Selena quickly rubbed the saliva off her cheek. "And I thought I was weird." She turned to Charlie. Let's go through everyone and figure out their sins. And find out the best plan to redeem them!" Selena was super excited so much that it plastered a tiny smile on Alastor's face.
"I'll leave you ladies to it. If Selena wouldn't mind having a conversation with me first." He gave a rakish wink.
"No problem." She followed Alastor out and into the kitchen. Once he finished walking, he turned to her. "What's up, Al?"
"I wanted to ask you on a date tonight. After we make dinner for the hotel and make breakfast plans, I was wondering if you'd be interested in dinner and pos–" Selena started giggling.
"Are you nervous?" She gave him a big grin. He gave a shrug and tried to act nonchalant. "I would love to, Alastor, but it may have to be later as I'd like to change and look nice."
"Of course, dear! I'd love to see you all dolled up!" Alastor started to get excited and anxious at the same time.
"Well I'll see you when we make dinner! If we finish a set number of people early, I will doll up then!" She began walking out of the kitchen.
"Oh, Selena. Thank you." She looked back with the largest grin. She seemed genuinely excited, but he didn't want to get too excited for it was only mid afternoon.
Selena and Charlie managed to see ten people and get a redemption plan for each individual started. Right as Selena was going to join Alastor in the kitchen, Ryan showed up. "I never got to thank you for saving me the other day." Ryan seemed anxious. "Charlie, Selena, is there any way I can be redeemed? I know that's not what Alastor had in mind, but I don't want to be used like that again. And Angel's demeanor seems to show that shit like this happens frequently and I don't want that. I'm tired of this place." Ryan seemed genuinely tired. He had been in hell just a short while and here he was. Not cut out for it.
"Selena, you go help Al. I'll take care of this." Charlie ushered Selena along and brought Ryan into the office.
Selena ran to help with tonight's vast dinner preparations.
Charlie and Ryan sat down. " You made a deal with Al. Are you sure you wanna back out and be redeemed? He promised you connections so that you can grow here."
"Yeah. I know, but Vox and Valentino did terrible things to me and then would have me heal quickly. I was tortured, raped, everything under this crimson sun in just a few hours. I was beaten repeatedly. Please, Charlie, don't make me stay here and see them again!" He started crying. "Please!"
"Okay. It's alright! You're safe here, and I'll help you. I promise." Charlie's promise hung in the air as she began to make a new patient profile. "Tell me what you did to land here?" Over the course of two hours, they laughed, cried and planned their way to find a way to redeem their newest companion.
