Before the workers could say anything more, the ghouls fled to Saiko's room. Hide and Ken knew Saiko didnt care if they visited though they did forget about the 2 others watching their movement; awkward stare from Mutsuki and death stare from Urie.
"We were conversing ghoul scum!" says Urie.
"They arent scum by choice as Saiko put it. The white head is actually pretty cu-"
"Eat up meat lover." says Ken unamused, eyes on Hide, forcing him toward a wall.
Hide looked around for the camera with Ken urging him to focus on his arm. Ken badly wanted to break the cameras and let Hide feast in his own disturbing way. He couldnt play Centipede feeds his prey with quinx watching like surveillance ticking away at the madness. All Hide could do was stare at the glaring daggers teen and quiet yet concerned teen uncertain about the timing when work came first. Ken kept snapping his fingers to get Hides attention only to see a blank stare with no mouth movement.
Ken was confused at first before looking back at the anger issues teen and and soft spoken yet somewhat deadly teen. All 3 quinx were in the room chatting when he shoved Hide into the room after claiming they were heading to theirs.
"Hey bug demon, you gonna act like our mentor? Centipede might hate it but you'll get to cook for us 'Maman'." says Saiko.
Hide and Ken blushed madly as Ken set his arm down.
"If I'm Maman, what is Hide?" wonders Ken growing concerned about Hides body type.
"He would be papa." says Saiko shrugging, "Hide needs a dad bod."
"You're already calling them parents!? They're not that much older than us lazy bum!" says Urie taken aback.
"Hide is back in his routine albeit, he cant be human around us." says Mutsuki.
"They are the enemy. Enemies who were granted work roles." growls Urie.
"You're not going to gang up and attack us. My ukaku can only carry me so far. Downside is chubby belly that needs nourishing. Upside is Kaneki knows how to go about it if you comply with him. Fresh human and ghoul; Ghoul meat for Maman and Human meat for bubbly buddy...Papa." says Hide sheepishly.
"Ahhhh introversion, theres no safe place to be alone with thousands of people at you. Its a wonder why Maman is pissed 24\7 while I get a room to myself. Well, for the most part. Hide is just the bonus. We all need to relax around the people we are comfy with." thinks Saiko sighing, "Please no blood anywhere. Its weird claiming 'Kuraim' was injured in a practice battle when they all know Id be the injured 1 if Maman Ken brought out his rinkaku. Noone is safe with tentacles crashing into things. Wonder what uncle barista is up to with Arima? Maman is always glaring at him for something he never did. Yet I suppose. Arima is kind in his own way yet Maman may not see it right away."
To late. There was the sound of liquid splashing the floor with the quinx watching disgusted as Ken detached his legs so it appeared like only Ken's upper body was attatched.
"I would add my arms but then itd look worse to the workers. You'll have to wait until the limbs regenerate. 2 would never be enough though." says Ken flipping himself over to lean against Hide.
"You can't just casually do that!" says Urie.
"I can and I must since Hide must never sever his limbs." says Ken.
"What if I sever his limbs?" wonders Urie.
"You die by my rinkaku and we cant have that on our heads." says Ken.
"If you only get ghoul meat when ghouls are going after humans, how long does it take to regenerate limbs?" wonders Mutsuki gulping.
"I've been in to many battles to get a good estimation. Thinking back, it'd take a night's worth of healing to keep Jason entertained while chipping away my body. 10 days of mutilation, 9 nights praying my limbs were fully healed. Only thing different was Jason shoved human down my throat so the healing would quicken. I cant get ahead of the game here if the ghoul bouts get lesser by the month. You can eat daily, ghouls can only eat monthly though Hide needs it weekly. Severely weekly." says Ken.
"Look up RC cells Hide." says Mutsuki.
Hide nodded setting his food down, reached for his cell phone and brought it to his face. Ken grabbed the bottom of the cell phone and searched for info so Hide could finish.

I've never noticed as a human since I had no knowledge of how a ghoul body was compared to a human's. Ghouls have a "Rc factor" ten times higher than humans. The average healthy human has a Rc factor of about 200 to 500, while a ghoul has a Rc factor of about 1000 to 8000. Typically, a ghoul stocks Rc cells by eating people. Within the body, the Rc cells are concentrated and stored in a kakuho. The kagune is formed by Rc cells that have been released from a kakuhou and have pierced through the skin.'

"You werent in the same predicament as us mr. ghoul extraordinaire. You gained kagune through scientists who can help humans retain human characteristics despite quinque abilities. You arent forced to walk around knowing you cant keep the human life while moving in the darkness away from doves. The quinx squad are humans with ghoul appendages while we gained ghoul appendages and have ghoul characteristics we never agreed too." says Ken.
'Rc cells flow through specialized Rc cell vessels. They spread from the kakuhou and permit the body to produce a kagune to the outside. The bodily capabilities can increase as much as the number of vessel increases. Vessels grow and spread throughout the body, stimulated through repeated injury and regeneration. Through this process, half-ghouls and quinx become stronger to the degree they're hurt. It is unclear if normal ghouls can become stronger this way, too.'
"What's something we don't know from the books?" wonders Urie.
"Humans may need to be saved at all times. But you have to realize we arent as far apart as you want to believe. Hide and I are no better than you. Though different diets, we are still the other half of the quinx treatment. Quinx are the blessing and experimental half ghouls are the curse. You are human like the workers while we lost the human in us. Moreso me than chubster here." says Ken closing his eyes.
"You halfa variants are like the light to our corrupted darkness. In time we will have to act like a family if you want to keep alive. I am the carefree fun dad and mr. Kills when starved is the kind yet chaotic mom in a male's body;male wife." says Hide.
"Cool yet crazy white head who slightly sees us as kids of his." thinks Mutsuki frowning.
"Cool yet dangerous and fun yet idiotic. Quite the salty side to this quinx development." mutters Urie.
"Hide is to lazy to train with us. His wings are merely display at this point. Ma...man...uuuugh...Maman doesnt see him as a fighting type." thinks Urie gaze glued to the lovers.
Arima's office...
"Hide is unable to fight due to his girth and the anomaly doesnt mind one bit. Scarecrow doesnt do much anyway but his wings need time to breathe and strengthen. If we let the boys go to the anomaly's parents we are sunk." says Akira.
"The bug anomaly suggested I take Juuzou and him to his parents as if it's a family reunion. This is to good to be true." says Shinohara.
"I'll take Nagachika and the Kanekis to their parents if you dont feel obligated enough. There are some questions we can work around once the female and I chat. I am her goal right now. Get to me and you can basically see favoritism like no other." says Arima.
"She will stab first before asking anything." says Akira.
"We dont know that for sure. All we can base our situation on is 1 useful ghoulified son and 2 untrained ghoulified friends who only have the quinx who share the same genetic changes persay." says Arima standing up.
"You have no need for leaving the building sir. Yes, we dont know how dangerous they are-"
"We also have to see how Ginshi is fairing with nutcases seeking the ghoul life." says Arima grabbing his suitcase.
"This isnt like having a meeting. What will you do if 1 of them attacks you?" wonders Akira.
Arima smiled briefly.
"They do need to show their kagune when a ghoul expert has them at his or her side. The humans will be safe while I am dragging our demon recruits around." says Arima walking away.
"Yes sir." say Akira and Shinohara.
"I'd include Akira and Amon as backup yet everything will surely work out." says Arima's fading voice.
"HMmmmmm peculiar favoritism from the head ghoul investigator." think Akira and Shinohara.
"Spy on them if need be." says Shinohara.
"I'm sure Arima has good intentions. No ghoul would be foolish enough to attack him." says Akira waving him off.
"I have to wonder." says Shinohara.
Yuno, Yuki and Gishi...
"How many humans and ghouls is that now?" wonders Ginshi eyeing the garbage bags.
"3 bags filled with 10 bodies; Doctor Kanou and 9 other innocents. Ghouls were trickier to slash apart with how strong the skin was." growls Yuno.
"10 humans;0 ghouls. All alive before Yuno snuck up on them. Blinded by bloodlust leads to prison for ghouls but what of humans?" thinks Ginshi sweating.
"We'd need quinques to kill ghouls or kagune and you butchered Kanou so you cant become a ghoul." says Yuki wearily.
"Giving them 5 each wont help alleviate Hide. Sliced up body parts can only last so long." thinks Yuno looking around the street they were on, "The 'binge eater' Centipede needs his munchies too. They wont beable to last for long entertaining those low lives." gaze deadly looking back at the boys before setting her eyes on a building infront of them.
"Kanou would be our minion for ghoul parts yet CCG has scientists who can unwillingly give me the quinx treatment. Scaring people into doing things is what I do best. We need to get passed Arima to get to the quinx scientists and make a condition they cant refuse." says Yuno.
"You already sound like the head of a company that needs to be out of the job." says Yuki.
"This world has benefits for us with our killing skills and lets Ken and Hide feed without getting bloody. Win-win in our book so long as noone talks." says Yuno staring at Ginshi.
Ginshi nervously fixed his shirt.
"Well, Mutsuki and Urie will have to get used to the other side of the quinx anatomy. Saiko already doesnt care that bug dude practically wants Hide as a cushion. Best buds dont normally act that way yet they were once ghoul-human friends so its not that severe a case." says Ginshi unsure how to word his thoughts.
