Volume II: Venom
Note: This will be the tenth chapter of Volume II, Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider both face against one of their most powerful enemies, Eddie Brock who has bonded to the symbiote that once bonded to Spider-Man, he becomes the supervillain known as Venom. Venom plans get vengeance on his enemies by destroying their very lives and making them suffer. George Stacy will soon learn the truth about his daughter's double life as Ghost-Spider as it will shock him. Peter is still dealing with his own conflicted feelings for Mary Jane as she too is struggling with them, this will complicate her reconciliation with Harry Osborn.
It's November 15th, at Eddie Brock's apartment, it's been more than a week since he lost his job and became publicly humiliated thanks to Peter Parker, as he knows him as Spider-Man. The TV is on in the living room, George Stacy is with Yuri Watanabe and Jefferson Davis as they're addressing the attack on their precinct last week.
"It's been more a week since this horrible attack has happened in our very own 13th precinct, about 7 police officers lost their lives and a dozen were seriously injured. Many lives would've been lost if Spider-Man didn't intervene in time and saved the ones left alive. The criminal known as the Beetle has been arrested and serving a life sentence inside the most secured prison ever built. Our prayers are to the families who lost their loved ones that day, I can tell them that justice has been served, we now honor the fallen by continuing their fight against the very injustice they gave their lives stopping. They shall not be forgotten." George Stacy speaks to the press.
Eddie Brock is shirtless and working out by lifting weights, on the walls of his apartment are pictures of Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy, his main enemies, along with pictures of closest friends and families, such as May Parker, George Stacy, Mary Jane Watson, and Harry Osborn.
"Those two spider punks, making a mockery out of me, discrediting me, humiliating me, and destroying my entire life." Eddie Brock lifted his last weights and finished.
He gets up and walks towards the wall with pictures of his most hated enemies, particularly Spider-Man.
"If they think that they've seen the last of me, then in for a big surprise. Because now I'm not just one, we are two, we share the same hatred for Peter Parker, he made the mistake of giving up the suit and all its awesome powers. His rejection of the symbiote will be his own undoing." Eddie Brock formed the symbiote all around him.
The very same symbiote that once bonded to Spider-Man now found a suitable host to bond and feed on his negative emotions. The suit formed a more monstrous version of the black suited Spider-Man with a large jaws and a long tongue.
"Now we shall exact vengeance upon them, we are... Venom!" Eddie Brock is Venom.
The next morning, Peter is walking with Mary Jane and Gwen to school as Peter himself has things on his mind, Gwen and Mary Jane talked.
"To think that after a week in the hospital, I finally get to come back to school." Mary Jane says to Gwen.
"Are you sure that you're ready? You almost died last week, remember?" Gwen reminded Mary Jane of her near death experience.
"Gwen, I appreciate you being so concerned about me, but I need to get back to my life, and this is how." Mary Jane is determined to continue her life despite everything.
"Guess when you make up your mind, there's no changing it, is it?" Peter smiled at Mary Jane.
"You got that right, Tiger. By the way, it's nice to see you back to your old self again." Mary Jane says to Peter.
"Thanks, it felt like a nightmare being bonded to the symbiote, I'm just glad to be finally rid of it for good." Peter says to Mary Jane.
"Amen." Gwen says to Peter.
Peter, Mary Jane, and Gwen finally arrived at school as they all enter only to find a surprise waiting for Mary Jane herself. Flash, Harry, along with their classmates all surprised Mary Jane with a signed saying "Welcome Back, Mary Jane." They all clapped their hands together for Mary Jane's return to school.
Liz came up and hugged Mary Jane. "Good to have you back."
"Thanks Liz, it's great to be back after a week in a hospital." Mary Jane smiled and hugged Liz back.
"I know how that feels like." Liz speaks from experience.
"You had us all worried there." Flash is happy for Mary Jane.
"We all prayed that you would be alright." Betty is happy too.
Mary Jane is greeted by most of her classmates, Harry came up and looked very happy to see Mary Jane back in school.
"So do you like the surprise?" Harry asking Mary Jane.
"Should've know that you were the mastermind behind this. I love it, thanks Harry." Mary Jane smiled at Harry.
"I missed you, MJ." Harry surprised Mary Jane with a hug.
Mary Jane is surprised but she hugged Harry back, Peter is watching as the girl he kissed last week is hugging his best friend, neither Peter nor Mary Jane have talked about that night they've kissed, and yet he can't help but feel jealous by seeing them together.
"Why do I feel jealous or something? Mary Jane and I only had a brief moment, that is all. I know that the symbiote influenced my emotions before, so I shouldn't be feeling like this right now. I'm still dealing with my own feelings for Gwen and Harry is my best friend, how can I tell him that I kissed the girl he loves." Peter says in his thoughts.
The school bell rang as class is about to start soon, Mary Jane and Harry broke off the hug.
"Why don't we hang out after school and head for the Coffee Bean, my treat." Harry suggested to Mary Jane.
"Ah... sure thing, Harry." Mary Jane says to Harry.
"What about you two?" Harry asking Peter and Gwen.
"Sure, if we got time to spare. Right Pete?" Gwen turning to Peter.
"Ah, yeah, sure thing." Peter is a bit nervous
"Great, see you both there." Harry walked towards class.
Peter is still feeling a bit guilty as he couldn't bring himself to tell Harry that he kissed MJ during their breakup, he's still lying to his face again. He and Gwen both went to class with their two friends.
Later as it's almost sunset, the Daily Bugle is working overtime to restore the reputation that Eddie Brock has tainted as Robbie is explaining how bad things are.
"So what's the verdict?" Jameson walking with Robbie.
"So far about more than 75 people have unsubscribed from our newspaper tabloid in the past week, it's only getting worse." Robbie explained to Jameson.
"Dammit! Thanks to that loser Eddie Brock, everyone is hating our guts for releasing that fake photo of Spider-Man. Even fired, his actions has ruined everything we've built. Is there anyway to restore our image?" Jameson asking Robbie for his opinion.
"Honestly Jonah, I don't have any ideas. I'm sorry." Robbie says to Jameson.
Jameson sighed. "Thank you for trying to help, Robbie. I'll be in my office drowning in my own misery."
Jameson walks away by himself, he enters his office to find his seat facing the window as someone is sitting in his personal chair.
"Whoever you are, get the hell out of my chair!" Jameson says in a rude tone.
The chair turns around to show that Eddie Brock is the one sitting in the chair, Jameson is very surprised to find the man who just a week was his employee until he fired him.
"Surprise." Eddie Brock smiled and keeping his cool.
"You got a lot of nerve showing your face here again, Brock! Thanks to you, my reputation is ruined. Do have any idea the damage you caused us?" Jameson isn't very happy to see Eddie Brock again.
"Well, that's not my problem, JJ." Eddie Brock doesn't care about the Bugle anymore.
"Get the hell out of my office!!!" Jameson yelled out.
Eddie Brock gets up and insults Jameson. "I don't work for you anymore, old man!"
"Old Man?! How dare you! Do you have any idea who you're talking to?!" Jameson felt insulted and he grabbed Eddie's jacket collar.
Eddie grabbed Jameson's hand and transformed himself in front of Jameson's eyes. Jameson is shocked to find that Eddie Brock has transformed into a big dark monster with sharp teeth.
"Do you?" Venom threatens Jameson.
Jameson got tossed hard out of his office and crashed onto a desk, Venom jumped out and surprised the entire Bugle staff with his presence, they all see a big monster in a suit that resembles the black suited Spider-Man.
"Guess what, Eddie Brock is back!!!" Venom roared out loud.
Everyone got scared and panicked as they all try to escape, Venom began to fire off some webbing at some of the employees, keeping them from escaping. Betty is running towards the janitor's closet to hide herself from Venom. She pulls out her phone to warn Peter about what's happening, hoping that Spider-Man might get a message through Peter.
Meanwhile at the Coffee Bean, Peter, Gwen, Mary Jane, and Harry all hanged out together since the recent breakups happening between two couples.
"It's good to be together again, it's been awhile since we've all been here together." Harry says to his friends.
"Yeah, sure has." Peter acting normal in front of Harry.
Mary Jane gave Peter the look as she knows what's on his mind, she's uncomfortable bringing it up in Harry and Gwen's presence. Peter's phone rang as he pulled it out to see that Betty Brant is calling him.
"Excuse me." Peter gets up from his chair.
Peter walked away from his friends as he needed the privacy, he made it outside to answer the call all alone.
"Hello, Peter?! Peter, are you there?!" Betty sounded nervous.
"Betty, I'm here, are you okay?" Peter is getting worried for Betty.
"Peter, listen to me, something bad is happening here at the Bugle, it's Eddie Brock, he's..." Betty didn't get it finished her sentence.
"He's what? Betty, are you there?!" Peter is more worried than ever before.
"Oh god! He's found me! He's..." Betty's phone call got cut off.
"Betty, are you there?! Betty? Betty!!!" Peter got hung up.
Peter is worried that something terrible has happened to Betty, he goes back inside the Coffee Bean to find his friends still talking, Gwen looked at Peter with a worried look.
"Listen, I have to go, emergency at the Bugle. Sorry to bail out again." Peter tells his friends he's leaving.
Gwen got up and grabbed her backpack as she follows Peter, leaving Harry and Mary Jane all alone. Gwen managed to catch up with Peter outside the Coffee Bean.
"Peter, what's wrong? I could tell that something has got you worried." Gwen figured out something is wrong.
"It's Betty, she sounded like she's in danger. I have to get to the Daily Bugle as fast as I can!" Peter informs Gwen there's trouble.
"Then I'm coming with you!" Gwen wants to help Peter out.
"Okay, let's get going. Hope that we're not too late." Peter tells Gwen as they ran.
Peter and Gwen made it to an alley where they started to change into their costumes. Sometime afterwards, Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider came out swinging and rushed as fast they can towards the Daily Bugle.
Later at the Daily Bugle, Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider both made it outside onto the windows to find that the place has been wrecked and the lights are out. They climbed inside to see all the damage that has been done to the place.
"What happened here?" Ghost-Spider is curious.
"I don't know, but I have a feeling that we're about to find out." Spider-Man says to Ghost-Spider.
Both heroes searched around the building to find clues as to what did all this and what happened to all the employees. Ghost-Spider looks around until she found something that shocked here.
"Spider-Man! Over here!" Ghost-Spider calling out to Spider-Man.
Spider-Man rushed towards Ghost-Spider as they both see someone wrapped in a black web, it's Jameson unconscious.
"Jameson?" Spider-Man is shocked.
"Look, there's more!" Ghost-Spider pointing out.
Spider-Man looks again to see more people wrapped in black webbing just like Jameson, all unconscious. He sees Robbie wrapped in one too, he then spotted Betty in one as he rushed to her side. Spider-Man picked her up to see that she's still alive but unconscious.
"Who did all this?" Ghost-Spider is curious.
Spider-Man took a closer look at the webbing that is wrapped around Betty, he immediately recognized it from before.
"No... it can't be." Spider-Man is shocked.
"Why not?" Eddie Brock speaks from behind.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider turns around to find Eddie Brock here standing and not looking too shocked himself by everything.
"Eddie Brock?" Spider-Man is surprised to see Eddie Brock here.
"Did you like the surprise I left for you both?" Eddie Brock smiled with pride.
"You? You did all this?" Spider-Man is confused.
"Not by myself, I had some help from my better half." Eddie Brock says to Spider-Man.
"Your better half?" Spider-Man is still confused.
"The other half of you, or at least was, the one that you've rejected. Now we've become one." Eddie Brock says to them both.
Eddie Brock summons the symbiote and transforms himself before their eyes. Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider sees a monstrous version of the black suit Spider-Man, one that doesn't look human.
"Oh my god." Spider-Man is more shocked.
"Now we are... Venom!" Venom shows himself to them.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider became very shocked to see the symbiote again now inhabiting a new host and now fueled by Eddie's rage.
"So what do you think? Looks good on us, like we were made for each other!" Venom showing off his new looks.
"Eddie, listen to me, you need to get the suit off right now!" Spider-Man advised Eddie Brock.
"Why? This suit is the best thing that's ever happened to us!" Venom says to Spider-Man.
"I know how it feels, I really do, but the longer you have suit on, the more it'll take over your life. You have to get rid of it as soon as possible." Spider-Man tries to reason with him.
"Eddie Brock was a nobody, just a loser who got stepped on by everyone around him, you, Ghost-Spider, Jameson, everyone. But then the symbiote bonded with him after you rejected it, and now we've become one with a simple goal, to destroy you and everyone who's ever wronged us!" Venom won't give up the suit.
"Then I guess we'll have to force you to take it off!" Ghost-Spider speaks up.
"You want this suit, then come and take it from us!" Venom dared them both.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider both rushed towards Venom as Venom himself jumps forward and executes a jumping scissor kicks and managed to hits them both. Both heroes got hit pretty hard as Venom is left standing on his own two feet. Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider got themselves back up to see how fast Venom is.
"Care to go again?" Venom taunts them.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider both fired off their webbing at them but Venom managed to jump up and dodge their attacks.
"Nice webbing, here, let us show you ours!" Venom aims his wrists.
Venom fired both black webbing and managed to cling them both, he pulled them both towards them with all his strength, he grabbed each of their necks and slams them down hard on the ground.
"This is all too easy!" Venom bested them both.
Venom pulled them off the ground and tossed them hard towards the walls, they got hit pretty hard. They recovered as Venom is waiting for them to strike. Ghost-Spider went up first and attack him with a flying knee strike, Venom quickly jumps and uses a lariat move on her, he's got her head trapped as Spider-Man sees.
"Ghost-Spider, I'm coming!" Spider-Man rushes towards her.
Spider-Man tries to help Ghost-Spider get free from Venom but he got push kick hard by the villain. Spider-Man fell back down hard, Venom then tossed Ghost-Spider at Spider-Man as they both collided with each other. They both try to get themselves back up by Venom counters by webbing them down in a net of black webbing.
"How disappointing, even the two of you working together are no match against us. You made the mistake of rejecting the symbiote and all its powers, Peter Parker." Venom revealed Spider-Man's real name.
Spider-Man is shocked. "How did you..."
"Know? The symbiote has shown us everything about you, including your partner Ghost-Spider, or should we say Gwen Stacy." Venom knows Ghost-Spider's secret too.
"Eddie, please listen to me..." Spider-Man got his mouth covered by Venom's hand.
"Stop calling us that, we are Venom now!" Venom felt offended.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider both try their best to break out but are having a hard time as the black webbing is much stronger.
"Don't worry, we're not going to kill you, that'll be too easy. No, we plan to destroy you both in the same way you've destroyed us. We're going to strike back where it hurts, we know who you care for, who you love, Aunt May, Captain Stacy, Harry Osborn, and Mary Jane Watson. We're going to dismantle your lives, one by one, very slowly. We're going to make you suffer, the same way we've suffered. This nightmare has only began." Venom explained his revenge.
Venom leaves them both trapped as he jumps towards the windows, he took one last look at them
"Game on!" Venom smiled sinisterly.
Venom jumped out and left the Daily Bugle, Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider both used their combined strengths to break out of the web net, they look around to see that Venom is now long gone.
"He's gone." Ghost-Spider tells Spider-Man.
"The symbiote is still alive. Damn it, I should've known that it would find a new host. I was too careless to leave it lying around." Spider-Man felt guilty for everything that is happening.
"We can't worry about that right now, the important thing is that he knows who we both are and he also knows those closest to us." Ghost-Spider says to Spider-Man.
Spider-Man sighed. "You're right, we need to protect our loved ones, as long as Venom is out there, no one is safe."
"He can't get to all of them at once, so which one will he go after?" Ghost-Spider is wondering.
"We'll have to split up, I'll go to F.E.A.S.T. and check on Aunt May, you should head back home to keep your dad safe in case Venom shows up." Spider-Man says to Ghost-Spider.
"Alright, you should also check up on Harry and Mary Jane to make sure they're both safe." Ghost-Spiderr suggested to Spider-Man.
"Good idea, I'll do that, but first things first." Spider-Man looks around at the trapped Bugle employees.
"Right, we should help them out." Ghost-Spider says to Spider-Man.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider both went around to help out everyone who got webbed up by Venom to make sure that they're all alright.
(Later)
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider left the Bugle and each started swinging away separately, unknown to either of them, Venom was still around and watched the heroes rushed away to keep their loved ones safe.
Venom chuckles. "How predictable, and so the game has began."
Mary Jane is staying at the Parker's house with her Aunt Anna since her place is still being fixed after being wrecked by the Beetle, she and Harry hanged out in the spare bedroom after the Coffee Bean, Harry looked out the window to see the place still needs work.
"Your house is still being fixed up." Harry looking at her house.
"Yeah, luckily Damage Control is handling the repairs since a supervillain is responsible for the damage." Mary Jane says to Harry.
"I see. Listen MJ, I've been thinking about us lately." Harry says to Mary Jane.
"Harry, if this is about me keeping secrets, then please don't bring it up, because I won't talk about it." Mary Jane tells Harry.
"Oh, it's not about that, I'm over that. Mary Jane, I still love you, even after we've broken up. I thought I had gotten you out of my heart, but after you've had your near death experience, it all came back. I don't want anything to come between us, not even the secrets you're carrying. Mary Jane, I want us to try again, to get back to where we left off. So what do you say?" Harry wants to reconcile with Mary Jane.
Mary Jane is surprised to hear that Harry wants to get back together with her, but she's still dealing with something, her kissing Peter and keeping it a secret from Harry and Gwen.
"Harry, that's so sweet that you still have feelings for me, Im really touched." Mary Jane says to Harry.
"But?" Harry is curious.
"But I think that we still need more time from each other, to figure out what we really want." Mary Jane says to Harry.
"More time? But why?" Harry is confused.
"Harry... I..." Mary Jane hesitate to tell him the truth.
Mary Jane stopped as her phone rang, she got up to pick it up from the desk, she sees that Peter is calling her.
"Can you wait just for a second?" Mary Jane asking Harry while holding the ringing phone.
"Sure." Harry waited for Mary Jane.
Mary Jane got outside the room as she needed the privacy away from Harry, she answered the call.
"Hey Tiger, I'm at your house with Harry." Mary Jane informs Peter.
"Are you both alright?" Peter asking Mary Jane.
"We're both fine, why wouldn't we be?" Mary Jane says to Peter.
"Listen to me MJ, Eddie Brock has the symbiote and he knows who we both are." Peter warns Mary Jane of Venom.
"What? But how?" Mary Jane is shocked to hear.
"It doesn't matter, what matters now is that he knows about me and Gwen, he's planning his revenge against us through every we care about, family and friends. You need to be careful, he'll be coming for us all." Peter warns Mary Jane.
"My god... thanks for giving me the heads up." Mary Jane says to Peter.
"Yeah... be careful, MJ." Peter is worried for Mary Jane.
"Yeah... you too, Tiger." Mary Jane says to Peter before she hung up.
Mary Jane is worried for Peter since the symbiote he once bonded to is now back and seeking vengeance upon him, but her worries extends beyond simple concerns. She's been having feelings for Peter that left her very confused as to whether or not to get back together with Harry.
Peter arrived at F.E.A.S.T. to find the place is very pack with many of the homeless and the staff working overtime, he's having trouble finding her through this crowd.
"Where are you, Aunt May?" Peter whispered as he's looking.
Peter found her serving up lunch to the homeless waiting in line.
"Aunt May!" Peter calling out to her.
May spotted Peter. "Peter, what are you doing here?"
"I came to make sure that you're alright." Peter is worried.
"Of course I'm alright, why wouldn't I be?" May says to Peter.
Peter then look across the room to see Eddie Brock is here smiling and waving at Peter, he got spooked by his appearance. Peter walked up to confront Eddie Brock until a person passed by him and Eddie disappeared from sight.
Peter had lost sight of him, he looked around to see if he's still here. He still looks around but couldn't find no sign of Eddie Brock anywhere.
"Peter?" May is behind him.
Peter turns around to see that his aunt is still here and alright.
"Is something wrong? You looked troubled." May is concerned for Peter.
"More than troubled, I'm frightened." Peter is still spooked.
"Why? What happened?" May is getting worried.
"Nothing for now, but it's best that I stay here for the time being to make sure." Peter says to May.
"To make sure of what?" May is wondering.
"That you're safe." Peter says to May.
"Well, I get off of work very soon. Then we can go home together." May informs Peter.
"Okay." Peter says to May.
May still has no idea what's got her nephew so afraid, but she went back to doing her job, Peter is still on alert as Venom is still out there somewhere.
Back in Queens, Gwen Stacy returned home to check if her father is alright, she spotted his car in the driveway, she enters the house to find him safe and sound.
"Dad, you're home?" Gwen is relieved.
"Yeah, I was at the funeral for the officers who lost their lives last week, giving condolences to their families, it hasn't been easy." George Stacy says to Gwen.
"I'm sorry that I wasn't there for you. I was hanging out with my friends that I didn't noticed what you were dealing with." Gwen says to her father.
"Don't worry about it, when you're a cop, you tend to deal with things that can haunt you, even death. I don't want for you, Gwen. You deserve to have a happy life better than mine." George Stacy says to Gwen.
Gwen sighed. "I wish I could have a happy life, dad. But sometimes I think that life has a different path for me to go through. Things that I have to give up, even love."
"I'm sorry Gwen, I'm not following you. What are saying?" George Stacy is confused.
"Dad... I..." Gwen is working up the courage to tell the truth.
Venom came crashing through the window and surprised them both, George got shocked to see a huge monster in their home, Gwen is shocked to see Venom here too.
"Surprise!!!" Venom smiled at them.
Venom picked up a couch and tossed it at them, Gwen moved quickly and tackled her dad out of the way, the couch missed them. Gwen took George to the kitchen, George is still stunned by how Gwen reacted.
"Stay here!" Gwen tells her dad.
Venom came charging in as Gwen jumped up and clings to the ceiling. Venom missed as Gwen jumped off and got onto his back with her arm wrapped around is neck. George couldn't believe what's happening before his eyes, his own daughter has powers like Spider-Man.
"It can't be." George Stacy is still shocked.
Venom struggles to get Gwen off his back as he grabbed her arm and tossed her hard across the room, George grabbed the gun from the table as Venom is hurting her. Venom walked over to Gwen on the floor, standing above her.
"You're out of your league, blondie." Venom standing over Gwen.
A bullet grazed Venom's back as he turns around to see George holding his gun. George shoots again as Venom dodges the bullet and counters by using his webbing to trap George Stacy to the wall. Gwen gets herself back up to see her father is in danger.
"Like father like daughter. She really takes after you, being the daughter of a cop. You must be so proud of your daughter being the hero called Ghost-Spider." Venom reveals Gwen's secret to George.
Gwen is shocked that Venom revealed her secret to her father without hesitation. George Stacy became shocked too by the news.
"Gwen? You're Ghost-Spider?" George now know the truth.
"Dad... I'm so sorry." Gwen felt guilty for keeping this secret from him.
"Awe! How sad that you're daddy had to find out what kind of person his own daughter is, a liar!" Venom taunts Gwen.
Venom pulled George off the webbing and holds him up as Gwen is provoked by Venom by threatening her father, she rushed towards Venom to help her dad, but she got attacked by a back fist to her face, she got hit pretty hard.
"Gwen!!!" George Stacy yelled out for his daughter.
"Not to worry, dad, we're not going to kill your little girl. No, we're going to make her suffer, even her boyfriend will suffer too, we'll see to it." Venom gripped George Stacy's neck.
Venom then leaves the house with George as his hostage, Gwen recovered to see that Venom is getting away with her father.
"No... dad!!!" Gwen is more worried for her father.
Gwen rushed out of the house and made it outside to see that there's no sight of Venom or her dad. She jumped up onto the rooftop for a better view, she still can't find them anywhere.
"No." Gwen cried out in disappointment.
She slammed her fist down hard on the roof in anger and grief, she failed to protect her father. He's now in Venom's hands and she blames herself for stopping him.
Venom is swinging through the city with his hostage, they both made it to an abandoned clock tower in the city that once belonged to Vulture.
"Here we are, home sweet home." Venom holding George Stacy.
He lifted George up in the air and uses his black webbing to trap George in a cocoon hanging above.
"There, that should do it." Venom is finished wrapping George Stacy.
"What do you want?" George Stacy trapped in a cocoon.
"Simple really, revenge and satisfaction. Your daughter is very much responsible for the harm she had caused us." Venom says to George Stacy.
"Us?" George Stacy is confused.
"Oh right, you probably don't recognize us in our current form. Allow us to show you." Venom says to George Stacy.
Venom reverted back into his human form, George Stacy watched as Venom is now back to Eddie Brock.
"We trust this is more appealing to your eyes? You probably don't know about who we are." Eddie Brock is all normal.
"Actually, I know exactly who you are, Edward Brock. You once sold a doctored photo of Spider-Man robbing the armored car to the Bugle." George Stacy is well aware of Eddie Brock's action.
"We were, until that Parker punk exposed our sham and had us humiliated in front of everybody. He destroyed us both, and now we finally have an opportunity to make him and your daughter suffer, the same way they made us suffer. You were just the beginning, very soon, many more will join you, someone very close to Peter. So enjoy your stay, we got some hunting to do." Eddie Brock says to George Stacy.
Eddie turned back into Venom, he left George Stacy behind as he still has other targets to hunt down, George is left behind as he's processing information about his own daughter being the superhero known as Ghost-Spider.
Back at the Stacy home, Gwen is looking herself in the mirror to see the black eye that Venom gave her. Peter, May, and Mary Jane all came as soon as they could after they've heard the news of George's abduction.
"Gwen!" Peter rushes to Gwen's side.
"Peter!" Gwen hugged Peter.
Mary Jane felt a bit jealous seeing those two hugging each other, and yet a part of her shouldn't be jealous at all.
"Peter, he took him, he took my dad!" Gwen is worried.
"We're going to find him, Gwen, I promise." Peter comforts Gwen.
"Why would he do this to George? To what end?" May is still confused.
"It's simple, he wants revenge, Venom is attacking us through the people we love, our friends and family." Peter explained Venom's motives to May.
Gwen's phone rang, she picked it up to see a blocked number, she answered the call to find out who's calling her.
"Hello?" Gwen is awaiting a response.
"Hello." Venom chuckled over the phone, making Gwen stunned in fear. "Can Ghost-Spider come out to play?"
"It's him." Ghost-Spider tells everyone.
"Put him on speaker." Peter whispered to Gwen.
Gwen switched it over to speaker so that everyone can listen to Venom's conversation.
"Venom... what have you done to my father?!" Gwen demanded answers.
"Nothing, yet. We told you that we will make you suffer like you made us suffer, we're just keeping our word, George is only the beginning." Venom says to Gwen.
Peter intervened and joins in the conversation. "Eddie, this has gone far enough! This needs to end, too many innocent people are getting hurt by this pointless need for revenge!"
"On the contrary Parker, this has only began. Now we're gonna play a game." Venom says to Peter.
"And what if we refuse to play your sick games?" Gwen says to Venom.
"Then your daddy will be of no use to us, we'll have to devour him very slowly, starting with his head." Venom says to Gwen.
Peter and Gwen are shocked to hear how far Venom will go to get what he wants.
"Fine, what is this game?" Gwen reluctantly agrees to play this game of Venom's.
"Good girl, we need you to go to the George Washington Bridge, there you'll have a surprise waiting there for you." Venom instructs Gwen.
"What surprise?" Gwen is curious.
"You'll just have to go and see for yourself, and please do hurry, for you daddy's sake. Bye Bye!" Venom hangs up the phone.
"It could be a trap." Peter is worried.
"Maybe, but I can't sit around and do nothing. If there's a chance that my dad is there, I'll have to take it." Gwen says to Peter.
"Okay, then I'm coming with you." Peter volunteers to go with Gwen.
"No... if it's a trap, then you need to stay behind and protect your aunt in case Venom shows up. I have to go alone this time." Gwen says to Peter.
Gwen grabbed her backpack with her suit as she determined to go through with this.
"Gwen!" Peter speaks up before Gwen stops and turns around. "Just... be careful and good luck."
Gwen smiled as Peter is concerned for her, she then proceeded to her room to change.
Later, Ghost-Spider jumped out of the window as Peter, May, and Mary Jane watched her swing away hoping to see her father again.
"Come on, let's go home." May tells Peter and Mary Jane.
Ghost-Spider swings through the George Washington Bridge, she made it to the top of one of the towers, she looks around to see nothing.
"Okay, I'm here. This is where Spider-Man found the symbiote the first time. Why would Venom bring me here? What's the next move?" Ghost-Spider is talking to herself.
Her phone rang, she picked it up to see an blocked number again, she figured that it's Venom calling her.
Ghost-Spider answered the call. "Hello?"
"Are you at the bridge?" Venom asking Ghost-Spider.
"Yes, I'm here. Now where is my father?!" Ghost-Spider is impatient and demanded answers.
"Temper, doll, that's no way to be a lady! Where are you manners?" Venom taunts Ghost-Spider.
"Look, I don't have time for these games, I'm here at the bridge, so what's next?" Ghost-Spider is losing her cool.
"Very well, at one of the towers, you'll find your surprise there." Venom hangs up on Ghost-Spider.
"What surprise? Hello? Hello? Dammit!" Ghost-Spider got hung up and felt toyed with.
Ghost-Spider looks across to one of the towers of the bridge to see someone sitting on what appears to be a chair, she could almost see across and this person looked like her father.
"Dad?!" Ghost-Spider is wondering.
Ghost-Spider jumped off the tower to swing across to the other tower, she made it to the top as she can only see this person's back.
"Dad, is that you? It's me, Gwen!" Ghost-Spider reaching out to him.
There was no response from this guy, she approached closer to see why he's no responding, she came passed him and got in front to see the surprise Venom left for her, it's a mannequin dressed like a man with a message that says 'Surprise!.'
"Very funny." Ghost-Spider isn't amused at all.
Ghost-Spider's phone rang again, she picked it up to see the same blocked number again, she answered the call.
"So did you like the surprise we left for you?!" Venom taunts Ghost-Spider.
"You're one sick son of bitch, Venom! I had enough of these sick games! Where is my dad?!!!" Ghost-Spider yelled out in anger.
"Now, now, the game isn't over yet! Sorry we're not there to entertain you in person, guessing that it's Spider-Man's turn to play now. So ciao!" Venom hangs up on Ghost-Spider.
Ghost-Spider is shocked to find out that coming all this way far to the bridge was just a diversion for her, Venom is planning to target Peter and the others.
"No, Peter!" Ghost-Spider is worried for Peter.
Ghost-Spider uses her phone to dial Peter to warn him about Venom coming for him.
Back in Queens, at the Parker house, the TV is left on as the news about the attack on the Daily Bugle is being broadcasted, May and Mary Jane are watching as Peter is still on alert in case Venom shows up.
"Earlier tonight, the Daily Bugle was attacked by a mysterious creatures that resembles the black suited Spider-Man, but now has been confirmed by witnesses that this creature has been identified as Eddie Brock, an Ex-Bugle photographer who's employment was just terminated more than a week ago for providing a falsified picture of Spider-Man committing a crime, the Bugle already issued a public apology and fired Mr. Brock for his actions. He now goes by the name Venom, even though Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider made it to help the hostages there, they still weren't able to stop this villain. Venom is still out there and presents a danger to the entire city, no one in New York is safe."
"This Eddie Brock must hate the Bugle enough to attack everyone there." May says to Peter and Mary Jane.
"That's because I was the one who provided evidence that the photo Eddie sold to Jameson was a fake, he lost his job and was humiliated in front of the entire Bugle, they all shunned him. It's no surprise that Venom chose to attack the Bugle, he wants revenge on everyone who's ever hurt him." Peter explained to May.
"I see. What about Anna Watson, Mary Jane?" May is worried for her best friend.
"Don't worry, I called her, she said that she's taking the graveyard shift." Mary Jane informed May.
Peter's phone rang, he picked it up to see that Gwen is calling him.
"It's Gwen," Peter answered the call. "Gwen, did you find your..."
"Peter, you need to watch out! Venom is coming to attack you!" Ghost-Spider warns Peter of Venom.
Venom came crashing through the window and surprised everyone there, Peter is shocked that his spider sense didn't warn him of the danger. Venom's appearance came as a shock to May and Mary Jane.
"Surprise, Parker!!!" Venom tells Peter.
"Oh my god!" May is very shocked.
"Is that..." Mary Jane is shocked too.
"Yep, that's Eddie Brock, but as you can see, he's bonded to the symbiote and his powers are much worse that his looks." Peter explained to May and Mary Jane.
"We're flattered, but we came to collect another loved one to add to our collection, starting with the old lady." Venom is targeting Aunt May.
"MJ, get Aunt May out of here!" Peter tells Mary Jane.
Peter fired off a web line at Venom, but he caught it and pulled Peter towards him and punched him hard in the face. Venom then pinned Peter down with all his strength, Peter looked at May and Mary Jane.
"Run!!!" Peter yelled out to them.
Mary Jane is escorting May to safety as Venom spotted them making their escape.
"Not so fast!" Venom lets go of Peter.
Venom moved and jumped quickly towards the front door, he managed to block their escape.
"We only want the old lady, you come next later, so don't test us!" Venom says to Mary Jane.
Venom shoved Mary Jane down on the ground without any regret as Peter watched what Venom has done. He got mad and charged at Venom with all his strength and pushed him against the wall in anger.
"Don't you dare touch her!!!" Peter is very angry.
Venom strikes back with a knee to Peter's gut and punched him back, Peter fell back in pain.
"Ooh! We touched a nerve there! Good, this is exactly what we both want, to make you suffer for all the misery you've caused us. Do you remember? Do you remember what you did to us? Shall we remind you?!" Venom says to Peter.
Peter tries to get himself back up until Venom punched him hard in the face again like Peter did to Eddie Brock last week.
"You made us look like losers in everyone's eyes!" Venom reminded Peter.
Venom punched Peter down again without remorse.
"You made us lose our jobs!" Venom reminded Peter.
Venom punched Peter hard in the face again.
"Then you humiliated us!" Venom says to Peter.
Venom kept on punching Peter in the face, over and over again as May and Mary Jane are frightened by what Venom is doing to Peter. Venom then stopped punching Peter as he's slowly losing consciousness from all the beating Venom inflicted upon him.
"Oh no, no, no! We can't have you dying out on us just yet! You still haven't suffered enough. But don't worry about your precious Aunt May, we'll take good care of her!" Venom turns his head toward Aunt May.
Venom turns his attention to May as she's tries to runaway until Venom used his black webbing on her, she's wrapped up and trapped. Mary Jane is getting her up as she sees Venom taking May away from the house.
"No!!!" Mary Jane yelled out.
Mary Jane turns her attention to Peter who looks like he's taken quite the beating, she rushed to his side to see that he's out cold.
"Tiger?! Tiger, wake up!!!" Mary Jane tries to wake Peter up.
Venom came back to the clock tower with Aunt May as George is still trapped in the cocoon, he became shocked to see that Venom has claimed May as another hostage just like him, she seemed unconscious to him,
"Honey, we're home!!!" Venom amused George Stacy.
"May?! What have you done to her?!" George Stacy says to Venom.
"Oh her! She just passed out from the trip! Don't worry, she'll be fine, we still need her alive to make Parker suffer." Venom says to George Stacy.
"You're a monster!" George Stacy insulted Venom.
"Yes, we are, thanks to Parker and your daughter, they're the very reason we exist right now, we are the result of their very own actions. We exist for one thing and one thing only, revenge." Venom says to George Stacy.
Venom has May joined George Stacy as Venom wraps her in a cocoon of black webbing like George Stacy is. George is next to May as she's still unconscious.
"Now you'll have some company!" Venom says to George Stacy.
"You won't get away with this! You're going to lose." George Stacy says to Venom.
"And why is that?" Venom is curious of George's opinion.
"Because it's in your natural." George Stacy tells Venom.
"And how is that? Neither Spider-Man nor Ghost-Spider are powerful enough to stop us! Parker made the mistake of giving up the symbiote, now we're more powerful than they ever were! We have two most precious people they ever love! Where is our disadvantage?" Venom is overconfident in his powers.
"Cause you're arrogant and overconfident, somehow, someway, they'll stop you, that's a promise." George Stacy tells Venom.
"We'll see about that, once We break them, both physically and mentally. Only when they've have suffered more than enough, then we'll allow them to die." Venom says to George Stacy.
Venom then leaves the clock tower leaving George alone with May as he's still powerless to help his daughter.
Sometime later, Peter woke up to find out that he's at the Spider-Cave as Gwen and Mary Jane are surprised that he woke up, they tended to his side as he's laying on a cot.
"Easy Tiger, you're safe." Mary Jane helping Peter.
"Aunt May?" Peter is worried about his aunt.
"I'm so sorry, but Venom took her after he finished with you." Mary Jane tells Peter.
"You were lucky to be alive this time. It was careless to face him alone." Gwen says to Peter.
"I didn't have a choice, I was caught off guard, I didn't even sense him, he somehow manage to make himself immune to my spider sense." Peter says to Gwen.
"I'm sorry I wasn't there in time to help you, he tricked me into going to the bridge so that you would be left vulnerable without my help. I was so careless, forgive me Pete." Gwen says to Peter.
"No, this wasn't your fault, Gwen. This was all mine and mine alone." Peter blames himself for everything.
"Peter, that's not true." Gwen assured Peter that's he's not to blame.
"Is it? I humiliated Brock and destroyed his whole life, I was careless to leave the symbiote behind, I created Venom. He's a monster of my very own making, everything that is happening to your dad and my aunt is all my fault." Peter still blames himself for Venom's actions.
"Tiger... you can't blame yourself for who Eddie Brock has become. Truth is, I think that deep down he was always like this before he became Venom." Mary Jane speaks from personal experience.
"What are you talking about, MJ?" Peter is confused by her meaning.
Mary Jane sighed. "Have I ever told you both about my dad?"
"No, but we've always known that you don't talk about your dad a lot, and we know that it's a tough subject for you, so we never pry on it, out of respect for you." Gwen says to Mary Jane.
"Okay, I'll tell you both, even though I've worked so hard to put it behind me. My dad was young and he married my mom at a early age in college, then years later they had me, a daughter. My dad had dreams, he wanted to become a writer, he decided to pursue his dreams. But he never could write a decent novel, and he had a family to provide. Eventually all his failures and frustrations finally got to him, he began to drink heavily and became verbally abusive to his family, thinking that we're the reason he's failing. Then one day, he took it too far, he slapped my mother in the face in anger." Mary Jane isn't comfortable talking about it to her friends.
Peter and Gwen are shocked to find out what Mary Jane had to go through as a little girl, witnessing her parents fight is traumatic. Gwen is already familiar with the story since she heard from Wilson Fisk months ago, but this is actually the first time Peter learned about it.
"I'm so sorry, MJ, I had no idea what you had to go through." Peter felt sorry for Mary Jane.
"If I'm telling you both this, it's because I want you to understand that there are people in this world who are too broken inside and they're very angry at life, thinking the whole world is out to get them and not being fair to them, they justify their anger by taking out on everybody they deemed so, thinking that the world owes them." Mary Jane describing Eddie Brock's type just like her father.
"You're saying that..." Peter didn't get to finish his sentence.
"I think that Eddie Brock is one of them, he and my father, they're exactly the same." Mary Jane says to Peter.
"Yeah... I'm starting to see it." Peter is familiar with Eddie Brock's experience in life.
"Tiger, what you did to him, that was on you, I get that. But what he's doing right now, to you and everyone else, it's on him and him alone, keep that in mind. Okay, Tiger?" Mary Jane says to Peter.
"I will, thank you MJ, for... everything." Peter smiled as he felt better.
Peter looked at Mary Jane with a different look than before. Gwen noticed something strange between Peter and Mary Jane that has been going on since last week, neither of them has told Gwen what really happened between them.
"Okay, now we need to find Venom and stop him, once and for all." Peter says to the girls.
"How? Even if we do find him, he's too powerful for us to take on together." Gwen says to Peter.
"Not without his suit, the symbiote is the source of all our problems. We take it away from Brock, then he'll be powerless." Peter suggested to Gwen.
"Okay, but it won't be easy. How do we take the symbiote off of Brock?" Gwen is wondering.
"The same way I took it off the first time, but we'll need to lure Venom into a trap." Peter is thinking of a plan.
"How do you suggest we do that?" Gwen is listening.
"We poke the bear and get him angry." Peter suggested to Gwen.
"What?" Gwen is clueless.
"Even with the symbiote, he's still Eddie Brock deep down inside and he's still has an ego. We threaten his ego, he won't be able to resist, trust me." Peter says to Gwen.
"I do trust you, Peter. Got any idea?" Gwen says to Peter.
"I've got one." Peter smiled with an idea.
Venom is swinging through the city as he's reaching his apartment window, he climbs on through and reverted back to Eddie Brock.
"What a night, it has been so much fun." Eddie Brock smiled with pride.
He walked into his living room to turn on the lights, he became shocked to find out what happened to the living room, the walls were covered in different newspapers articles and internet printouts of Eddie Brock's humiliation and being fired.
"What the hell?! No!!!" Eddie Brock is offended and angry.
The tv turned itself back on by its self as its playing a video on YouTube, it's an old news report from Jameson himself on the day Eddie lost his job.
"This is J Jonah Jameson of the Daily Bugle, I owe the people of New York an apology for slandering Spider-Man with a fake photo. That is correct, the photo that was issued in today's paper was a fake and I was deceived. The man who sold me a forgery and was responsible for this whole mess is Eddie Brock." Jameson speaks to the press.
Eddie is feeling angry at watching this video of Jameson speaking out against him in public, it's starting to get to him.
"That's right, I'm saying from my own mouth, Eddie Brock is a disgrace, he deceived this newspaper tabloid with his deceits and lies, he lied to the entire city and it's people with his phony photo. But rest assured that's I've already taken care of him... Eddie Brock had been officially fired." Jameson speaks to the press.
Eddie turned into Venom, he punched out the TV in anger as he lost his cool, he destroyed it. Venom is still mad that he had to go that humiliation again.
"No!!! Who is doing this?!!!" Venom is very angry.
Venom's phone is ringing, he answered the call.
"Hello Venom! Did you like the surprise? Look outside!" Spider-Man taunts Venom.
Venom is taking a peek out his window, he spotted Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider outside across another building, they both waved at Venom.
"You!!!" Venom is pissed at Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider.
"Now we're going to play a game, it's called catch us if you can, loser!" Spider-Man taunts and insulted Venom.
"Damn you, Spider Punks!!!!" Venom yelled out in anger.
Venom tossed the phone down hard in anger, he came crashing out the window and swinging towards them as they can see.
"Looks like we got his attention." Ghost-Spider says to Spider-Man.
"Obviously, let's go!" Spider-Man jumps off the rooftop.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider swings away escaping from Venom who is still chasing after them in anger.
"You both shall pay dearly for this!!! You can run, but you can't hide!!!" Venom swinging after the heroes.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider are still swinging away from Venom who is surprising catching up to them as Ghost-Spider.
"It's no good, Spidey! He's getting closer!!!" Ghost-Spider tells Spider-Man.
"There's two of us and only one of him, he can't catch both of us, we'll have to split up!!!" Spider-Man swinging through the city.
"Alright, let's do it!!!" Ghost-Spider is still swinging.
"Now!!!" Spider-Man splits up from Ghost-Spider.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider each split up and went in separate directions, Venom stopped at one of the rooftop as he's deciding which one he'll go after.
"Very clever, but futile. We hate Spider-Man the most!" Venom says to himself.
Venom jumped off the rooftop and decided to go after Spider-Man first, Spider-Man is still swinging away as he picked up on Venom chasing after him.
"Come on, Spidey! You're almost there!" Spider-Man swinging away from Venom.
He spotted a construction site where a new building is still being developed, he swings towards the site as Venom is still swinging after him.
Spider-Man managed to made it to the construction site and disappeared from sight, Venom made it there as well, he looks around to find Spider-Man somewhere around here.
"Where'd Spider-Wuss go! Spider-Wuss!!! Come out and play!!!" Venom calling out to Spider-Man.
Spider-Man dropped in and slammed Venom on the head. "Tag!!!"
Spider-Man jumped off and landed in a three point stance, Venom shakes off the impact and sees Spider-Man is still here, Ghost-Spider landed next to Spidey as both of Venom's enemies are here before him.
"So you both want to face us alone! Brave, but pointless! We've beaten you both once before, do you really think this time will be any different?" Venom says to the two heroes.
"We're counting on it!" Ghost-Spider isn't backing down.
"I'm giving you the chance to stop this madness, Brock. Get the symbiote off before it's too late." Spider-Man made one last attempt to reach out to Eddie Brock.
"It's already too late, there is no Eddie Brock anymore, there is only Venom!" Venom says to the heroes.
"If that were true, then he wouldn't have reacted like you just done. Eddie is still inside, still acting a like a loser." Spider-Man taunts Venom.
"Shut up!" Venom is annoyed by Spider-Man.
"Why? It's true, Eddie Brock is nothing without the suit, just a broken man who can't even make it as a photographer!" Ghost-Spider taunts Venom.
"SHUT UP!!!" Venom yelled out in anger.
Venom charged in at the spiders as they've split up, both spider counters by webbing his hands and feet down on the floor, they've immobilized him.
"That should hold him!" Spider-Man says to Ghost-Spider.
Venom used up all his strength to pull himself of the floor and surprised them both.
"Better think again!" Ghost-Spider says to Spider-Man.
Venom is still standing strong, he then charges again at them, they both responded by charging at him too, both Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider fought him together, Venom punched Spider-Man in the face, then strikes back at Ghost-Spider with an elbow strike.
Spider-Man came back and punched Venom in the face hard, staggering him backwards, Ghost-Spider managed to web both his legs and pulled hard, making him fall backwards. Venom is getting himself back up on his feet.
"All those hits are nothing, all you're doing is delaying the inevitable!" Venom says to the heroes.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider waited until he strikes back again, they look around them to find some metal poles stacked nearby.
"Time to finish this!" Venom is ready to strike.
Venom charged at them as the two spiders split up as they each grabbed two poles from the pile, Venom decided to attack Spider-Man, Venom charged again as Spider-Man ring the two poles together, creating loud vibrations, causing Venom pain from the loud sounds.
"Ahh!!!!" Venom is in pain.
Venom attempts to escape but Ghost-Spider blocked his escape and rings the poles together, causing Venom more pain again. Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider have him surrounded as they ring some more sounds. They then slammed the poles down hard on the ground as they still vibrating more sounds, making Venom fall on his knees.
"Stop!!! It's too much!!!! Venom is suffering in pain.
"Alright, this is it, let's give it everything we've got!" Spider-Man tells Ghost-Spider,
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider grabbed some more poles a slammed them down creating a cage trapping Venom inside, they walk around ringing the poles and creating more sounds to hurt the symbiote. They finally swings the poles hard, creating an even louder sound. The symbiote is having a hard time maintaining its bond to Eddie Brock as it's forced to separate from its host.
"Spider-Man, look! It's Eddie Brock! The symbiote Is leaving him!" Ghost-Spider points out.
Spider-Man webbed Eddie's back and pulled hard enough to finally separate the symbiote from him, Eddie Brock is tossed aside and is all normal. They look back to see the symbiote is making another attempt to escape.
"Oh no, you don't!" Spider-Man swings the pole again.
The metal pole got hit and vibrate another loud sound, causing the symbiote to stop in its tracks. Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider took the opportunity to use their webshooters to keep the symbiote from escaping again.
"Ghost-Spider, get the sheets! Hurry!" Spider-Man keeps an eye on the symbiote.
Ghost-Spider managed to find a huge white sheet as she took to where the symbiote is trapped, it's slithering through the webbing as they cover the entire symbiote and wrapped him up inside the sheet bag.
Spider-Man holding the wrapped sheet bag. "You're not getting away again. Not this time."
"Spider-Man, look down below." Ghost-Spider pointing down from the building.
They looked down to find a cement truck nearby an empty hole. They jumped down towards the grounds with the symbiote in hand. Ghost-Spider stands by the controls of the cement truck.
"Time to end this nightmare, once and for all... do it!" Spider-Man holding the white sheet bag.
Ghost-Spider turned on the cement mixer and wet cement is pouring out the back into the hole, Spider-Man hold the bag over the wet cement and dropped the symbiote down inside as more wet cement is pouring over it.
Eddie Brock recovers himself only to be powerless without the symbiote, he got himself up and went to look down at the symbiote being buried underneath wet concrete.
"My symbiote!!! No!!!" Eddie Brock is shocked.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider patched up the hole and finally buried the symbiote once and for all. Eddie then watched the two spiders swinging back to the building. Eddie stepped back as he's powerless without his symbiote, neither of them are too happy with him.
"You... you took away my symbiote!!!" Eddie Brock isn't happy at either of them.
Eddie then throws a fist at Spider-Man but the web-slinger catch his fist easily and stills grips it. Spidey then uses a small amount of strength in his fingers to crush Eddie's fist very slowly, making Eddie flinch in pain.
"Ahh!!!" Eddie Brock yelled out in pain.
"Where are they?!!!" Spider-Man demanded answers.
"What?" Eddie Brock acting clueless.
"My father and Peter's aunt!!! You took them!!! Where are they?!!!" Ghost-Spider demanded answers.
"Why should I tell you both anything?! You took away my symbiote and turned me back into the same loser who lost everything! I'll never tell you and I hope that they die out very soon from hunger!" Eddie Brock still protesting against them.
Spider-Man then picked up Eddie Brock by the neck and hold him above the ledge, he looked down to see that he's very far high up.
"You both can't do this! This is crossing the line!!!" Eddie Brock is frightened.
"You crossed the line first, Eddie, when you kidnapped our loved ones and harmed so many innocent people! So you better tell us where to find them, or we'll make you talk in a not so pleasant way!" Spider-Man is intimidating Eddie Brock.
"So... what's it going to be?" Ghost-Spider is also intimidating.
Eddie Brock is still scared for his life as neither of the spiders are playing around.
Later at the Spider-Cave, Mary Jane has been staying behind since her two friends left together to face Venom. She's still waiting for them to come back and hoped that both George and May are alright.
"Come on, where are you guys?" Mary Jane is worried.
"We're right here, MJ!" Peter speaks from behind.
Mary Jane turned around to see Peter and Gwen returning with both May and George safely, Mary Jane smiled as both of them are alright.
"Mrs. Parker, Captain Stacy, I'm so glad that both made it back." Mary Jane smiled as she felt relieved.
"We're both alright, thank you for worrying for us." May smiled at Mary Jane.
May and Mary Jane hugged each other, then they broke up as Mary Jane has questions concerning Venom.
"And Venom?" Mary Jane is curious.
"Gone, for good." Peter stated to Mary Jane.
Mary Jane felt relieved. "Let's hope so. What about Brock?"
"I've managed to convince Captain Stacy to pull some strings and... he's currently locked up in Ravencroft Institute." Peter explained to Mary Jane.
"A psychiatrist hospital? You must be going soft, Tiger." Mary Jane is surprised by Peter's gestures.
"Prison doesn't really feel like the best environment for a guy like Brock. At least this way, he'll get all the help he needs, it's the least I can do for him, given everything I've put him through." Peter says to Mary Jane.
"Are you sure about this? He still knows your secret, what happens if he starts telling?" George Stacy is still concerned.
"Then we'll cross that bridge if it ever gets to it, besides there's a chance that nobody will believe him anyway." Peter says to George Stacy.
"Let's pray on that." Mary Jane says to the group.
"Amen." May agrees with Mary Jane.
"The important thing is, is that everyone made it home safely, the symbiote is out of lives for good, this nightmare is finally over." Peter says to the group.
Peter, Mary Jane, and May remain talking as Gwen and George are the only ones who are quiet, Gwen has a feeling that things won't be the same anymore since George now knows the truth of her being Ghost-Spider.
It's morning time as Gwen and George just returned home after a very long exhausting night, Gwen yawned out as she's very tired out and didn't get a good night's sleep from fighting Venom.
"What a night, I'm going to crash." Gwen is about to walk to her room.
"Gwendolyne Stacy, wait. We need to talk, it's important." George Stacy is being serious.
Gwen stayed behind as she and George went to the living room to have a very serious talk, Gwen knows what it's about. They sit down on the couch as they're about to talk.
"Dad, I'm... I'm so sorry that I kept the truth from you." Gwen apologies to her dad.
"Why, Gwen? Why become Ghost-Spider? I want you to tell me, everything, and I mean absolutely everything." George Stacy wants to hear details.
"Okay, few months ago after the Stark Expo, I was bitten by a spider, it's gave me powers just like it did to Peter before me. Since then, I've decided to become a hero just like Spider-Man, like Peter." Gwen explained her origins as Ghost-Spider.
"Did he know from the beginning about you?" George Stacy asking Gwen.
"No, he's didn't know at first, and I didn't know about him being Spider-Man either, it's was only after we've defeated the Sinister Six and we've decided to trust each other with our secrets, that's when we learned the truth." Gwen explained about Peter.
"When you found out that Peter was the very same hero who saved your life last year." George Stacy says to his daughter.
"And he found out that I saved his life from Crime-Master. He also told me that you knew who he was before he ever told you." Gwen says to her dad.
"I didn't tell anyone that I knew Peter was Spider-Man, because he saved your life and I'm forever in his debt. But Gwennie, did you ever think about me when you're out their risking your life, knowing that you could die?" George Stacy says to Gwen.
"Everyday, dad." Gwen says to her father.
George Stacy sighed. "Look, I appreciate what you're doing, I really do. But as of right now, I want you to stop being Ghost-Spider, I'm I clear?"
"But dad?" Gwen is shocked and is about to protest this decision.
"No 'but's', are we clear?" George Stacy won't change his decision.
Gwen sighed in agreement. "Okay."
"Good. Give me the suit, please." George Stacy ask for the suit.
Gwen hands her dad the backpack containing her Ghost-Spider suit, she reluctantly gave up being a hero for her dad. Gwen got up after giving her dad the suit and walked away.
"Gwen!" George Stacy says to Gwen walking away.
Gwen stopped to look back at her dad.
"I lost your mother... I don't want to lose you too." George Stacy looked at his daughter with worry in his eyes.
Gwen nodded her head without saying a word, she then walked to her bedroom as he dad now has the Ghost-Spider suit. Gwen Stacy has given up on being a hero.
At the Parker Residence, Anna Watson is in the kitchen with May as she's still in shock about what just happened here in the house.
"Who or what caused this damage to the window?" Anna Watson asking May.
"Probably kids having fun playing ball and accidentally broken it." May made up an lie.
Peter walked up to the bedroom to check on Mary Jane as neither of them had a chance to talk about their moment. Peter knocked on the bedroom door.
"Who is it?" Mary Jane asking from the inside.
"It's me, Peter. Can I come in?" Peter asking permission to enter.
"Yeah, come in." Mary Jane permit Peter inside the room.
Peter opens the door to see Mary Jane all dressed up in her normal attire.
"So what did you want, Tiger?" Mary Jane is curious.
"I was just wondering if we could talk?" Peter is nervous.
"About what?" Mary Jane asking Peter.
"What happened... between us... that kiss." Peter says to Mary Jane.
Mary Jane sighed. "Peter, I don't want to talk about it."
"MJ, we need to clear this out, this can't go on. Please." Peter needs to let it out.
"Tiger, if you're feeling guilty for kissing me, then don't. You shouldn't have to be ashamed." Mary Jane tells Peter.
"MJ, you were Harry's girlfriend and he's my best friend, how can you think that can't feel guilty for what we've done behind his back! This is all wrong!" Peter is still feeling guilty.
"Tiger, you have nothing to be guilty of, seriously, me and Harry already broke up, you and Gwen aren't even together anymore. Besides, what happened that day was because you were under the influence of the symbiote, you had no control over yourself, it wasn't your fault." Mary Jane assures Peter.
"Even so, I still have feelings for Gwen and I can't shake off that kiss we shared. How can I forget what we've done?" Peter still feeling bad.
"You'll have to, because you and I are only friends, that's all we can be, nothing more. We need to forget that moment, for our friend's sakes. Please understand me, Tiger." Mary Jane says to Peter.
Peter is saddened. "I understand, I won't bring it up again."
"Thank you for understanding." Mary Jane says to Peter.
"Excuse me." Peter turns around and walks away.
Mary Jane is left alone as Peter shuts the door, Mary Jane let out a tear as she can't forget that moment she and Peter first kissed.
"I'm sorry, Tiger." Mary Jane is saddened in tears.
At Ravencroft Institute, a couple of orderlies are escorting Eddie Brock trapped in straitjacket walking down the hallway. They opened a door to an empty room and shoved Eddie inside.
"Welcome to Ravencroft, Mr. Brock. Enjoy your stay."
"Oh, one more thing, be careful of the neighbor across your room, he's... very unhinged."
The orderlies closed the doors, Eddie Brock is now a patient of Ravencroft. He moved around to take a peek from his door. He looked across the to the other room the orderlies talked about, he sees someone with messy red hair looking back.
"Hello there, pal. Don't be afraid." Cletus Kasady looked and smiles at Eddie Brock.
"Who are you?" Eddie Brock is curious about his new neighbor.
"Cletus Kasady, a pleasure." Cletus Kasady introduced himself.
"Why are you in here?" Eddie Brock asking Cletus Kasady.
"Mostly the kind of things that can give a sane person nightmares, or maybe I was just born a psycho. Who knows? What about you?" Cletus Kasady asking Eddie Brock.
"I was wronged by mostly everyone, especially by a couple of kids who destroyed my whole life, I was just seeking a chance at vengeance. They took away my symbiote and locked me here in this place." Eddie Brock tells his story.
"In other words, you were just misunderstood by everyone, just like me." Cletus Kasady says to Eddie Brock.
"Exactly. But one day, somehow, someway, I will get my symbiote back and we shall be Venom again, that's a promise." Eddie Brock still wants revenge on Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider.
"Well good luck to you. As for me, I'm going to get out of here one day, and when I do... there's going to be carnage!" Cletus Kasady gave a creepy smile.
