Chapter 4.

Polyandry pairings for Hermione, possible polygamy pairings for Harry, and Het Pairings for everyone else. I am going to try to keep this so I can change the rating from M to T though so I will be going light on any Lemons. I still don't own this.

Jacob stormed from the woods kicking his motorcycle and sending it crashing into the fence. The fence groaned and collapsed causing Jacob to hiss and look skyward wondering what else could possibly go wrong. He could feel himself shaking fighting the change as he considered that on top of everything else he was going to have to fix that too.

"Breathe Jacob," He heard his father, Billy Black, call from the house. Jacob winced and turned to see his father in his wheelchair on the porch. "What is wrong son?"

Jacob took some deep breaths tried to settle down and avoid changing again, as he did just a short while ago. "Bella," he answered darkly.

"Can you tell me about it," Billy asked?

"The bloodsucker is back in town, so Bella told me she couldn't see me anymore. She just dropped my friendship and everything."

"I'm sorry Jacob," Billy winced.

"That's not all. I went to see her at her school, I was talking to her about the bloodsucker trying to get her to understand that he isn't good for her. The next thing I know she says "I'm sorry Jacob you are right and she kisses me. At first, I was elated, she was finally kissing me. but the second it was over she looked over and I couldn't help looking over as well. She was looking at Edward. As soon as he walked away she just walked away without saying a word. Dad, she was just using me to make him jealous. " Jacob ran his hand through his hair agitatedly, desperately trying to keep from breaking down and crying. "All these questions are running through my head faster than I can even think about them. Why can't she see he is no good for her? Why doesn't she care about me? Was she just using me to get by this whole time? Was she ever even my friend? What's wrong with me?"

Billy had been furious with Bella wanting nothing more than to go over and give her a piece of his mind. But as Jacob talked he was thinking furiously. Would chewing her out do anything to help Jacob? Jacob was the priority.

"Nothing is wrong with you. If Bella can't see how amazing you are then she isn't worth breaking your heart over her. I promise you Jacob you will meet someone else and she will discover what an amazing and wonderful man you are." Billy interrupted before Jacob could continue to spiral into a world of self-loathing.

"It hurts."

"I know son, but it won't last forever that I can promise you."

"Sorry, about the fence I'll fix it later," Jacob stated.

"Yes, you will." Billy gave his son the look. "Are you feeling more yourself?"

"I'm not on the verge of changing anymore so, that is progress. I'm not looking forward to shifting with the rest of the pack and having them know about how she used me. I really thought she was my friend. I really cared about her."

Billy didn't have anything he could say to make this better except. "They are your pack brothers they care about you."

"I know," Jacob admitted when Seth came running up to him.

"Hey Jacob, pack meeting at Emily's, Seth announced once he arrived. "Dude the fence, what happened?"

"You will find out soon," Jacob answered. "What's the pack meeting about?"

Seth laughed. "Paul is seeing things. He says he saw some people in the woods who came, set up a tent, and then they disappeared. "

"The people disappeared? Are we thinking a bloodsucker got them," Jacob asked?

"No, he is saying that before his very eyes they and the tent and everything disappeared," Seth answered.

Jacob blinked in surprise. "Are we talking about magic," He asked? Jacob and his father exchanged a glance that went entirely unnoticed by Seth.

"It's either that or Paul got into some magic mushrooms or something," Seth laughed. "Let's go the rest of the pack are already gathered."

Together Andy, Teddy, Hermione, and Harry decided to spend the rest of the day after registering for school at the beach in La Push. So together Andy and Hermione packed a lunch for them while Harry got Teddy ready for the beach.

"Ok Teddy, you have got to pick a hair color and skin tone and stick with them while we are in public. Remember these people don't know about magic and have never seen the amazing things you can do."

"Don't wanna," Teddy declared.

"Come on Teddy, please? In fact, let's make a game of it. If you can manage not to change hair color or skin tone for the entire time we are in public then you get a reward." Harry bribed.

That got Teddy's attention. "What reward?" Teddy asked in a most serious voice.

"What do you want?"

Teddy thought for just a moment. "Bubbles!"

Harry laughed, that was something he could do. "Ok, Teddy when we get back to the tent I will set up my wand to make bubbles for fifteen minutes."

"Hour, and stars." Teddy tried.

"You drive a hard bargain little man. I will go for bubbles for a half-hour."

Teddy considered this for a long moment. "and stars at bedtime."

"Good plan," Harry said relieved Teddy agreed so willingly. A half-hour without his wand was hard for him after the war but it was worth it to have Teddy try his best to keep from changing in front of muggles. The stars weren't a problem at all, Hermione could cast the charm he was certain. They just needed to make the roof of the tent transparent so Teddy could stargaze while going to sleep.

"Is everyone ready," Hermione called out to the rest of the tent?

"Just applying the sunscreen charm on him now," Harry called back, casting a charm on Teddy to keep his fair skin from burning in the sun and taking Teddy into the great room where Hermione and Andy were waiting.

"I love that charm. No sunscreen to get in your eyes and it lasts all day even if you get wet," Harry stated with a smile.

"My Ted loved that one too," Andy stated with a small smile. Hermione gently squeezed Andy's hand. They shared a small smile together. They then left the tent and drove to the beach.
