Chapter 4 Here He Is

The look that Bowser gave Rosalina was one that could only be described as "thirsty." He looked like he could shower her with kisses, call her beautiful and worship the ground that she walked on. It honestly sent shivers down her spine, knowing that she was being looked at in this way. The only thing that brought her some form of comfort was the fact that the Koopalings looked at him with incredulous and sometimes even disgusted looks on their faces.

"Dad, what's with the smiles?" asked Bowser Jr.

Bowser laughed. "What? Am I not allowed to smile every once in a while?"

"You like like you're stretching your face," said Ludwig. His eyes travelled down to his adopted father's crotch. "And...uh...well…"

Rosalina hadn't noticed it, but she blushed a bright red when she saw the bulging in that area. She covered her face, unsure of what exactly she should be feeling right at that moment. What was the appropriate way to respond to this? Was there even any appropriate way to respond to this?

Wendy, thankfully, looked just as if not more embarrassed as Rosalina. She approached the princess of the cosmos. "It's nice to see you again."

Rosalina actually smiled at that. She remembered the last time she had seen the Koopalings. What had happened was that they had accidentally caused a time rift, and she had helped them to get rid of it. Well, get rid of it wasn't exactly the right term to use but...mitigate! That's what she did; she mitigated it.

"It's nice to see you too."

Wendy smiled at Rosalina's outfit; an aquamarine bikini with sunflowers on it. "That outfit is cute."

"Thanks," Rosalina said, trying to keep her smiling under control.

Roy chuckled. "Man, Rose. If I didn't have a girlfriend; i would be getting rejected by you right at this moment."

Bowser laughed. "Well, I DON'T have a girlfriend." He leaned in close, leaning against her armrest. "Hey, baby. What do you say we have a little kidnapping?" He made his eyebrows go up and down. "Uh? Uh?'

Rosalina, despite her previous embarrassment, actually giggled. "Um...no thank you."

Bowser's face fell. "Ohh."

Suddenly, a gasp rang up from the other side of the beach. Rosalina turned and saw Peach, gawking up a storm. Daisy was right beside her, and she had a face as red as lava. Peach slowly approached, eyeing Bowser cautiously and furiously.

"What are you doing here? This is my beach!"

"Which is all the more reason why I wanted to visit it!" Bowser grinned. "I didn't know you would be here; you can't exactly blame me."

"Uh, actually we can, because this place is reserved," said Daisy as she placed her hands on her hips.

Bowser smirked. "Technicalities. Who cares about them anyway?"

Peach stared. "You seriously had better not be here to kidnap us."

"Hey! Why is he here!" Aqua called out from the water. Rosalina looked and saw the Princess of the Lake Kingdom approaching. Her eyes were glued to the koopa king, locked in a cindery rage. Rosalina's discomfort levels were going off the charts, and the worst part is that the more they rose, the less sure she was that she could keep it under control.

Aqua approached. "This is our terf, reptile butt. You need to make like a tree and leaf."

Lemmy burst into laughter. "Oh, man! That was classic Aqua. A classic pun if I've ever heard one!"

Roy grinned at Aqua. "Hey! You know, if you want, I can arrange for you and Celia to meet sometime! She's been dying to see you again."

Aqua's face actually softened up at that. She stopped, considering the idea. Then, her eyes fell on Bowser, and her face plummeted right back down.

"Ha ha, no. I am not doing anything until this bozo gets off the beach."

"Me neither," said Daisy. "He has no right to lay here, vacation here, barbecue here, sunbathe here…"

"Basically, we need to humbly request that you leave, Bowser," said Peach.

Bowser still remained unfazed. "Oh come on! I went through all of that trouble to prepare for a family vacation, and now you want to ruin it?" He shook his head and pulled Junior up. "This little guy right here hasn't been out of the castle in months! Months, Peach! He needs to have some time out in the sunshine."

Daisy shook her head. "Ironic that you talk about needing sunshine when you leave in Smog Central."

Rosalina put her hand to her head. This was escalating; she could sense it in the Princess' tone. She needed to stop this. She needed to prevent something bad from happening.

"Guys, please." She looked at Peach. You recently established a peace treaty; can't all of us enjoy the beach?"

Peach glared at Bowser, as did her two sisters. Out of all the princesses, Aqua's glare was the strongest. There was so much hatred there, so much raw emotion.

"No," Aqua said.

"Absolutely no," said Daisy.

"I'd rather have Bowser breathe fire on me," said Peach.

Bowser perked up. "Oh! Can i breathe fire on you?'

"No! I was being hyperbolic!" She looked down at Rosalina. "I need these reptiles to leave."

Rosalina looked at the koopa family. She did not hate them. She couldn't. Sure they had done horrible things to her friends, but Bowser was at least trying to turn over a new leaf. SHe turned back toward Peach.

"I don't want them to."

"Rose!" Aqua stamped her foot. "Bowser killed our parents!"

"They were planning an invasion," Rosalina pointed out.

"They scarred Aqua for life! What they did is unforgivable!" Peach said.

Rosalina raised an eyebrow. "Unforgivable?" She stood up. "You, who are always preaching about forgiveness and equality, treating everyone they way you want to be treated, are saying that this crime can't be forgiven? You're a hypocrite."

Peach's eyes field with tears. She didn't cry, but she was on the brink of doing so. "Rose…"

"Would you forgive him, Rose?" asked Daisy with a thunderous glare. "Would you forgive him if he did the same thing to you?"

Silence. Rosalina was at a loss for words. Would she? Would she really forgive him? Could she forgive him? She tried to spesak, but no sound would come out of her mouth.

"That's what I thought," said Daisy. She glared at Bowser. "Get off the beach."

Bowser shook his head. "I am not doing that! I invested too much time into this vacation."

Peach now glared. "Go back to the smelly hole you belong in! You don't deserve a beach!'

"But I want a beach!" Bowser shouted.

"Oh yeah! Well, i want my parents back, you son of a…"

"ALRIGHT!" Rosalina stood up, her heart beat escalating. She sighed. "Look, I don't want to spend time here if all we're goona o is argue. I'm going back to the Observatory. Have a nice day you three."

The girls looked beyond taken aback, beyond disappointed. Before they could protest, however, Rosalina waved her wand and teleported away.
