Chris's head shot up when an alarm went off. The young man stuck his head out the window, an man, who looked a lot like his uncle was yelling into a radio. "Dan!" Chris kicked the door open and was up immediately. Despite how tired he was, he was on high alert; alarms didn't just go off for no reason right? The man's roommate turned, holding his Pokemon close to him. Vulpix seemed to be shivering, likely out of fear, as his ears were trying to locate any potential problems. "What the hell is going on out there?" Chris overheard the scientist yell into the radio. "Somebody with an Infernape punched their way through a wall!" A voice on the radio shouted.
"Don't engage them, we all know how dangerous a Pokemon can be, especially the Fire Types. Focus on evacuating everyone," Riot ordered as he turned to his guests. "Looks like we will have to wait on those experiments," Riot sighed as he turned around. "Casper, where are you going?" He asked. "A trainer thought it would be wise to attack my home. I'll deal with them. Take care of my kit for me while I am away," the Ninetales kept trudging on despite her trainer telling her not to. Riot sighed and picked Ruby up so she wouldn't follow her mother out into a fight.
"So, do me and Chris try and get the hell out of here?" Daniel asked. "For now, let's get out of the parking garage. If a Pokemon smashes a car open, like the gas container, we could all die," Riot said. "And let's stick with your Pokemon for now, it may not be a lot of protection…" The scientists paused when his guests raised a hand. "Hell no, I ain't getting Ninetales killed. I'll want him close by, but I am not letting him fight on my behalf!" Daniel said. Riot let out a deep breath and nodded. Daniel's Pokemon, it was Daniel's choice. "Piplup use Bubblebeam!"
Ninetales immediately jumped into action, he lunged forward and brought up a barrier. The bubbles popped and dispersed as they hit. "Ninetales!" The fox growled as a young girl, who resembled somebody from the show, stepped forward. A Piplup and a Mamswine were at her sides, slightly ahead of her. "Chris, the fuck are those things?" Daniel asked, he had a vague idea of what, but wanted to make sure. "Piplup and Mamoswine. One of those things is a Ice and Ground Type. Piplup's a Water type..." Chris's expression fell. "We're fuckin' dead!" There was no way Ninetales knew Energy Ball, that was a move that couldn't be learnt naturally by the fox. And they didn't even know if TMs existed.
Before anyone could react, Daniel ran ahead and body blocked Ninetales and stared down his attacker. "Why the hell are you attacking a laboratory?" Daniel shouted, he was very much mad at the situation. He coulda had a whole week, one whole week without worrying about work, he would've been able to see the Ninetales and Vulpix he loved so much, and instead here he was. Body blocking his pet from a goddamn penguin that could act as a water gun. "Tell us where that Ninetales is," the girl demanded. "What?" Riot tilted his head and rubbed his chin. "Is this Ninetales… perhaps a shiny one?" He asked.
"Yeah, we watched your buddy take it here so where is it?" The girl raised an arm and the Piplup started using Bubblebeam again. Ninetales ran through his trainer's legs, tripping Daniel up in the process, and used Protect again. "Ninetales don't," Daniel said, falling on his rear. Ninetales looked back and Daniel with a loving look on his face, let a low bark, before his face hardened and faced back towards his attacker. "Well… we don't know actually," Riot said.

"Infernape! Use tackle!" Ash swatted the air as his Pokemon followed his every command. A Ninetales was keeping him from advancing any further into the laboratory. "I believe I told you to not play hero, you dumb little kid," Casper said, sitting down on the now unconscious body of Infernape. She had just knocked it out with an Extrasensory. "What? You can talk?" Ash said as his Pikachu leapt forward. "I believe I can. You are here for Ninetales, yes?" Casper asked. "Yeah, a shiny Pokemon was taken here recently and…" Casper blocked out his stupid story, she already knew what it would lead to. She was the subject of it after all.
"And I am that Ninetales. Please explain to me why you think committing multiple crimes will make me wish to leave this place. Oh please tell me how a scientist, who treats me very nicely, would cause harm to me? Sure, the experiments can be a bit weird at times, but I do not mind complying," Casper saw a red beam retrieve the Infernape she was sitting on. "They…" Ash paused as a Garchmop crashed through the ceiling, which would have collasped on top of Casper had she not quickly moved out of the way. "Please stop, my trainer has guests here, and he can't have that if you're destroying the place," the fox asked. Garchomp looked at her as a blonde woman stepped out from behind.
Even if Casper was a wild Pokemon, she knew this woman had a reputation, not exactly sure of what she was, but if she was renowned amongst even wild Pokemon, then it couldn't be good. "You're fighting for a lab that kidnapped you," Garchomp said bluntly as he got ready to follow his trainer's orders. "And I stayed on my own accord. I like being here, I and my kit are well fed, a human cares for me, and…" Ninetales paused. There was something still in the lab she needed to get for Riot, just in case the place collapsed. Casper used Double Team and had her illusions run in all different directions.

Casper stopped outside of a lab cabinet, she quickly grabbed a plastic container containing multiple evolution stones. How Riot's lab had gotten so many was a mystery to her, but it didn't matter. Riot was hoping to run tests with these, and she was going to make sure his work wouldn't get destroyed. "There you are!" The fox growled in frustration as the same dumb kid ran in through the lab doors. "Can you please just… stop?" Casper asked as she turned and sat down. Had it been Riot who found her, he would've taken a picture because "she looked cute" while sitting innocently with something held in her mouth. And she'd gladly take the compliment and let the photo be taken, but today that wasn't the case. She took off again, conjuring up an illusion. "Smell you later, asshat," Casper said.

Ninetales was panting, he had just been pounded by a Bubblebeam that slipped past his defenses. "Look, we'll show you where the Ninetales went, can you stop assaulting my Ninetales already?" Daniel took his fox into his grip and held him tightly. Despite Ninetales' protest, Daniel didn't let go; the fox took too many hits, and looked exhausted. Vulpix stepped forward, with not as much confidence as a Ninetales, but knew he was the last line of defense should this battle keep going.
Riot put his radio away and sighed. "The cops are coming soon," he announced. Daniel and Chris looked almost relieved; at least this will end soon. Suddenly, a blueish-gray blur tackled their attacker's trainer, and landed next to Riot. "Hello, Riot. I got those evolution stones you were hoping to test later. A Garchomp came crashing through the roof and some moron taught their Infernape to use tackle. In other words, this lab might collapse in on itself," she said before going after their attacker again. The fox dragged the girl towards the group to use as a deterrent from any oncoming attacks.
"Hey! Let Dawn go!" Piplup started yelling his head off while Mamoswine seemed to be calculating a way to save his trainer with minimal injury to her. "Well, you were attacking him," Casper said, gesturing towards Ninetales, who was still trying to get out of Daniel's graspe. "By the way, Ninetales, allow your trainer to hold you. He's not sure how many hits you can take, and I don't know how many you took. But just stay with him. I can handle these fools," Casper ordered. Ninetales opened his mouth to protest, but understood that they had leverage.
"Hey Casper, try and hold that girl still for a bit. If the other intruders come, we can use this girl to keep them here. We gotta wait for the police to come in, and hopefully we can keep them here long enough for their arrests," Riot instructed. The Ninetales grinned at her trainer's plan. Of course, that would mean having to deal with keeping a Garchomp at bay, but it didn't matter. "Let go of me!" Dawn yelled as she struggled. "Hey now, if you continue to struggle, I might not let you go at all," Casper looked up from the girl to see three other people, with a Pokemon in front of them.
"Pikachu use quick attack!" Ash yelled. A yellow blur hit Casper in the face, which caused the fox to stagger a bit. Dawn got up and away from the Ninetales and ran towards her group. "We got to get out of here guys," Dawn said. "Why should we? We still gotta get that Ninetales and Vulpix out of here," Cynthia said. "We called the cops, get the fuck outta here before them come and arrest you guys," Daniel said, his grip on Ninetales was firm. "Garchomp, use dig!" Cynthia batted the air as dust began to blur everyone's vision.
Their attackers were gone, but in their place was a hole that went down for an undetermined depth. Now the trio simply sat, with two injured Pokemon, but neither was seriously hurt, a ruined laboratory, and a box of evolutionary stones.
