"Lucky" (Mark's POV)
"Hey Roger?"
I didn't bother turning to face my friend as I spoke, but out of the corner of my eye I saw him turn towards me.
"Yeah?"
We both had our arms folded across the railing of the balcony, and we had been staring up at the stars in silence.
"I wonder…How come the shittiest place in town has the best view of the stars?"
He laughed at my question, then looked back up at the sky, smiled, and shook his head.
"I don't know…Maybe we're just lucky"
I continued to stare upwards, a smile crossing my face. Roger was right…We definitely were lucky.
