"Who are you" Jason asked surprised at the new arrival

"Could ask you the same question, I suggest that you give Jessica back her tablet yeah" the new arrival said not giving anything away as she twisted his arm putting slightly more pressure on it

"Jess" Eric said cautiously, Jess had not flinched at the new arrival in her room, Eric suspected that the two women at least knew each other

"Minute he gives me back the tablet she'll let him go" Jess said explaining the situation

"Here, I suggest Jase, next time give her back her tablet when she asks for it brother" Ray said taking the tablet from Jason's other hand and handing it back to Jess

"There, that wasn't so hard was it, Jessica, how are you feeling" the new arrival said immediately releasing Jason from her grasp as soon as Jess had her tablet back, now switching her attention to Jess and embracing her

"I've had better days Tali, you must be busy" Jess said returning the affection Tali had displayed

"Uncle Tavi has been able to spare me for a few hours from babysitting detail, so here I am" Tali said with a small chuckle explaining her presence in the US

"They suck the worst" Jess said in response to her friends remark about being on babysitting duty, normally Jess got stuck with high ranking officials from the US government, Tali on the other hand, her babysitting duties usually were confined to high ranking members of Mossad like her uncle

"Tell me about it, but this one isn't to bad" Tali said laughing

"You're on babysitting duties, who's visiting" Clay asked curiously

"Clay, you're familiar with the saying don't ask stupid questions" Jess asked looking at him curiously but also slightly amused at his ignorance

"What's so silly about that" Clay asked not realising the seriousness of the question he had asked

"We're of duty Spenser, and Tali here isn't able to tell us who's visiting" Eric said to Clay, they were out of the loop on the need to know stuff, and a Mossad agent on babysitting duty in the area was definitely a need to know

"There's also the I could tell you, but then I'd have to shoot you yes" Tali said with the smile still on her face

"She'd do it to Blondzilla, I can see it in her eyes, she's the special breed of crazy, so how do you know Bookworm" Sonny said looking at Tali, curious at the new arrival and her connection with their little sister

"Bookworm" Tali asked confused looking at Jess

"Because I read a lot" Jess said explaining the reason for Sonny's nickname

"And she's super smart" Brock chimed in

"Huh, cute, a nickname yes" Tali said realising the connection

"Sure is, English isn't your first language I'm guessing, besides Hebrew obviously" Trent said now keen to talk to the new arrival

"What makes you say that" Tali asked curiously

"You hesitate slightly in your pronunciation, mix your words slightly" Jason said pointing out a few things Jess had mentioned previously when analysing different videos of people speaking

"You're very observant, why I don't have Jessica's range, I actually speak 9 including English and Hebrew" Tali said confirming that she did speak multiple languages

"Okay let's try and work this out" Sonny said keen for the challenge of trying to identify what languages Tali spoke

"Work what out" Tali asked curiously

"What languages you speak based on your accent" Luca said now entering the conversation

"Sonny has lots of experience with working out where women come from based on their accent, or so he likes to think" Ray added laughing at Sonny's so called talent

"He frequents the gentlemen's venues that have the buffet's" Tali asked sizing up the Texan

"Nightly" the rest of the team said in unison

"I hate to tell you this, but women lie with their accent to get a bigger tip from unsuspecting patrons who are to dumb to realise they're being manipulated" Tali said laughing at the whole notion of someone like Sonny being able to identify a woman's origin based on her accent, he was clearly more brawn then brains

"Told you Sonny" Jess said smiling at him

"How do you know they're only manipulating men" Sonny asked curiously

"You think in my line of work, I haven't had to take on multiple undercovers" Tali said looking straight at him

"You've worked as a stripper" Sonny asked now extremely interested in Tali

"If I told you, it wouldn't be an undercover now would it" Tali said laughing at how confused the Texan looked

"We'll just leave it to your imagination Sonny" Jess said knowing that her friend would never confirm whether she'd been undercover somewhere to her, let alone a person she'd never met

X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X

"Well Jessica, you ready for this, 24 hours then you're all finished" Doctor Masterson said as he hung the last IV bag containing the drug that Jess was receiving for the 7 consecutive days to kill of the leukaemia cells in her body, it had been a long and agonising 6 days of treatment as the poison was working it's way through her body, it was basically what half the drugs were that was used in chemotherapy, poison that damaged her cells so they died, unfortunately they weren't necessarily careful about what cells were damaged in the process, not like targeted drugs, they were more precise which was why they'd frequent regularly in the maintenance therapy over the traditional chemotherapy medication

"Yay me, any chance you can let me out early for good behaviour" Jess asked hopefully, eager to get home to her own bed, which meant Luca would be more comfortable, not sleeping in plastic chairs beside her every night, or at least trying to, Jess could tell it was taking its toll on his body this time around, she'd hear him get up and walk around the room to try and ease the pain in his back, or she'd hear him popping some medication when he thought she was asleep, he never said anything to her about how bad it had gotten, but she knew he was in a lot more pain on a daily basis, compared to 3 months ago, and Zah had her swimming competition coming up, Jess needed to be out of there

"As long as you don't have any complications from the treatment, you're willing to leave here with the drains and nephrostomy tubes still in place and have Doctor Shah remove them when they're ready to come out, and you understand that your results from this round of treatment may not be available before you leave" Doctor Masterson said smiling at her, he could tell how badly she wanted out, she'd been in hospital for 17 days straight, a near impossible feat for most doctors to achieve when dealing with a tier 1 operator, hardly the longest she'd been in hospital under his care, but he had learnt that forcing her to stay put when she was ready to get out led to her entering a dark place in her mind, which was the last thing she needed right now

"That's fine by me" Jess said eager to agree to anything, as long as she could get a target to when she could get out of this place

"Right well then I'd say 48 hours and you'll be free, you finish up the chemotherapy, then you have the PET scan, bone marrow biopsy and blood test performed then you're free" Doctor Masterson said giving Jess the answer she'd been waiting to hear, 48 hours and she could leave and go home to sleep in her own bed again

"You want her on bed rest at home" Trent asked looking at the doctor

"I don't think that's necessary providing that Jessica listens to what her body is telling her, she'll be fine" Doctor Masterson said to the team medic he worked closely with these last 12 months or so, Trent's dedication to his job, was a big part of what allowed Jess to return to active duty despite her medical issues, and not see her confined to a desk

"Rest when needed, don't skimp on medication when it's required, small frequent meals, plenty of fluids, easy on the physical activity, keep warm and dry" Luca said quoting everything that Doctor Masterson would be expecting Jess to do at home when she was discharged

"Shouldn't her drains be out by now" Jason asked concerned about the fact that Jess still had surgical drains in her body

"Leukaemia can slow down the body's wound healing process, purely because the blood isn't healthy, so it may be a little bit longer for things to heal up completely" Doctor Masterson said to the master chief, explaining the reason for the slow healing process

"And the pain to stop" Jess said not realising she'd said what she'd been thinking, the drains made it more uncomfortable for her to sleep, and we're starting to feel annoying

"Jessica, you haven't mentioned anything about being in pain" Doctor Masterson said suddenly focused on the revelation that Jess was experiencing pain so long after surgery

"Because the pain is exactly the same as the other one I get, get it, it's not real" Jess explained frustrated that she'd even mentioned it as now she was getting looks from everyone in the room

"Something that you care to explain, how can the pain not be real" Eric asked curious and concerned that Jess hadn't mentioned the pain the whole time they'd been there

"Because it's what we call phantom pain, which is very much real Jessica, we've talked about it" Doctor Masterson quickly explained to the commanding officer before turning his focus back to his patient, Jess had started experiencing the pains during her recovery from her surgery that removed the tumour in her pelvic area

"Isn't that from where people loose limbs" Jason asked looking straight at the doctor

"Technically it can be caused by the loss of any body part, internal or external, in Jessica's case the nerves are trying to rewire and make sense of the loss in signals, her brain is relying on muscle memory to compensate" Doctor Masterson said trying to explain how it worked, Jess would still experience the sensation that things were still there and working, due to her brain trying to work out why the signals it was receiving weren't the same as they used to be, and the more Jess tried to reason with herself that the pain wasn't there, the more intense and frustrating it would get, feelings of needing to go and empty her bowels as it was pushing to come out, despite having no functioning rectum or anus, buy yet it felt like they were still there, a stinging sensation that felt like she was urinating or aroused, yet there was nothing there to urinate through or relieve herself, as she said, frustrating which could become painful quite easily

"Can you stop it from happening" Ray asked the doctor

"We've been trying cognitive behavioral therapy, which is standard first line of treatment in this case as the body adapts as it's a case of her brain trying to process" Doctor Masterson said suddenly interrupted by the sound of Jess throwing her guts up

"Get it up cuddle bug, there we go" Luca said holding the bag in a position so it caught the contents of Jess's stomach that was being rudely evicted by her body before it had a chance to be digested and absorbed into her bowels

"There's got to be other options" Clay said looking at the doctor for answers

"It depends, there's medication" Doctor Masterson said before being interrupted again by Jess

"No pills, on enough already" Jess said firmly, knowing that if she didn't say anything then, certain members of Bravo would try to pressure her into taking them, but if she said no with doctor Masterson present alongside Luca and Trent, they'd respect her decision not to follow that route

"Which obviously Jessica doesn't want to consider as she'd need them daily and can have severe side effects which could affect her ability to operate, there is another option which is radio frequency ablation, but we need to identify the nerves that are causing the pain beforehand, and there's still no guarantee that the procedure would eliminate the pain, or that the nerves required to be severed are not responsible for a critical function" Doctor Masterson said explaining the reason why Jess was not willing to accept the medication route, she was okay with taking medication occasionally or for short periods of time, but not daily and long term, the other option was still available, but it was not guaranteed to work, and would take time to work, though it was also a permanent solution, and there would be sensory loss most likely as they'd be looking at the nerves involved with her spinal cord for the pain in her pelvic area, sever the nerves to high, Jess would be at risk of loosing sensation in part of her legs, and as far as her chest area, the wrong nerves cut could carry a small risk of affecting her chests ability to expand and contract properly, which was why they had to proceed carefully with this option

"Okay, so it's finding the perfect balance, how long will the assessment take" Jason asked the doctor

"Jason, this is Jessica's decision to make and not yours or anyone elses, if she chooses to proceed down this path then she needs to speak to Doctor Carmichael about it, not me" Doctor Masterson said firmly, he'd spoken to the doctor at length to discuss the procedure, now the decision was Jess's if she was going to pursue the permanent solution, as it was usually reserved for extreme cases and usually not offered until all other options had been explored for at least 12 months, only very rarely it was done this early

"Who the blazes is Doctor Carmichael" Jason asked suddenly annoyed at the mention of another doctor being involved in Jess's medical treatment that he didn't know about

"He's a chronic pain management specialist, he's been seeing both Jess and Luca, he's on the level and knows what's at stake" Trent said explaining the connection between them

"Why are you seeing him" Jason demanded suddenly turning to Luca annoyed at the knowledge that there had been another doctor involved that he was unaware of and that he'd obviously not been doing there job if Jess was living with chronic pain and not told them about it

"You magically forgot about me breaking my back all those years ago, nearly ending up in the chair, it being why I gave up being a clearance diver, and why I've officially retired from the Royal Australian Navy" Luca said annoyed at the hostility Jason was displaying but also realising that it was being displayed out of frustration of not knowing what was happening, and that there was no easy fix here

"You told Blackburn about the pain being part of you retiring, not them" Jess said explaining to Luca that the rest of Bravo were most likely in the dark about how extensive the damage had been, as he'd been speaking to Luca on his own prior to the rest of them turning up to the plane that night in Denpasar

"Sorry, didn't realise you didn't know" Luca said apologizing slightly over the situation, Bravo had known that he'd broken his back, and that he'd left the clearance diver program because of it, but Luca had never discussed the specific details about the damage that was there

"How bad's the damage" Trent asked curiously, he'd suspected that it was obviously not a normal break, his few conversations with Metal basically confirmed it, a fracture normally takes 6-12 weeks to heal, Luca was on the medically inactive list for nearly 2 years before going to the NPC school to retrain, that was enough to tell him it was either not a normal break, or Luca had been through a complicated recovery, or possibly both

"Couple of herniated discs, 4 vertebrae are showing signs of degeneration around the old fracture site" Luca said, Jason realised now the reason behind Luca appearing to be in pain a lot more this last week, he wasn't just appearing to be in pain, he was in a lot of pain

"Can they fix it" he asked looking at Luca, he knew people had spinal fusion surgery and stuff like that

"Damage is to severe for conventional methods, Doctor Carmichael is waiting to hear from a couple of specialists in regenerative therapy, see if they can do anything, feel better" Luca said shaking his head softly as he quickly grabbed a spare emesis bag as Jess started vomiting again while he rubbed her back to try and soothe her as best he could while it finished, he'd put the procedure of for to long, he wanted to finish his tour, then he wanted to move to the US, then Zalie had been sick so he decided to put it of again till she was better, then it was Jess's cancer and the wedding, now the damage was permanent and not fixable, not that the fusion would have been a practical long term solution anyway due to the location, the original fracture was in his T6 and T7 vertebrae, the degeneration was in the 2 vertebrae, plus the bottom of his T5 and top of the T8 were now displaying structural changes, no doctor would touch him for a surgical procedure

"Not really" Jess said as she laid her head back down on the pillow feeling all hot and clammy from the effort

"So at the moment it's a waiting game" Brock asked looking at him, he'd also suspected that Luca was in pain at times but when he'd asked Laura about it she wouldn't say anything, it was probably normal for her to see her older brother dealing with back pain, so she didn't realise it was different

"Exactly" Luca said looking at the group

X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X

"A few more steps and you can lay back down cuddle bug" Luca said as he helped Jess walk across their bedroom floor towards the bed they shared together, true to his word, Doctor Masterson had discharged Jess precisely 48 hours after he'd hung that last IV, it was late afternoon by time Jess had received the all clear to leave, and there'd been some debate about them possibly staying in the hotel and travelling back the next morning to Virginia Beach, but Luca quickly dismissed the idea, he knew that his wife wanted her own bed and was exhausted from her stay, so he was determined to get her home to her bed, no matter how late in the day it was, it was dark outside but that suited Luca as it would help encourage Jess back into her sleep wake cycle that hospital stays forced her out of

"I can't believe that you've had a lift put in" Jess said surprised at the recent addition to the house she'd found when they'd gotten home, Luca hadn't mentioned anything about it to her why she was in hospital, it went from the bottom floor of their house which had the lounge and kitchen facilities and entertaining area, stopping at the second floor which had the bedrooms, then going up to the third floor, which was their private living area, save the 2 flights of stairs they normally had to traverse to get from the main living area to their bedroom

"Well your parents and I discussed it, and we thought that with the issues with my back, your health and Zah's health it would be easier for everyone, and it will eliminate the risk of hurting my back carrying medical supplies up and down the stairs, a box of TPN or fluids is quite heavy at times" Luca said with his warm soothing smile explaining the practical reason for the addition, Jess's current energy levels, she'd probably have to settle for the foldout downstairs to rest on if she was home alone, there was no way she'd manage the 2 flights of stairs safely, she was greatful for the addition

"I know they are, how did you get on with booking our flights to meet the new pup" Jess said as she sunk into her bed, it felt so good as she moved onto her side, so she could get comfortable as Luca began hooking up the IV bags containing the fluids and feed to the pole attached behind the bed so they were out of the way but still easily accessible

"They're booked for next week, Brock is coming with us and bringing Pepper as well so he can do a behavioral assessment, it's just before they're due to finish leave" Luca said as he finished hooking up the different devices, Jess quickly began to make herself comfortable under the duvet, Alie had already layed everything out that Jess and Luca would need for the first 24 hours at home earlier that evening, drawn the curtains and blinds, dimmed the lights and adjusted the air conditioning, she'd also adjusted the bed as it had a heat and massage function so it was warming up, this way they could both stay put tomorrow and relax without having to worry about different things, they could take their time and go at their own pace

"We should take Laura with us as well, as an engagement present for her and Brock, book them a hotel for the night" Jess said quite content and relaxed in her current state

"You want me to organise it tomorrow, Laura's been working so hard lately" Luca said now getting himself ready to turn in for the evening

"They deserve a treat after delaying the announcement, and she's probably going to want to switch of and forget work after this current rescue, photos of the place look pretty bad" Jess said as she watched Luca get changed and pop some more pills and her laxatives to help relieve the pain in his back, the laxatives were because the pain medication had an unfortunate side effect of severe constipation as they were opioid based, Jess suddenly realised how bad the pain was, a one of dose occasionally didn't have much affect on Luca's bowels, the fact that he'd taken her laxatives, which were to clear out possible bowel obstructions quickly, and not your standard OTC medication, Luca had probably been taking the medication consistently over the last week at the minimum, probably longer

"She's tough, she can get through evacuating that property, but you're right, she's going to need a break once everything is settled" Luca said as he walked over to the bed and hopped in, pulling himself in nice and close to his wife, he'd seen the state his little sister would come home in after going to help at the rural properties during the Australian bushfire season, she'd be an absolute wreck and emotionally exhausted from it, dealing with hundreds of injured animals, in horrific conditions and emotional owners who'd lost their livelihoods, she was only so tough at times, and there were times she had to push herself beyond that point because her services were needed, Luca had started forcing her to take a mandatory break from work as soon as the crisis had died down, as he knew he couldn't stop her from going to help, it was who she was, just the same as he and Jess and the others couldn't change who they were

X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X

"Brock, Laura looking forward to tonight" Jason asked as they were in the team room packing up from the day of training, Eric felt that the boys could deal with letting of some steam now Jess was out of hospital

"No, she's gone with Tahlia and other members of the rescue to help with a large scale rescue mission in Culpeper county, horse property was foreclosed on, owner killed themself, left over 400 horses on the property with very little food and water, property has now been sold, new owners have given the rescues 3 days to evacuate all the horses before they call the kill buyers in to do it" Brock said explaining the situation to the team, Laura had received a call last night as she was on her way back from Brad's training facility with Brock, he'd watched her train Bailey and Donovan for a bit

"They must realise that it's going to be difficult to get them all off in time" Sonny said trying to do the calculations in his head, rounding up over 400 horses, potentially un-handled for a fair while, it would be a tall order

"They know, they've got other rescues en route to help get the job done" Brock said, he'd been eager to go out and help in some way, but Laura had told him not to come, it was pretty bad, Laura had told him that a few horses wouldn't make it of the property judging by the photos she'd been sent from Tahlia, she'd be choosing who lived and who didn't, tough decisions, she wouldn't be leaving any of the horses to suffer the fate of a meat truck ride to Mexico, but also had to consider space on the trailers, the ability to shelter them, the rehabilitation process, not every rescue would be willing to accept horses if there were health issues, and they probably wouldn't know for a few days at least, she couldn't afford to let her emotions get in the way, or have Brock see her potentially making the wrong call, euthanizing a horse who could possibly be saved, but there's no room to take them along to safety with the others, or the trauma of separating stallions from their mares and foals, they weren't going to have time to be gentle, if they identified a family, they'd try to get them to the same rescue, but it wouldn't always be possible

"So the barbeque that you had organised for tonight" Clay asked curiously

"We've had to postpone it till she's back" Brock said, they'd organised this barbecue a few weeks ago to happen before Bravo went back on rotation, Laura had that trip to that other rescue in Tennessee to help out, Zalie had her swimming competition, their nights to host the barbeque were already limited, this was just another delay to deal with, they'd get it done

"You sound disappointed" Trent said sensing the disappointment in his voice

"A little perhaps, but that's also who she is, I have to respect that" Brock said, being with Laura gave him an insight into what life was for the partners of tier one operators at times, dropping everything to go and help whenever she's needed

"She saves the lives of gods creatures that we can't" Ray said looking at Brock

"Exactly, and she's done large scale evacuations under pressure off farms back in Australia during bushfire season, so her experience is needed not just as a vet" Brock said looking at his brothers

"They want her overseeing the thing, why isn't Tahlia running things" Clay asked curiously

"Tahlia's background experience is animal cruelty, she's never done anything of this magnitude with farm animals under pressure" Brock said to his younger brother, he'd asked Laura the same question this morning when he heard Laura talking about the logistic support they'd need to pull this off

"Her friend gone to help, what's his name who has the stables, where she has her horses" Sonny asked concerned, he knew that they'd need some decent handlers out there, he doubted Tahlia's volunteers could handle horses that were really scared or frightened under pressure, they'd need real experienced farmhands

"Brad, yeah he's gone, so's his husband Rylan, and Brad's family are visiting from Australia, so his younger brother Conner, and his sister's Anna and Pia, and his dad Edmund have gone along to help, they were training for some extravaganza shows they're running over here" Brock said to Sonny

"Wait, they're all horse riders" Trent asked surprised

"Kinda a family legacy, think Brad, Conner, Anna and Pia are 5th generation horseman from the Australian outback, their father started the Kirkman Elite Horsemanship brand, Brad handles the US and Canadian part of the business, Conner does the Australian side and Anna and Pia are still learning the ropes, they have performance teams over here and back in Australia" Brock said explaining the set-up that Brad had with his family

"Isn't that expensive, flying back and forth" Ray asked curiously, he hadn't realised that Brad was such a big deal in the horse world, he knew he was a professional trainer but that was all

"No, we have a bigger population of horse owners then Australia, by time they include the cost of freighting the horses from Australia, housing, and compare it with the ability to book jobs in the entertainment and media industry and the fact we've got bigger prize pools in horse competitions" Brock said, he'd asked the same questions to Laura when he found out how big Brad's horse empire was

"So we are still gate crashing Bookworm and Luca's house tonight for tea" Sonny asked satisfied with the knowledge that at least Laura had some experienced horse handlers out there helping

"Don't see why not, I'll check with Luca, make sure they're up for visitors" Brock said pulling out his phone to check in with Luca, see if it was okay for the team to

X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X

"Well Alie, you've outdone yourself as per usual" Eric said as the team walked into the kitchen, Alie had the bench loaded with food, it was decided that the planned barbeque would still go ahead, a welcome home party for Jess instead of the one Brock and Laura had planned, the team had come straight from the base, Naima was on her way with the kids after picking up Stella on the way

"You got steaks for us as well" Sonny asked looking over the variety of options on hand, there was a platter of white and a platter of pink fish fillets out that Alie was in the process of seasoning

"They're in the fridge Sonny if you want to start getting them ready for the barbeque, this was Jess's favourite type of fish back in Australia, I just found a farm that breeds it over here, it won't probably be the exact same but at least" Alie said indicating to the fridge, she was content to allow the Texan to season the steaks, fish was not often on the menu at these dinners

"It's easier to digest on her body" Trent said looking the menu options over, the meals usually consisted of pizza, pasta, soup lasagna, there was some pizzas Alie had made up already for the kids in case they didn't like what was on offer

"Exactly, so I thought Jess would appreciate some grilled fish over a piece of steak which will sit heavier in her stomach, then we've got cheesy veggie bake, hollandaise sauce, garlic bread, Mediterranean salad, there's also some salmon, homemade chicken nuggets in the fridge as well as jacket potatoes with toppings" Alie said pointing out the different food options that would be on offer that evening

"You want me to take these out to the grill" Sonny asked pointing to the platters of meat, he'd found the chicken nuggets in the fridge for the kids and pulled them out ready to go

"They're all ready to go, but the potatoes and vegetables will need a head start on the meat Sonny, we'll do them inside, you can do the meat and pizzas when they're ready to go on" Alie said explaining how she planned on dividing up the cooking for the evening

"On it" Sonny said putting the platters back down on the bench, the meat grilled better at room temperature, so it wouldn't hurt to keep it out

"How have they been today" Jason asked pointing towards the stairs

"Pretty quiet, the pair of them, hey" Alie said acknowledging her husband as he entered the kitchen from the vicinity of Zalie's game room, he was either playing a game with Zalie, or using one of the offices

"Something smells good, they made a decision yet" Jay said wrapping his arms around Alie as she started to prepare the toppings for the potatoes

"What decision" Trent asked now curious as to what decision Jess and Luca had to make

"Luca got a call from the specialist they've been waiting to see, they've had a cancellation for tomorrow, but" Jay said explaining the discussion that had been held earlier that day

"Jess has her follow up appointment with Doctor Shah on the base tomorrow" Trent said realising the conundrum Luca was in, Luca couldn't be in two places at once

"He's going to need someone to go with him, Jess it determined to be the one to go with him" said Alie

"She needs to get the drains out, dressings changed, get her results" Trent said, there was no way Jess could attend the appointment with Luca

"Now you see the problem, Luca is not committing to the appointment, because Jess needs to go to her appointment, and Jess is talking about missing her appointment to go with Luca" Alie said frustrated over how stubborn they were both being over the situation

"If Luca doesn't take this appointment, how long before he can get in" Ray asked curiously, he could see how they could become so focused on the present, maybe they needed some help to look at the bigger picture here

"Maybe 2 months to get the tests done to see if he's a candidate for the pain pump and the proper imaging to locate the best injection sites for the stem cell therapy"Jay said, he'd asked Luca the same questions when they'd talked about the appointment earlier

"Luca needs to go to that appointment, and Jess needs to go to hers, Alie, can you go with Luca, Jess trusts you to look after the ones she loves, Jay, can't you go with Jess" Jason asked looking at Jay, he normally dropped everything to work remotely when Jess needed him

"Work is to hectic to take off, meetings all day, I can't get away, I've already looked at my schedule 3 times to see if I can make it work, Jess can come out to the warehouse after the appointment and stay out there till I've finished all my meetings for the day" Jay said looking at them, he wanted to make this work for tomorrow, but there was no way to make it happen

"Right, then we'll take her to the appointment, that's what you said Trent, if neither Luca, Jay or Alie were available, one of us goes with her instead" Brock said looking at Trent for guidance, he simply nodded confirming that that was what he'd said would be done

"What time do you need to leave Alie"

"Luca's appointment is at 1400, we'll need to overnight, if we head of at 0900 we'll get there on time" Alie said glad that there was now some plan in place

"Jess has her appointment at 1030, she can manage fine for an hour on her own, we can come out and get her, take her to the appointment, then drop her out to the warehouse in the afternoon" Trent said explaining what he was thinking the plan could be tomorrow

"That will work, just make sure she's there before 1530, Zah has swim club start at 1600" Jay said confirming that it would work fine with him

"You can get her from school alright" Ray asked concerned for a moment, he knew Alie done a lot of the school runs, but if she was away with Luca, Laura was tied up with this rescue mission, Jay was busy with work, and Jess probably wasn't up to driving yet, considering how fatigued she had been lately

"Bus drops her of at the warehouse, she gets ready out there and one of us takes her to the pool from there if Alie isn't home, so we're fine in that regard" Jay said explaining that Zalie was fine to get to the warehouse

"So just get her to the rendezvous point by 1530, we can manage that" Jason said smiling slightly thinking of it as a mission

X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X
