Hello Loves!

So as the last few chapters have shown we are getting closer and closer to the end of this story. Hopefully you all enjoy what is to come and the inevitable ending of this story. Enjoy this next chapter, and keep the reviews coming.

Regulus, James, Sirius, Remus and Peter were all seated in the lounge waiting for Dite to return with Severus Snape and the little elf Willow. It was a stormy night. Fabion and Gideon were on an Order mission while Sophi was in Greece looking through her family library for another way to destroy the Horcurxes that the Dark Lord had made. That was where Dite was, retrieving the one that Snape volunteered to keep safe by offering up Willow as the Prince family elf. That was a shocker, to find out that Snape was related to the noble family Prince. Which explained why he was as good as he was at Potions. The Prince family were known for their ability to manipulate potions and charms, while the Potter family were known to be explementary at Transfiguration, while the Black family dove into the dark arts and curses. The Prewett family were known for their charms, wards and their unique ability to dismantle curses. This was learned as a child of a pureblood family. You learned everything about your own family first and then the other prestigious families of their world, Malfoy, Black, Bones, Weasley, Potter, Lestrange, Prewett, and others. This was so that the children could possibly make a match with other families. But as more and more are marring half-blood and muggleborns, Purebloods are becoming the minority of the wizarding world.

Waiting was the killer for all in the room. Most were home when the little elf returned after being summoned by Snape a few weeks ago. Since Dite and Snape began planning on their trip to retrieve the object that was entrusted to Snape by the Dark Lord. James, Remus, Sirius and Severus all witnessed Dite and Regulus's argument on her going to the cave to get the object. They saw her hair spark to life and not once did the new werewolf flinch at that. It was something until Dite asked if he truly trusted her like he told her over and over. That broke the man on his firm argument to keeping her away from the object as the last one nearly got them both killed. With the storm raging outside the Prewett manor, they nearly missed the pop of apparition threw the wards sounding in the storm. The guys waiting ran out the door not bothered by the rain. Severus, Dite, and Willow the elf barley got through the wards before they landed. As they approached Severus and Dite, James noticed that something was wrong. Severus had laid Dite on her back flat on the ground, wand pointed at her throat as water began to flow out of her mouth.

"I sware I will not be responsible for your wolf going out of control if you die Prewett." Severus sneered at the girl.

Severus and Dite cased out the cave both inside and outside, but neither where ready for the effects of the potion. Severus was planning to drink the potion, but Dite reasoned that he was better at defending against darker magic then she was. Even if she had gained an O on her NEWT. He wasn't prepared for what would happen, he watched as she cried over leaving a Harry and Ron. She reasoned with them in her mind that she wasn't responsible for leaving them. She told who every she was seeing that she knew that it was a trap and that they should have listened to her before she apologized for leaving them. It was like nothing made sense to him but he continued to make her drink the potion.

Once the potion was gone as agreed, he casted the gemmino charm to replicated the locket that was hidden under the potion. Prewett was asking for water as she sat with the elf close to the edge of the crystal island in the cave. Looking for anything to fill with water, he heard a splashing all around them. Severus was not ready to fight off InFieri, or a creature that was human before being turned into the dead walking. As he began to defend he heard the elf calling for Prewett as if something happened to her. Looking at where she was, Severus noticed that she had been pulled under the water by on of the creatures. Making the decision to cast the Fyrfiend spell, which was hard to control even if your well versed in the Dark arts. He instructed the elf that once he broke the surface with her Mistress to apparat them back to Prewett manor. Now as he tried to save her life he was not ready to meet his end by an agree werewolf Fiancé.

"Come on, dam it breath you bloody stubborn witch!" He yelled as the others got to them continuing to draw out the water she inhaled from her lungs.

"What happened?" James Potter ran to her other side.

"The bloody cave was infested with infieri, she nearly died from the potion and drowning. Stupid chit." Severus growled out.

"Infieri? What the hell, I thought you both said the cave was uninhabitable!" James exclaimed as the last of the water was dispelled from her lungs.

"Potter, from our checks it was. Though I smise that they were stone until the potion was completely drunk, before they would pull who ever had drank the potion to their death." Severus explained as the girl began to cough and sat up to breath.

"What happened?" She asked looking at Severus.

"The next time you have a bloody death wish, take your wolf." He spat.

Severus stood and began to walk back the way the others came from. Wanting to get out of the rain as well as away from the others so they don't make fun of him for actually caring about the girl. After calling for her elf when asked if he had one that the Dark Lord could use, he knew that everything she told him before was true.

Flash Back;

"Severus Snape, you have two paths to take. One where you are partly to blame for the deaths of James and Lily along with dyeing before you reach the age of 40. And one where you can live and thrive next to James and Lily." Prewett began.

"And if I believe you what do you want in return?" Severus asked taken back by her confession of the paths he has.

"That you help up take down the Darkest Wizard that only wants to tip the balance between light and dark to completely dark. Destroying the world as we know it. There will be no one untouched, no one safe from this in either muggle or wizarding world." She spoke, an aery tone in her voice that he had never heard.

Severus watched as the witch in front of him never flinched when she spoke of the Dark Lord Voldemort. It was like she wasn't scared of the mention of his name. Listening to what she had to say about his paths. Severus didn't fully believe what she was saying. But the way that her body language was spoke differently, her eyes had a slight shine to them that caused them to glow slightly. She sat early still as she spoke, and it sounded like she spoke with an echo. He had heard from the conversations of other Death Eaters that the Dark Lord believed that she was an Oracle. A being that could speak to the Fates of Time and Magic.

The wizard wanted her on their side as badly as he wanted to destroy the muggle world. But hearing that what he was doing would destroy both magical and non-magical worlds unnerved him. Sure Severus joined after he lost the one person keeping him from fully joining them, and Malfoy jumped when he was at his most venerable after he heard that his mother was found dead.

"What if I told you Snape that your father had not killed your mother." Prewett spoke, seemingly as she knew he wasn't fully believing her.

"Your wrong, the man wouldn't hesitate to kill her." Severus sneered as he got up, mad that the chit would bring that up.

"Neither would the man that your fallowing. Especially if someone he craved support from because they came from a Noble family line was still on the fence. He wouldn't hesitate to make it look like your father done it." She sneered back.

"How would you know?" He spun back to her and growled out.

Because They showed me when it happened." She spoke.

End of flash back.

"Severus, are you alright?" Lily asked as she opened the door.

"I'm fine lily." He sighed.

"Is Dite alright?" She asked next as she set the drying charm on him.

"Nearly got herself killed is what she did, but she is fine. We better get out of the way so the rest can come in." He bit out.

Once everyone was inside and dried off. Dite had a few potions to help with the pain and the dark potion she enjested.

"3 down 2 to fine." Dite spoke with a small smile

Neekah; Yes it would be terrifing to witness a moment that you only were told about by someone that they did not fully believe at the time. Though the chapter and after re-reading I had a shiver run up my spine that I'm sure many had while reading this chapter.
