As the days of September passed in the Highlands of Scotland, the temps started to drop. Sure the highlands where always cooler then the other parts of Britain, though Dite thought that this year they where cooler then normal at this time of year. Lily, Remus and Dite where all in the same Newts level classes this year for their 7th year. Dite found herself alone in the Library a few weeks after classes started, Lily was off with Alice who needed help with something in Muggle Studies, Sirius and James where both down at the pitch for try outs, Remus and Peter where places unknown to her and Regulus was making his presence known in Slytherin. Dite never understood the anarchy of the Slytherin house now as Aphrodite or when she was Hermione. It was a foreign concept to her. As she worked on her Arithmacy homework, the hairs on the back of her neck began to stand on end, as if she was being watched or that something was about to happen. Looking up from her work, she looked around her hidden table, no one was around or at least anywhere that she could see them.

Dite has had this feeling that she was being watched since everyone retuned to Hogwarts. At first she waved it off as being paranoid, now she was beginning to become creped out. She thought that it maybe Dumbledore keeping an eye on her, waiting for her to drop her guard so that he could creep into her mind. But after the last time the elder Wizard showed up at Prewett estate and Sophia gave him another piece of her mind, the man has been keeping his distance. Dite suspected that mana had a word with Professor McGonagall after one of the Order Meetings about things here at school. She also couldn't get the other days Defense class out of her mind. Professor Finwitch had them all practice the Patronus Charm in Class, many students where able to pull of a fully formed patronus. The person that shocked her was Avery, the boy was vile and always causing Dite to feel creped out. Dite knew that Avery was very close to Malfoy, who had graduated the year before, so she suspected that Avery was working on Malfoy's order to cause her to freak out with the latters leery gaze. Avery had pulled off creating a fully formed patronus, which took the form of a Hyena that ran around the room like a mad dog until its eye caught Dite standing with the other Gryffindors. The misty Hyena came charging her, she caught Avery's gaze, it showed her the crazed look that he had in his eyes causing her to start to back away from the charging Hyena which vanished before it reached her. The scene was one that not many have seen before, Sirius stepped infront of Dite blocking Avery's leer.

As she sat at her table, after looking around to find no one there she returned to her work. Soon she heard a noise, causing her to jump and look around again. Dite found nothing, no student around, no books that had fallen to cause the noise, nothing but the hairs on her neck continued to stand on end. Dite casted a protective charm around her table just in case. She wasn't one to take chances with her safety. She knew that if she where to have a visit to the goddess's pool during the day, she wasn't protected while she was there. She had experienced these visits in just a couple of classes. In the few classes that it has happened she normally had one of her friends sitting next to her to bring her back before the Professor noticed that she wasn't paying attention to the lesson.

"Well, Well, look what I found. The Gryffindor Goddess her self or should I say the Gryffindor bastard." Avery leered at her causing her to nearly jump out of her seat.

"What are you doing here Avery?" She asked never taking her eye off him.

"Well seeing that Black is in the common room, I passed the mudblood and the traitor walking passed myself in the corridor, Potter and his mutt are down at the pitch since its idiots tryouts, then the other two are in detention. It leaves you all alone here in the Library." He moved closer to her.

"That never explained why you are here Avery." She tried to keep some distance between them.

"I'm here to give you a warning Prewett." He smirked as he got in her personal space.

"What kind of warning?" She asked as her hand found its self pushing against his chest.

"Leave Regulus, or something may happen to you or your friends." He pushed back.

"Leave them out of this." She hissed at him.

"Oh, I pushed a nerve did I Goddess." He laughed.

"I will not leave Reggie and your not going to do anything to my friends." She glared at him.

Dite watched as Avery stepped back laughing at her. It was very similar to Bellatrix's crazed laughter. It caused her heart to race and her to begin to panic. Dite wasn't sure why Avery was threating her or her friends, all she knew was that it had something to do with Regulus being with her.

"Aww, you are so beautiful when you have that look on your face Goddess, but I will fallow threw on my threat if you continue this courtship with Black." He chuckled.

"Why is my courtship so important to you and Malfoy?" She asked, her anger building up inside.

"It's problematic to those who feel you aren't pure enough for the Noble House of Black. Your also in His way of gaining the support of the Black family." Avery explained.

"So I'm in Voldimort's way is it?" She asked not afraid of the name and watched as fury and anger crossed his eyes.

"You have no right to speak his name!" Avery spoke angrily as Dite felt a stinging feeling on her cheek.

A few moments later Avery left her alone with a red mark forming on her face. She wasn't sure why the threat was one that she had a small fear of then Malfoy's feeble attempts. She believed Avery was more wild compared to the well kept Malfoy that tried to kill her with a mystery gift. She hurried to pack her stuff and raced to the tower. She entered the common room to find that Lily, Alice, Remus and Peter where sitting on the sofas infront of the Library. She knew that Remus had already picked up the beats of her racing heart as she tried to slowly walk to them and calm her heart. As soon as she sat down Remus was asking what had happened. After telling him what had happened and that she was creped out by the Slytherin he suggested sending a Owl to Regulus about it. Soon even the other two who weren't there knew what had happened when they arrived. It seemed that a young second year over heard the conversation between her and Avery and ran to tell James and Sirius. Sirius was fuming and ranting that he'll hex the Slytherin if he tried to do anything to their friends. James agreed with Lily that it was a threat to take seriously and maybe go to Dumbledore about. The group continued to discus the different ideas that they had. Remus along with Lily, Alice and James agreed to go to Dumbledore while Sirius wanted to get back at Avery and show him that he shouldn't mess with the Gryffindors, Peter was the only one that hadn't given an opinion.

"I think you need to take the threat seriously, go to Dumbledore and show Avery that messing with us." Peter finally spoke up to the group.

"Peter, we shouldn't give the Slytherins more to retaliate about." Remus looked at the other boy.

"But Avery is much worse then Malfoy, Remus." Peter leaned on to his knees and looked at the ground.

It's true that the friends where still holding back their trust from the friend that betrayed their trust. He was slowly showing that he really was regretful of what he had been apart of. Soon the group knew what else that Malfoy had Peter do and some of it was with Avery. Peter had watched as Avery hexed a younger girl in Gryffindor as practice for a hex that the were taught from Malfoy. Finding out that Peter truly believed that Avery would fallow through on his threat frightened Dite alittle. Even as Hermione, she had experienced threats from those who wished to put her in her place as a lowly muggle-born. But this Avery was crazier then his son that lived in her time as Hermione. It was strange to her now to go through her memories from her time as Hermione.

"Well none of us will be walking alone from now on." James spoke up.

"James.." Dite looked at the head boy.

"It isn't possible mate." Remus shook his head.

"It is Remus and we can do it. Sirius will speak to his brother about this and I'm sure that Regulus will be a force to reckon with in Slytherin, and we wont let the girls walk around alone." James explained.

Once all the others were brought up to date on what had happened, Lily was livid that Dite would be threatened over her relationship with Regulus. Alice understood that this would be the end of their seemingly quiet year at Hogwarts for their seventh year. While the others discussed what was needed, Dite slipped out if the common room and made her way to Dumbledore's office. She knew to not trust the man with anything as far as she could throw him. But he was the headmaster of the school and he should have some power to help some in this instance. She found herself standing infront of the statue that lead to his office. She looked around cautiously and spoke the password that would allow her to pass onto the staircase. Dite hurried up the stairs and stopped infront of the door of his office. She regained her composure before she knocked on the door.

"Come in." She heard him call out to her.

Dite took a breath and opened the door. She was sure that the others where still in the middle of their discussion. But she needed to speak to the headmaster as she had been threatened inside the school.

"Aw Ms. Prewett, how can I help you this evening?" He asked as she walked closer to him.

She could feel him trying to enter her mind gently.

"Sir, I've been threatened by a student here." She spoke as she imagined something that she knew that Professor Dumbledore wouldn't like to kick him out of her mind.

"I see child, have you been harmed?" He asked as she caught the look of disgust cross his face before it returned to how it normally settled.

"No Sir. Avery had simply explained that if I don't comply with his request my friends or I may have an accident." She spoke knowing that Dumbledore would try to pull something or try to maneuver her where he wanted her. Over the last few weeks he has been trying to enter her mind more and more then when she first came here.

"I see, what was his request may I ask." Dumbledore thoughtfully asked.

"He wants me to end my courting of Regulus Black as I'm in the way at the moment. The same reason why Malfoy sent the package to me." She explained.

"Ms. Prewett have you thought that maybe courting Mr. Black is problematic to both him and you?" He asked.

"Why would it be problematic Sir.?"

"Being from different sides of our world, he being from a dark family and you of a light family is what I mean by problematic." He nodded as if agreeing with himself.

After hearing Dumbledore say what he said, she couldn't help but remember what the Sirius of her past told Harry when he explained that he felt so angry after his dream of attacking Mr. Weasley. Harry was so confused and angry most of her 5th year that she had sent numerous letters to Sirius about him.

'The world isn't split into light and dark, everyone has both inside them.'

"Sir. Sirius is also a Black are you saying that his placement in Gryffindor was wrong?" She asked him as her anger started to seep into her tone of voice.

"The hat knows best Ms. Prewett, all I'm saying is that maybe you should think about Mr. Avery's words carefully."

"Sir. I was once told that everyone has Light and Dark inside themselves its which they chose to act on that shows who they are. Regulus chose light like Sirius, regardless of their families belief. He even helped fight against his cousin when Hogsmead was attacked. He brought his brother to the Potters when his family tried to kill Sirius. So are you saying that he isn't as good as those you feel are good?" She stood from her seat.

"I am just.."

"You are just upset that you cant enter my mind, that my mana has spent time to teach me Occlumency to shield those with out permission from my mind. Mana was right, no one knows the real Albus Dumbledore and that you are a anoiti anazitisi dynamis. I have come to you about a threat that has happened with in the walls of the school you serve and the students that are under your care, but you actually don't care unless you can get something in return." She seethed before she turned away from him and headed towards the door.

As she placed her hand on the doorknob, she felt someone break her occlumency shield that she had in place. She watched as memories of her spending time with Regulus turn to horror with a flick of the wand. She forced those memories to change back and Dumbledore out of her mind. He didn't get to her other shields that blocked Hermione's memories from her unless she needs then to give a little information to this man. She turned to look at him, she saw that the Headmasters eyes where wide in amazement at the fact that she cut him off in mid- legilimency and reversed his work.

"Eisai anoitos pou anazita dynami, den thase empistefto pote meta apo afto. Just wait till my Mana hears about this." Dite breathed heavily as she spoke.

Dite knew that her parents wouldn't trust him as fare as they could through the older wizard. Sure he though they where doing the right thing, but he was after the knowledge that she had from her dreams. Which is why she never told him of the pool she visits. She also never thought that she would ever utter the words; Just wait till my mother/father hears about this. The words that Draco Malfoy spoke when ever something didn't go his way, or when he tried to intimidate those he thought where lesser then he was. Like when he didn't listen to Hagrid about the Hippogriff and ended up offending the proud creature, which attacked him. His father wanted the beast put down, but she and Harry used a time turned to go back with Dumbledore's words to save two lives.

Dite was beginning to realize that the Headmaster she knew then and this headmaster where one in the same. That the man had played both sides of the gray line. He would praise Harry, Ron and her when it pleased him, and would ask them to do something that one of them would be hurt by it. Like when he requested Ron and her not to write Harry the summer that they lived at the headquarters of the Order. She thought about how Dumbledore kept his distance the year before she was thrown back in time. It seemed like a lifetime ago now as she has fully excepted being Dite Prewett. But now she was guarding herself from the man that she trusted to protect those who asked, who spent 5 years covering up Harry, Ron and Her adventures, down playing them for the other students and granting points to them for their bravery. It was a ploy to gain their trust and their loyalty. The Blinders where pulled off her eyes now, and even though she trusted him to not put anyone's lives in complete danger, but she wasn't trusting him with her dreams now.

AYUZACHAN; We may, just have to keep reading to see what happens next. I enjoyed writing the otters as the danced, at the time my cats where running around spazing out, so I loosely based the scene off them playing.

MARINMERZA; Yes many riddles to come, and answering those riddles to come.
