He is three years old and is about to start Pre-k.

Roy: Todd are you ready, yet?

Todd: Almost...

Maes: Where is his school shirt, Roy?

Roy: Top draw on the left. Todd, what do you want for breakfast?

Todd: Alchemist O's please!

Roy: You two better hurry up!

Todd comes down the stairs with Maes behind him.

Roy: Hurry up and eat the bus will be here any minute!

Todd: I'm done!

Maes: Come on, we'll wait by the door.

Todd: Bye mommy!

Roy: Bye!

Todd gets to school and it is time for arts and crafts.

Mrs. Rockbell: Okay, class I want all fo you to draw a picture of you with your mommy and daddy! (Walks over to Todd to see his picture of Roy and Maes standing together with him)

Very nice Todd but who's that man over here? (Points to Maes)

Todd: That's my daddy.

Mrs. Rockbell: And who is this other man? (Points to Roy)

Todd: That's my mommy...I know they are both boys but mommy and daddy say that it is complicated.

Mrs. Rockbell: Oh okay. Nice job (Walks away)

Another boy named Ed walks up to Todd and says...

Ed: So your mommy and daddy are gay?

Todd: What does "gay" mean?

Ed: Never mind.

Todd gets home and sees Roy and Maes on the couch watching T.V.

Roy: Hey Todd, how was your first day?

Todd: Great! But some boy named Ed asked me if you were "gay"...what does that mean?

Roy: Maes, you explain...

Maes: Ummm, well...you see...its sort of... lets see, how to explain...well, when one man like another man instead of a woman, they are considered gay.

Todd: Ohhh so you are gay?

Roy + Maes: Ya, sure, I guess so.

Todd: Ohhh okay thank you! ( Runs outside and screams to Ed) Hey Ed, you were right, they are gay!
