"Fluffy, hurry up! You promised!" Selena gave an adorable pout at her friend. She was in a ridiculously good mood. And was acting cute because of it. It wasn't intentional; it was just something she always did.
"Well ain't ya needy and adorable today?" Angel came from behind the door.
"Am I?" She grabbed him. "C'mon. You promised to take me to a cute boutique with great dresses!"
"Yes, you are way too cute right now." He pulled away. "Lemme finish my makeup!"
"Fine, Fluffy!" She gave a silly over exaggerated sigh.
Soon Angel was out and ready to be seen. They went straight to the shop she had mentioned earlier. "Thanks, Fluffy!" She looked around with a childish glee.
"No prob, Foxy!" They giggled and compared before she decided to buy a red dress with a sweetheart neckline and a low back. As they walked out, "Hey, Foxy, wanna stop at a cafè? I heard there's one nearby with tea and coffee."
"Ooo. Tea! Sure! Let's go!" They walked a couple of blocks and went in. After placing their order they sat outside.
"So, Foxy, can I ask ya somethin'?" Angel seemed a bit nervous and had a slight pinkish tint under his white fur.
"What is it, Fluff?" She hummed excitedly while waiting on her tea and snack.
"Why hadn't you heard of me before? Most people know who I am. But you hadn't a clue. We've known each other for some time now, and I have just been wonderin'." He seemed somewhat embarrassed.
"Oh that." Selena gave a light chuckle. "To be honest, between Lucifer's orders or sometimes lack thereof, Neana's need of prayer to survive, and Charlie, I don't really pay attention to the sex industry anymore. I just've been too busy."
He seemed okay with her answer. "That makes sense. You seem to be constantly b—-" he stopped mid sentence and stared wide eyed. "Tawney? Is that you?" A yellowish anamorphic fox came up from behind Selena. When they came into view fresh scratches and scars could be seen down their back. They were missing clumps of fur.
"Hey, Angie. It's been a while. Where'd you get off to?" Tawney appeared to be female, but she would wait until they identified themselves.
"I've been hanging with some friends, Tawney. This is Selena. Selena, this is Tawney Dee Foxx. She's a coworker at V Porn Studios."
"Nice to meet you!" Selena gave a pleasing smile, but she could tell something was bothering Angel. They chatted for a moment, but upon the interruption of receiving their order Tawney had gone back to the studio. They ate in silence. "You seem worried, Angel. What's on your mind?"
"I don't want him to know where I am." He seemed terrified.
They walked back to the hotel after the meeting. Angel seemed to look over his shoulder every few seconds. Selena stayed on guard in an attempt to protect her friend. Once they reached the hotel, Selena tried to convince Angel to have a good night at the bar.
Until the night came, Selena tried to keep Angel Dust distracted, she seemed to fail in her task. By the time the show was ready to start, Angel hid in his room.
Tonight's theme was metal music. She dressed in leather pants and a corset. She wore her hair up and glamoured piercings to adorn her ears and lips. She had her song list ready and a deejay on standby for after her session.
Once she appeared from behind the curtain, the crowd went wild. She saw Alastor sitting with the others but looking displeased with the night's music selection.

Selena knew this was a soft start to metal night, but what better to start off the night in hell without singing of belonging here?
Her next song was for the people out there that liked a touch of difference. Selena summoned her foxfire to take demon forms. She gave them instruments and voices.

By the end of the song, everyone was dancing to the beat and pumped for the rest of her routine. A few demons felt so empowered by the song, they started fights and got kicked out by Ryan and Alastor. All in all. A good second song.
Selena kept to her song piece and finished a few hours before closing. Now a phantom deejay was playing more songs that were aligned with the hard rock/ metal genre. Once she joined the hotel staff in their corner booth, she giggled. "I didn't mean to start a fight, guys. I just find it very empowering."
Everyone laughed a bit. "Well. my dear, I'm afraid this music isn't my thing. I'm going to turn in for the night." Alastor got up and began to walk away. She wasn't surprised. Some nights, he would leave just because he couldn't vibe with the music. He'd always stay for her performance though. Selena joined Husk at the bar and decided to help Ryan with the abundance of drink orders.
She led the drinks to their owners. When she arrived, she was met with the face of three, albeit disguised, Overlords! If she remembered properly, they were known as V. Velvet. Valentino. Vox. What the hell were they doing here? "Hey there, hot stuff." The tall moth-like demon said in a gravelly voice. "Your body is rockin'. Wanna join my movie studio?"
"Idiot! That is the girl who gave Ozzie his own ass!" Selena recognized the tv head. She knew Vox from his image on the television. So the man he scolded must be Valentino.
"Oh then, where's Angel Dust?" He sneered at her. Valentino's flirty attitude did a 180.
"Here at the hotel. He is a client after all. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a coworker to help. But let me warn you: touch Angel. And I'll maim you if not kill you. Now excuse me gentlemen and gentlewoman." She bowed and walked away. She got to the bar and told Husk what had just happened.
"How did we miss them?" He was clenching his fist. He seemed to know more than he cared to let on.
"Doesn't matter. They're here. We need to stop them. Before they hurt Angel. I'm gonna inform Charlie." She did. But before they could be stopped. All three disappeared before the night closed. She looked for Ryan but couldn't find him anywhere.
The next day Ryan had not returned. So Selena and Angel went looking for their new companion near the hotel. Alastor used his shadows to look further after Selena begged him. Husk and Niffty stayed at the hotel. And Charlie and Vaggie went to find the commander of the guards to look for their new occupant. They had agreed to meet at the hotel or use their phones to communicate with each other if they found him.
Selena and Angel were walking past the tea shop when a van came from nowhere. Selena had been standing six or so feet away from him when she saw him get grabbed. As quickly as she could, she placed a talisman on herself and switched with Angel Dust using a totem method. She was locked away in the van as they drove off. She left Angel in the street. She chose to bide her time and wait. Wait for the right moment to strike.
