Chapter 3 Trade Bait
Yuya, Yuzu, and Yuni are walking on the road to school, and Yuzu is staring into the cards that she has: Blooming Melody Pendulum Dragon, Assemble Wings Flying Dragon, Arctic Blizzard Wind Dragon, and Lunar Eclipse Moonlight Dragon.
Yuzu says, "I can't believe this...not only do I have a soul inside me, but I also have these cards, Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, and even Pendulum..."
Yuya says, "Ray is actually a strong duelist, though I was also surprised that she puts data inside your bracelet just like our pendants."
Yuni says, "However, you haven't learned any of the Extra Deck Summonings before, so we will have to teach you how to do it."
"Please do." Yuzu nods. Just then, they notice a black-haired girl that ties her hair into a ponytail, wearing a black jacket that looks like the school one Yuya wears, while beside the uniform, she also has a ghost bracelet on her hand. She is sitting at the bay reading books.
"Brother, Yuzu, you guys can go first, I'll catch up to you later." Yuni says.
"Sure. Don't be late." Yuzu says as they leave first.
Yuni skips to the girl and says, "Hey, Vivian."
Vivian turns around and faces her, she is surprised as she asks, "Yuni, it is so great to see you again. But aren't you going to school with Yuya?"
"Yeah, but I tell him and Yuzu to go first. By the way, how is the orphanage?" Yuni asks.
"Well, it is getting worse every day, I can only read my Dad's novel here at this time in the place…" Vivian says. "But I have just finished it, let's go to school."
As they are on the way, Yuni says, "You know, how about I tell my mother to adopt you as our sister?"
Vivian says, "You have already told me since we met. But I still don't know, I don't want to give you a burden since your father is missing."
Yuni says, "Aw… but seriously, what does that orphanage attract to you?"
Vivian stops her feet and thinks, "Come to think of it, I don't know, it is just that I lived there for many years…"
As they arrive at the school gate, Yuni says, "Don't worry, I'll let you think, for now, how about giving a reply after school?" Then she leaves.
Vivian sighs and looks at a card, "Why must she be so persistent?"
In the last class, Yuya has fallen asleep in the middle of class, muttering "Pendulum" between snores.
"Yuya…" Yuzu looks worried at her friend.
Just then, their math teacher calls on Yuya and says, "Sakaki Yuya! What is the answer to this problem?"
To Yuzu's surprise, Yuya is still asleep.
"Sakaki! Sakaki Yuya?!" The teacher yells his name again and he promptly wakes up.
Yuya jumps from his seat and says, " I activate Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician in the Pendulum Zones!"
Then he realizes that this isn't at You Show right now. Unsatisfied, the teacher gets right up into Yuya's face and asks, "And your excuse is?"
Yuya replies, "Um… my excuse is the right one!"
Yuzu smacks him in the head with the paper fan and says, "Stupid Yuya! That's NEVER the right one!" This earns a laugh from the classmates and a groan from a Teacher.
After school, Yuni says, "Geez, I knew that you've been staying up late trying to learn everything as possible for Pendulum Summoning, but you shouldn't go daydreaming about it in class..."
"No need to get mad at me. Besides, you got off a funny punchline because of it, right?"
"That isn't the problem here." Yuzu says.
Just then, they see Tatsuya, Ayu, and Futoshi waiting for them in front of the school gate.
"Oh, hey, guys." Yuya says.
Futoshi asks, "Big Brother Yuya, is that true that you used a new summoning method?"
Tatsuya asks, "Can you please show us?"
Yuya says, "Sure, let's get back to You Show to do that."
Yuni says, "You guys can go first since I have to find someone." Yuni then runs off. Ayu asks, "Who is Big sister Yuni finding?"
Yuya sighs, "I guess it is her again…"
Yuzu asks, "Who?"
"I'll tell you." Yuya says, but just then, three sucker-tipped darts hit Yuya on the face.
Yuzu asks, "Wh-what the..."
"A triple bullseye! 150 points!" A boy walks in front of them, and he has blonde hair. "Pretty impressive, right?"
"Bullseye?" Yuya asks with confusion.
"You're Sakaki Yuya, aren't you? I'm Sawatari Shingo from Class 1, nice to meet you." Sawatari says.
Yuya recognizes this guy as one of the students in LDS, but from what he has heard, he is always boosting his ego a lot, but something is not right now.
"I saw it on TV, it was amazing, your duel against Strong Ishijima, that is!" Sawatari says while taking the darts off. "Especially that Pendulum Summon, that was the best. What were those cards you used for it called again?"
"You mean the Pendulum Cards?" Yuya asks.
"Like I thought, rare cards like those are only usable by truly chosen people, right?" Sawatari asks.
"Sawatari-kun, you don't have to flatter Yuya this much." Yuzu says.
"No, no, I truly believe that!" Sawatari says as Yuya is a little flustered, but still, he thinks that something is not right.
Yuzu turns to Yuya, "Yuya, didn't you say you were going to show Tatsuya and the others a live Pendulum Summon?"
"You know what? I have a better idea. How about we show you guys a Pendulum Summon for a fitting stage for it?" Yuya asks, remembering the deal with Reiji.
"That's right, until 5, we can use the LDS Center Court. I've got a reservation." Sawatari says.
"Wait, you mean the LDS Center Court? You have booked it?" Yuzu asks in surprise.
"Of course, I'm the top student at LDS after all." Sawatari says while showing the badge. "My father is also expected to be our next mayor as well. I just asked him and he gladly gave it to me."
Yuya thinks, "Top student in Advance Summon, that one I can't deny. And Reiji only agrees because he wants to see me doing Pendulum Summon as well."
"At the LDS Center Court!" Tatsuya exclaims.
"A Pendulum Summon!" Ayu adds.
"Awesome! I'm getting shivers!" Futoshi says.
Yuzu is unimpressed as she mutters, "It's not like we can't do it our place too, you know."
"But Big Sis Yuzu. It's THE LDS Center Court!" Futoshi says as the other two nods in agreement.
Yuzu sighs and says, "Fine, I get it, but I'm going too, then. But only as a member of a rival Dueling School to check out the competition!"
Yuya frowns a little, he is secretly a member of LDS as he has the badge, but he decides not to spill it out. Sawatari says, "I thought you'd say that. Now, shall we go?"
As they all go, Sawatari just smirks as everything is going the plan. As for Yuya, he decides to call Yuni.
"So you're going to LDS today." Yuni says through the phone. "I won't be seeing your duel, but I'm sure you'll be fine."
"I definitely will. See you back in You Show." After that Yuya ends the call and mutters, "I just hope everything is fine..."
When they finally arrive at LDS, everyone is amazed at the interior, and Sawatari is explaining how LDS, Leo Duel School, is run by the Leo Corporation. However, attending the school itself is invitation-only.
"And with the help of our Vice Presidents of the school, we also have a lot of courses for summoning." Sawatari says. "However, only the best student in the course can be taught under them, so their identities are also secrets."
"Sounds like the Vice Presidents are amazing." Ayu says.
"I'm getting a lot of shivers." Futoshi adds.
Yuya is looking around until he notices a boy walking past them, and the boy is wearing a uniform that looks familiar, much to his surprise.
"The Center Court is this way." Sawatari says as they finally arrive at the court. When they arrive, the children marvel at the court's massive size.
Futoshi says, "I've always wanted to see the LDS Center Court!"
Shortly after this, three more boys approach the group, and one of them greets them.
"These guys are also fans of Yuya's as well. Could we show them those cards? Could we show them those Pendulum Cards, the ones you use to Pendulum Summon?"
Yuya knows something is not right, and Sawatari adds, "It will be only for a short while."
Yuya decides to show them Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician, Sawatari snatches them from Yuya's hand and promptly shows them off to the trio who came after them.
"These are the cards you used to Pendulum Summon?" The brown-haired boy asks.
"I would really want to have these!" The green-haired boy adds.
"We can't have that, these aren't yours." Sawatari says as he takes the cards back. "After all, these are going to be added to my collection."
"I knew it." Yuya says unamused.
"What do you mean by that?" Yuzu asks angrily.
"See, I just love rare and strong cards, I just hate putting weak cards in my deck." Sawatari says. "So I'll be taking these off your hands now."
"So that's why you called us out here." Yuzu says.
"Not just for these, since I have them now, I'd like to try them out! You guys want to see a Pendulum Summon, right?" Sawatari asks the boys, who nod in agreement.
Yuya is now typing a message to Reiji, telling him how this is not in the plan.
"Besides, everyone came all this way to see Pendulum Summon, doesn't it?" As he finishes his sentence, he approaches Yuya, pulls his goggles, and snaps them back on his face, causing him to fall back.
Sawatari asks, "What now? Do you not want to duel with someone like me?"
Yuya says, "Yesterday, I was told I will be having a Duel with a member of LDS, but I was not told that you would be stealing 2 of my Pendulum Cards."
"Yuya, what do you mean?" Yuzu asks.
"Even if you take two of my Pendulum Cards, I still have 19 to 20 more Pendulum Cards as well." Yuya says. "After all, my deck is based on Pendulum Monsters."
Sawatari is surprised to learn the whole truth, and Yuya mocks, "I'll let you try them in this duel, but those are not your cards, and you won't be able to use them to defeat me."
"You..." Sawatari is a little angry as he has two of his lackeys grab Yuzu, while the third grabs the children.
"Let them go!" Yuya yells at him.
"Don't worry, I'm just having them help out with the duel." Sawatari says. "Since I feel bad for just taking them." He throws a set of cards to the ground and says, "Here, I'll give you all of these. They're TRASH cards that fit you perfectly."
Yuya is now furious, he and his sister made those cards and he just called them trash and disrespect them, he picks up two of the cards and adds them to the deck.
Back at the office, Reisho is furious as he says, "Yuya and Yuni made those cards for them to use, and he just treated them like trash? This is unforgivable. When this is done, I order you guys to give him detention."
Reiji says, "But right now, let's see how Yuya goes through this duel."
Sawatari says, "I'll decide the field. The setting that "imprisons feeble princesses", rise up here and now! Action Field on! Dark Town's Prison Tower!"
The Solid Vision machine conjures up chains that surround Yuzu and the children. Yuya thinks, "Damn it...this field is filled with Action Traps..."
"The princess should be imprisoned in the tower, don't you agree?"
Yuya runs away from Sawatari, jumping from building to building as he tries to make his way to his friends. Before he can get to them, a water canal and the tower's great height separates the two parties.
"What is going on here?" Futoshi asks as the tower is still rising.
"The Solid Vision has started materializing so we're being affected by it too!" Tatsuya explains.
"But this is TOO real!" Futoshi exclaims. The tower reaches its highest point, as part of a bridge.
"If you want your friends back, then duel me." Sawatari says.
"Fine, I'll duel you." Yuya says as he activates his Duel Disk. He also notices that Sawatari has already upgraded his Duel Disk for the use of Pendulum Summon, so he decides to call Reiji.
"Reiji! Did you know that he's going to steal my Pendulum Cards on purpose? That's why you gave him the Duel Mod for Pendulum Summon?" Yuya asks through the phone.
Reiji replies, "I wasn't expecting that he would steal the cards, however, I was watching everything and you did say that you permit him to use those two cards in this duel. So I just asked the staff to do this."
Yuya sighs, "I trust you in this one, if I lost my deck then I'm going to fire this guy from LDS even though he has his father's power."
"Don't worry, we will be giving him a punishment for stealing and disrespecting cards." Reisho adds.
Then after the Dueling Chant, the Duel finally begins. "Duel!" (Yuya:4000)(Sawatari:4000)
Yuya runs past Sawatari and yells, "I'll go first! I summon Entermate Whip Viper! (ATK:1700/DEF:900 LV:4)
Yuya enters a building, runs upstairs, and has Whip Viper coils itself around Yuya's wrist. Yuya approaches an open window and uses Whip Viper to anchor to another building and swing from it.
"I end my turn." Yuya says after landing on another rooftop.
"My turn!" Sawatari draws and he smirks, before he can place Timegazer, Reiji is using the phone to tell him that it's not yet.
"Who are you? I'm at a good point right now." Sawatari says.
"I thought I told you, not yet." Reiji replies.
"What are you getting so upset for?" Sawtari sighs. "I got it. I summon Lightning Board. (ATK:1400/DEF:1200 LV:4)
As the monster appears, he hops on it and starts chasing after Yuya. As Yuya swings to another building, Sawatari smirks, "You're desperate, aren't you? Yuya-kun? But this is all a part of my plan, too."
Whip Viper anchors itself to a bridge rope and Yuya swings from it. Yuya looks around the bridge until he spots an Action Card lying on the floor. When he picks it up, it turns out to be a Trap Card.
"Damn it..." Yuya frowns as he didn't get the luck.
"Action Trap, Break Shot..." Yuya grits his teeth as he sees pool balls roll over to them. While Yuya dodges the balls, Whip Viper ends up being flattened. "Thanks to you, Yuni...Now my Monster has to lower 900 ATK..." (ATK:1700-800)
"You really are a fool, Action Cards aren't only beneficial. There are trap cards among them as well." Sawatari sighs.
"You think I don't know about that?" Yuya rolls his eyes, he can't just reveal that his sister is the one who made this field.
"Besides, your comrades you were supposed to be saving are in even more danger now." Sawtari says as Yuya notices the tower shaking and Yuzu and the others are about to fall off.
Yuya is disgusted by Sawatari's underhanded tactics, and Sawatari says, "Here we go! Battle! I attack Whip Viper with Lightning Board! Lightning Darts!"
Lightning Board shoots bolts of lightning at Whip Viper while Yuya runs looking for another Action Card. He manages to find and take another one on the bridge's railing, only to realize it's another Trap.
"Jump Shot? This one lowers the ATK by 400..." Yuya grits his teeth as he sees a cue ball flattens Whip Viper again. (ATK:800-400)
The lightning of Lightning Board destroys Whip Viper, causing Yuya to take damage. (Yuya:4000-3000)
"If you don't pay attention, you're going to get hurt." Sawatari smirks.
The cue ball is about to drop on Yuya, but he jumps out of the way in time. It bounces back up, then down again, and destroys part of the bridge.
"I end my turn. But, it looks like it might be the end for that tower." Sawatari adds.
Yuya climbs back up, to find his friends in greater peril as the tower starts to collapse. Yuzu is still holding on to Futoshi, with Tatsuya and Ayu holding on to her.
"Are you okay?" Yuzu asks.
"I don't want to fall off!" Futoshi cries.
"Boys shouldn't cry!" Yuzu says.
"That's right, Futoshi!" Ayu adds. "Big Brother Yuya isn't crying, so you shouldn't cry either!"
"No matter what happens, I won't shed a tear!" Tatsuya adds.
"I've got to save everyone!" Yuya promises.
"That's right, Yuya. If it ended here, our party would be quite disappointed.
"My turn!" Yuya draws a card and says, "If I can't get there by land, then I'll go with water! I summon Entermate Amenboat! (ATK:500/DEF:1600 LV:4)
Yuya jumps into his monster and tries to use it to reach his friends, Sawatari thinks that Yuya's LP is 3000, and he can shoot them down to 0.
Sawatari says, "My turn!"
After drawing a card, Reiji comments that Sawatari gets a good card, and Sawatari understands what he means.
"I release Level 4 Lightning Board to activate the Magic Card, Release Trade. Then I add a monster that is one level higher than the one I released to my hand! That means I add the Level 5 Stargazer Magician to my hand!"
Yuya says, "Stargazer Magician, huh..."
"That's right, one of my Pendulum Cards." Sawatari says.
"However, you can't Pendulum Summon unless you have Timegazer Magician." Yuya says.
"That's why I keep telling you that I'm a chosen one!" Sawatari adds, and Yuya realizes that Sawatari has the other card in his hand all along.
"A super rare human like myself is suited to use super rare cards like these!" Sawatari says as he laughs, "I'm just too favored by the cards."
Yuya says, "I don't care. If you want to Pendulum Summon just do it. I don't want to waste any more time hearing your annoying gloating."
Sawatari feels offended, but Reiji wants Sawatari to set them now, and Sawatari reluctantly agrees.
"I use the Scale 1 Stargazer Magician and Scale 8 Timegazer Magician to set the Pendulum Scale! With this, I can summon Monsters from Level 2 to Level 7! Pendulum Summon! Level 5! Power Darts Shooter (ATK:1800/DEF:500 LV:5) Level 6! Rocket Darts Shooter! (ATK:1900/DEF:100 LV:6) And Level 7! Ultimate Darts Shooter! (ATK:2400/DEF:300 LV:7)"
As the three monsters appear on the field, Sawatari is feeling amazed at how he Pendulum Summon the first try, while Yuya just narrows his eyes.
Reisho says, "Congratulations on becoming the fourth one to try out Pendulum Summoning, this is not something to be proud of."
Reiji says, "However, he does have the potential to do this summon."
"Pendulum is the best, no one can stop me anymore, Sakaki Yuya! Since I can now Pendulum Summon, I no longer need you! Let's battle! Power Darts Shooter, attack Entermate Amenboat!"
Yuya notices the Action Card in the water, but he starts to hesitate to get it, then he says, "I use Amenboat's effect! When it is attacked, I can switch it to DEF to negate the attack!"
The wings of Amenboat close and it glows blue, causing the darts to dissolve. (ATK:500 - DEF:1600)
"I missed?" Sawatari mutters, "But I still have other monsters that I Pendulum Summoned! Rock Darts Shooter, attack Entermate Amenboat!"
Rock Darts Shooter fires three darts from its launcher, with Amenboat dodging two of them, then being destroyed the third, throwing Yuya into the water.
"I threw nice darts. I'm not done yet! I attack you directly with Ultimate Darts Shooter! Darts Destruction! You'll be having 600 LP left!"
Yuya is thrown from the water by three rocket darts and slams into a bridge support. (Yuya:3000-600)
The bridge shakes, and Futoshi yells, "It's over for me!"
"No, you're not! If Yuya isn't giving up, we can't give up either!" Yuzu yells.
"I end my turn. You still have LPs, but do you still have the will to fight, Yuya?" Sawatari asks.
Yuya stands back up and suddenly laughs, much to Sawatari's surprise. "What do you think? My turn!"
He draws a card and notices that it's here. He says, "I summon Block Spider!" (ATK:0/DEF:100 LV:1)
Sawatari asks, "Level 1 and no ATK? That card is total garbage. And you put it in ATK position?"
"Since you throw this card away, I now have a chance to win." Yuya smirks.
"The card I threw away? It's so low level that I don't remember." Sawatari says.
"However, as long as I have Block Spider, you can't attack any other monster." Yuya says.
"But that's the only monster on your field." Sawatari adds. "What are you going to do?"
"I activate Magic Card: Mimiclay! By switching Level 1 Block Spider to defense position, I can activate this Magic Card. (ATK:0 - DEF:100) Magicians used this clay to create exact copies. It can transform into any monster on the field. Not just in appearance - it also copies its abilities!"
"So you're going to copy my Darts Monsters?" Sawatari asks.
"No, I'm copying my Block Spider!" Yuya says. "After the Magic Card Mimiclay activates, it's special summoned as a monster!"
"I was wondering what you'd do, but you just simply doubled your garbage cards-" Sawatari stops as he realizes what's going on.
"That's right. When there are two Block Spiders, they protect each other with their webs. Block Lock! Your monsters can no longer attack."
"That wasn't within my calculations!" Sawatari yells in anger.
Yuya looks at his cards and thinks, "Now everything depends on this." He declares, "I set two cards and end my turn."
Sawatari draws a card as it is his turn, and he got a message from Reiji, "The Pendulum Cards are currently Magic Cards."
In the office, Reisho glares at his brother and asks, "Do you seriously want Yuya to lose right now? For some reason, you're just wanting to get your revenge on Yuya for beating you yesterday with Pendulum Cards..."
"I trust Yuya can win this battle, and he will be getting his cards back in this turn." Reiji simply states.
Sawatari laughs, "I knew the cards chose me! I use Magic Card, Cricket Close! By negating two Magic Cards I control, I can negate your card's effect!
"Pendulum Monsters are treated as Magic Cards...you even told him that? Reiji?" Yuya mutters.
"I negate the effects of Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician, and I negate Mimiclay's effect!" Sawatari says.
Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician are both bound by dartboards and revert to card form, and then the dartboards blast energy at Mimiclay, negating the effect, and sending it to the graveyard.
"Block Spider is once again a garbage card with 100 DEF, and you have 600 LP left, I'll bury you along with your garbage card!"
"No, you don't! I activate the Quick Play Magic: Draw Muscle! When there's only one monster with 1000 or less DEF on the field, I can draw a card from my deck! If I draw a Monster card, I can add its DEF to a monster on the field!"
Yuya draws a card and it turns out t be Entermate Kaleido Scorpion, which has 2300 DEF. (DEF:100-2400)
"2400 DEF? It's the same as Ultimate Darts Shooter's ATK..."
"Due to Draw Muscle's effect! Block Spider can't be destroyed this turn!" Yuya adds.
"Awesome! Sawatari can't attack anymore!" Futoshi yells.
"Impressive, Yuya!" Yuzu says.
"That wasn't in my calculations, either!" Sawatari mutters. "But do you think I would be bothered by that?"
Yuya is confused at his laughing, and Sawatari adds, "To tell you the truth, I didn't have a way to lower your LP to exactly 0. I guess being too strong is a problem. But thanks to that Magic Card, my calculations are complete. By releasing Power Darts Shooter and Rocket Darts Shooter, I can power up Ultimate Darts Shooter!"
The two monsters merge into attachments for the blaster of Ultimate Darts Shooter, and Sawatari explains, "Due to Power Darts Shooter's effect, Ultimate Darts Shooter gains 600 ATK! (ATK:2400-3000) And Rocket Darts Shooter's effect allows Ultimate Darts Shooter to give you piercing damage when it attacks! In other words, the difference is 600, and you have 600 LP remaining."
Yuya gulps, and Sawatari yells, "Battle! Ultimate Darts Shooter! Attack Block Spider! Ultimate Full Shoot!"
It fires a massive rocket that fires several darts, and Yuya doesn't leave his spot. "It's over!"
The darts impact and the bridge supports fail. Yuzu drops Frederick and then loses her grip, causing all four of them to fall.
"I was waiting for this moment! I use Trap Card! Empty Fishing! I halve the damage and target two cards whose effects have been negated, I'll add them to my hand!"
"Cards that have been negated?" Sawatari realizes what he's going for. "You don't mean..."
"You have your fun using my cards, but now it is time that I take them back!" Yuya yells. "I choose Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician!"
Both Monsters hear the call from Yuya as they save the four people from the fall. Yuzu smiles, "Thank you very much."
Both monsters land them beside Yuya before disappearing into cards in Yuya's hands.
"You calculated all of this to happen?" Sawatari yells in anger.
"You can say so, but the most part is that I believe in my monsters!" Yuya says.
"Belive? I use Ultimate Darts Shooter's effect! The released Darts Monsters are summoned at the end of the turn! I end my turn!"
"He has three monsters again." Tatsuya says.
"If it won't go as I calculated, then I'll destroy everything!" Sawatari yells.
Yuya sighs as he turns to others, "Sorry for putting you in a scary situation."
"It was so thrilling that it gives me shivers, Big Brother Yuya!" Futoshi says.
"I also believed in you." Tatsuya says.
"Now it is time for a comeback." Yuzu says.
"Just do it!" Ayu says, and Sawatari narrows his eyes in response.
"My turn!" Yuya draws a card and he smiles, "Let's go! Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician! The fun is only getting started!"
The lights are going off as Futoshi says, "It's time!"
"Yeah, now it is time for everyone to see the true Pendulum!" Yuzu yells as the children start to cheer for Ash.
"Ladies and Gentlemen! Today, I will show you a fabulous light show! First, you can't talk about Pendulum without these two! Now let's have today's two stars show up! Everyone, you know the cheer, right? I set Scale 1 Stargazer Magician and Scale 8 Timegazer Magician! With this, I can summon monsters from Level 2 to 7! Swing, the pendulum of the soul! Draw an arc of light across the aether! Pendulum Summon! Appear now, my monsters! First is Entermate Turn Toad (ATK:0/DEF:800 LV:2 PS:3) Entermate Kaleido Scorpion (ATK:100/DEF:2300 LV:6 PS:4) And finally, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon! (ATK:2500/DEF:2000 LV:7 PS:4)
Sawatari says, "Whatever! It's Level 6, but it only has 100 ATK? And another one has 0 ATK? They're all garbage cards!"

Kaleido Scorpion shoots a beam at Ultimate Darts Shooter, and kaleidoscopic images shine in the sky as Ultimate Darts Shooter glows blue.
"What's going on?" Sawatari gasps.
"The effect activates when there is a Pendulum Summoned monster on my opponent's field. The monster that you Penulum Summoned is Ultimate Darts Striker, right?"
"So what?" Sawtari asks.
Yuya places a hand on the hand of Odd-Eyes and says, "I also select a Pendulum Monster, and then..." A yellow light covers Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, Rocket and Power Dars Shooter both light up, and then beams of light shoot from them and split off blue and red versions of Odd-Eyes.

"Exactly! Therefore, you take double the damage!" Yuya says.
"Double?" Sawatari is shocked as he is hit by the attack from the red mirage and falls into the river. (Sawatari:4000-3800)
"I'm gonna keep going! Attack Rocket Darts Shooter this time! Of course, the damage is doubled!"
The blue mirage attacks Rocket Darts Shooter while Sawatari clambers out of the water, and once again, the monster is destroyed and the battle damage is doubled. Sawatari tries to run but is thrown off his feet. (Sawatari:3800-2600)
"And finally, attack Power Darts Shooter! Spiral Flame Strike! And the damage is..." Yuya asks, and the children yell "DOUBLE!"
The attack destroys the darts shooter as Sawtari yells before getting hit, "I know!" (Sawatari:2600-1200)
Sawatari gets back up and says, "You did whatever you wanted. But I still have LP left!"
As the children are worried, Yuzu smiles, "Don't worry, look at the expression on Yuya's face."
Ray appears beside Yuzu and says, "Yuya's battle style reminds me of how Zarc used to battle, I'm sure he can win this."
"Yeah." Yuzu nods.
In the office, Reisho gasps as he sees Ray's spirit beside Yuzu, he smiles as he finally sees his sister again.
"Everyone, thanks for waiting! Here come tonight's lead actors!" Yuya says as he refers to Turn Toad and Block Spider.
"Lead actors? Nonsense! They're monsters with 0 ATK in DEF position!"
"You're right. They currently can't attack. But don't worry, Entermate Turn Toad can turn something around. And that's...Turn it over!"
Turn Toad turns the shadow of Block Spider on itself, changing Block Spider's ATK. (DEF:2400-ATK:1200)
"Block Spider has 1200 ATK?" Sawatari gasps.
"That's right. Turn Toad's effect switches it from Defense to Attack position, and the ATK becomes half of its DEF!" Yuya says.
"It can't be..." Sawatari gasps in horror.
"If you have 1200 LP left and Block Spider attacks with 1200 ATK, how many LP will you have left?" Yuya asks. "Everyone, do you know?"
"Of course!" The children cheers as Sawatari is still looking with horror.
"In that case, all together now! Block Spider attacks you directly!" Yuya yells. "The answer is..."
Block Spider tackles Sawatari to the ground and the children yells, "ZERO!" (Sawatari:1200-0)
Spider webs flicker like fireworks in the sky and the Action Field vanishes. Yuya sighs as he wins the duel.
Furiously, a battered Sawatari rises to his feet. He says, "If it comes to this...I'll just take the cards by force! Everyone! Get him!"
Before the goons can get them, they are being ambushed by a turquoise-haired boy. As for Sawatari, Yuya just walks towards him, grabs him in the collar and says, "You don't know who you're messing with. With my power, I can get you fired from LDS."
After that, Yuya gives him a punch to knock him out, and he turns to the boy, who says, "They were just uncool."
He turns to Yuya and says, "You were awesome!"
Yuya asks, "Are you also an LDS Student?"
"I was thinking of enrolling, but not anymore. I'll be your student." The boy says as everyone gasps in shock.
"My student?" Yuya asks.
"Yeah. If I'm going to learn, may as well learn from someone fun." The boy adds.
"But what about them? What did you do to them?" Yuzu asks.
"They're just unconscious. My name is Shiunin Sora. It is nice to meet you." Sora says as they shake hands with each other.
Back in the office, Reisho says, "I'll be heading back to Academia today, at least I got to see something interesting."
"So soon?" Reiji asks.
"Because I have a mission to do now that I see my sister safe and sound." Reisho smiles before leaving.
Here is a new chapter, and in this chapter, you can see it is the same duel as in the anime. However, Yuya is not narrow-minded in my story, and that's why he won't be lamenting that Pendulum is only his. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be Yuni's perspective.
