Chapter 2: Snake Escape

"Snake, it is time for your duel. Come down to the main room." Snake awoke from his sleep. He grabbed his revolver and loaded it. He put it in his pocket. He walked out of his cabin. When he got to the main room he saw two teleporters.

He stepped inside the long tube. A blue aurora surrounded him. He was teleported to an odd penthouse building. He looked ahead of him and saw Sam Fisher. Ohh, that's just great. Sam drew a high class machine gun. Snake dived to the right, crashing through a glass door.

He looked around in a bathroom. He flicked off the lights. He grabbed a can of oil from his pack. He dumped it on the ground, spilling the contents. He got into the vent nearby. He took out his revolver and blasted the oil. He put on his camouflage he had gotten from The Fury.

He waited for Sam. When the door opened, Snake dived across the fire. He thought he would tackle Sam, but he didn't. He hit the wall outside the room. He saw Sam standing over him. Snake shot Sam in the leg, making him fall.

Sam and Snake stood up. Snake grabbed Sam's gun. Sam, however, grabbed it back. Snake had his revolver mounted on his shoulder. He fired it, shooting Sam in the chest. Sam landed in his own blood. Snake fired two extra shots into Sam to make sure.

He was teleported in the main room. He saw a girl who was crying. Sam guessed she was in her teen years. He then realized what he had done. Sam was her father. He walked silently back to his cabin. He hadn't felt a sadness such as this since he killed The Boss. He cried himself to sleep.
