Chapter 3.

I couldn't respond to guest reviewers but thank you for the encouragement. I try to respond to all reviews, if I missed you please forgive me. I still own nothing.

The next morning found Hermione and Harry meditating on discovering their animagus forms. Ever since the year in the tent, they both had been working long and hard on becoming not only animagi but also becoming an Occlumens and legilimens as well.

They should have been able to transform a while ago but both were having trouble pinning down their forms. Harry expected to be a deer just as Hermione expected to be a River Otter but that wasn't what was coming to them when they meditated.

Oh, Hermione sensed things that made sense for a river otter but there were things she was sensing that made no sense for that to be her form. She was starting to suspect she may be some kind of Chimera and that Harry might be too as he had described what he sensed and they both seemed to have more than one kind of animal, so the only thing she could think of was a Chimera. Both Harry and Hermione were having far better vision than normal and Harry could now go without his signature glasses.

Finally giving up for the morning the two stood to stretch out.

"Good morning you two did you sleep well," Andromeda asked when she saw that they were finally done for the morning?

"Oh my gosh, the bed was too nice. I am not used to sleeping on a cloud." Harry stated with a wry grin.

"It is going to take some getting used to," Hermione agreed. "The beds in the old tent are not nearly as comfortable."

"Well, I for one am glad Harry bought a great tent for us to use," Andromeda laughed. She smiled when the other two laughed with her she didn't want the other two to start thinking too deeply about the last year.

"Nana, Mimi, Har Bear," Teddy called out from inside the tent.

"We are out here Sunshine." Andromeda called into the tent and went to retrieve her grandson."We wouldn't leave you alone love."

"Mi mi!" Teddy called out his golden locks changing color to match Hermione's own hair even as he reached for her.

"Little man, are you hungry Teddy should we see what we can fix up for you?" Hermione asked holding him close.

"Muffkins!" Teddy announced.

"You need some protein too Teddy to grow big and strong." Harry pointed out, wanting some bacon. "I'll make the bacon and sausage links if you make the muffins Hermione."

"Deal." Hermione agreed, knowing that this was Harry's nice way of making sure she didn't overcook the bacon. Hermione just had a hard time with bacon. She didn't want anyone to contract worms so always cooked it too long. "Just remember I like mine crisp and not undercooked at all."

"Hermione, everyone here likes their bacon crisp. Just not blackened."

"Yeah, yeah, Keep it up Harry and I won't make Banoffee muffins, just blueberry ones."

Harry's eyes grew wide. "You wouldn't!"

Hermione just gave Harry the look.

"You totally would. It's dropped, Oh, goddess of the Banoffee muffins." Harry smiled at her laying it on thick so she wouldn't change her mind about making Banoffee muffins. Harry loved them so much but he was not as good at baking as Hermione was.

Hermione just rolled her eyes and laughed. "Let's go make breakfast, oh Lord of cooking anything else but muffins."

Teddy was laughing at Harry. "Har Bear, why you act like that?"

"Teddy my lad, never risk Hermione withholding her baked goods," Harry said with a wink then followed Hermione into the tent; disappearing from the forest glen with Teddy and Andromeda following behind him.

Off in the distance, a giant wolf turned and ran off into the trees. Feeling confused and bothered by what he had seen. Hermione, Harry, Andromeda, and Teddy none the wiser about being discovered. All thinking they were safe from discovery behind muggle repelling wards.

Later in the day Hermione and Harry emerged from the tent in a heated discussion. "Yes." Hermione insisted.

"No," Harry demanded emphatically.

"It'll be good for you Harry," Hermione, not one to be denied, continued to insist.

"I haven't taken muggle classes since I was eleven years old. I can't go to high school I'll be too far behind." Harry pleaded. "Isn't it enough that we are going to be studying for our NEWTS?"

"You have me to help you get caught up and you won't be taking advanced classes." Hermione continued to defend her stance on going back to High School. Then with a toss of her wild curls, Hermione climbed into the driver side of her new car and waited for Harry to join her. "We need to blend in and have a pulse on community gossip if we hope to be aware of when Fenrir manages to track me down." Hermione continued once Harry got into the car with her. "We can do that one of two ways, get a job or go back to school. Do you really want to get a job in this small town? What do you think we would be doing?"

"I could pretend to be an investment broker. I have enough money people would believe it."

"And when people come to invest their money what would you do with it? No Harry, with our transcripts and if we don't want to end up in jail, I think school is the better choice."

"Ok fine but we go to school as Seniors, and you've got to help me with getting caught up not only with muggle school but with NEWTS as well."

Hermione smiled and it was like a ray of sunshine blasted him, her true smiles were few and far between since the days of the Horcrux hunt. Harry found himself glad he agreed, at least for now. There was no telling how long his happiness would last in the face of going back to muggle education. But, he would enjoy her happiness for as long as possible.

"So what are we doing?" Harry asked as they buckled up.

"We are going to open a P.O. box so the school will have an address for us. Then we are going to go register for classes."

"You aren't going to give me a chance to change my mind are you?" Harry asked.

In response, Hermione pulled out. "Not a chance on Earth," she answered.

"That's what I was afraid of...oh wait a minute...I changed my mind."

"Too late," Hermione growled at Harry and he started laughing.
