[Remnant: Kingdom of Vale]
It was just another day in the Kingdom of Vale. The Sun was shining, and no sign of Grimm attacks anywhere in sight! The people decided to enjoy this day as it was neither too hot or too cold, the temperature was just right.
That was what Jaune Arc, first year student of Beacon Academy decided to do.
Now the young man in question was not wearing his usual pumpkin Pete hoodie and jeans. No, he was wearing a suit. Jaune's black suit looked like it had been taylor made for his body as it fits so well while at the same time looked like it was a little big for him.
Now the reason Jaune Arc was wearing a suit was because he had plans. Those plans in question being a reservation to a high class restaurant that had a strict suit and tie dress code.
'I got the reservation months ago when I thought I could ask Weiss to go with me... but of course she quickly turned me down like the Ice Queen she is...' thought Jaune, who decided to go to the restaurant anyway as there was no point in canceling a reservation to one of the best restaurants in all of Vale!
He decided to treat himself as he deserved it! Especially after his partner put him through the wringer the last several weeks to show him how to properly use his sword and shield, Corcea Mors!
Pyrrha Nikos, his partner and one of his closest friends in the whole world has been intensifying her training. She made him run laps, she made him do push-ups, she made him do sit-ups, she made him go to the gym everyday and work out until he was close to exhaustion! She made him swing his sword again and again until he got it just right!
And the training has been paying off as lately he has been keeping up with his classmates and even managed to defeat his former bully Cardin Winchester on more than one occasion! Jaune had been memorizing everything his partner taught him again and again, and every time he look like he was improving she would intensify the training to make sure he was ready!
Jaune was even managing to keep up with the likes of team RWBY, including his best friend Ruby Rose!
Ruby and Pyrrha told him that with a few more weeks of training he could finally stand toe to toe with the professors, possibly even Headmaster Ozpin!
"Things are looking good for Jaune Arc! I have a promising career as a Huntsman! I finally managing to keep up with my peers! And I have some of the greatest friends in the world that I don't want to trade with! Now let's head to that restaurant and have a congratulation meal for a job well done!" said Jaune, felling like with a bit more training you could keep up with even the likes of the invincible girl aka Pyrrha!
She herself said that and she is a terrible liar! So if she said it it had to be the truth!
"Hmm...Hey, that's that bookstore where that owner mysteriously disappeared."said Jaune, noticing the bookstore that seem to have been ransacked.
"Man, this place looks like it had been cleaned out."said Jaune, as his curiosity got the better of him and it didn't help that the door was unlocked.
Wow... they ripped out the copper wiring and everything. I guess it's understandable as no one wants this building and the only thing good about it had been ripped out by thieves in the dead of night."said Jaune, as his dress shoe boots stepped onto the hardwood floor of the bookstore.
"No one touched the books, well except the ones that didn't look like they were worth much. I can't believe someone treated a bookstore like this just because the owner disappeared without a trace. Maybe he had to leave in a hurry and that's why he literally left with nothing but the clothes on his back."said Jaune, having no idea that the owner of the bookstore had been murdered weeks ago when his murder was covered up because of his involvement with the White Fang.
"Man, some of these books are really old looking. I'm surprise the thieves left these untouched as these look like they could fetch a pretty decent amount of money online."said Jaune, before hearing a creaking sound and pulling out Corcea Mors, which had been attached to his waist the whole time.
"Who's there?!"asked Jaune as he stepped carefully around the bookstore to see if anyone was there besides him!
He soon got his answer when a possum jumped out of a nearby desk and ran out of the store as fast as it could with what looked like a rat in its mouth.
"The circle of life."said Jaune, letting out a sigh relief as he was glad it was just a possum eating a rat.
It may be gross but it's just nature.
"Huh? That creature knocked over some old looking book. I better put it away before it gets ruined as it's a nice looking book. Hmmm... I still have time before I have to make it to my reservation so a little read wouldn't hurt."said Jaune as he picked up the book and looked it over.
"Huh, it's a fairy tale book? I wonder if it has that story I like about how the Faunus came to be."said Jaune, as he opened up the book.
But as soon as he did that did the book release a flash of light, causing the young man temporary blindness as he rubbed his eyes to regain his sight! In the meantime the book started releasing what looked like a tornado like a fact as a mini tornado appeared out of the pages of the book and started sucking anything that was around in, including one first year student named Jaune Arc!
"Wha-?!"said Jaune Arc, before he found himself getting pulled in by the mysterious book he decided to stupidly open!
Jaune tried to grab on the nearby desk to hold himself but it felt like the vacuum like effect was only getting stronger! Jaune decided to try to do a leap of faith or in this case a run of faith and run to the door but as soon as he let go of the desk then he find himself getting sucked into the book!
"Oh shoot!"was all Jaune Arc managed to say before he was sucked into the book.
As soon as he was absorbed inside did the book closed itself shut, and soon strange energy surrounded the book as it floated away into the deeper depths of the bookstore.
Jaune Arc on the other hand found himself falling through a tunnel what looked like it was made out of pages of the very book that sucked him inside in the first place!
"What is this?! What's happening?!"said Jaune as he looked around and saw himself falling deeper and deeper down the metaphorical and very literal rabbit hole!
Jaune tried his best to stop himself by pulling out Corea Mors and stabbing one of the nearby walls to get some footing, but the papers seem to move out of the way as he tried to stab into them and soon Jaune saw a light at the end of the tunnel.
"I guess I'll figure out what happened to me as soon as I land!"said Jaune as he braced himself for impact
Jaune soon opened his eyes and realized he didn't fall or anything as he opened his eyes and saw that he was in some kind of forest. At first he thought he was in the Emerald Forest before he noticed that the landscape was completely different from the forest he knew.
In fact this forest didn't look anything like the Emerald Forest or the forest at Forever Falls, it didn't even look like any known forest in the face of Remnant!
"Where am I?"asked Jaune, wondering how a simple book brought him to some unknown forest!.
Was it magic? But magic didn't exist!...Right?
"I'm sure there's a logical explanation for all of this...And there's a literal Giant over there!"said Jaune, as a logical explanation went out the window as soon as he saw a giant of a person walking towards what looked like a large building far off in the distance!
"Okay... either I'm asleep or I'm somehow in some other world that's not Remnant. Okay, Jaune, its time to wake up!"said Jaune as he slapped himself across the face, only to hold his cheek a few seconds later as it grew red from the slap.
"Ow...Okay, I'm not dreaming."said Jaune, realizing that he wasn't dreaming as you can't feel pain in the dream because of right brain left brain... science stuff.
"Okay... the first thing I should do is try to find someone who can help me figure out what the heck is going on! Since I literally have no idea what the heck is going on!"said Jaune, figuring that talking to someone would help him out of his current situation!..
"Maybe that building where that giant headed off to has someone who can help me. It could also be filled with people who don't want to warm welcoming to this new world but as Pyrrha say, one has to take a leap of faith in the face of danger. And currently I can't think of anything more dangerous than being lost in a world that's not your own."said Jaune, figuring what he had to lose so he just put his sword back in his shield / scabbard and headed off in the direction of the large building where the giant went to.
What did he have to lose?! After all it's not like he could figure this all out himself!
I decided to do a RWBY X Ever After High crossover.
I don't think anyone else has done this but I could be wrong.
If anyone else has done this please tell me?
Anyway I'm quite excited to make this story as I've always wanted to make a Jaune Arc story involving him going to either Ever After High or Monster High, but someone beat me to the ladder so I'm doing Ever After High.
