Pirates of the Caribbean: Jack and Elizabeth Kiss

This is a poem about the Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Turner's kiss scene in the Pirates of the Caribbean 2 trailer. It is in Elizabeth’s point of view where she is going against everything she believed in and her part in life with Will to kiss Jack.

In This One Second

I feel so strange, it feels so queer

The man I hate makes me so happy now that he's here

I may be right, I may be wrong

But in this moment it feels like it was love all along

In this one second

And it is such an amazing feeling

To go against everything that I believed

And though I'm scared of this new appealing

I know my heart is leading me

In this one second

All that I know, this may be a beautiful mistake

But I think it's a chance that I will take

And I may throw part of my life away

just for this one kiss on this one extraordinary day

In this one second

I feel so strange, it feels so queer

The man I hate makes me so happy now that he's here

I may be right, I may be wrong

And I'm gonna break away in this one second!
