Chapter Four
Back with Amber, Monalisa, Raphael and Jake, the quartet had arrived at a warehouse where they heard voices within.
Amber gently let Jake down from her arms and she crouched down on the roof and listened carefully.
Monalisa also crouched down and listened whilst Jake and Raphael watched.
"What is it?" Jake asked.
"Trouble, that's what!" Amber replied.
"Agreed!" Monalisa added as she lowered her head and placed her ear to the roof.
"Drug dealing?" Raphael asked.
"Nope!" Amber replied "Exchanging Goods! Stolen goods!"
Jake growled.
"Oh man!" he growled "Goods being stolen from good honest hard-working people, only to have it taken away? Oh, I can't stand it!"
"Calm down Jake!" Raphael patted his brother in law's shoulder "We'll deal with this!"
Amber looked through a small window in the roof and watched.
Within the warehouse she could see several thugs all counting items on a table, many which included iPads, Laptops, mobile phones, as well as designer watches and jewellery.
"How many can you see?" Raphael asked.
"From up here about twelve!" Amber reported.
"Shall we call for back up?" Jake asked as he checked his gun.
"I think we can handle them all!" Monalisa smirked, "I know there's only four of us, but with our combined skills, we'll have these losers down in five minutes!"
Raphael smirked and spun his Sai.
"Music to my ears babe!" he purred.
"Okay guys." Amber said "Here's the plan! We each take an entrance each around the building, then on my count, we burst in and take them by surprise!"
"Got it!" everyone agreed in unison.
"Great!" Amber said, "I'll send a text to your Shell-Cells, and we burst in on that message!"
Monalisa, Raphael and Jake agreed then quickly split up on the roof to look for a way in.
Meanwhile, Jack was leading Sharky, Devina, Pandora and Sonia to where he had smelt trouble.
All held their weapons tightly and ready for when they found what they were looking for.
Pandora licked her lips as she gripped Mr Swinger, and Sonia had her hand on the hilt of her long sword.
Jack kept walking until he came to a wooden cellar door.
"There!" he said "There's dealings going on in there! I can tell!"
"Drugs?" Sharky asked.
"Many!" Jack reported "Meth, heroin, crack…I can identify every poison!"
"Scum!" Pandora growled and Sonia agreed.
Devina placed her head to the doors.
"There's something more disturbing!" she announced, "I can sense young blood in there!"
"You mean kids!?" Sharky shrieked.
"Shush!" Jack hissed loudly.
"Sorry…" the Shark mumbled "I mean, you can sense children in there?!"
Devina nodded.
"I'm afraid so!"
Jack growled.
"Then let's not waste time!" he said as he opened the wooden doors "We go in there and bust the joint!"
"Right behind yeh!" Pandora agreed.
"We all are!" Sonia agreed.
"Just be careful and listen to us, okay?" Devina reminded the two girls.
Pandora and Sonia nodded then followed the vampire/werewolf hybrid, Wolf and Shark into the basement where they could hear talking as well as smell something foul in the air.
"The little piggies won't know what hit them!" Jack muttered "I'll huff, and I'll puff and I'll blow their house down!"
As they descended the dark stairs, Jack led the way, then as he turned a corner he almost jumped out of his skin when he came face to face with a young man dressed in street clothes and smelling heavily of cigarette smoke.
The man was alarmed but he didn't get a chance to cry out before Jack punched him hard in the face and knocked him out cold then grabbed him before he fell.
"Good hit there!" Devina complimented as Jack gently lowered the man on the stairs as well as used a bandana that was around his neck to bind his hands and he stuffed the beanie he wore into his mouth.
"That'll hold him for a while!" Jack smirked then continued to lead his comrades down further into the basement.
Pandora smirked at the downed thug as well as wrinkled her nose at the smell and gripped Mr Swinger tighter.
Before long they made it to the basement where they saw several dealers, all exchanging drugs, and they also saw a couple of young boys, no older than twelve also in the den.
Sharky's blood boiled as he looked.
"The dirty shits!" he snarled "Not only are they exchanging and dealing drugs, but they've also dragged young kids in the mix too!"
"I wonder if they're the kids of the addicts here?" Jack mused.
"Who fucking cares Sarge?" Sharky snapped "Let's just mince them!"
"Totally Shark man!" Pandora nudged Sharky who winked at her.
"Alright! Alright!" Jack snapped "We'll do so, just follow my lead! And don't harm the kids okay?"
"Got it!" everyone agreed in unison.
"Three…. Two …" Jack counted "NOW!" he shouted, and he leapt out from the staircase and howled.
The drug dealers as soon as they heard Jack turned and they shouted and yelled in alarm.
"Surprise fuckers!" the wolf barked.
"What the hell!?" shouted one.
"This is part of the hallucination?" another asked.
"You wish!" Pandora smirked as she stepped up to stand next to Jack.
One man, one in his late thirties and wearing clown make up glared.
"I know about you! You're the freaks who are always poking your noses it where they don't belong!"
Jack snarled.
"Ah so we're well known, eh? Nice!" he crouched and held up his scimitar.
"Don't just stand there!" the clown shouted to his colleagues "Get them!"
At once the other dealers and addicts jumped up despite being under the influence.
Sharky licked his lips and smirked.
"This'll be easy!"
Pandora swung her weapon and glowered at her opponents.
"Say hello to Mr Swinger douchebags!" she spat.
Meanwhile, Amber, Jake, Monalisa and Raphael had found the entrances to the warehouse and were ready to begin their attack.
They had waited until Amber gave the word and as soon as she did, they burst in weapons drawn and the thugs within were surprised and shocked.
"Holy shit!"
"It's the freaks!"
"Scatter!"
Monalisa and Raphael, both excited to feel the adrenaline for bloodlust and action were more than happy to start fighting and used their skills to take down all that attacked them.
Amber too followed their lead, yet she lead back on killing as via the rules her brother had set, only kill if needed, but only maim so they were alive and the police found them to bring them to justice for their crimes.
Jake meanwhile decided to keep his gun in his holster and use his fists and feet to fight as he had been taught to do so.
He had learnt many fighting styles, not just from Tyroth and the Chicago Knights but from Monalisa too.
He managed to keep the thugs who came at him at bay for a while, but then a fist came out of nowhere and collided with Jake's face, knocking his glasses off!
"Oh crap!" Jake grunted as he stumbled to the ground.
"Jake!" Amber cried in concern, but she couldn't help as she was faced with three different thugs.
Monalisa and Raphael also saw Jake go down, but they too were surrounded by thugs and couldn't get close to Jake to help.
"Jake!" Monalisa screamed and tried to get past the thugs she was fighting but it was impossible.
Jake shook off stars and blinked as he tried to look for his glasses but that was difficult as he could just make out two thugs about to rein blows down on him!
Taking a breath, Jake thought back to his training and he closed his eyes and focused on listening very hard.
He then fell on his back and kicked out throwing the first thug back then stood up and failed his arms knocking the other back.
He then stood up and still keeping his eyes closed listened carefully and he sensed the thug still standing coming for him, and he threw a punch, and he felt his fist collide with something followed by a grunt then a thump.
"Anyone else want a go?" Jake screamed as he threw his legs and feet about blindly.
"Whoa!" Amber cried as she watched then she blocked a few blows from the thugs and was able to use her tail to knock them back so she could go over as assist, although Jake despite fighting blindly, he seemed to be doing very well!
Monalisa and Raphael also observed as they fought their own opponents.
"Jake?" Monalisa breathed as she slashed a thug down with her fan and kicked another back.
She could hardly believe what she was seeing, even though she knew Jake had been training hard she never knew he was able to fight the way he was doing now.
Before long, Jake kicked the last thug back, then stood up and he casually reached into his pocket and opened another glasses case revealing his spare glasses and put them on.
As he did so, he saw Amber, Raphael and Monalisa standing before him looking rather amazed.
"Ah that's better!" Jake chuckled then he saw Amber, Raphael and Monalisa's faces.
"Are you alright?"
Amber said nothing but continued to stare at Jake and Monalisa and Raphael also remained silent.
Then finally Amber spoke.
"Wow Jake! How did you manage that? You had your glasses knocked off and you then beat those losers to a pulp!"
Jake looked at the thugs on the ground then knelt to root through their pockets for cash as well as pick up his other glasses which were now cracked and beyond repair.
"Looks like I need another spare pair again." He sighed then looked up at Amber.
"I don't know." He said "Actually, I lie, I do, I've been having lessons from Tyroth, Master Splinter and Leonardo on how to focus and use my other senses to fight rather than rely on my eyes."
"What!?" Raphael and Monalisa replied in unison
"Leo, Sensei and Tyroth have been training you in secret?" Monalisa cried.
Jake nodded.
"How long?" Raphael asked.
"For a while!" Jake replied causally.
"Wow!" Monalisa cried impressed "I'm like…so amazed!"
'Likewise!" Amber agreed then looked at the bodies of the unconscious thugs "Quick! We better get these idiots tied up then alert the police!"
"On it!" Raphael agreed then turned to Jake and nodded with a proud smile at him.
"You're a true wonder kid! And a great learner!"
Jake just smiled proudly as well as blushed.
So the action has started, Jack, Devina, Sharky, Pandora and Sonia are about to begin their fight, yet Amber, Raphael, Monalisa and Jake have fought theirs and Jake had displayed new skils that have surprised everyone!
