Arizona's POV
To say I was nervous was an understatement, today I had an important surgery for the mayor's wife and son and I had to perform it with a woman I despised. Callie crept behind me wrapping her arms around my waist pulling me closer. Arizona I know you´re nervous but you need to relax, I trust you and although I wish I could break her face I won't have to you are so much stronger now, we are so much stronger now. Now go be a rockstar. Turning and facing my girlfriend I smiled and began walking to the OR.
After about 6 hours of surgery I can say I kicked ass, both mother and child are perfectly healthy, I didnt have to speak to bitchwell too often, and like all huge surgeries I know for a fact that Callie and I were going to celebrate in our own special way. Bitchwell went to tell the mayor that we were successful with the procedure. Speaking of Callie, I just got a text that read ´meet me in my office when you're done´ My stump felt swollen due to the excessive standing so I hoped the celebration involved one of her most famous massages.
Making my way up to the ortho floor the nurses hushed as soon as I arrived, I just assumed that they were still shocked at the fact that Calliope and I were back together. Making my way to her door not even bothering to not I barged right in not knowing that I would be the one receiving a surprise.
Callieś POV
I was proud, My girlfriend, the love of my life, the mother of my child, just kicked ass at another career breaking surgery. It pissed me off to see boswell constantly try and make conversation with my woman, but it was even more amusing watching Arizona constantly glare at her anytime she opened her mouth. I returned to my office quickly deciding to tease Arizona with her congratulations gift. I may have gotten ahead of myself, I bought roses, dinner and a little sexy number for Arizona the day before her surgery, but what can I say I knew she'd rock it.
I still have a few surgeries planned for the day or I would have taken this celebration home, but seeing her so in control of boswell, of the OR I was too eager to wait. Changing into a sexy piece of clothing I texted Arizona to meet me in my office. Feeling giddy inside due to her accomplishments I could hardly wait to get my hands on her, even if the time was brief.
5 minutes later a soft knock on my door alerted me that she was here. Come in I said and the door opened and the last person I expected was here. Penny what are you doing here I quickly asked, realizing the attire I was in I got dressed quickly. She walked up to me with her mascara running, I´ve missed you Calliope, come home I forgive you we can be together forever I love you so much.
