To Harry Potter and Ron Weasley,
When you find these you'll be living in a completely different time then the one I know of. Harry you'll have your parents this time around, Ron you will probably be best friends with Harry before Hogwarts. There will not be a troll that you save me from our first year that will lead to the adventures of our friendship. It may take you longer to warm up to the Know-it-all Hermione Granger. If you find this and have yet to become her friend, do so. She will be one of the most loyal friends you will have. If you continue to read this you will find out how I went from being Hermione Granger in your Time to Aphrodite Prewett that you will most likely know growing up.
James Potter remembered the letter he found in the room of requirement while he watched Dite, Lily and Alice poor over wedding magazines that Mrs. Evens had gifted Lily with after he purposed a few weeks back. Contrary to the belief of a majority of those he had gone to school with he wasn't naturally talented as he pretended to be, he just remembered everything he had read in his life. James was also one of those people who was obsessed with observing others around him.
Once he read the journal that he found after fallowing Dite once, he placed things together. The strange things that she would mutter to herself, he visits to Dumbledore began to make sense. But he suspected that the claim of being an oracle was true. But James had to agree with the theory that Dite wrote about, the sands of the time turners and the fates decided to giver her the gift of true sight dreams. He knew the danger she would be in if anyone had found the journals.
"Oh this one is beautiful!" Lily's voice brought James back from his inner thoughts.
"So you're sure you want a winter wedding Lily?" Dite asked.
"Yes, I love winter and it will be beautiful Dite." Lily laughed.
Now that James knew why Dite used to look at them all with sad eyes, he understood why she was wary of those in this time. Many of those they where in school with had caused her much pain. James wondered if Regulus knew about her past or not. If Regulus knew, then the guy was very good at keeping it to himself. But then again James over the years found Regulus had to read. He wasn't as easy as Sirius, Remus or Peter had been.
James knew after the first few months of being Sirius Blacks roommate, the he had some issues with who he was and who he was supposed to be. Sure the two where quick friends and on the outside Sirius had denounced his family beliefs but James could tell that he struggled with it. James knew that he struggle with it still to this day. Sirius always thought that those in the Black family had gone insane from the inbreeding to keep the family pure. Hell Sirius's father and mother are second cousin's.
"Oh, I love this one." Alice said excitedly
"Muggle fashion is interesting compared to the fashion that the wizarding world has." Lily explained.
James turned his attention from the Ladies to Remus who was passed out on the couch not far from the ladies. Remus is feeling the effects of the full moon coming up in a few days. He always seemed to get very ill close to the full moon, which helped convince James that Remus was a werewolf when he was a second year after receiving a book on magical beings for Christmas or Yule. James also had watched Remus over the first two years until the unfortunate lesson in Defense their third year that was given by a Professor that was very of the opinion that Werewolves where monsters and that those who where turned where evil. Remus was far from evil as anyone could get as himself, even if he grew fur once a month. As far as James ever was concerned, Remus just went through P.M.S or Pre Moon Sickness. James knew that the end of his explanation of Remus's PMS was corny as Sirius had said, but it works.
Now Regulus's PMS was completely different. He was energetic event when he felt ill. Regulus, James would describe would be, jittery the first moon. He seemed to need to be near Dite as if to reassure him that she was fine until Dumbledore brought him to the shack to stay while he transformed. Sirius, Peter and himself had waited till the heard two howls that night to join them. Remus wanted to be sure that the wolves wouldn't react horribly to each other before bringing the animagus's into the space.
"James, do you think that Sirius and Regulus will be back soon?" Peter asked.
It seemed that the smallest thing would pull James from his thinking and musings today. Looking at the clock over the mantel, he noted that they had about four hours till the sun set and six till the wolves transformed. James looking at Peter, he observed that his other friend was no longer anxious around them as he was their sixth year while under the thumb of Malfoy. James was livid that his friend had sent something meant to hurt a friend. That caused a rift in the group of friends, worse then Severus Snape's out burst their fifth year. Finding out the truth before the moon caused that moon for Remus to be a bloody nightmare.
Peter no longer fallowed Sirius or him everywhere, he always agreed to watch the ladies while Sirius, James, Regulus and Remus where busy during the day. Sirius and Regulus began taking lessons from Lord Black to become a possible duel lord ship of the family. This Idea was brought up by Regulus as he knew that being a werewolf he would now be looked down upon, even if it was Dumbledore's fault in the first place. James and Sirius had also began to train to become Auras as Remus and Regulus worked together to look into the treatment of werewolves.
"Well, it too bad that there isn't an actual place in the wizarding world that specializes in wedding gowns." Lily spoke exasperated.
"True, it would be a great idea to create." Alice agreed.
"Well why not us?" Dite asked.
Raising an eye, James turned to the Ladies conversation. He knew that Dite wasn't sure what she wanted to do yet. Lily had taken up the Healer apprenticeship that Madam Pumfry had recommended her for and Alice was also in the Aura program like him self. The idea would be interesting, he mused as he watched Remus wake up out of the corner of his eye.
"What do you mean Dite?" Lily asked.
"Well just that, why don't we create a store like that, a bridal boutique." Dite explained.
"I thought you where offered the chance to become a Curse Breaker?" Alice asked.
"I was, but that doesn't mean that we couldn't open a shop like this."
James agreed that their careers wouldn't need to be placed on the back burner. They would just have to find someone or others who would run and take care of the shop while they continued there own paths. Just as the conversation was developing, the flue came to life in a bright green flame. Regulus and Sirius walked through. Sirius looked grateful to no longer being where they where. Regulus was wearing the signature Black smirk that the Black Brother's Shared.
"How did it go boys?" Dite asked as she walked into Regulus's out stretched arms.
"Fine, if you like watching Snivellus's home everyday." Sirius said dramatically.
"It went well Dite, I've established a time line, though I would like to make sure that nothing changes before you meet with him." Regulus tightened his arms around Dite.
"Don't I get a hug Aphrodite?" Sirius wined pathetically.
"No, you wined the whole day." Regulus muttered as everyone Laughed.
Watching Regulus in that moment, James realized that the other man does know Dite's secret just by how he looks at her as she pacifies Sirius's dramatic side.
