Alastor was aware of her sharing that letter with Angel Dust. It didn't make him happy, but his shadow said she was happy with it. He'll talk to her about it later, but for now, he will try to earn her friendship back. For now though. For now. Or so he told himself.

Upon seeing her the next morning, he felt his heart flutter. The feeling made him uneasy. And slightly sick. Yet something also made him feel light and, dare he say, happy? He would do more research later. She helped him cook but said so little. The air around them was awkward but at ease. "I got your letter. Thank you. I could feel your sincerity through it." She held her hands close to her heart. "I forgive you, but we have a lot to work on." She gave him the brightest smile she could muster.

Thuh thump. Thuh thump.

What was this strange feeling and noise coming from his chest? Was his heart beating or mimicking it? He seemed so confused. His heart caught in his again, this woman took his words away.

She turned back to her work and continued making breakfast. He turned and completed his task. A weak "thank you" passed his lips. Since when couldn't he speak strongly when he spoke?

"So for licking me the other day, you deserve negative reinforcement despite my forgiving you." He turned to her. His face had a confused expression. She walked up to him and gave his face a light flick. "Bad, gator." She stuck out her tongue at him and walked out the door.

All he could think was how cute she was. Cuter than any baby alligator he had ever seen. He felt his face flush for once and covered his face with his hands in embarrassment. Just what was happening to him?

After breakfast, he learned that she and Angel had a shopping trip planned. To say he was jealous (or so he had learned) was an understatement. She had just started talking to him again and now she was being whisked away by a perverted spider. This adorable goddess stolen from him by a porn star.

Goddess? Did he find her to be a goddess? Did he really want all her attention?

Yes. Yes. He did. He liked this odd adorable goddess. Or rather priestess.
