For once, This has totally nothing to do with AsuCaga, this is a fic on Cagalli as she remembers of her father, Uzumi Nara Athha. I wrote this because he is one of the characters I respect most. He truly is a great man ne:DD

I walked along the beach on the soft pristine sand as Anna bounded on playfully ahead. With sparkling emerald eyes and long blue hair which reached her knees, Anna's resemblance with her father was uncanny. She took after me in terms of personality, Strong willed and stubborn, she dreamt to be a politician just like both her parents. I too, had changed quite a bit, six years after the final battle in space, I am now happily married to Athrun and had a lovable daughter, who took my nickname, Princess of ORB. My hair now reached my shoulders, which I tied back neatly in a ponytail. Life just couldn't get better.

"Mother, have you been to this beach before?" Anna inquired, her emerald eyes sparkling with curiosity.

"I believe this is my third time." I said to her, as my thoughts drifted off to my previous visits.

Uzumi Nara Athha, current leader of ORB was an extremely busy man, on one of the few rare occasions, he diced to bring me to the beach. After a long walk, then eight year old Cagalli turned around and exclaimed. "Look Father! Footprints!" There were clearly two sets of footprints. His feet seemed so big compared to mine then. "

"Look Cagalli, there will be a time when I can no longer walk beside you any more, but when that happens, remember, you will not be alone for I will always be walking with you here." He put his big hands on his heart.

The second visit to the beach was a terrible one. "Father! I cried to the sea ,"Where are you? Why are you no longer here? I can't see your footprints anymore! Why did you have to leave me!" Then I remembered his words. " Look Cagalli, there will be a time when I can no longer walk beside you any more, but when that happens, remember, you will not be alone for I will always be walking with you here.". I put my hands on my heart and closed my eyes, as I slowly walked along the shore, I could feel my father walking beside me, with his especially large footsteps, I closed my eyes tight, as I knew that when I open them, he will no longer be there.

"Mother! Mother! Why are your eyes closed? Why are you crying?" I sniffed and took in a deep breath as I bend down and told Anna. "Look Anna, there will be a time when I can no longer walk beside you any more, but when that happens, remember, you will not be alone for I will always be walking with you here." I put my hand on my heart, I smile as I close my eyes, tears streaming endlessly down my cheeks. I heard my father's voice resound through my head saying those same words.

Father … I know you are here …

:cries: ANY ONE HAS A TISSUE? xD Seriously, I cry whenever I watch the episode where Uzumi dies, Poor Cagalli! This fic is dedicated to Uzumi Nara Athha, written in remembrance of the great man, who against all odds had protected ORB's ideals. :sniffs again: O, just for your info, Anna is 6 years old. :DD Besides i haven't seen much fics on Uzumi yet, so :DD Review please? -puppydogeyes-
