Escaping

He watched her silently walk away. He might never see her again. He looked down at the dirt ground, feeling unable to move. He felt like crying but the tears never came. She just walked away… This was going to change his unmeaning life forever. He wished and hoped the goodbye was more then just that. He watched her figure looking down walking. He looked at her gracefully moving away from him. Why? He opened his mouth to tell her to stop. But it made his heart pain even more. He could feel the tears longing to get out. "Wait…" He whispered. She slowly stopped and her head turned slowly. A frown was marked on her face. Her cheeks already stained with tears. He looked up at her, he eyes held crystal tears waiting to fall. She looked into his eyes, sadness over took them. "Bye kiba-kun" She whispered as she averted her gaze. She started walking away again. He ran to her and put a hand on her shoulder, she quickly turned around. She looked into his face one more time. "I'll…I'll miss you" She nodded and gave him a weak smile. Then she followed her instinct and wrapped her arms around him. She couldn't hold it back anymore; she let her tears freely fall. He held her close not wanting to let her go. He felt her wet tears sink though his shirt. His faithful dog sat close by him. He stared off to the distance thinking. She finally lifted her head from his chest and wiped her eyes on her sleeve. "Thanks" She quietly said. He gave her a smile. She turned around and started to walk. She turned the corner and started to run. Run as hard as she could to escape from where her fate was. Run away from being killed for her country. Why did they choose her? She didn't want to go; she wanted to stay with kiba. She wanted to escape all her tragedy and hurting. Then she tripped and looked up she was in front of the hokage building. She wiped her eyes again with her sleeve. She opened the door and met with the hokage. "Are you ready?" She gave a slight nod. He heart ached and her eyes were tried from crying. She was going to escape this world at last. At least she was doing it to help people and she had said her last goodbye to kiba. Hinata looked back on all her wonderful memories where he had helped her though. He made her compete. She whispered her love for kiba as her last words before she shut her eyes one last time.
