Crazy trouble with love part 9

Gaia and Philip

Series: Kamen Rider W

-Earth, the center of the planet-

Within the deep core of the planet, a massive chunk of green crystals seemed to drift across the magma currents without deteriorating from the intense heat.

This was the Gaia Memory, or for more normal people, the Gaia Library, the core of the earth's memories, all of them, past, present and possible futures.

From the memory of the first cellular life form to the potential memory of humagears, all things are remembered here, the good, the bad, and the very ugly parts of existence yet this place holds all, gives all, and takes all from those with evil hearts.

Normally this particular collection of crystals would be located closer to the surface, but this was false as that is only a small chunk compared to this simple rock the size of a small planet, for this is the backup for the one closest to the surface. If it was destroyed, then it could retain all the memories up to that point before finding another spot on the surface to store the next 'fountain' for future generations.

But for now, it was safe, tucked away safely in the planet's core, and...kinda bored.

Yes, giant green crystals CAN feel bored. Given the universe, is that any surprise? Especially when you have different timelines full of gods, monsters, evil civilizations, insane robotic AI and timeline driving trains? Yeah, a set of crystals holding all of the planet's memories with conscious thought ISN'T the strangest thing around.

But anyway, the Gaia Memory was bored out of its mind and well...being bored isn't a good thing for the creative mind.

As it swam across the sea of magma like a lava proof ship, it quickly gained an idea, why not use the crystals near Futo to just 'see the town'? Now this would be kinda stupid, a giant crystal going on the town is too weird one would say, but ha! Where there's a way, there is an answer or something like that.

The crystal glowed bright green before it shot out a beam of light that went flying past the mantle of the earth.

-Japan, Futo, Gaia Library/Museum-

And exited the massive fountain under the Museum itself, filling it with a brilliant glow of green light as it slowly began to scan the area for a template for it's new body.

But unfortunately, no one was down there at the time, thus...it had to improvise by making a body from scratch. It started to draw upon its massive source of knowledge to try and pick out traits that would be best suited to not stand out.

From the past, present and future accounts of the human standards of beauty, it slowly began to condense into a new form.

That form was a tall young woman with fair skin, deep green eyes, long green hair that went to her hips and was tied in the back by golden headbands that looked similar to crystals, a G cup chest and wide ass, wearing a long green t-shirt with a black 'G' over the chest area, black pants with a tear over the right knee, long white opera gloves, a golden watch on her right wrist, a pair of thin frame glasses, black fishnet stockings, green high heels, and had a thick green Memory Driver with a single slot near the center that was covered in green crystals in the shape of a 'G'.

She blinked once, twice, three times while looking at herself, coughing a little as she tried to make some sounds. "Ah...ah...cough. Ah. How do humans even speak like...this. Cough! Ah! Much better." she looked at her surroundings and sighed. "It's been far too long since I came to the surface and NOW someone makes my home into a warehouse? How rude!"

She stretched out her arms, rubbing the skin and looking over herself. "May have gone a bit overboard, but it's a physical form nonetheless."

As she looked at the area more carefully, she noticed that a guard was sleeping near the doorway on the other side and decided to sneak out.

"Mmmm." She pulled on one of her hair strands and ranked it out before it turned into a deep navy blue Gaia Memory with the letter 'I' on it.

Click.

[Invisible.]

And like that, she inserted the Gaia Memory into the slot and pressed down on the crystals, causing her body to glow blue as the skin and clothes began to vanish.

[Invisible!]

She looked around as her body vanished from the light spectrum's gaze, the only thing indicating her presence was the heavy breathing of her lungs and the clacking of her high heels against the stone floor. She walked past the guard with ease, looking around the building when she reached the top of the staircase and took in the sights of the exhibits. 'Such wonders. To think they were stealing my memories to rule the world and ruin everything, just because of that young boy's very….odd family.'

As she walked down the hallway and moved closer to the surface, she began to think about that young by that visited her a long time ago, Raito Sonozaki she recalled although he's been going as Philip at this time, and thought that maybe giving him the ability to use her vast knowledge was a mistake given that his family were now fucked beyond repair.

'Mmmm. Since his sisters are trying to kill him, his father has gone insane and his mother is trying to kill said family through her son. Maybe I should...mmmm. Yeah, being his mother would make sense, plus I think it would be cute to tease him~' she thought with amusement, which was rare given how she usually didn't feel that many emotions. 'And I know just where to find him.'

(Later)

-Narumi Detective Agency-

It was a calm, boring afternoon as Shotaro was sitting at his desk, his partner Philip reading a book in the corner while doing a headstand.

And well….there hasn't been a new case in days, like all the crime in the city has been too afraid to even commit a crime or slither out of their seedy buildings of corruption.

Shotaro tapped his fingers on his desk, looking out the window with his feet tapping the floor.

"..."

"..."

Philip yawned a little while closing his book, which happened to be a book on making the best egg omelet, and stood up to get another book.

Knock knock.

Only to hear the door being knocked.

Knock knock.

"A client!" Shotaro got up quickly, nearly falling over as he adjusted his hat and rushed over, making sure he looked organized before opening it.

Creak.

"Hell-"

"Is Philp here?" The woman asked while walking into the office as Philp pointed to himself in surprise, which made her nod as the boy was a little confused why this woman knew his name.

"Wait wait. Why the hell are you barging into this office?" Shotaro frowned while the woman seemed to be familiar with the layout of his office. "This is a serious detective office where important cases are taken care of." 'Damn! Where'd she come from?! Most girls wish they stood out like her.'

"I know. You fight the Museum as Kamen Rider W." she said like it was common knowledge. "You did the planet a favor in rooting out their crimes."

They flitched at this while the woman smiled at them.

"What? Who's this Kamen Rider? Never heard of it." spoke Shotaro looking away.

"Oh?" she said while pointing at both with two middle fingers. "So you didn't obtain the Cyclone or Joker Gaia Memories to stop crime? Oh how silly, I must be talking to the OTHER group of twin detectives with Gaia Memories. I must be off...NOT!"

"We're not twins. We both are just partners." clarified Philip, trying to stay calm and not show worry.

"Uh uh." she deadpanned while not buying it. "Philp dear, I know about the Kamen Rider W stuff. And I am no enemy either. I actually lend you the memories and I can take them back easily too."

Shotaro looked a little confused at that last line and crossed his arms. "That's not possible."

"Why?" she asked while playing along with him.

"Because we don't even know what they are." he said before noticing that two Gaia Memories were in her right hand, a green one and a blackish purple one.

"Then what are these then?" she asked while Philip quickly checked his pockets in surprise. "Don't try to lie to me, it's not going to work since I have a very vast knowledge of things."

"How did….you were…." he looked at her in shock with her smirking.

"If you don't want to tell the truth, I COULD always take the others. You know, Luna, Metal, all of them. And don't think I can't, because it's as easy as a person breathing."

Both paled in a flustered mess as the woman chuckled and walked towards the table and sat on the edge.

"I mean, I made the damn experiences myself." she smirked. "Everything it has, I have and more."

Shotaro and Philp blinked in surprise before it clicked. "Wait...you're…"

"Yep." she crossed her legs and smirked, revealing her sharp fangs. "I'm Gaia. More specifically, I'm the True Gaia Memory that little Philip here gained as my 'avatar', although right now he's more like a library user then a librarian."

Shotaro blinked, looking between her and Philip, with a beeping sound heard with each turn, which kept going for a few more times before his hat popped off by itself and he went wide eyed. "EEEEEEHHHHH?!"

"That is….I….I don't…." Philip let out, looking down while trying to understand how this could be. "But I've never read anything about that."

"Oh that, I rarely take a physical form." she waved off. "I only do it every...one million years or less. Depends on how BORED I am. The last time I visited, the Lento species were still going about killing like savages, oh how I wanted to club them with an axe but what could I do? I'm an observer, not a fighter."

Both looked confused and a little shaken up as the woman threw the Gaia memories back at them.

"Here, your memories." she smiled. "I really enjoy your heroic escapades, it's been fun seeing you two fighting crime and ruining the Museum. Ten out of ten boys."

"Um...I um…" Philp shuttered while trying to comprehend all of this. "You..this...bodies…?"

"Oh relax, this could be worse. I could've come to you as a mother earth form. I mean I have made a lot of mother earth goddesses, and many of them would make you even more scared so I chose something more...appealing to you humans."

Shotaro took a deep breath and put his hat back on. "So….you're THE Gaia, the one who made every single Gaia Memory, right?"

"Yep. And I'm still making new ones every day." she smiled. "Mostly from possible futures. They are fun and interesting, especially this one future where humans and robots fall in love and make humagears. That was cute."

"Humagears?" Philip tilted his head.

"You'll understand later."

"Back on track, what brings you here?" asked Shotaro. "If you know what we do, then you know just who we have to fight against, right?"

"Yes. And for why I'm here." she said while pointing to Philip. "I'm here to see the boy."

"And why is that?"

"To adopt him as my baby boy, duh."

"...EH!?" Philip cried out in shock.

"Adopt!?" Shotaro let out, hat popping off again.

"Yes, he came to me as a child." she said while sighing a little. "And because of that his family is trying to kill him or worse. Thus, as the instigator to this tragedy, I shall rectify this transgression by adopting Philip as my own child." "He he he~'

Philip looked down, overwhelmed and fell backwards onto the couch.

"What's wrong with him?" Gaia asked in mock concern.

"B-But why adopt him now!?" Shotaro yelled.

"Being adopted is fine at any age. Plus he's already a fine young man even without my influence." She smiled. "But I can see that you're shocked, so I have an offer for you Philip, one that might make you more open minded on the whole being adopted issue."

"Um...I don't want to be adopted."

"...really? You don't want to be the son of the planet's memories?" She asked in surprise and a little bit of disappointment.

"It feels a bit….disrespectful."

"How so?"

"Even if I did that, I still have a family, even if they are...you know."

"Treacherous and filled with visions of glory?"

"Putting it mildly."

She nodded while snapping her finger. "Ah, I have an idea. What if we drop the adoption stuff and go in a completely different route?"

Both shivered as the woman continued.

"A business contract. Or maybe a mystery case." she tapped her finger on her chin. "Mmmm, which one would work with the hard boiled detectives? Mmmm….what do you think, Shotaro-chan?"

"What sort of contract exactly?"

She smirked while pulling out one of her hairs, which turned into a deep white and green Gaia Memory with the letters 'R' in the center as she clicked on it.

[Rider!]

"Just a little power boost." she smirked while Philip looked surprised. "This little memory contains all the history of the Kamen Rider, both past and future. The best of the best, and all yours, for a little tiny thing from you Philip."

"And...that is?" he asked with a slightly tilted head.

She smiled while clapping her hands together. "A date with me~"

And cue Shotaro's hat going flying into the air once more.

"A….date?" Philip asked in surprise and confusion.

"Yep." she smiled. "I haven't had a date in ages, and you look nice and handsome. So why not go hanging out with me? It might be fun learning about the earth's hobbies and personal interests."

"Well…."

"Plus you might get a girlfriend out of this, I mean reading books on relationships is fine and all, but you have to experience the real thing at some point." she said with sagely advice. "Don't worry though, it's just a simple date, not a full on make out session at a hotel. I like to take things slowly."

"...one moment." Shotaro dragged Philip quickly out of the room and down into the basement.

She smiled while looking at the office. "Mmm, maybe I should make them some tea?"

(Elsewhere)

-Basement-

"This is getting too insane for me." Shotaro said while pacing around the room. "First the Gaia Memory comes knocking, in human form, and then offers to be your mother and then as a date all in the course of a few minutes."

"True...but it doesn't seem dangerous." remarked Philip rubbing his chin as he paced back and forth. "She hasn't given any reason to see her as dangerous. Granted her power over the memories is beyond what's expected, but she seems willing to side with us."

"But that might be a trap." Shotaro said. "It could just be a false memory masquerading as a human."

"Then why did she even make the Rider Memory?"

"To lull us into a false sense of security." he said while not noticing that Gaia had just walked down into the basement and watched them from the walkway. "And then either take our memories or just kill us."

"I didn't sense any malicious traits from her." remarked Philip looking up in thought. "Perhaps we should believe her and take a chance."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes." he said while not noticing that Gaia was now next to him with a tray full of tea cups and cookies.

"Who wants tea and cookies~?"

"AH!" the two jumped, grabbing at their chests.

"Oh. Sorry about that." she chuckled. "I didn't mean to scare you. I just thought I would bring you some snacks and tea. Helps with the nervous jitters."

"Oh...thanks." Shotaro panted while Philip went straight to the cookies. "But I didn't know we still had tea left."

"I just used a tea memory to refill the cups." she said like it was normal. "And the cookies, I took them from your bosses' secret stash. Under the floorboards closest to the closet."

"What?! I've been looking for that for months!"

"You weren't looking that hard." Gaia teased. "But have some, Akiko will not know about this."

"Are you sure?" asked Philip.

"Yep." she nodded. "Now, enjoy~"

SLAM!

And cue said boss entering the room and threw several sandals at the detectives as Gaia dodged each one.

"YOU DARE STEAL MY STASH!"

The two guys dropped down while Gaia sipped from her own cup casually.

"Ah." she sighed while looking at Akiko. "Welcome, you were just in time to have some tea."

"Who are you?"

"I'm Grace I. Goodwill and I'm Philip's girlfriend." she said while sipping her tea slowly and deliberately.

Akiko slowly blinked while dropping the sandal in her hand. "EHHHHHH!?"

"Yeah." she said while pointing to Philip. "We have been dating for a while now, but I was overseas and today is the only day I could meet him in person."

'Eh!?' Philip thought while his eyes shot open in shock.

"I know you were thinking my boyfriend stole your stash, that is false. I took them because I wanted to treat him to some sweets, but I misplaced my wallet back on the plane and well...I saw it poking out of the floorboards. My apologies Miss Akiko-sama."

The girl blushed lightly at the sweet talk and felt like a real adult for a moment. "Oh...it's fine. Really it is."

"Akiko? A moment." Shotaro spoke up.

"Oh right." she said while still flustered as they walked a few feet away, closed a closet door and-

SLAP!

Smacked Shotaro on the face with a sandal.

"I didn't hear ANYTHING about this!" she snapped while the detective rubbed his now red face. "How did Philip have a girlfriend WITHOUT me knowing!?"

"Ow! It's not that so simple!"

"Then tell it to me as hard and as difficult as possible!"

Shotaro sighed. "That isn't his girlfriend, that's the True Gaia Memory in human form."

"...EEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHH!?"

"I know, it's a lot to take in."

"But...how!?"

"I don't know the details but she came here and first offered to adopt Philip as a son and now wants to date him in exchange for a Gaia Memory." he sighed. "And she's...really making me feel protective of Philip. I mean for all I know, she might be a Dopant masquerading as Gaia."

"Wait, she wanted to adopt him?!"

"Yeah, but Philip said no to that."

"But why?"

"That's complicated as well. But just play along with her and maybe she will leave."

"So he's dating someone who was into adopting him?"

"No no. It was her that offered the date, he's not into her...I think." he said while pushing his hat up. "Mmm...what is he even attracted to in a woman?"

"Let's just ask him." Akiko said while opening the closet door.

Only to see that both Philip and Gaia were NOT in the room.

"Huh? Where'd they go?"

(Elsewhere)

-Futo Cafe-

"Ah." Gaia sighed while both she and Philip were busy having coffee at a local cafe. "This is the best coffee I have ever tasted! Have some Philip~"

"It does have quite the taste to it." he admitted, taking a sip from his cup.

She smiled. "And the tiny little donuts are to die for. And I do mean that literally, I have a lot of memories involving death and the last donut stored in my memory bank."

"I see."

"So, how do you like the date so far?"

"It's pleasant, although I'd need to do research on how a proper date goes to truly understand."

"Then ask me. I'm the most knowledgeable being here." She smiled coyly. "Or are you going to hurt my feelings by reading a book in front of me?"

"No no."

"Then ask."

"Um...what do girls like on a date?"

"A strong person, kind and considerate, and something they like, nothing bad or distasteful. Like for someone with a tomboy personality they might like a fight club or for someone with a more possessive personality, anything cute like an amusement park. Depends on the person themselves." she said while Philip nodded. "But if you want my personal preferences, you have to treat me to a nice dinner. Fancy and with some calm musical beats."

"Ah."

"But I like this as well. Simple and sweet, just like you Philip."

The boy blushed while feeling a little flustered at that comment. "Thank you Gaia-san."

"Call me Grace in public, if you called me Gaia someone would ask questions and some of these people might be part of the Museum." she said while pointing to the people discreetly. "And we don't want a Gaia Impact happening today."

He nodded before seeing the woman poking his nose lightly.

"Boop." she smiled.

"Um...so what do you want to do now?"

"Mmmm...maybe see a movie? Take a walk in the park? Oh there's so many romantic experiences to choose from." she smiled. "But what do you want to do Philip?"

"I need a moment to do a quick check."

She chuckled while watching him think to himself, knowing that he's currently using the Gaia Library in his head to figure out the best idea, and had a small idea of her own as she whispered in his ear. "Just try not to bring up any erotic materials. It might be bad for your heart~"

And cue him turning as bright as a tomato.

'Cute.'

(With Shotaro and Akiko)

"Ah...ah…" Akiko panted as both of them were running around the city looking for Philip and 'Grace', and finding nothing to show that they were even around, not even a footprint.

"Oh Kami….where are….they?" Shotaro got out, leaning against a lamp pole.

"He's not...at the library, or...any place he's used to frequent." the girl panted. "It's like he disappeared from the face of the earth."

"Impossible."

"With that woman, I have no idea!"

Shotaro looked around before moving over to a pair of girls. "Excuse me, could I ask you some questions?"

"About?" one girl asked.

"Well, I need to ask you about a missing person." he said while taking out a picture of Philip from his hat. "Have you seen this man?"

The second girl looked at the photo and raised an eyebrow. "No, but why do you have a photo in your hat?"

"He's my partner. I just have the photo just in case we get separated during a case." Shotaro sighed. "We are detectives."

"Oh!" both girls said in unison.

"So have you seen him?"

"No. Sorry." the first girl said before they walked away.

"Dang it." he frowned before walking up to a mother and her son. "Have you seen this man?"

"No."

He groaned while trying a group of students. "Have you seen this man?"

"No."

Shotaro groaned while Aikio sighed at his antics.

As this occurred, a small boy noticed the photo and gasped.

"I saw him!" he said with wide eyes. "The nice man was at the amusement park with his girlfriend."

"Amusement park? Then that's where we go!" declared Akiko.

Shotaro nodded while both ran to the right, the boy looking confused.

"Or was it the cafe? Drat!"

(With Philip)

The man sighed as he was currently walking with Gaia down the street towards a very fancy steakhouse, something he hadn't tried before and apparently was the first idea that popped into his head when it came to dates.

"Are you ok? You seem a little nervous."

"A little, just surprised I came up with this idea."

"I see, but don't worry. You're with a mature woman, I won't try anything to destroy your wallet." she lightly teased him with a smirk.

"I hope so, I'm on a budget." he remarked casually and bluntly.

"I know, I know." she chuckled as they walked into the restaurant and right towards a waiter. "Table for two, a corner table in the far back. My boyfriend here is a nervous wreck and I don't want him to feel nervous." she then whispered in the waiter's ear. "He's very shy in crowds."

"I understand, miss, follow me." he said with a nod as they walked into the back, Philip confused why the woman even mentioned him being a nervous wreck.

'I'm not nervous with people!' he thought with a frown as they were seated in a far corner table, closest to the emergency exit.

"I will be back with the menus, I hope your date goes well, miss." he said as Gaia smiled.

"Will try." she waved off while chuckling a little.

"I'm not nervous." he remarked bluntly when the waiter left them.

"Normally yes, but you were nervous when coming up with this date." she smirked. "I just told a light lie to get us the best seats in the house."

"I see."

"Don't worry about it. Live a little, enjoy having a lady having a nice dinner with you." she smiled happily. "It's not every day you can just relax without someone trying to kill you right?"

"...fair point." he admitted while the waiter came back with the menus.

"If you need anything, just call me or signal me." he said while walking away.

Philip nodded while for the first time, feeling a little flustered, since he was sitting across from a very beautiful woman that took the time to have some fun with him, an uncommon event for him. Not to mention, completely vulnerable given no prior chance to study beforehand.

"So." Gaia smiled. "Want to know why I have this Memory Driver on my waist?"

"A little."

She nodded. "This is the Gaia Driver, a more advanced version of your own driver that allows me access to all of the planet's memories."

"...so when you pulled your hair."

"I just pulled out a memory from myself and allowed the driver to do it's thing." she smiled. "A defence mechanism really, since I have no combat skills without the driver's abilities. I'm 'weak' enough that you could knock me out with a single flick of the finger really."

Philip blinked in surprise as Gaia smiled at him.

"But enough about the belt, let's talk, man to women." she smirked.

"Ok." he said while looking a little confused as he didn't know the expression's true purpose.

(With Futo)

"Have you seen this man?" The detective asked a clown while both her and Akiko were currently looking around the amusement park for any whereabouts of his partner and the living embodiment of the planet's memory.

"No. Haven't seen him." he said while squirting water at the detective's face with a fake flower. "Yuk yuk!"

Futo looked unamused, although Akiko did laugh.

As she chuckled, she noticed that a young girl was staring at Futo's picture of Philip.

"Hey mister." she called out, getting his attention. "I just saw him."

"Eh? You did?"

"Yeah, he and a very pretty lady just went into a restaurant downtown." she said pointing towards the city. "I think the lady wanted to propose or something. I couldn't hear right, lots of traffic today."

"EH!?" both young adults yelled in shock.

"Are they your friends?"

"He's my partner!" Futo frowned.

"...like boyfriend or…?"

"No! Not that!" he blushed as Akiko snickered a little. "We work together as detectives. Now, where was this restaurant?"

"It's down some alleyway, I can't remember really. Sorry." she admitted with a nervous chuckle. "But I hope you find them."

"This way!" he declared before he took off running.

(A bit later)

The two young adults ran down the street while the sun began to set in the distance, hoping they would find the restaurant before the two ran off again.

As they turned a corner, they noticed that the restaurant was starting to close, although there were some lights in the back and an employee dusting the floors inside said restaurant.

"You there!"

The employee turned and blinked. "What?"

"Is there a man and his date in there?"

"Oh yes, and they are currently drinking us out of house and home!" he frowned. "They first had some sake and the like, THEN the lady pulled out some mambo jumbo on us and woosh! A whole lot of yen for an entire night's stay at the bar! If you're their friends, drag them out before we go bankrupt!"

And cue Futo and Akiko going wide eyed at the accusation, especially when Philip didn't normally indulge in drinking.

"I swear, I've heard of couples going nuts, but not like this."

"..."

Futo sighed while walking into the restaurant, only to see Gaia and Philip drinking a whole bottle of vodka, half undressed, and drunk beyond belief, at the back of the bar area. "Philip?!"

"Ha!" Philip chuckled while Gaia seemed a little more sober than the human. "This is soooooo much better then hic, books~!"

"Philip!" Akiko yelled while pulling out a sandal. "Get away from the bar, now!"

"Oh! Akiko-chan! Futo-chan!" he cheered out with a smile.

The girl frowned before charging towards him and slapped him hard across the face, knocking him out instantly.

Futo flinched at that while Gaia just chuckled.

"Light weight, hic."

"What's the big idea of getting Philip drunk like that?!"

"He asked me what alcohol tastes like, so I indulged him like a good girlfriend would." she smiled. "Don't blame me if he's not a heavy weight like me~"

"And then some." muttered Futo, looking away to avoid staring at the woman's body.

"Anyway." Gaia smiled while lightly punching Futo on the shoulder. "I decided, hic. That I'll date him more, he is cute as fuck after all~"

"This isn't dating, this is partying like loose teenagers." remarked Akiko.

"Aww, is someone jealous~?"

"No I'm not!"

"Hic. Well, we are consenting adults here….so we will date~" she smiled. "And who knows, I might give him lots of babies~ It's not the first time I birthed kids either, hic~"

Futo gumbled as Philip was dragged away by Akiko, who was still peeved about him drinking with a random girl.

"Oh by the way." Gaia smiled. "When Philip wakes up, tell him I'm hic….living with you guys now~"

"Ehhhhh?!" Both yelled in unison before Gaia passed out onto the table, a smile plastered on her face as her bottle of vodka rolled off the table and shattered into pieces.

"You have to pay for that." the barkeep warned. "That bland doesn't come cheaply ya know."

"Oh don't worry, he can pay for it." spoke up Akiko nodding to Futo before she dragged Philip out.

"Wait huh?" he said before being handed the bill, which was about a few million yen or so OVER the normal bill for licor, and went wide eyed. "EH!?"

"They had a lot to eat and drink, so cash or credit?"

"Uh….will you take an IOU?" he tried smiling, making the man glare.

"If you ain't got the cash." he frowned while pointing to the large stack of glasses and plates in the kitchen sink. "Then ya have to do hard work, for a year at most."

Futo looked at the man, the bill and the plates multiple times as his hat popped off of his head and got hooked on a ceiling fan. He gripped the bill and let out a yell to the sky in horror.

(Later)

Philip groaned while laying on a couch, a blanket placed upon his body as his head throbbed in pain.

"Hey." said Gaia who was right next to him. "Welcome back from the dead."

He groaned again before seeing Akiko and Philp glaring at him with anger.

"And not to be a downer, but your friends really don't want us to date, at all."

"For good reason!" Akiko interjected, waving her hands between the two. "Dating Philip isn't the issue, the issue is getting him into all kinds of trouble and crazy situations he's not used to!"

"So you're upset about him getting drunk?"

"Yes!"

"I was drunk?" Philip said in confusion. "And stop yelling please!"

"I'll get you some fresh coffee." spoke Futo before Akiko cut him off. "Hey!"

"No, I'LL make the coffee, if you make it he'll only get worse."

"My coffee isn't that bad."

"It's worse than being drunk!"

"Ow!"

Gaia shook her head. "Try and be quiet to my boyfriend, he had a rough nig-"

"Because you offered him alcohol!"

"True, but he asked and I delivered. I like the curious ones." she chuckled. "Especially when they ask so politely."

"Wait." Futo said while looking a little surprised. "Did you?"

"No we didn't get that far." she deadpanned. "I'm a slow kind of woman, no need to rush into the sexual actions just yet."

Both of them sighed in relief with Philip rubbing his head.

"I should look up ways to get rid of this headache."

"It's a hangover." Gaia said calmly. "The best way to get rid of it is rest, drinking plenty of liquids, and not to drink alcohol again for about a few hours or so. Depending on the tolerance of said individual that is."

"Ah...fascinating."

"Now just relax and don't jump into the library, your friends will get you some coffee."

"I wi-"

"No." Akiko frowned. "I will make the coffee."

Both frowned while Gaia chuckled.

"You're lucky." she smiled. "To have a family that cares for you. They may not be blood related, but they do care for you in their own way."

Philip looked at Akiko and Futo, fighting over who could make it better, giving a small smile as he relaxed. "Yeah."

She moved closer to him and whispered. "Speaking of families, when we get to 'that' point, do you want kids or not? And how many kids if you say yes?"

He turned red as he covered his face in embarrassment.

"Relax, I was just teasing you a little. We will get to that eventually, but." she kissed him on the ear. "That doesn't mean we can't start a family right now. Futo can be the younger brother, Akiko can be the older sister, and yours truly can be the perfect mother with no faults whatsoever~"

The two mentioned young adults overheard that and turned to the woman with a deadpan expression.

"What?"

"You are NOT perfect." both deadpanned.

"Oh I don't know about that, I am perfect for Philip so I'm the most perfect person for him." she teased.

"I could come up with a list of flaws."

"Is that a challenge?" she smirked at Akiko. "If so, I accept sandal gal!"

"Sandal gal!?"

Both smirked at the other while flames seemed to cover them like armor, spooking the detectives immensely.

'I'll just shut up now.' both thought in fear as they felt like their lives had just become more...hectic.
