As Dite sat by the fire in the common room reading the book that was delivered from an unknown person, she rolled her eyes at the Marauders as they discussed who of them would set the record of most detentions given at Hogwarts through all 7 years of attendance. She knew in her time that Sirius won due to James growing a brain when it came to lily sometime next year. If she remembered correctly Sirius won by at least 30 detentions giving him a total of 86 detentions. She only knew that because McGonagall one day lost it when she gave Harry a detention for something or other, and asked if he was going to live up to his father's 68 detentions or Sirius's 86.

Many have tried to out live their allowed life spans. There have been many attempts at creating the Philosophers stone in attempted to become immortal.

Dite rolled her eyes at the memory of getting pasted Hagrid's three-headed-dog Fluffy, saving Ron from Devil snare; a plant that she thought shouldn't be anywhere near students, the charmed flying keys, playing a human size Wizards chess game, all three of them believing that the person that wanted the stone was Snape, but it turning out to be Quirrell. That bit of information was what she never got, how could one become almost like a parasite living off another and Unicorn blood. She knew the Philosophers stone granted a longer life, just not complete immortality.

Many thought that creating objects such as paintings that grew older as you stayed young was a way to living longer. But both of those options both had drawback.

Ever action had either and equal or greater opposite reaction, or at least that is what she was taught in the muggle world, it actually amazed her how much the third Newton's law worked here in the wizarding world. Every time you change a slight procedure of a potion you can change the outcome of said potion. The same with working with charms and other spells, some times the reactions where small, others the reaction is explosive. She couldn't remember how many times the twins set fire to their dorms, their bedroom at home, or the spare classroom they used or even the room of requirement.

The only wizard that was close to finding a way to immortality was a Greek Wizard known as Herpo the Foul in Ancient Greece. He had an object that went against the natures and concepts of the magic's of ancient time. That object was called.

Seeing that the next page was ripped from the book, she threw it on the table infront of her in frustration.

"Entelos achristo!" She groaned covering her eyes, thinking it was to bad that there wasn't a spell to repair what wasn't there to repair.

"What did that book ever do to you Aphrodite?" Sirius asked.

Peeking through the fingers that covered her eyes, she sighed; "It was mostly useless, a page is missing." She explained before pushing herself off the chair.

"Where you going?" Peter asked.

"I'm heading to the library." She received groans from three of the four boys.

"You spend all your time there, worse then Remus, My Aphrodite." Sirius got up and threw his arm around her.

"Sirius, how many times do I have to ask you to call me Dite?" She raised an eyebrow at him.

"More then likely for the rest of time with that one, Dite." James laughed at Sirius's glare.

"Dite isn't as nice as Aphrodite." He said wiggling his eyebrows at her.

"Why do you smell like wet dog?" She asked as she caught his new cologne he must have gotten.

"What?" He asked wide-eyed and began to smell his shirt.

"Who did it?" He accused the other three boys who busted up laughing at her question as she held her nose.

"Man, I thought it would take longer." James asked handing over a few gallions to Remus who was grinning wickedly at the black haired boy.

"I was sure it would take longer." Peter groaned handing over gallions to Remus as well.

"I said as soon as Dite got a whiff of him, he would notice." Remus shrugged at Sirius's misfortune.

Once the boy had gotten over the shock that his friends had pulled a prank on him, his shock turned to annoyance as he threw himself at the other three. Giving her the perfect moment to leave the common room. She knew that it couldn't have been Gideon or Fabian who ripped the page out as they said that the book would only open up to her wand. They checked it for any enchantments before giving it back to her. Maybe it was ripped out by the owner, or the owner before them, she still had no clue who had sent the book to her. It was curious though, who really knew what she was reading about. Sirius was oblivious to her interest in immortality, Remus had asked her about it once, she explained it was one of the things she was looking forward to this year at the institute to learn, and the only other person who knew was the Black that watched everyone. Regulus said looking into immortality would bring both those of the dark side and the light to notice her.

As Dite walked to the Library, she happened upon a few of the Ravenclaw girls in her year.

"I don't know how Prewett does it." The girl Dite knew as Olive Brown, Lavender Brown's Aunt.

"It's true, she has the Marauders and the Slytherin Black wrapped." Rita gossiped.

"She must be giving it to all of them, seeing as she isn't that much to look at." A girl she hadn't the pleasure of speaking to said laughing.

Dite stepped up behind the girls clearing her,

" Xerete gia anthropous pou einai pithanos exypnos, eisteoloi asafeis." Dite said, causing the three gossips to jump in surprise.

"I'm sorry we don't speak foreign." Olive sneered at her.

"Well I said; you know for people who are supposedly smart, you are all dim witted." Dite shrugged as though she couldn't believe they just sneered because she spoke a language they didn't know.

"Dim witted, haha, that's rich coming from a girl that's taken the interest of four of the most eligible boys in school." Rita forge laughter.

"Well, maybe it's because I have class and you don't." Dite said walking around them as the processed what she said.

Dite knew that in both this time and her past time, that girls could be meaner then a Kelpie that swam in the black lake with the giant squid. Lavender was the worst of them all, spreading rumors about her to the other girls after the Yule Ball. After everything that she learned from Mad-Eye Moody in fourth year even if it was an imposter who was teaching, being at the headquarters, what she learned from Harry during DA, and the battle in the Department of Mysteries, she could sense when someone was about to throw a curse or spell at her. She visualizes the Protago charmed shield in her mind, wandlessly and wordlessly casted the shield in time to have the curse Olive sent her way to rebound back to her.

"She casted dark magic." The other girl gasped.

"How dim are you? I casted the Protago charm." She sighed.

"I didn't see you draw your wand." Rita looked scared.

"At the institute, they taught us how to cast spells wandlessly third year and silent our fourth you dim bat." She explained shacking her head at the three that scurried away like scared mice.

It wasn't the first time she had called anyone a dim bat, but those girls were exceedingly dim for Ravenclaw. They where busy trying to one up themselves in the socialite circle of the wizarding world to really pay attention to others. As she entered the library, she nodded to a young Madam Prince, who she still couldn't believe was so young now, but looked much older then she was in her past. The older women nodded with out smiling as Dite entered the restriction section to look over the books again.

She was sure that there had to be something on Herpo the Foul in the restriction section. She couldn't recall ever hearing about the man in History of Magic in her past, but maybe it was someone they learned about later in their sixth or seventh year. Which was a possibility, even with her reading through the higher levels of magic. She skimmed the books as she pulled on out after another. She finally found one that might be promising, taking it to her table she sat down and began reading it.

She found what she was looking for when she got to the Greek section.

The first recorded Basilisk was bred by Herpo the Foul, a Greek Dark wizard and Parselmouth, who discovered after much experimentation that a chicken egg hatched beneath a toad would produce a gigantic serpent, possessed of extraordinarily dangerous powers.

Dite was shocked when she saw the picture of a basilisk next to the font it was the same book that she found the information in for Harry back in second year. Reading further, she became engrossed in the book.

In addition, he acquired a great understanding of the nature of the soul, and how murder affected it. Armed with his knowledge, and ruthlessness, he deliberately committed murder with the intention of splitting his soul, and subsequently sealed it inside an object with Dark Magic, becoming the first known wizard to successfully create a Horcrux.

Here she might have found the answers to her questions about the stupid diary that she was trying to recreate with charms and enchantments. The diary was none of the charms or enchantments she tried to place upon a journal to possibly recreate Tom Riddle's Diary. The reason why Harry was able to see the past when he was brought into the diary was because it was a piece of Voldimort's soul. That's if he found this entry and read it fully before venturing to the Chamber of Secrets. How many did he create? Was it just one? If so how was he able to come back to life in her forth year still if Harry destroyed the diary 2 years prior? So many questions but again no answeres yet. Dite got up and place the book back, and began the long walk up to the tower, thinking in her own little world of questions she was looking for answers for. But now she had an answer to the riddle of Tom Riddle's Diary that she didn't before. She was planning on writing Mana about it before she continued to look for more answers. Maybe they could send Dumbledore a letter with Horcrux on the partchment to give him a clue to what the Dark lord was up to. Would that be to criptic? She didn't have time to wonder about that as she unknowingly crashed into someone, causing them to both fall back wards. Her hair falling in her face, as she sat up, she brushed her hair back as a voice asked.

"Have a talent for knocking a wizard of their feet?"

Hello my Lovelies:)

Hopefully this was another enjoyable chapter for you all as I had a bit of fun writing it. As you read you may notice a bit of Hermione's boldness coming through Dite's shy personality the more she gets comfortable in the Marauders time. Also just a reminder the poll for the ship for this story ends tomorrow. I hope you all enjoy the wittiness of this chapter. :)

Alyssa Deliv- It is good to see her acting like a girl instead of trying to save Harry and Ron all the time. That was how I wanted to write her in this story, so that if anyone questions the "fake" backstory she knows too much for it not to be true. I'm glade that you feel that way with any of the ships :)

AprilJuneMay- I see you are completely team Remus in this story :) That is an interesting thought; I'll have to see how this story goes to see what happens.

Millie14352626171- I would have to agree with that, it would be interesting to see Sirius's reaction to the ship of Regulus and Hermione.

ElianaxIsabella- I'm thrilled that you are enjoying the story so far. I'm also thrilled for your impute about a Bata, I just never worked with one before.
