"You three are such a disgrace!'
The team rocket trio flinched as they knelt down with their gaze on the floor, listening to their boss Giovanni yell at them with another recent loss to Ash and his friends.
" I thought I could expect better from your success rate in the past. You completed multiple missions in the past, but since your assignment at the viridian city Pokemon center, not only did you get beat by a kid and his friends, and continue to get best by him instead of stealing his Pikachu. you had this mission for two years now, and you still FAILED!"
James lifted up his head. "But sir-" However, he was cut off.
"SILENCE! I don't know why I bother to let you three continue to allow to try that Pikachu over the past few years, hoping you finally succeed," Giovanni said. He petted his Persain next to him.
A long silence filled the air of team rocket leader's office as the trio got nervous when Giovanni cleared his throat. "Even though you three have been in the organization for a couple of years now, I don't see no potential in keeping you here. You are hereby dismissed of organization and are to return the uniforms tomorrow. Leave my office."
The trio jerked their heads in shock and disappointment as they heard that they were fired.
"DID I STUTTER? I SAID LEAVE!" Giovanni bellowed as he slammed his fist on the table. The trio high-tailed it out of the office and then outside.
"I can't believe i-it..." Jessie stuttered as she walked away from the Team Rocket headquarters.
"We were f-fired, Jessica, you have to believe sooner or later," James said as he looked at his red hair female partner.
"Yea, but now what are we going to do now?" Meowth their Pokemon partner as they continued walking.
"I don't," Jessie answered."We haven't thought about anything but being in Team Rocket these couple of years."
James nodded."That's true, but hey, look on the bright side, guys, we're now free from Team Rocket and being criminals."
"Yeah, but everyone in Kanto knows us," Meowth stated. "I don't think anyone will trust enough to give us a job."
The trio sighed as they reached the main road of Celedon City and reached the main Square. Jessie started walking to the left."Well, guys, my place is this way. I will see you both tomorrow."
James waved as he started walking to the left."Later Jess."
Meowth lifted up his paw. "See ya tomorrow.
The next day Jessie got dressed in an elbow-length lavender shirt and white pants with a red belt and wore black high-top shoes. She then put on a heart shape locket and her green earrings.
She sighed and looked at a picture of her mother before grabbing a blue bag and headed out of her apartment and downstairs with her old Team Rocket uniform.
She walked out of the apartment building and headed to Team Rocket headquarters that was located in the back of the city; she returned her uniform and her membership card and began to walk out of the building running into Cassidy.
"Ah, so it's true. You and the lame-o squad got kicked to the curb by Giovanni. Oh, I dreamed of this day for years, and it finally happened. So Jess, how does it feel to be fired?"
Jessie couldn't stand Cassidy since they met, but she controlled her temper for once and sighed. "You know, Cassidy, I feel that a burden has been lifted off my shoulders. No more running around trying to get praise from Giovanni is running from the law. i'm able to do something with my life now, and there's nothing you can do to ruin it," She said, pushing passed Cassidy. "And tell Bob good luck with being you partner, dumb blonde," She continued ignoring Cassidy's furious screams of calling her dumb blonde.
Jessie ran a hand through her long hair. They were nicely combed into a ponytail instead of in their usual curl as she walked to the Pokemon center, her last before leaving the center. As she entered, she looked around for some disguised faces. She then spotted them sitting at a table near the window.
"James, Meowth, I'm here."
The two turned and saw the red hair woman heading their way. She looked at James and saw him wearing a teal jacket with a red shirt under it. Along with some black pants and green shoes. She then noticed Meowth happily eating a bowl of Pokemon food courtesy of Nurse Joy. Jessie sat down and placed her bag on the chair next to her.
"So wants been going?" She asked.
"Well, I just returned my uniform and pass to you know where this morning, and then brought some Calcium for Meowth from the Department store," James replied.
Health finished the last bite of his food." What about you, Jess?"
Jessie sighed as she looked out the window."I went home did a bit of thinking. I just returned my uniform to you know where as well, and did shopping for supplies, and packed my bag."
James raised an eyebrow. "Why did you do that going somewhere?"
"I decided to go that I'm going to become a licensed trainer and travel around hoping to figure out what to do with my new life now."
James sighed as he leaned back in his chair."Well, am I impressed," James said."For as long as I have known, you have always been determined to prove how amazing you all are. Go for it. I will be rooting for you and know you will find yourself a new dream and goal."
"Yep, and I know you will as well," Meowth said.
"Thank you two, but what are you going to do now?"
"I think I am going to use some of the remaining money I have same up from work to buy a camera and try to become a Pokemon photographer. He has always been one of my dreams besides becoming a Pokemon master," James answered.
"And i'm going to try and get a job on tv, so I guess Hollywood is where i'm headed," Meowth answered with a smile.
Jessie smiled at her former partners and looked out the window again."I guess we all have bright futures ahead." She then looked at the clock above the front desk and stood on up."I think I will be going now to head to Viridian City and begin making my way to Pallet Town. it was nice seeing you both one more time."
Meowth got up and hugged her. "Us too, Jess." James stood up as well and joined the group hug as well the trio promising to keep in touch somehow.
Jessie walked out of the Pokemon Center and into the the beauty salon. She wnt to the fromt desk and waited to be called back to get her nails done and decide to to make a change. She had her waist length red hair cut down to her back and also had a side bang with her left almost covered by her hair.
Satisfied with her new hair style she paid at ehfromt desk and called a taxi to take her Viradain City as she beagn to travel theought Route 1 to Pallet town.
She gripped her two pokeball containing her Arbok and Lickitung as she looked at the sunset sky as she sighed.
"A new life and a new beginning."
