The rain fell softly outside in the dark of the night. Nothing could be seen outside the steam covered window that looked into a room of a house that stood bluntly in the middle of a lake. This lake was in ruins. It was only about half way full with a ton of algae and dead fish floating on top of this salt dense lake. A road could be seen connecting the main land to the piece of land that had a termite infested, window broken, and moldy house that stood in the middle of the piece of land. A garden could be seen in the front yard but sadly it was only the remains of a garden that once was. It now was filled with big puddles, which were made by the rain that was now falling harder, creepy crawlers, weed, and maybe one or two old rotten cabbages sitting at the edge of the while being chewed on by some caterpillars and some what feather less black birds.
There was also a tree that erected its self just barely on the other side of the yard with no leaves and a rotting old stump, this tree was only hanging on by a thread of the beautiful life that is once had. The grass around the yard was not as fortunate. It was dead and all dried up and there was not a single patch of green land any were. The grass was as brown as ones lawn might turn in the summer but the lawn was brown all year long.
As said the house is not pleasant. Just like the yard it was old and rotting out in every inch of every room. It was molding, termite chewed, and window broken. There was no life to this house at all. The mold and even the termites had died do to the harsh conditions that now plague the house.
Even though these harsh conditions plagued the house, yard, lake, and everything surrounding it, it was not always this way. The tree, that now only looks like some one shot the life out of it, had held beautiful blossoms that when they bloomed they filled the whole area around the lake with the beautiful scent of its sweat aroma. The garden had held delicious corn, onions, and beautiful cabbages, yes the ones that are old and rotten where once delicious and salad ready cabbages. The garden always gave life in everything that was planted in it. The grass was nicely trimmed and was at a perfect length and it radiated with an emerald beauty.
A family once in habited this house. There were of course the loving parents, beautiful house and of course there were three well mannered children. But there was one of course who disobeyed anything his parents say which he is one of the main characters of this story and the main cause of what is to happen to the beautiful land in which his family lives on and the almost cause of the destruction of the planet earth.
This story is in the works I'm trying to figure out what kind of fanfic it's supposed to be.
