Welcome back to the next chapter of Dekic X!
Now that Izuku is finally at U.A. he's going to get a taste of what high school life is like when you're trying to become a superhero! How will he handle the first set of trials in his path?

The second day of school at U.A. felt more like a traditional day at a normal school. After the students had gone through their regular high school subjects for the day, it was finally time for the subject that they were all waiting for!
Basic Hero Training!
"I AM HERE! Coming through the door like a normal person!" called out a big muscular man.
This man was known to the world as the Number One Hero, the Symbol of Peace, and his name was All Might!
The fact that the greatest hero of today was currently their teacher was an exciting bit of news for everyone!
"It's All Might, and he's really our teacher! This is going to be an awesome year!"
"I know, right!?"
"Look, he's wearing his Silver Age costume!"
"That's so retro!"
The students of the class were all sharing their excitement about having All Might be their teacher. As this continued, the hero walked up behind the desk at the front of the class. He turned to look at all of his students.
"Welcome, students, to the most important class of U.A. High! Here you will learn what it means to be a hero and to fight for the side of good and justice!" announced All Might.
The Pro Hero then pulled out a card with the word 'Battle' styled in orange.
"Real combat!?" said Katsuki, as a sinister grin appeared on his face.
"Oh yay! Here I come, baby!" exclaimed Izuku as he raised his fist into the air.
"However, one of the important parts of being a hero is... looking good!" said All Might.
The right wall of the room extended panels which showed numbered containers. Inside the containers, we're the students' hero costumes!
"These were designed by your Quirk registration forms and the requests that you all sent in before school started." explained All Might.
This caused the students to get all excited, as they were finally going to get their hero costumes and wear them for their training!
"Get suited up and meet me at Training Ground Beta."
"Yes, sir!" called out the students.
( A Few Minutes Later)
All Might watched as the students came walking out of the entrance tunnel and they each had their hero costumes on. They were all wearing costumes of different shapes and sizes that made them all look unique in their own way.
One costume, in particular, caught the Number One Hero's attention, and that costume belonged to Izuku Midoriya. His costume was a green full-body jumpsuit with a red belt, elbow pads, knee pads, white gloves, and his red boots. He was also wearing a mask that covered his face with long ear-like protrusions that looked like All Might's haircut, as well as a respirator that resembled All Might's smile as well. (A/N: His original costume at this point in time.)
The Number One Hero could easily see the resemblance that Izuku's costume shared with him and it was made clear that the boy was a big fan of his!
'It's so obvious.' thought All Might as he tried to hide his laughter.
"All right, let's get started with today's lesson! You're all going to be taking your combat training inside of one of these buildings!" explained All Might, as he pointed to one of the buildings in the area.
"Inside that buildings?" asked Tsuyu Asui.
"Indeed. You'll be paired up in teams of two and fight in two-on-two battles with one team being the heroes and the other team being the villains! The villain team's goal is to guard a fake bomb against the heroes, or capture them in order to win! The hero team needs to either defeat the villains by capturing them, or by touching the bomb before the timer runs out. Got that so far, kids?" asked All Might.
"Sounds clear to me."
"Simple enough to understand."
"Hear ya' loud and clear All Might!"
"Year, sir, All Might!"
All Might then pulled out a yellow box with the word 'Lots' out of nowhere.
"Time's a-wasting, so let's draw lots to see who gets teamed up with who!" he said.
As everyone started getting teamed up, Izuku ended up with Ochaco as his partner, Katsuki ended up being partnered with Tenya, and the pairs ended up being random until all twenty students were paired up together.
"Well, looks like we're going to be a team, huh?!" said Izuku as he smiled at Ochaco.
"Sure does, Midoriya. Let's both do our best!" replied the brunette girl with a thumbs up.
All Might then placed his hands into two separate boxes. A white box with the word 'hero' on it and a black one with the word 'villain' on the other.
"The first team to go and play the heroes and villains will be these guys!" announced the Number One Hero, as he pulled out a ball with a letter on it from each box.
Team A: Heroes vs Team D: Villains
'Just great! Bakugo will love to use this as an excuse to rush at me!' thought Izuku as he turned to look at the blonde. Katsuki looked at him with a glare and growled slightly.
'I just hope he makes a stupid mistake that'll make victory easier for me and Uraraka.' thought the green-haired speedster.
"Alright then, Team A will be the heroes, while Team D will be the villains! Young Iida and Bakugo, head inside the building and make sure to guard the weapon as best you can! Everyone else, into the monitoring room to watch." instructed All Might.
(With the Villain Team)
The fake bomb was on the top floor of the building, so Katsuki and Tenya went up there. While Tenya was looking at the bomb, Katsuki was with his back turned to the entrance of the room.
"So this is the fake bomb we'll be guarding, huh!?" said Tenya as he looked at the fake bomb, which was very well crafted.
"Of course, while we're supposed to guard the bomb, I'm far more eager to fight Midoriya and test my abilities against an opponent with a speed Quirk like myself-"
"Keep dreaming, four-eyes!"
"Huh?" said a confused Tenya as he turned to look at Katsuki.
"I'm the only one who's allowed to fight that nerd, so when this thing starts you just guard that thing and nothing else! I'm going to crush him and prove that I'm the only one that's going to be Number One around here!" the blonde declared.
Katsuki's desire to defeat Izuku was clearly clouding his judgment. He once thought of himself as the best and the only one from within his school worthy of being the best hero there could possibly be, while Izuku was born Quirkless, but at the age of five suddenly gained a super speed Quirk that made him faster and stronger than him! Everyone started to praise Izuku and said that he was going to be a great hero, better than Katsuki even, and that's what pissed the blonde off so much about the green-haired boy.
He was going to win this exercise and proved to everyone watching that he's the best there is at being a hero!
(With the Hero Team)
Both Izuku and Ochaco were studying papers that had the layout of the building and trying to come up with a strategy that'll help them win the exercise as quickly as possible. The green-haired speedster had already come up with a plan and hoped that his predictions would prove to be true, as most of his plan relayed on them!
"I have a plan that could work! You up for trying it out?" he asked.
"You bet, Midoriya!" said Ochaco with a smile.
(A Few Minutes Later)
[Alright, let's begin the training exercise! Teams A and D, you may start now!] said All Might through the loudspeaker.
Izuku started off by lightly jumping up and down to warm up his legs for his next action. Once his warm-up was done, he crouched down and bent over.
"Hop on." he said to Ochaco.
The girl climbed onto Izuku's back and wrapped her arms around his neck to secure herself from falling off him. The speedster hooked his arms underneath her thighs to carry her up a bit more and prevent her from falling during his next move.
"You ready for this?" asked Izuku.
"As ready as I'll ever be!" answered Ochaco.
Izuku then crouched down like before and started to put as much strength into his legs as he needed. Once he was sure that he was ready he started to countdown...
"Three, Two, One!"
Using just enough power, Izuku leaped into the air while carrying Ochaco with him. The two flew through the air for a while until gravity started to pull them back down towards the roof of the building. This was where the second phase of Izuku's plan came in!
"Uraruka, use your Quirk to gently float us down to the roof!" commanded Izuku.
"Right!" responded his passenger.
Ochaco placed her hand on Izuku's back and on herself and used her Quirk to control their gravity and make them weightless. The two heroes-in-training slowly descended down from the air and gently landed on the roof of the building.
"Release." said the girl as he stopped using her Quirk and the two felt their weight return to them.
"Good work. Since we landed softly they most likely won't know we came from the top exit." said the speedster.
The two teens walked towards the door on the roof that lead them into the building and slowly sneaked inside to see where the fake bomb was being kept. Izuku used enough speed to zip around from room to room while making as little noise as possible until he found the fake bomb and Tenya being the only person in the room guarding it.
'Perfect! It's just like I thought, Bakugo left to pick a fight with me thinking that I came in through the front door. This should work if I play my cards right!' thought Izuku as he quietly ran back to Ochaco to fill her in on the situation and started explaining the rest of his plan.
(With Tenya)
Tenya was keeping a close eye on the fake weapon as he was the only one who was doing so as Katsuki left to look for Izuku to pick a fight with him, completely forgetting that the main objective was to guard the fake bomb and only fight when the heroes showed up. That just meant that he himself had to shoulder the burden of carrying his team to victory and guard the weapon on his own.
"Since I'm playing the part of a villain, I should probably try to act like one to motivate myself more into winning this exercise!" said Tenya.
"Those foolish heroes will not stand a chance against me! For I have shouldered the responsibility of victory on my actions that will determine the outcome of this fight, unlike my foolish teammate that abandoned the job for his own personal vendetta. I will grant us victory for I am... EEEEVILLLLL!" called out Tenya. His acting skills were quite convincing.
"*PFFT*" Both Izuku and Ochaco tried very hard to suppress their laughter at how funny Tenya's acting was, but they were unsuccessful and most likely blew their cover from their hiding spot from behind a pillar.
Izuku then signaled for Ochaco to get ready and to reveal herself from hiding as it was now time to set his plan into motion!
Ochaco got up from the floor and slowly stuck her head out from the pillar to see Tenya and the two sets of eyes soon met.
"AHAHA! I see that you've arrived, Uraruka! However, if you think that I'm unprepared for your sudden arrival then you are mistaken! I have taken the-"
*ZOOM*
"WAH!?"
Izuku appeared out of Tenya's line of sight and wrapped his arms and legs around his body to restrain his movement. The two speedsters fell to the ground as they struggled to hold on/break free!
"Uraruka, now!"
Ochaco rushed towards the fake bomb and simply placed her hand on it without any trouble.
"NOOOO! THE WEAPON!" called out Tenya in his villain voice.
"[HERO TEAM WINS!]" called out All Might through the speakers.
(With Katsuki)
"WHAT!?"
The blonde was in disbelief at what he just heard. The exercise was over and his team lose!? How was that possible! Deku and that gravity girl didn't pass him, he didn't even hear the nerd run at high speeds to past him. So how did he make it past him in order to get to the weapon!?
The blonde rushed back the way he came and entered the room where he saw the other three students and the fake bomb. His eyes went towards Izuku in angry and confused.
"Hey, Bakugo, how come you left Iida alone to guard the bomb when you should have worked together to take on both me and Uraruka?" asked Izuku. While he clearly knows the answer to his own question, he just wanted to make the blonde look like more of a fool for placing a personal vendetta above the exercise.
"How the hell did you get up here without making that speed noise!?" asked the blonde.
"I'm not gonna share my secret with you just so you can get a heads up on me next time. Besides, it's your own fault for trying to do this exercise on your own instead of working with Iida like you were supposed to." said Izuku.
Katsuki was visibly angered with how Izuku was criticizing him and was about to lash out a the green-haired boy but was stopped when All Might spoke through the speakers to all four of them.
"[All students please return to the monitor room so that we can continue onto the next teams.]" said the Number One Hero.
"What are we standing around here for? Let's split!"
*ZOOM*
Izuku ran out of the room and left the three of them behind.
"Wait for us, Midoriya!" called out Ochaco as she started to run out of the room to catch up to him.
"Why must you always leave us behind?!" shouted Tenya as he followed the brown-haired girl out the room.
Katsuki was the only one left and he was just staring at the ground. He was too disappointed that he didn't get to fight Izuku and lost the exercise due to not being a team player, but he was just too stubborn to let his vendetta against Izuku go!
"[Young Bakugo, please return to the monitor room. It's time for other teams to have their turn!]" said All Might.
Katsuki just grinned his teeth in frustration and turned to walk out of the room.
(In the Monitor Room)
"Alright students, listen up, I want you all to remember that whether you win or lose in this training, use it as a learning experience to improve for the future and learn from whatever mistakes you make here today! This match's MVP was Young Midoriya, can anyone explain to me why that is?" asked All Might.
"It's simple, he's the one the did most of the work on his team, right?" asked Tsuyu Asui.
"It's not that simple, Asui. May I please explain, All Might, sir?" asked Momo Yaoyorozu.
"Go right ahead and tell us what you think." granted All Might.
"It's true that Midoriya was the main player in his team's victory, but it wasn't just his performance that earned him the title of MVP, it was his intentions before his ever action as well. He used his Quirk in a unique way to get both himself and his partner to where they needed to be and used a different method of entering the building instead of the most obvious one. After that, both he and Uraraka did their best to stick together and remain hidden from their opponent, despite the fact they were unsuccessful with that last part. Finally, Midoriya played his part in holding Iida down, while Uraraka went for the bomb and finished the exercise. He allowed his teammate to do her part for the team, instead of doing all the work himself, even though he could have easily done this whole thing on his own." explained Momo.
Most of the class stood silent for a moment as Momo had made a lot of good points about Izuku's performance during the exercise. Not to mention that most of what she said of the intentions behind his actions was pretty spot-on.
"Um... Yes, good job in explaining Young Midoriya's performance. What about the other participants?" asked the Symbol of Peace.
"Iida did his best to adapt to the situation and never lost sight of his objective to guard the fake weapon against his opponents. For Uraraka, she played her part by gently floating her and Midoriya down to the roof to prevent their landing from being heard and giving away their secret entrance plan. She also won her team the exercise when she touched the bomb. Finally, Bakugo made a foolish decision on going off on his own to pick a fight, when he should have stayed with his partner and guarded the bomb together as a team. He wasn't a team player and because of that his team lose." Explained Momo once more.
"Well... That explanation was pretty spot on if you ask me. Alright, let's move on to the next set of teams! Remember to use what you saw in the first exercise and try to apply it to your own training in your own unique way." announced All Might.
"Yes, sir!" replied the rest of the class.
(Two Hours Later)
"Excellent work today, everybody! Thankfully there were no serious injuries for anyone today, so that's a major plus if you ask me! Considering that this was your first training exercise, I think that we all did a fantastic job today!" said the Number One Hero.
"Thanks, All Might! Today was awesome thanks to you!" replied Izuku as he gave the blonde hero a thumbs up.
"Alright, change out of your costumes and return to your classroom!" said All Might as he rushed away and left the students.
"Last one back to the classroom is a rotten egg!" said Izuku.
*ZOOM*
And... He was gone!
"Hey, that's not fair! You know we can't run as fast you!" called out Denki Kaminari.
"Midoriya, please don't rush and leave us behind, it's very improper for a hero-in-training to act this way!" called out Tenya.
"Wait up, Midoriya!" called out Ochaco.
The students all started to walk back to the changerooms, however, Katsuki was still upset after his defeat earlier and was walking much slower with his head looking down at the floor with a depressed expression on his face.
(End of the Day)
"The way you decided to enter the building through the roof door was amazing, Midoriya!" complemented Eijiro Kirishima.
"The way that you and Uraraka floated down to the roof before landing was very clever." said Mashirao Ojiro.
"I thought that your Quirk only made you run fast?" asked Mina Ashido.
"My power makes my body as a whole faster when I want it to be, but I need to have strong muscles in order for my body to withstand the power my speed gives me. I worked on building my muscles and that allowed my speed to increase to the point where I have enhanced strength as well." explained the green-haired speedster.
"Wow! That's so cool, Midoriya!" smiled Uraraka at her training partner.
Izuku smiled at how everyone in the class was resting and enjoying the last few minutes of the day before it was time to go home.
He was enjoying the attention he was getting from his new classmates and was a bit surprised that they were all talking about his match to be the one that stood out, as he thought they would all be more interested in Shoto Todoroki. He managed to win his match in under a minute by using his Quirk to freeze the entire building and immobilize his opponents, not giving them a chance to fight back at all! He guesses that the bi-coloured boy kind of intimidated everyone with his display of raw power and everyone was approaching him instead of Todoroki, due to how he managed to end his own match so quickly and cleverly as well.
Although Izuku was happy that everything turned out alright for the day, there was one person that wasn't in a very good mood with how things turned out for him. Izuku looked at the empty desk in front of him and saw that Katsuki wasn't there. He decided to go home early since he was still depressed over his loss. He knew that the blonde would take his loss hard, but this was starting to get a bit frustrating for the green-haired boy, and he didn't understand why!?
Katsuki always thought of himself and only cared about proving the everyone that he was the strongest and most fit to become the Number One Hero in the future, he had no problem in putting others down and even attacking them whenever someone ruined his mood. He was a bully and always threw a temper tantrum when he didn't get what he wanted and acted like a spoiled brat, in fact, that was exactly what he was. He made fun of Izuku back when they both were four years old for not having a Quirk, and when the green-haired boy's Sonic Speed developed when he was five, the blonde grew jealous and just wanted to make himself look better by trying to fight Izuku and beat him! That proved to not be as easy as he first thought and he's been compared as 'second best' to Izuku afterward.
'He probably thought that since this was a new school and a fresh start, he could get a chance to fight me and finally get back the feeling of being the strongest if he beat me! Not only did he not get a chance to fight me and lose the match, but seeing Todoroki show how powerful he was also made him realize that I wasn't the only one that was stronger than him!' thought Izuku.
He feel like the blonde deserved to feel depressed like how he was feeling right now since his ego made him put himself into such a high position that he thought he could never fail or lose, but he still couldn't see reality and had to have it show him the hard way that he wasn't invincible. Yet at the same time, he felt bad that Katsuki was in such a depressed state. He guessed that since they were both in a new school and were having a fresh start that the two of them should try and get along, he was fine with it, but he doubted that Katsuki would feel the same and would still let his jealousy of him prevent him from trying to be friendly.
The speedster got up from his desk and left the classroom to go and catch up to Katsuki.
"Hey, Midoriya, where are you going?" asked Eijiro.
"I have to go and talk to Bakugo." replied Izuku.
Everyone was surprised that he was going to talk to the blonde. After what happened during the training exercise, the green-haired speedster would be the last person that Katsuki would want to see, but Izuku wanted to a least try and see if Katsuki could somehow be reasoned with, no matter how he felt about the blonde and his shattered ego.
*ZOOM*
Izuku had stopped outside of the front staircase of the school to see that Katsuki's back was turned to face the entrance of the school from the inside. The blonde was still, as he must have heard Izuku running behind him, as he knew about the noise that the speedster makes whenever he runs fast.
"What do you want, Deku? If you're here to gloat about beating me, I'm not in the mood to hear it!" said Katsuki.
"I'm not going to gloat, Bakugo. Geez, why do you always think I'm going to rub something in your face? I'm not you, ya' know." replied Izuku.
The blonde clenched his fist when the speedster mentioned his love of gloating to those weaker than him. He never liked the feeling of being weaker than anyone, so when he was in the opposite position of what he was used to he never wanted to hear someone else rub a victory over him in his face, despite the fact that he had no problem doing the same thing when he was the victor
"Look, it's okay to feel upset about losing, but you can't let a single loss keep you from moving forward and enjoying the rest of the day. Everyone losses from time to time. For example, I lose against my sister in Bingo more times than I care to admit, but I can't-"
"Shut it already..."
"What was that?"
"I said 'Shut it already', ya' nerd! I don't need your petty, YA' HEAR ME!" shouted Katsuki as he turned around to look at Izuku.
"What is your problem!? I'm trying to be a good sport and help you feel better, even though I really don't want to after everything you've put me through from when we were four!" yelled back Izuku in frustration.
"Then don't help, 'cause I never asked you to!" spat Katsuki.
"What is it about losing and getting help from others that makes you get so angry?" asked the speedster.
"I'M FRUSTRATED, ALRIGHT."
"About what?"
"Ever since you've got your speed Quirk after four, I've always been second best to you and I hated it!"
"Tell me something I don't know."
"You got past me and didn't even need to fight me to beat me in the exercise. I didn't even think about the fact that you could have jumped up onto the roof to get into the building. When did your legs get that strong?" asked the blonde.
"I trained them to make them stronger. Just because I have a powerful Quirk doesn't mean I'm the strongest one there is! I know that there have to be other people out there that could beat me if I don't try and get stronger. Being born with a powerful Quirk doesn't make you better than other people, and it certainly doesn't make you invincible, that's something you failed to understand all these years!" explained Izuku.
Katsuki stood silent and still for a moment as he processed Izuku's words, trying to understand them somehow. Even though it shouldn't be that difficult, someone with as much pride and ego as Katsuki couldn't make sense of it!
"That's not the only thing that's bothering you, is it?" asked the green-haired boy.
"Even after you beat me in the exercise, the next one showed how that Icy-Hot guy froze the whole building and won in just under a minute! If I were to fight that guy I-I-I..." The blonde couldn't continue his sentence as he start to shed tears.
Izuku was caught off guard by this! For as long as he knew Katsuki, he never saw him cry over anything! He knows that all people cry and that it was a way to show that you are upset, but to see Katsuki Bakugo of all people cry was definitely not something he was expecting to see in his life ever!
"I'm might as well be the third strongest in our class now. I haven't gotten any closer to being Number One!" muttered the blonde in depression.
"Look, Bakugo, being a hero isn't about being the strongest, or the fastest-"
"SHUT UP ALREADY, YA' DAMN NERD!"
"WHAT WAS THAT YOU SELFISH PRICK!?"
"You can enjoy that win of yours today, but I promise you that I'm just getting started! I'm going to train so hard that you'll look like an old man that's almost dead compared to me! I'll get stronger and then surpass you and anyone else who dares think they can be better than me! You'll never beat me again, so don't bother trying!" declared Katsuki as he turned around and started to walk away.
Izuku, however, wasn't going to let him have the last word!
"Before you even think about becoming a hero, you should think about making up for your past sins! You never acted like a hero when you bullied me and beat me up when I was four for being Quirkless, you never acted like a hero when you threaten people, and you never acted like a hero when you looked down on others for being weaker than you! A true hero never does any of those things, so unless you apologize to all the people you've hurt in your life, don't bother trying to become the Number One Hero, 'cause with the way you are now no one's going to want you as their Symbol of Peace! The next time you're down in the dumps, you're on your own! Don't expect me to help you ever again!"
"WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME, YA' NERD!?"
"YOU HEARD ME, YOU DYNAMITE DOOFUS!"
The two boys glared at each other with anger and hatred for how they felt about each other and the past they both shared. Izuku hated everything Katsuki did to him in the past: bullying him for being Quirkless at four, (A/N: He technically still is, as it was the Chaos Emerald that gave him his Sonic Speed.) trying to prove he was superior to him all because he was jealous, and despite the fact that he tried to be nice with him whenever he could, his kindness was always spat back in his face by the blonde. Katsuki on the other hand hated Izuku for just simply being stronger than him and getting a Quirk that was better than his when he used to be Quirkless, he hated how all the praise and admiration went from him to Izuku after he got his speed Quirk, he hated how everyone always compared the two of them and he was always the second-best, and he hated when Izuku tried to be nice to him, as in his eyes he saw it as pity for being weaker than him.
The two boys clearly had issues with each other and it was going to have to take something pretty big and desperate in order to get them to look past their differences and get along when the time came for them to work together.
Izuku took a deep breath and started to calm himself down a bit in order to not make an even bigger scene than the one the two of them were already making.
"Forget it, your not worth it, Bakugo! Coming to talk to you was a waste of time. All I can say is this: You're going to be eating my dust for a long time!" said Izuku as he turned around and walked back into the school.
Katsuik's fist trembled in rage at Izuku's words, as to him it was like the declaration of war! A challenge to see who could be the next Number One Hero, and it was one that the blonde vowed not to lose no matter what!
'You'll regret this, Deku! I swear it!' thought the blonde teen as he turned around and started to leave the school.
'I should have stayed in the classroom!' thought Izuku. He was slowly stomping up the stair due to his sour mood.
Unknown to the two of them, their conversations had a few spectators watching for the higher levels of the school as they looked at them through the windows. Ochaco Uraraka, Tsuyu Asui, Mina Ashido, and Miles "Tails" Prower, all watched as the two teens went their separate ways from each other. The four of them had been listening in for most of the conversation and while they weren't able to hear all of it, they did manage to catch some sentences when Izuku and Katsuki yelled at each other.
"Wow, those two really don't like each other at all!" said Mina.
"Can't really blame Midoriya for being mad at Bakugo, since he was the one who started it!" added Tsuyu.
"I think we just witness the start of a rivalry between them! A battle between men!" exclaimed Ochaco.
Tails was the only one that remained silent from what he had just witnessed. He was coming to Class 1-A to wait for Izuku to walk home, but he then saw Ochaco and the girls looking through the window to see Izuku confronting the blonde kid from his class. He joined them and tried to hear what the two were talking about, but with them being so high up and separated by the glass, they could only hear them when the two teens were shouting at each other. From what little they managed to hear they learned that Izuku used to be Quirkless at age four and was bullied by Katsuki for it, until a year later, when he got his Sonic Speed. Tails knew that it was Izuku's Chaos Emerald that gave him his power, but kept quiet as he promised to keep it a secret and he didn't know who else the speedster told that he trusted. Tails could see that Izuku had confronted his former bully and despite his efforts to not hold a grudge, the blonde's shattered pride kept the two of them from being civil with each other.
Tails always thought that Izuku was super cool and was surprised that someone as awesome as him could ever be a victim of bullying. When Izuku told him that he was bullied in the past he wasn't too sure to believe him, but since he helped him when he was being picked on when they first met and that he said that he wanted to be a hero that helps others in any situation, not to mention the fact that he just witnessed him confront and stand up to his former bully. It was safe to say that Tails' admiration for him had increased and he was lucky to have a friend that knew when to face injustice head-on!
One thing was for sure, this year at U.A. was going to prove to be an exciting one with these kinds of students working to be heroes. However, their next challenge was going to come much sooner than they could have imagined!

I hope that this chapter was to your liking. I'm sorry that It took more than a year to get the next chapter out, but with new stories that can out within the next year and such, it's been hard to find time to add to this one. Don't worry I have plenty of plans to make things interesting in the future!
I'm sure that some of you are disappointed that there wasn't an Izuku vs. Katsuki battle in this chapter, but the problem is that this Izuku is so powerful that the fight would have been one-sided and not very entertaining to read. In this story, Izuku has been training to get faster and stronger since he was five, while Katsuki had just been getting angry at how Izuku kept on getting ahead of him and didn't do anything about it. Even if Katsuki starts training now he took too long to get started and the gap between him and Izuku is now so large that he's going to be playing catch-up to Izuku for a LONG TIME! With what Ochaco said about there being a rivalry between them... HAHAHA, with certain characters making their debut in future chapters, Katsuki's role in this story as Izuku's rival will definitely be put into question!

Another thing that I have to say is that I've recently added a new section to my profile called 'Fanfiction Ideas', that's where I came up with cool ideas for new stories but decided not to write them as I don't want to write down every story I came up with that would give me too many stories to keep track of. Instead, I wish to wait and see if someone were to send me a message and explain to me that they've taken an interest in the story idea I came up with and want to write it themselves.
