the staff of one droid before slicing it into several dozen pieces, which she then sent flying towards the other Magnaguards, three of which knocked down allowing Ruby's green blade to end them.
The two girls then stood together back-to-back as the last two IG-100's and several IG-110's surrounded them. The two looked to each other and nodded. One of the remaining IG-100's tried to thrust their staff into Ruby's torso, but Ruby parried the attack and swung her blade upward slicing it right through the middle.
Neo blocked the attack of the other droid and used a series of slashes that carved up the final IG-100 like it was sushi. The remaining IG-110's were still a threat, but the two Jedi called on the force and unleashed a telekinetic shockwave that sent the droids flying into the walls, destroying them upon impact. "Nice work, Red. Oh and if Galen didn't tell you, thanks for killing Roman for me. That dude was a jackass who loved destruction way too much." Neo praised.
Ruby smiled at Neo before a lucky shot from one of Emeralds sickle guns hit her in the cheek. Thankfully, the shot didn't break her aura, so she was still in the fight. The same couldn't be said for Lionheart who after trying to shoot Ruby with his gauntlet lost the lightsabers that he picked up ran away in fear. "You're not getting away that easily!" Qrow shouted and gave chase after Lionheart as Blake joined the battle.
Emerald and Mercury groaned, leaving them wide open for Weiss and Blake to attack them with one of their team attacks. March was then able to land a hit on one of Mercury's legs, damaging the circuits in the leg. "Your fight is with us you bastards!"
Back down in the Vault, Yang glared at her wounded mother while Galen, Ray and Ahsoka watched. "I warned you, Yang. I gave you every opportunity to walk away from Qrow and Oz. So, you can believe me when I say this wasn't personal." Raven said, ripping part of her dress and tied it around her wounded eye.
"Shut up! You opened the vault." Yang snarled.
"Thanks to the chaos you and your friends caused upstairs. I knew you could handle it. You're my daughter after all." Raven countered. She was surprised when Yang sprinted in with a fiery blast and slammed her fists into her gut. "And it seems you got more than just my blood in your veins." She grinned.
"You called me a mistake." Yang spat, remembering their conversation back at the bandit camp. "You said you attended Beacon to learn how to kill Huntsmen and Huntresses and that because Dad didn't use a condom, I came into the picture and you just up and left. You wanted a daughter that you could raise in the tribe, to be just like you. Well, you're not my mother anymore. I don't need you." She added. "Qrow and Ozpin told me how the Maiden powers are transferred. The girl you found… she wouldn't have trusted you if you were in her final thoughts – cared about you a lot."
"Compared to you who sat and obeyed while they told you everything. You're…" Raven began.
"No, I'm the one who's starting to ask questions like you said. So, tell me… did you kill the last maiden? Did she die in battle? Was it sickness?" Yang asked.
"What does it matter to you?" Raven asked back.
Yang's eyes widened. "I can already see the answer. It's all over your face. How could you?!"
"She was scared when we found her! Weak. No matter how much training I put her through, she never learned! She wasn't cut out for this world! And with those powers, she would've been hunted her entire life! What I did—" Raven tried to reason.
"Wasn't personal." Yang quoted. "And it wasn't mercy! You killed her in cold blood. Which is it, mom? Are you merciful, or are you a survivor? Did you let me walk into this trap because you knew I could handle it, or because it meant that you could get what you wanted?!" Yang demanded.
"It's not that simple. You don't know me, you don't know what I've been through, the choices I've had to make!" Raven countered.
"Choices like abandoning your daughter because you didn't want her? Killing innocent people and betraying the trust of someone who trusted you and had powers that you took for your own gain? You're right. I don't know you. I only know the Raven dad told me about. She was troubled and complicated, but she fought for what she believed in, whether it was her team or her tribe! Did you kill her too?" Yang shouted.
"That Raven, was weak. Weak because she didn't have the stomach to make the right choice the moment it came to hit her in face. I've stared death in the face over and over again! And every time I've spat in that face and survived, because I am strong to do what others won't!" Raven exclaimed, her maiden powers activating with her anger. "But it's not to late for us to start over."
She then held out her hand. "Join me, Yang. Leave your friends, your weak family and come join my tribe. With my powers and your strength, we can do whatever we want and take whatever we want. It's where you were always meant to be."
(Numb starts)
"Oh, shut up! You don't know the first thing about strength! You turn your back on people, you run away when things get too hard, your put others in harms way instead of yourself and now you want me to join you and your damn tribe!? You might be powerful, but that doesn't make you strong and my answer remains the same. I won't join your tribe!" Yang yelled, balling her fists.
"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE, LECTURING ME?! Stand there, shaking like a scared little girl?!" An enraged Raven yelled. "If you won't join me, then I'll just kill you instead." She said, drawing her sword and lunged at her daughter. Yang just stood her ground and waited for her mother to get close before she flicked her wrists, her beskar blades in her gauntlet and arm shooting out and raised just in time to block her mother's sword. "Interesting blades, didn't think you'd use weapons like these, considering your fighting style." Raven smirked, impressively.
Yang said nothing and took a fighting stance, gesturing for her mother to come at her. A challenge that Ravens was more than happy to oblige her daughter with. Her sword equipped with an ice dust blade, she swung her sword and sent an arc of ice towards Yang who barely had enough time to dodge the attack. "Galen, you and the others rest. This is a fight between a daughter and her mother." Yang shouted to Galen, Ray and Ahsoka who decided to stay out of the fight.
"Sure, you don't want your friends to back you up, Yang? You could take me down easily with four of you." Raven noted. Yang didn't reply and raised her gauntlet blades and clashed them against her mother's sword. Beskar met Dust and ice shards flew from the clash, some of which were extremely sharp.
A swing from both her blades broke Raven's ice blade followed by a shot from her gauntlets that destroyed her scabbard and her extra blades. Raven snarled and drew back her fist, punching at her daughter but Yang countered and parried her attack, kicking her in the stomach and knocking her down to the ground.
Using the gun mode, Yang fired a blast at the ground below her and propelled herself into the air, diving down on her mother with her blades and fists but her mother was quick to leap back to her feet, slamming her feet into Yang stomach. Plunging her blades into the ground, Yang stopped herself and flicked her wrists again, switching back to her gun mode and fired several blasts at her mother some of which hit her mother and caused her aura to shimmer. "Is that all you got, Yang? Aren't you still afraid of the man who took your arm from you? Is that why you keep your distance, so you don't have to experience what you went through before?" Raven taunted.
Again, Yang said nothing even as her mother leapt over, landed behind her and hit her with several punches, resulting in her own aura shimmering. Raven threw another punch, but Yang dodged to the left and avoided it while kicking Raven in the leg. A bicycle kick soon followed and the power of it sent Raven flying into the rocks near the vault entrance. "Are you going to talk back or just ignore me!" Raven demanded.
Once again, Yang said nothing and launched a series of shots towards her mother but without her sword to protect her Raven took several hits that finally knocked out her aura. Seething with anger, Raven drew her lightsaber and charged at her daughter who was more than ready for her. Raising her prosthetic arm, she extended her Beskar blades and blocked Raven's red blade before nailing her mother with a punch to her stomach, knocking the wind out of her and forcing her to drop the lightsaber.
Yang wasn't finished yet and stabbed her blade into Raven's side, causing her to scream in pain before she kicked her to the ground and repeatedly punched her mother in the ribs and the face several times before she delivered one last punch that was just inches from Raven's face.
(End song)
She then pulled back from her beaten mother and got back to her feet. "Yeah, I am scared. But I'm still standing here! I'm not like you and never will be! I won't run and I'll never join your stupid tribe. That's why you're going to give me the relic." Yang scolded her beaten and bruised mother who was starting to bleed.
"And why would I-" Raven began but Yang cut her off.
"BECAUSE YOU'RE AFRAID OF SALEM!" Yang yelled. "And if you thought having Maiden powers, put a target on your back, imagine what she'll do when she finds out you have the relic. She'll come after you with everything she has and that includes the droids and Maul. Or she can come after me and unlike you, I'll still be standing there, waiting for her."
Even in her bruised state, Raven could still activate her Maiden powers, seething with anger at what her daughter said to her before her expression turned to a solemn one. Raven then deactivated her maiden powers and somberly urged Yang that she shouldn't do anything. But Yang just ignored her and bumped into her mother, passing her and approached the relic chamber, not noticing her mother's tear.
A lightsaber was tossed to Raven's feet, Cinder's lightsaber and Raven looked to see that Trigger had tossed the weapon. "She took my sister. She will never rob anyone of anything, ever again." Ray said walking after Yang with Galen and Ahsoka behind him as just as Raven used her semblance and opened a portal, changing into her bird form before flying through the portal and leaving behind a single black feather.
Yang didn't care and entered the relic chamber's vast desert and approached an ornate, gold and cyan lamp resting on a stone pedestal. Grabbing the Relic of Knowledge by the handle, she walked out of the vault but not before picking up Cinder's lightsaber and clipped it to her side. "This might be useful." She said to herself.
Back above the vault, Lionheart burst into his office and ran behind his desk, frantically opening the drawers looking for something. Suddenly, he heard an ominous clicking noise and looked up to see the Seer floating in front of his desk as a familiar voice came from it. "And where might you be going?" the voice of Salem echoed from the Seer.
"Uh, your grace!" Lionheart said with a stammer and nervous chuckle. "I was just looking for something."
"Leonardo, do you have something you wish to tell me?" Salem inquired. Lionheart didn't say anything for a bit before he finally told Salem his response.
"It was Cinder! She altered the plan! Huntsmen showed up here! Jedi too! Qrow! Several students, one with Silver Eyes! The White Fang attack, it was stopped!" he started with a stammer. "Hazel! He betrayed us! I don't know that they'll be able to recover the Relic… Your grace, I can still be of assistance! I—I can avoid the authorities and come fine you, I'll do whatever it takes!" he begged as his heart began to beat faster and faster, but Salem didn't respond.
Out of options, Lionheart aimed his weapon at the Seer but one of its tentacles knocked it off his wrist. He attempted to flee but one of the tentacles wrapped around the headmaster's leg, causing him to trip and fall, before he started to beg for his life. One of the sharp tentacles took aim at elderly headmaster as he kept begging for his life and more tentacles wrapped around his body and was dragged towards the Seer.
Just as the tentacle was about to stab him, a blaster bolt slammed into the center of the Seer courtesy of Boba Fett who had his carbine at the ready while Qrow aimed his scythe in its gun mode at Lionheart. "Qrow, please. I didn't mean to! You have no idea what Salem is capable of! You have no idea what she did to me! Tell me Qrow, what would you do if you were in my place? Tell me!" Lionheart demanded, trying once again to beg for his life.
"You're right, I don't know. But I wouldn't have sold out all those Huntsmen and Huntresses to her just to save my own ass!" Qrow spat in anger.
"I can think of many bounty hunters who would kill you right on the spot for betraying them." Boba commented, launching his whipcord around Lionheart and immobilized him. "But I'm not like other bounty hunters. I've got a code of honor and you're going to answer for your crimes." He stated.
"But she'll kill me." Lionheart pointed out before crashing through the window was Bane himself.
"She won't, but I will." Bane stated and drew his pistols on Lionheart.
"No! Please, don't. I love my students! I really do! It's…" Lionheart started before Bane put an end to his ranting with a well-placed blaster bolt to his head.
"Sorry, Lionheart. Salem's got no use for failures." He said as the headmaster fell to floor dead. He turned to Boba and tipped his hat before rocketing away with his boots. "See you around, kid."
Once he was far enough away from Haven, Bane touched down on a building in the city and activated a communicator. "It's done. Lionheart's dead. I've got business to attend to on another planet, so I'll be in touch with you if you need anything else, ma'am." He reported before he rocketed towards his ship and left the planet.
Back at Haven, Ruby and her friends started to feel exhausted as they continued to hold off their opponents. "That's enough! Just give up." Ruby demanded.
Mercury snarled in frustration, slamming his fist into the ground while Emerald shouted back at Ruby. "It's not over! Cinder will come back, she'll have the relic, and she'll stop all of you! She won't let us down."
Everyone stared as the platform to the vault was heard coming back up. Stepping off the platform was Ray, Ahsoka, Galen and Yang who had the relic in her hand. Ruby and her friends smiled but Emerald was surprised to see that Cinder wasn't with them.
"If you're looking for your bitch of a boss, she's lost her head and dead." Ray said. Tears streamed down Emerald's eyes before she fell to her knees and began to sob while Yang smiled at her friends and shared a brief glance at Blake.
"Emerald, we need to go." Mercury told his partner, but Emerald shook her head and remained stationary. Her breathing started to become frantic as she held her head and let out a loud scream, activating her semblance. The room suddenly turned dark as black smoke rose from the ground nearby. From it, a giant effigy of Salem appeared, its limbs bent and deformed as it towered above everyone. The giant Salem opened her eyes and let out an ear-piercing scream as it swooped down over everyone. Blinding them long enough for Emerald and Mercury to escape as Ruby shook in fear as she came to terms with what she witnessed.
"What—what was that?" Blake asked.
"Something ugly." Neo said.
"That was an illusion. But an accurate one. That… was Salem." Ozpin answered.
Outside, Mercury ran with an unconscious Emerald over his shoulder while up in the tree branches, Adam watched as his allies run before, he too fled. Maul on the other hand, having sensed the death of Cinder cast a glance towards Adam, sensing much anger and hatred inside of the young Faunus. "Interesting." He mused to himself before following after his allies.
Back at Haven, Blake sighed with relief that the battle was finally over before she heard the sounds of her parents, Sun, Ilia, Sienna, Zett, Rose, Gungi, Katooni, Ryu, Kasumi, Hanzo, Faye, Kara and the clones ran into the great hall. The Belladonna's shared a hug together while Sun looked on. "The police have finished securing the school and routed out the last of the droids. Haven is safe." Kali reported.
"Unfortunately, it appears that Adam escape." Ghira added, causing all three of them to look down.
"It's okay. He was the only one to escape tonight. Those in the White Fang that followed him? Won't support a leader that abandons his people. He won't have their help after this. He'll have no one at all. And the White Fang is divided." Ilia assured the Belladonna's as she walked into the building.
"Ilia's not wrong. A leader who abandons their followers is no leader at all. It's their actions that influence those that follow them. I speak from experience." Sienna added.
"We've been fighting amongst ourselves for too long. Perhaps it's time for a new brotherhood." Ghira said in agreement. Kali also agreed and mentioned about the White Fang needing a new leader. Ghira nodded in agreement with his wife as Sun peeked behind the father of the girl, he had a crush on and waved to his friends from Beacon, wrapping his tail around Blake to force her to turn and see her old friends. Slowly, she nervously walked towards them while Sun and her parents smiled.
Yang walked down the stairs and handed the relic to Qrow who along with Boba had just arrived from Lionhearts office. "What happened?" Qrow asked. Yang explained everything that happened when she arrived in the vault with Galen and Ahsoka confirming that Ray had killed Cinder while Raven fled after she took a beating from daughter and lost an eye. "Well, we're all glad that you're still here, firecracker." Qrow said with relief.
"What happened to Lionheart?" Neo asked.
"Bane killed him shortly after Qrow and I arrived. Seems that Salem didn't want any lose ends." Boba answered.
Suddenly, Ruby groaned and almost fell to her knees until Galen caught her. "You okay?" he asked.
Ruby sighed and said she should be asking the same of her friends. She then turned to Blake and asked her what she was doing at Haven. It appeared that they all had a lot to catch up on but before anyone could speak, Ray doubled over and fell on his back with a thud. "That looked like it hurt, should we call for backup?" Ruby joked.
"He'll be alright. He just overworked himself, again." Neo said with a smirk while Ahsoka walked towards Katooni and Gungi, unable to hold back her joy that two of the younglings she took on their gathering were alive and well.
The members of Team RWBY shared a hug after a long awaited reunion while the members of Team GARM all looked at each other and nodded to each other. "Not to break up the mood or anything but could someone explain this to me." Kara asked and held out her hand, generating a flame from it.
"Wait, does this mean that…" Ruby began.
"… Kara is the new Fall Maiden." Jaune finished.
"Fall what now?" Rose asked in confusion. "What are you guys talking about and what's a Maiden?"
"It's complicated." Faye answered.
Qrow, who was still holding the relic in his hands approached a panting Oscar who asked Ozpin what their next move should be. However, Ozpin was resting after using too much energy fighting but left them with a message that they should bring the lamp to Atlas. Qrow looked to the relic and sighed, knowing that this was going to be a difficult journey for them to undertake, since Atlas had closed their borders.
"I think we should stay in Mistral for a few days." Galen spoke. "After everything that's happened, we should make sure the city is safe from any other surprises." The others agreed, since they weren't in any position to go anywhere.
Three days later, the Rogue Shadow landed on the outskirts of Mistral. Confused by the sudden appearance of his ship, Galen, Ruby, Jaune and Cody went to ask Proxy about the situation when the droid informed them that Senator Organa needed them to rendezvous with the Tantive IV over Tatooine and bring an old Jedi to help them with the rebellion.
"Looks like you might be seeing Pyrrha again real soon, Jaune." Galen said to the blonde knight as he powered up his ship and ascended into space before making the jump to lightspeed.
And with that, Volume 5 is now complete.
Let's review what has happened.
Adam fled from Haven when his plan to destroy the school failed.
Yang fought against Raven and gave her a real beatdown, for obvious reasons.
Lionheart was killed by Cad Bane and has left Remnant for the time being.
And Kara is the new Fall Maiden. It appears that Cinder was planning to kill her first and since the powers are transferred to the last person in the former Maiden's thoughts, they went to her. Up next, it's the first film of the series. Remember if you want to see something specific in movie chapters, leave them in a review or PM me about them. Oh, and for those of you who like Family Guy, don't even think about mentioning those stupid Star Wars Parodies they did. Peter as Han, Chris as Luke, Herbert as Obi-Wan, Stewie as Vader, that chicken as Boba and all those other characters recast as Star Wars characters, LAME!
Until next time, read and review. Oh, and a late happy birthday to Frank Welker, the man who brought us the iconic voice of Megatron.
