Angry Lil Elf: Well, you've got a point there. But right now, there have been no Corporation Wars in this universe/timeline but who can say what will happen in the future and if things get as bad as they did in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe then maybe, just maybe Six will sympathize with Johnny. As for Six's appearance, while I haven't got a set look for him, I sort of based him off Ben Affleck's Batman from Superman v Batman.

I haven't really decided yet. It all depends on how serious things get.
If anyone is going to make Six snap, then it'll be those two being... well, Hitchcock and Scully.
Six might be a part of the bet but he's got a lot of catching up to do to catch up with Jake and Amy.
I imagine that Six has been eating MRE's since he graduated from Onyx, so since he was twelve years old meaning that by the time of his story, he's been eating them for around seventeen to eighteen years.

Slaggedfire: Six enjoys MRE's hence him being annoyed when Charles threw his away. But if you look up MRE's on the Halowiki then you'll see that they're generally seen in a poor light.
Random Reader: Yes, I am planning on including more Cyberpunk 2077 elements/missions for Six to deal with both as a Detective and as a Vigilante. I'm thinking on including the Braindance but haven't decided whether Noble Industries should create it or have the actual company from the game create it so that Noble Industries isn't creating everything.
Octavio Sumarkho: I'm still deciding whether or not to include the Insurrectionists and rogue Spartan-IV's into the story. If I do include them then it won't be until a few seasons down the road, probably near the endgame. I mean, I could include Covenant but only Elites since they're the only species that would use stealth. A Brute would just go on a rampage across the globe; I guess it all depends on if I want the world/mankind to learn that they're not alone in the universe.
Jestalnaker94000: That he does, lol. And yes, I've seen a few clips. Love both the look and voice of Thor. As for Odin, still not sold. I think that Sir Anthony Hopkins might have ruined other Odin's for me.
Chapter 13.
After finishing the Ramen Burger, Six and Charles once again sat in silence as they waited to be contacted by Dispatch in regards to the fingerprints they were hoping that the Forensics would discover on the briefcase, which would ultimately lead them to the potential murderer of Bryan Murphey...assuming that he had been killed like the Spartan-III commando hypothesised.
"So, how was it?" Charles asked breaking the silence.
"Fine."
"Oh," Charles nodded his head a few times as silence once again ensued. Finding it maddening, he spoke up once again. "But if you had to give it a review, how would you describe it?"
Breathing through his nose and knowing that Charles wasn't going to shut up until he told him what he thought, Six relented and answered his question. "It provided me with the sustenance that my body required to remain at optimal capacity."
"Okay...but, what about compared to other burgers?"
"I wouldn't know." Six revealed and when Charles looked confused, he elaborated. "That was first burger." He said shocking his fellow detective.
"Oh, Jericho." Charles lamented after getting over his initial shock. "Why didn't you tell me it was your first time? I would have made it special for you."
"It was satisfactory."
"But it could have been so much better," Charles argued back. "If I knew that it was your first time, I would have made it a moment you'd never forget."
"I told you; it was fine."
"You're just saying to make me feel better."
Once again breathing through his nose, Six closed his eyes and took a deep breath before turning back to look at Charles who appeared to be sulking as he stared out of the window and at the city. "It was nice," he told him.
"Really?"
"Hmmm," The Spartan nodded as Charles looked at him. "You outdid yourself."
"Thanks!" Charles beamed enthusiastically, overjoyed to her that. "But next time It'll be even better, I promise."
"I'm sure it will." Six said uninterestingly. To be candid, he had no intension of eating with Charles again. Not because he didn't enjoy his company, but rather because he had zero interest in food. While Charles might have been a food connoisseur, or so Dot had claimed, but to him food was nothing but fuel for the body and little else.
"We'll have to make it last longer too next time," Charles commented now that he was no longer sulking. "The last thing either of us wants is to reach the climax before we're both finished."
Six was unsure why he would phrase it that way. However, before he could think on it too much, Dispatch suddenly came across the radio. "343K, come in."
"This is Detective Reach. Go ahead."
"I have a message for you from the Criminalistics," Dispatch replied over the radio as both Six and Charles listened in. "After swabbing the briefcase located at the crime scene for prints, two sets of fingerprints have been identified. Bryan Murphy's were primarily across the handles and the locks. Additionally, the prints of Robert Hanes, a known con-artist were also discovered."
"Acknowledged." Six said ending the call before tapping the screen in the centre of the dashboard and pressed the app that depicted the NYPD Emblem and brought up the NYPD Criminal Database.
"Locate, Robert Hanes." He said and watched as several men of the same name appeared. "Deeper search parameters; include both convicted and known Con-Artists and those with a Criminal Record currently residing within New York City." He added and watched as the names disappeared until one remained. "Display last known location."
Charles watched as the Heads-Up Display on the windscreen changed and a waypoint revealed the distance between them and the suspects last known location. "Seems you were right after all."
"Let's not jump to conclusions." Six told him as he followed the waypoint and headed down the road. "But right now, it's the best lead we've got."
Arriving at Hanes last known location within twenty minutes, Six pulled up outside of an establishment that had the sign of a woman that appeared to be stretching both of her legs while laying on her back and wearing high heels; rather odd footwear if the woman was going to be participating in a race or excising. One bad move and she'd break her ankle...
Wait a minute, what the hell was he talking about? It was a sign for god's sake! He was beginning to lose his mind... and he blamed the Nine-Nine for it.
"The Dirty Guset." Charles made a face as he read the name of the Strip Club and walked over to the entrance where they saw a rather heavy security guard standing outside of the door whom upon seeing them scowled.
"No pigs aloud."
"You're mistaken..."
"Your badges say otherwise, pig."
"We're not Sus Domesticus,"
"... What?"
"We're Homo Sapiens." Six informed him, although privately he was confused how the security guard could mistake either of them for pigs...perhaps he was suffering the effects of alcohol poisoning.
"Whatever you are, you ain't getting in." The Secuity Guard told him. "Not without a warrant, pig." He grinned smugly showing his decaying teeth making Charles grimace and leaned back to escape his bad breath. "Now scram...before I make ya." he threatened punching his fist into the palm to intimidate.
"Alright, we're leaving." Charles raised his hands in surrender not wanting to escalate the situation. "We will be back with the warrant." He said as he turned to walk away before stopping when he noticed that Jericho hadn't moved. "Let's go, Jericho."
"You should listen to the midget, Jericho."
"I'll have you know that 5'7 is a perfectly average for a man of my generation!" Charles cried out only to be ignored by both Jericho and the Security Guard.
"What, you think those gym muscles are scaring anyone?" The Security Guard taunted Six who was unfazed as he stared back emotionlessly. "Now unless you want some new scars to add to the collection..."
"Now here is what's going to happen," Six cut him off. "You're going to allow myself and Detective Boyle into the building to conduct our investigation... or I charge you for resisting an Executive Officer on the basis of threatening me, Detective First Grade Jericho Reach of the Ninety-Ninth precinct, with Grevious bodily harm to deter us from entering the building."
With each word whatever bravado the Security Guard had crumbled and began to visibly sweat. "Which depending on if this is your first offence, you'll be charged with a misdemeanour which is punishable with up to 364 days in Jail and up to a fine of $1'000: however, if you're charged with a Felony then you can face up to three years in jail and a fine of $10,000."
"T-this is private property."
"That would be true, if we had conducted this conversation inside of this establishment," Six informed him nodding at the building. "But I think you'll find that this is designated as a public space. Not only that, but I can also charge you with Aggravated Assault..."
"Look, man. It wasn't personal, I was just doing my job," The security guard turned into a bumbling mess. "Last thing the customers want are to see two cops entering the place."
"They've nothing to worry about," Charles finally spoke up. "It's not illegal to go to a strip club. In fact, every summer while my father and I take a road trip across the country we often go to Strip Clubs together...
Wait this was a strip club? No matter. " As long as none of the employees are copulating with the customers then there is nothing to worry about." Six told him before turning serious...or at least more so. "Now are you letting us in?"
"Fine," The Security Guard relented as he stepped aside. "But if shit hits the fan."
"Why would faeces be anywhere near the ventilators?" The Spartan questioned curiously and when he got no answer, he walked past him and headed into the establishment where he was immediately assaulted by the obnoxious music that made his head feel like it was being pounded from the inside by a rampaging Brute.
"Wasn't that blackmail?"
"No, I believe he was Caucasian."
As they headed deeper into the building and where the music was coming from, Six felt his eyes beginning to water from the flashing strobe lights. Blinking to adjust to the sudden light change, he scanned the room to see that it was filled with people that were either leaning on the stage and stuffing money into the dancer's undergarments, which personally he felt must have been uncomfortable... why not just hand the woman an envelope? Or were leaning back in the armchairs and sipping on their drinks.
"Hey, handsome." Assuming that they were talking to somebody else, Six ignored the voice and continued scanning the room before he heard a gentle cough and looked down to see a woman smiling up at him.
The woman in question had straight shoulder-length dark brown hair, dark smoky eyes, a deep tan, and dark lipstick. She was wearing a neckless that could be considered ostentatious. A dark purple corset and underwear that he personally thought looked a little small for her and was wearing high heels with purple straps that ran up her legs.
"I don't think I've seen you around before, handsome." The woman smiled as she drunk in his form and liked what she saw. "I'm Sapphire."
"Nice to meet you, Sapphire." Six greeted offering his hand out to her, oblivious to the fact that Charles was using every ounce of willpower not to look down at her rather large breasts that were only attributed by the corset and looked directly into her eyes as if his life depended on it. "You wouldn't happen to work here?"
"What gave me away?" Sapphire simpered as she shook his hand and smiled coyly up at him. "Was it the uniform?" she teased pulling her hand back.
"Something like that," Six commented still unaware of Charles doing a good impression of somebody trying to keep their head above water. "Are you not cold walking around like that?"
Sapphire raised a delicate brow, clearly not expecting it but answered regardless. "The customers generally prefer us to wear as little as possible... and since that's what draws the crowds in, so does my boss."
"Well, your health and comfort should be a top priority." Six told her making Sapphire smile.
"Funny and cute." Sapphire giggled as she looked up at the scarred detective. "You really do seem to be the full package." She added mischievously. "So, tell me Detective." She said glancing down spotted his badge connected to his belt. "Are you here on business or pleasure?" She asked leaning in to give him a better look at her tits in hopes of enticing him.
"Business," Six answered, slightly curious as to why Sapphire was leaning in. Initially, he thought that she might have been trying to tell him something in confidence but seeing as how she wasn't whispering, he dismissed that assumption. "You wouldn't happen to know a Robert Hanes?"
The second that Jericho mentioned the name of the suspect, Charles noticed that her entire flirtatious demeanour disappeared, and she wrinkled her nose like she had smelt something putrid... or just walked into the bathroom after Scully and Hitchcock had finished their lunch; something he wouldn't wish even on his worst enemy.
"Yeah, I know him." Sapphire replied stiffly crossing her arms. "He's one of our regulars."
"You don't sound particularly happy about that," Charles finally spoke up for the first time since they had entered the strip club with Sapphire suddenly noticing him standing there as she turned her head to look at him.
"I guess you could say," Sapphire told him. "He has a habit of getting handsy with me and the other girls."
"He beats you?"
"No," Sapphire answered Charles shaking her head. "But he often gets excited and tries copping a feel. Though in his defence that's pretty normal here."
"You've never pressed charges?"
"If we pressed charges on every guy that got excited, we'd have been out of business years ago." Sapphire stated with a laugh. "It comes with the territory." She finished with a shrug.
"It shouldn't."
"You're a funny one," Sapphire giggled playfully.
"I aim to please," Six commented getting a coquettish smirk from Sapphire. "Would you happen to know if Robert Hanes has been in today?"
"He's always here," Sapphire droned as she turned and pointed over to the far side of the room. "That's him there," she said unaware of what her simply action would have on Charles as he unintentionally looked down and felt a little lightheaded when he saw her bare butt cheeks that were on display due to the thong she was wearing.
Looking over to where Sapphire was pointing, Six saw four men sitting around a circular table and watching the dancers on stage whilst drinking alcoholic beverages and otherwise just having a good time if their laughing and grins were anything to go by.
"Thank you, Sapphire. Your assistance has been appreciated," Six thanked her sincerely before turning to his partner. "Let's go, Charles."
"Happy to help," Sapphire replied with a smile. "Maybe I'll see you again... hopefully under better circumstances."
It was unlikely that the two would ever cross paths again and he really had no intention of returning to this establishment; that being said, he saw no reason to be discourteous. "Maybe." He said getting another smile from her. "Farewell, Sapphire."
Saying his goodbyes to Sapphire, Six glanced over at Charles and nodded giving him the signal before taking the lead and made his way through the room. Navigating his way through the large crowd that had gathered, which he found surprising considering that it was Monday afternoon and these people should have been at their place of employment, he walked over to the table that was apparently occupied by Robert Hanes."
As he neared the table, the Spartan tuned out the music and with his augmented hearing focused on the voices. "So, what do you think?"
"I can make the IDs...but are you sure it's gonna work?"
"I've got the account numbers and passwords. If we've got the drivers licenses that say that we're the guys, then as far as the bank's concerned, we're the guys." One of the men, who he suspected to be Hanes, told the others incriminating himself as they discussed scheme out in the open.
"What if they, uh, recognize one of us?"
"I specifically chose clients from out of town. Most of them have never even set foot inside of the bank."
"Aright. But if this goes pear-shaped, it's on you."
"Relax, dude. I've been doing this a long time. And I never make mistakes." The man said confidently... or overconfidently, some would say as Six and Charles approached the table.
"Are you Robert Hanes?" Six questioned as he stopped in front of the table and looked directly at the man that he suspected to be Hanes.
"Who's asking..." Hanes voiced trailed off as he looked up and noticed the badge connected to Six's belt making the colour drain from his cheeks before looking up and staring directly in the intense blue eyes that seemed to stare into his very soul making a chill run down his spine.
The Spartan-III commando watched as his shoulders stiffed and his eyes twitched as he glanced over to the entrance of the building. Recognising the signs, he tried to deter him from doing anything stupid. "Don't..." Alas, his warning came too little too late as Hanes grabbed his bottle and threw it at him sending beer across the room.
Intercepting the bottle as beer splashed over him, Six brought his other arm up and blocked a punch with his elbow. A sicking crunch rang out, followed by a scream as the thug that punch him held their now broken hand revealing his dislocated fingers and knuckles that had caved in. As the screaming persisted, it was quickly silenced as Six grabbed him by the back of his head and rammed his face through the wooden table knocking him out.
"One."
Seeing Hanes fleeing towards the fire exit, Six flipped the bottle then bowled it across the floor and watched as it rolled underneath Robert's foot tripping him making him fall back and knock himself out as his head slammed into the ground.
"Two."
As Hanes knocked himself out, Six turned in the direction of the third that pulled out a switchblade and started waving it to intimidate him. Bringing his arm up, B312 goaded him into attacking him by wiggling his fingers doing the come-on gesture.
Reacting just as he anticipated, the super soldier dictated the battle by making them come to him. Leaning back as they slashed at him, the tip of the blade cut his vest slightly. As he tried to slash him again, he grabbed their wrist and applying a bit of pressure forced them to their knees and cried out in pain as he slowly crushed the carpus making them drop the switchblade and started digging their nails into his hand to make him let go.
As the third started punching, hitting, and clawing at the Spartans hand to pry him off, Six looked over at the fourth who looked like a deer caught in the headlights. However, before they could even entertain the idea of trying to get the hell out of there.
"NYPD, put your hands above your head!" Charles commanded pointing his gun at the fourth once he had shaken off his stupor after watching as Jericho took out three of the four criminals within a matter of seconds.
"Alright, man, alright!" The fourth cried out as he placed his hands behind his head and dropped to his knees. "Just don't let that one near me!" He all but begged nodding his head aggressively in Jericho's direction fearing for his safety.
Looking up once the conflict had been resolved, Six looked up to see that the room was as silent as the grave as everyone looked at both him and Charles. "Police business. Go back to your drinks." He told them before looking over at Charles to see him cuffing the fourth thug and telling them their rights as he pulled them to their feet.
Tearing his eyes away from Charles, Six returned his attention to the third thug who was still wriggling in pain. Letting go of his carpus, the thug sighed in relief before he was pulled to his feet, turned around and his hands were pulled behind his back as Six placed the cuffs on him.
"You're under arrest for Conspiracy to Commit Robbery and Fraud, and Aggravated Assault. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you. Do you understand the rights I have just read you?" Six asked getting a nod from him. "With these rights in mind, do you wish to speak to me?"
"Speak to you?! I'm going to be fucking Sueing you for everything you have, cop!" The thug spat angrily writhing in the cuffs. "You almost broken my fucking wrist, you damned psycho!"
"I passed my mental evaluation exam." Six replied calmly as he held the criminal in place.
"Yeah? Well maybe you should take it again, you fricking nutcase!"
"No need," Six informed him. "My next evaluation exam is not scheduled for another few months." He added before looking at Charles. "You good?" Satisfied when he got a nod from his fellow detective, he called for a Police Van to come and collect the criminals from the club and take them back to the station so they could be interrogated; although it was really only Robert Hanes he needed to speak too.
"Good news everyone!" Charles addressed the entire room as he and Jericho stepped out of the elevator and walked into the Bullpen where the rest of the squad were...well, everybody apart from Terry who was surprisingly absent. "Jericho is no longer a virgin!"
Jake blinked and shook his head as he looked up from his desk not sure if he had heard him right. "Wait, what?" He asked slowly, wondering if staring at the screen and digitalizing the files to the NYPD databanks like Holt had ordered him to after side benching him was beginning to affect his brain.
"That's right, Jake." Charles chirped as he patted Jericho's arm. "Jericho had his very first burger." He informed his best friend as the room collectively groaned.
"Why would you phrase it like that?" Amy blurted out after getting past her initial shock that Jericho of all people could be a virgin.
"How else would I phrase it, Amy?" Charles asked making a face at her, one that she didn't appreciate if the dull look she sent him was any indication.
"Oh, I don't know, maybe just say that he hasn't had one before?" Rosa droned sarcastically as she sat at her desk with a bored look. "But seriously, how have you never eaten a burger before?"
"Because I've never brought one, Rosalita." Six told her casually as he glanced at the dark-haired Latina.
"What happened to your vest?" Rosa quizzed noticing the cut through it.
"Worried?"
"Disappointed." Rosa corrected with a smirk. "Pity they didn't finish the job."
"Always next time."
"Is that a promise?" Rosa smirked at him getting a blank look back.
"I'm still trying to get over the fact that you've never had a burger before," Jake admitted pulling both Jericho and Rosa from their discussion. "What sort of traumatic childhood did you have?" He asked and was confused when Charles did a slicing motion across his neck to silence him.
Unfortunately, before Jake could say anything else or Jericho could answer him, Captain Holt walked out of his office. "Detective Reach, a word in my office please."
"Uh-oh," Jake grinned playfully at Jericho. "Sounds like somebody is in trouble," he practically sang out. "What'd you do?" He asked eagerly only to pout when Jericho seemingly ignored him and followed Holt into his office and closed the door behind them.
"What was that about?" Amy asked the obvious question.
"It was probably about Jericho breaking one of the suspects hands and smashing another through a table at the strip club."
"Hot." Rosa practically growled making the others back away.
"Wait, Jericho did what?" Amy did a double take as she repeated what Charles said in her head.
"Ah, man," Jake pouted and slumped in his seat. "How come you guys get to go to a strip club?"
"Really? That's what you're taking from this?"
"Err, yeah," Jake told Amy who rolled her eyes at him. "I'm stuck behind this stupid computer and Charles and Jericho not only got to a Strip Club but also knock some heads... how is that fair?" He asked as Rosa concurred, although the part that interested her the most was the knocking some heads bit.
"Maybe if you weren't in a slump," Amy smugly reminded him.
"Well, I might be in a slump... But at least I can sleep knowing that I haven't let the captain down." Jake shot back and instantly got underneath Amy's skin. "Anywho's," he suddenly changed the subject before Amy could retort. "What was that slicing motion all about?" He asked looking at Charles.
"Well, I didn't exactly get the whole story but when Jericho's car appeared on its own..."
"Appeared on its own?"
"Jericho never explained how appeared, but we were standing outside the precinct and his Chevelle was driving itself and pulled up outside." Charles informed Amy who raised a dark brow naturally as confused as everyone else.
"Don't you mean the Dodge?"
"No, a black Chevrolet Chevelle with white racing strips." Charles told Rosa who looked very interested. "Anyway, it just pulled up outside. And we started talking...well, admittedly I did most of the talking and when I compared his car to Herbie..."
"Who?"
Charles looked like he had been physically hit when Rosa, just like Jericho had no idea what was talking about. "The Love Bug!" Again, there was a blank expression across her beautiful features. "The anthropomorphic 1963 Volkswagen Beetle that has appeared in several Disney Films?!"
"Yeah, I don't watch those lame movies." That sentence alone nearly broke his poor little heart as he covered his mouth with his trembling hand confusing her. "What?"
"It's alright, Charles. It's alright," Jake immediately comforted his best friend. "You've got to have a heart to watch those movies." He said making Rosa roll her eyes at the pair of them. "Anyway, you were saying?"
"We're talking about Herbie... well, I was talking about it where I learned that Jericho had never watched those films either," Charles revealed to the others. "And while we were talking, I learned that his parents are dead; and I get the feeling they have been for a long time. Not only that..."
"Come on, tell us already!" Amy cried out enthusiastically, excited to learn more about Jericho who like Rosa kept a tight lid on his personal life.
"Apparently every member of his family is dead too. He also said that he hasn't got the time or the desire to start an intimate relationship." Charles explained leaving Amy disappointed.
"What about causal sex?" Gina asked literally appearing out of nowhere making Charles jump.
"Gina?!" Charles cried out as he held his pounding heart. "Where did you come from?"
"I've always been here, sweetness." Gina giggled at him, greatly enjoying putting the fear of Gina into him. "And you never answered my question."
"He never said."
"So, you're telling me there's a chance."
"I guess," Charles shrugged back. "Jericho also mentioned that he didn't have any friends left... I didn't press any further, but I get the feeling that he was implying that they were dead too."
"That's so sad," Amy whispered sadly. "Guess it makes sense why he keeps to himself so much and why he doesn't want to spend any time with us both inside and outside of work." She added suddenly feeling miserable.
"Wait, what about the people he worked with before coming here?" Jake inquired speaking up. "They can't all be dead now... I mean it would've been on the news."
"He said that they were associates," Charles told him. "Just like everyone here at the Nine-Nine."
"Well, that's not hurtful at all."
"You wished to speak to me, Sir?" Six stated emotionally as he stood before Captain Holt with his arms rested behind his back and waited to be dressed down by his superior officer for his actions earlier that day, assuming of course that was why he had been
"Hmmm," Holt nodded as he sat down and gestured for Jericho to do the same. "According to the officers that brought in Robert Hanes, Thomas Smith, Justin Akiles, another was sent to hospital to treat his injuries... injuries that were inflicted by you. Explain."
"Would you like a quick synopsis or a detailed overview of the murder of Bryan Murphy?"
"Quite the bold claim," Holt remarked leaning back in his chair and interlocked his fingers together.
"Perhaps," Six concurred with a nod. "But conducting the investigation with Detective Boyle, the probability of Bryan Murphy's cause of death being Accidental is dubious."
"How so?"
"Too many inconsistences." Six answered judiciously. "First off, the blood splatter around the body indicates a high velocity impact that would take a higher fall than simply falling through the glass ceiling. Upon further investigation, Charles and myself determined that Bryan Murphey fell through the stone railings atop the building that overlooked the Plaza that were friable," He explained getting an understanding nod from his superior officer.
"The trajectory was also inconsistent with where the body fell. If Bryan Murphy had simply slipped and fallen, he would have hit the vents rather than smashing through the roof of Alexandria Plaza. The only way to reach where he ultimately fell, he would have had to been pushed, and rather forcefully too."
"And where does Robert Hanes and his associates come in?"
"While scanning the rooftop where Bryan Murphy was pushed, I discovered a briefcase laying atop one of the vents and after getting it swabbed for prints, the Criminalistics discovered two sets of fingerprints."
"Bryan Murphy and Robert Hanes."
"Affirmative," Six nodded once again. "Using the NYPD database, I located Hanes last known location which happened to be the Gentlemen's Club known as the Dirty Guset and headed straight there."
"I must say, I am averse to the name."
"I agree, the name only brings opprobrium with it and little else," Six voiced getting a nod from Holt. "Arriving at the Dirty Guset, we encountered some difficulties with the bouncers but nothing that we couldn't handle and headed inside where we were greeted by one of the employees known as Sapphire. Following a short conversation with her, she pointed out Robert Hanes and his associates to us."
"Walking over to them, I heard them discussing about making IDs, along with the paperwork and passwords to steal from what I can only speculate to be the Alexandria Bank, which Bryan Murphy was the Account Manager before his death."
"And you believe that Bryan Murphy was killed because of this?"
"I do not wish to jump to conclusions, but I believe that Murphy was either involved or Hanes killed him to get access to the Account Numbers and passwords necessary to steal from the bank." Six elucidated. "Once Charles and I reached the table, I asked which of the four men was Robert Hanes, he panicked upon seeing my badge and threw a bottle at me and tried to flee."
"As he did, one of his associates tried punching me which I intercepted and blocked with my elbow. Due to the force behind the punch, I shattered his fist and dislocated his fingers before neutralizing the threat by slamming his head through the table."
"Do you believe that was necessary?"
"If he had been unaccompanied, I would have simply placed him in a choke hold to subdue him... but as I said, there was a total of four of them." Six explained justifying his actions. "Using the bottle that was thrown at me, I rolled it on the floor tripping Hanes as he tried to flee resulting in him falling down and knocking him out in the process. The third criminal then pulled out a switchblade with the intent of using it against me,"
"And judging by your torn attire, I assume that he did." Holt remarked gesturing to his torn vest.
"Affirmative," Six confirmed with a nod. "Albeit, in his defence I did goad him into attacking."
"Psychological manipulation?"
"Indeed," The Spartan confirmed. "He had a knife and inside a room filled with several people that could be taken as hostages at a moment's notice. I felt that it would be prudent to antagonize him into attacking me."
"And if he had stabbed you?"
"It would have stung, Captain."
"You're being facetious."
"I'm being factual."
"Hmmm."
"With your permission, I would like to interrogate Robert Hanes further and discover why he killed Bryan Murphy; even if I already have my own hypothesis." Six stated with Holt contemplating his request for a few moments before nodding.
"Very well. I'll have Robert Hanes moved to the Interrogation Room." Holt told Jericho getting a nod from him. "Dismissed."
Without saying a word, Six got up out of the seat and headed towards the exit to collect Charles and interrogate Robert Hanes. Hopefully his little rest and the trip in the back of the Police Van had been enough to loosen his tongue.
And cut! Here is the next chapter of The Demon of the Nine-Nine! I hoped you all enjoyed it. Again, not too much happened this chapter but at least the squad have finally learned something about Six/Jericho that might come up next chapter or they might just keep it to themselves for the time being.
