Artemis POV

When I saw him, part of me wanted to curl up and wait to die. His body was soaked in blood and he had a starved look on his face. Bits of his skin had been peeled off and his body was a collection of cuts. From one look, I just knew he was on the verge of death. I had to help him and I needed to do it fast. First, I made to hold his body, but as soon as I did, his blood started seeping out of his body even faster. If I carried him all the way to camp, he would die before he arrived. I lay him down and instead sent out messages. My first was to Thalia, my Lieutenant.

"Oh Iris, Goddess of the Rainbow, show me Thalia Grace," I said.

You see for God's, we never had to give any payment or need any rainbow when asking Iris to send messages. That was only for demi-gods. The air shimmered, and before me were all the hunters, sitting at a table, laughing. Thalia looked back and saw me in an Iris Message. She immediately looked concerned. Thalia was clever, and she knew that I would never message her unless it was something serious.

"Millady, what's wrong, " Thalia asked with worry in her voice.

"Thalia I haven't got much time," I began. "I am heading to Olympus and won't be back for a while. You are in charge. Do as I would and do not let me down. I raised my hand to disconnect the message, but before I could, a hunter named Tracy asked me something, as if she already knew what was going on.

"You found him didn't you!" she exclaimed. I raised my hand and stopped the connection, but not before saying yes. Next, I messaged Father. As soon as he realised it was me, he asked me, "Daughter, what is so urgent that you call me at this hour."

"Father we do not have time," I replied. "Call the council immediately. It is life or death." And on that happy note I swiped my hand through the message, put my hand on Perseus' chest, and flashed us both to Olympus.

Zeus POV

Me and all the other Olympians were waiting in the throne room, wondering why Artemis called us here. We had only been waiting a minute when Artemis and something else flashed into the middle of the throne room. One look at my daughter's face and I knew we were in a complex situation. Her face was a mixture of worry and fear. My daughter almost never got worried, so if she was, it means there was something real bad happening.

"Father he is dying," Artemis launched, not even kneeling at me, which was very unlike her. " Call for help. Otherwise, he will die." I looked at her and saw a red puddle, very slowly expanding, in the centre of our pure white throne room. Then I saw the thing Artemis had flashed in with. It was none other than Perseus Jackson, who was dying in front of me.

"Apollo," I yelled. "Heal him now. We must help him regain consciousness." Apple ran to Perseus and started chanting in Ancient Greek, muttering a spell to cure Jackson. While we couldn't hear him well, we all could tell that he sounded frantic. My brother to my left looked hopeful, the first time I had seen him look like this in the last 3 days.

"How did you - " he began but Artemis cut him off, looking to see the signs of life from Perseus. After 5 long, tense moments, Apollo looked up and announced that he would be awaking soon and would live. Relief filled the air and Posideon seemed to make a noise that was something between a laugh and a sob. I turned to my daughter.

"How did you find him, daughter?" I asked, curious as to how he was in this state. Slowly, Artemis began to recap the events leading to the heroes finding. She had finished her story and the room was silent. Finally Posideon spoke up.

"Artemis. Thank you so much for finding my son. I don't know how I will ever -" Posideon stopped speaking and instead looked behind Artemis. Everyone turned and looked at what Posideon was staring at. Sitting up, with a scared look on his face, was Perseus Jackson.

Artemis POV

No one spoke a word. Silence engulfed us all as we all just stared at the boy. The boy seemed to stare back at all of us, one by one, until finally, Father broke the silence.

"Nephew!" he exclaimed. "Where were you? We have been searching for you for 3 days and you suddenly teleported to us in a pool of blood. You must tell us the story!" Posideon, on the other hand, grabbed his Trident and tensed up.

"Who did it son," he roared. "Tell me who and I will vanish them to the depths of Tartarus! Tell me!" Instead of telling us all the story, Perseus got up, went to Father and said, "Lord Zeus, please grant me one request of mine."

"But Perseus," Father began. "You need to tell us the story first!"

"Please," he begged. "Please let me have one wish and then I will ask nothing more from anyone. Please!" Now that was strange. People always prayed to us in life-threatening situations. He would have to ask us for help eventually. Father sighed and reluctantly gave Perseus one wish.

"My Lord," Perseus said, I could tell that he wanted something no good. "I wish to die."

"I'm sorry I didn't quite hear you Perseus," said Father, and even I didn't believe what I had just heard. Then, Perseus repeated the words we had all feared. He looked at all of us, deadly serious.

"I wish to die."
