The strange feeling of apparating was still hanging in his stomach as his brain slowly began to clear the fog from his mind. His body still felt heavy from the after effects of the Cruciatus curse but he was no longer feeling the pain, meaning that he was administered a potion to combat the after effects. As the fog cleared he realized a few things that had happened since he passed out from the pain of willing himself to do things with the after effects racking his body.

One, where he was, wasn't his home. It didn't have the lingering smell of muggle alcohol and cigarette smoke that his pathetic father used in the home. Two, the chair he was seated on had a slight firmness to it, were his chairs where very worn and soft. And lastly, the place he was had the feeling that the place had been cleansed and that was a calming effect.

"Welcome Severus, Let's have a conversation." A voice spoke as his eyes began to open.

Severus recognized the voice, though as he blinked to become adjusted to the light that flooded his eyes he came face to face with the chit he blamed a few of the events on. Aphrodite Prewett was sitting across from him, watching what he would do next that he was awake.

"What sort of conversation requires you to abduct a man from his home to yours?" He sneered.

"If I had sent you an owl, would you have come willingly?" She smiled at him with a knowing look in her eyes.

Severus was slightly taken back when Lily walked in with a tray containing a few cups and a tea pot. Seeing Lily there meant that this witch had indeed planned to have a long conversation with him. Severus looked around the room and noticed that both James Potter and Regulus Black where standing past Prewett near the door.

"You and I know that you wouldn't have come on your own accord Severus Snape." Aphrodite drew his attention back to her.

"Obviously." He glared at her.

"You probably would have coordinated with Avery to track you once you arrived here alone. Possibly turning myself over to the Dark Lord to gain favor." He watched her shrug and speaking as though the Dark Lord doesn't scare her.

"You shouldn't speak so casually of him. He is a feared man." Severus spoke evenly hiding that he did fear the wizard.

" Fear in the name it's self only increases fear in the thing it's self. I do not fear Tom Riddle, The Dark Lord, Lord Voldimort; which ever you chose to call him Snape." She rolled her eyes at him.

Severus was slightly put off by this girls fearless nature as she spoke the Dark Lord's name. But he didn't know of anyone by the name of Tom Riddle.

"Di, I think we should get this over with." James's voice rang though the room.

"Of course, Lily you go ahead." Aphrodite picked up the cup of tea and took a sip.

"Severus, I have come to realize that even though I came to forgive you to some point. I never informed you of that. So I apologize for that." Lily spoke as she handed him a cup of tea.

Severus looked at Lily, the cup and then to James, narrowing his eyes. He wouldn't put it pass the wizard that bullied him repeatedly to poison, or some sort of potion into his tea.

"Oh for Merlin's sake, James Potter did not poison the tea or put a potion in the tea to humiliate you Sev." Lily spoke exasperated.

"One can never be to careful as the man had done so on many other occasions at school." Severus took a sip of the tea.

Severus waited a few minutes to let the room settle more. He was glad that Lily had forgiven him and apologized for not voicing that to him. He was still unnerved by Aphrodite Prewett and her attitude to what is happening outside of this room. He knew that if it got out that he have spoken to the witch and didn't tell the Dark Lord, there would be hell to pay.

"Severus Snape, I'm sure you are aware that your Lord suspects that I'm gifted with sight, correct." The witch spoke.

"He does."

"Well He is correct, I do see things and events that the Fates deem me to see. That being said, what would you say if I told you that you're the reason that Lily is hunted and killed by the half-blood you serve?" Aphrodite asked watching him curiously.

"I would never."

"I have seen it. You hear a prophecy take it to your mad-man and he deems that it speaks of Lily and James, along with their son." She interrupted him.

That shocked him to his core. Severus knew that Lily only saw him as a friend and possibly a brother before he called her that foul mouthed word in embarrassment and humiliation. But hearing that this witch knew that Lily and James would have a son and that he had a hand in killing them. That was over whelming to him.

"I have seen you do things that I'm sure you never thought of doing. After their death I have seen you vow to protect the boy that will have her eyes. You face many hard ships as you travel the path your on now."

Vowing to whom to protect the boy that was Lily's son? Who would make him take a vow like that? Where there other stipulations to the vow? If he asked would he be told? Severus had many thought passing through his head from hearing the witch speak.

"Would you like to hear everything pertaining to the path you are currently on?" Aphrodite asked him.

"I would like to hear what you have to say." He nodded at her.

"First you need to agree to a vow to never revel what you are told today. This is to keep everyone in this room safe." Aphrodite began.

"Obviously, anything else." He drawled.

"I also would like you to tell me if anyone ever is gifted a gift by him. With that I would like you to bond to my house elf Milo. That is incase the Dark Lord asks for the help of one elf for a mission." She explained never breaking eye contact with him.

Severus looked at the little elf that he had just noticed was in the room. He surmised that the fates showed her a time where the Dark Lord would ask for a followers house elf for a task. If that was true then she had been planning to have this conversation for a while.

Standing both Aphrodite and himself reached out. Grasping each others forearm, Regulus coming over wand raised. A light string woven around their locked arms. Even though neither had ever participated in an unbreakable vow, they had read about them.

"Will you Severus Snape never revel what is spoken tonight to anyone. Will you help protect those you care about and those they deem family in conjunction. Will you allow a house elf bond to you and pass on word of a task that the Dark Lord requests an elf for. Will you agree to passing information pertaining to any gifts that the Dark lord gifts to those in his inner circle. Will you keep the information that Aphrodite Prewett is an Oracle to yourself and disway those who might also believe this. " Regulus spoke.

"I Do." Severus agreed feeling the vow taking hold of him, linking to his magic core and soul.

"Will you Aphrodite Prewett agree to give any information pertaining to his current path that the Fates have gifted you with. Will you help him use that information to help protect those around you and those yet to come. Will you never use this vow to control him." Regulus spoke to Aphrodite, surpising Severus that the witch also was making a vow to him in return.

"I Do." She spoke with determination in her voice and conviction in her eyes as she staired into his.
