Kuraim(Ken 1), age 22*Haise Sasaki RE age*, was getting accustomed to wearing the attire he turned down when starting his work days with his somewhat twin Junpei(Ken 2), age 21*amnesiac Ken in cochlea*, who was still wearing the first suit while seeming fidgety about wearing a black suit with a blue dress shirt and a psychedelic blue and gray skulls necktie once that was in his closet, Hide/Rabbit Scarecrow, age 22*Scarecrow days?*, was still in the orange and black kimono though Kuraim was eyeing his body not all that thrilled about the idea of Hide having a Kakuja of his own*He needed a new diet and the workers werent giving in* and Juuzou*still with half black half white hair*, age 21*year earlier than known RE age* were sitting with the quinx squad and estranged parents in Hide and Kuraim's dining room going over some questions that needed answering.
"Papa have a kakuja to go with your wings? All that ghoul meat has to count for something." wonders Saiko.
"Me, a kakuja like Centipede? Hahaha...as if. What would I do with an appearance I cant use?" wonders Hide nervously.
"Oh right, Kuraim's parents keep making sure you have food so I assumed angelic armor would be on you. Not sure your appearance can handle that much armor though." says Saiko frowning.
"Ehehehe. How is living like a parent to the quinx squad going Ken?" wonders Hide.
Ken 2 curiously lifted an eyebrow before realizing he meant the white haired kakuja user.
"You act like a moocher around them 'Daddy dearest'." says Ken 1.
"Moocher!? Scuse you! Saiko and I play video games while you tend to the kitchen." says Hide blushing annoyed.
"...atleast I can cook for the half human side. The smell is horrid but they enjoy my cooking. I cant feed your gut anymore so you're left alone when breakfast, lunch or dinner arrive." says Ken 1 blushing angrily.
"Maman, as you call him, is most likely ticked off that he and his human turned ghoul fiance never got married. How would they with ghoul killers all around? You cant expect everyone to halt what they are doing to appease tweedle dee and tweedle dumb. Ghoul killers letting ghouls marry is not our jurisdiction." says Urie.
"A wedding sounds magical." says Yuno with hearts in her eyes.
"You had your chance and you never escaped with your precious sons and son in law." says Ginshi.
"Son in law? Since when do you call me that?" wonders Hide looking at Yuno.
"Weddings are eternal unless you chose the wrong one." says Yuno.
"You guys are still teenagers so you wouldn't understand fully until you have a lover. And that's slim with it being only 4 trainees; 2 boys and 2 girls." says Yuki.
"I have a crush on Kaneki but it seems he has Hide." says Mutsuki gloomily.
"You need someone fresh out of highschool. Do you take more to Ginshi or Urie?" wonders Yuno.
"My heart wants Kaneki-Kuraim." says Mutsuki.
"Crushes don't last." says Yuno frowning.
"Kaneki is to kind to be a ghoul with a human mindset." says Mutsuki.
"Tell that to Centipede." thinks Ken 1.
"That's sweet and all but your budding crush may only mean you feel bad about my situation not so much the whole love thing. A trainee falling for the mentor isnt all that strange either. Hide and I were fiances way before I found out about you guys. It wouldn't be fair to Hide. I'll happily portray as a parent for now. But moocher dad needs to do his part." says Ken 1.
"We cant eat like a family because our eating schedule is different from a human's." says Hide.
"Obviously! I'm talking about chores! I can't do everything while you get to do nothing. You have arms so use them." says Ken 1.
"...parenting sounds like crap." thinks Urie unamused.
"I'd train with you guys but-"
"Your hefty body gets tired easily. And that's fine yet you're more audience than participant." says Ken 2.
Ken 1, Hide and the quinx stare at Ken 2.
"I have to bear with Arima wanting me at his side 24/7 so I cant get much training in for my rinkaku." says Ken 2 sweating.
"Atleast you have an alibi, mr. moocher is to lazy to see how strong wings are. If Touka were here, she'd get him training in seconds." says Ken 1 sighing.
Silence filled the air.
"She's been without her barista boy toy for a year now. Fury has vengeance." says Ken 1.
"Our highschool friends havent been seen at HQ's entrance." says Hide.
"They do have their lives to tend to. And your cult buddies will be in for a shock when they find out Cain is dead." says Ken 1.
"As far as we know. We haven't gone to cochlea to see if he's still caged up. We can only go by what Arima claims." says Hide.
"Calling him dad will take some time." mutters Ken 2.
"Hide or Arima?" wonders Yuno.
"I'd rather you guys feel free to do as you please yet there have been no signs of plans for commuting to a building with more bedroom space. That way Hide wont feel like one who exploits the generosity of others. Hide is generous enough for everyone. Dont act like parents who fight just yet. You cant set family boundaries unless everyone acts like family. Mama Kenny, Papa Foodie*Hide*, Uncle Kenny 2, Grandma Yuno, Grandpa Yuki, and 4 kids who need parents who adore them as is. Arima is acting father of Kenny 2 until fakery becomes reality." says Yuno nodding to herself.
"You sound like a wife that used to love her husband and now cant stand him." says Saiko.
"Divorce cant happen if the marriage license isn't official. I'll get dinner made. You guys talk amongst yourselves." says Ken 1 leaving the room.
"I need to bleach my mind of ghouls living with humans." says Urie.
"You are Kenny's trainees and theres noone else to take the job." says Yuno glaring at Urie.
"We need an expert quinx not a halfa that speaks for humans." grumbles Urie.
"My son is doing his best catering to his fiance and teens who need to be responsible for their actions." says Yuno.
"Cant forget about the humans who get away with murder now." says Urie leaning back.
"Hide-Scarecrow dude, when the pinkette was informed of you becoming part ghoul, she was disturbingly dismembering Kanou. She said it was a minor inconvenience with bug dude able to eat ghoul and human." says Ginshi frowning at Yuno.
"I have been eagerly waiting for him to devour me yet now I can regenerate whats lost. He can eat me all he wants and I wont be dead." says Hide thoughtfully.
"Until he plunges his kagune into you. Yes, he'd have a buffet of flesh..." says Juuzou.
"Im not a beanbag." says Hide looking Juuzou.
"Yet Ken uses you as one." says Juuzou.
"When his limbs regenerate. I want a kid to enjoy a ghoul's company without danger at every corner." says Hide.
"We cant sweet talk the scientists." says Juuzou.
"Male pregnancy isn't a thing Hide." says Yuno.
"Then why so many fanart? If theres fanart, it has to be." says Hide showing a search on mpreg.
"Dude, thats for anime lovers who enjoy yaoi. Only way to have a kid with both of your genetics is if there's a miracle or Yuno takes over the lab to create clones of you before fusing them to get a child." says Ginshi.
"Yuno? Cloning you to get the perfect child? Sounds risky." says Yuki.
"What I imagined the end of our freedom being was HUMAN HIDE-Seemingly dead Hide is pronounced as dead from how his face looks from the mouth down, although never shown, is set in a grave for good leaving everyone to scout out for 'Centipede'/Batman to get answers. By the time they meet up with Centipede/Batman, they see him curled up against a wall mumbling crazily to himself with small pupils while switching between frowning, smiling and rage. Arima would squeeze between the mob of doves to get in front of everyone to see Ken was laying on the ground tear streaks down his cheeks shadow eyed mumbling about ways to die to be with him in death. Arima tells everyone to head back to HQ while he ended Centipede/Batman's life. Arima stares down at Ken frowning grimly before stabbing him in the heart supposedly ending his life. Now that concept is out the door." says Yuno.
Eyes were on Yuno as she bitched away about a similar outcome to cycle 1. Yuno cleared her throat and continued.
"Now that Hide is a half ghoul, we have to focus on going about HQ-now living as a CCG member with only Juuzou and the quinx as friends*somewhat*, we are slowly coming to terms with Kenny still being himself despite a fake name and brownish taupe eyes shifting to grayish silver eyes instead thanks to Arima's unsuspecting interest in him. We could buy contacts but thatd never work with him being a ghoul quinx. As a seemingly quinx rikaku leader of the 4 quinx; you 4, Arima now has gained twin siblings; black haired taupe eyed Ken and white haired silvery eyes Ken becoming a father to them in the place of US! US OF ALL PEOPLE!" says Yuno.
"Is this going anywhere? You're talking crazy again." mutters Urie.
"I AM NOT CRAZY ASSHOLE TEEN!" yells Yuno.
"Emmmmm...there may have been a slight change of view however if things go well, Black haired Ken will have to look up to Arima and will feel forced into taking a liking to his attire choice within the HQ except showing no emotions even when spoken too in due time. You will be needing reading glasses to look like Arima's son despite the black hair. As for Ken-bug 'dude', ummmmmm he has been wearing a white suit similar to Urie and Mutsuki's. So thats a plus to a point. While black haired Ken grows into helping around HQ and is only killing ghouls as a last resort, white haired Ken is trying to help make sure you teenage quinx are able to fend for yourselves unless he was forced into the action." says Yuki awkwardly.
"That sounds like what Arima told me. Does Arima know what these 2 are thinking!?" thinks Ken 2 panicking.
"Yuno is having a mental breakdown thanks to Kanou's interference. We'll be heading home now as much as I'd love to taste his cooking." says Yuki taking Yuno's hand and both left with Yuno screeching at Yuki.
Everything quieted down now that the adopted parents were gone.
