The next morning Alastor was up and in the kitchen as per usual. Selena walked in as her usual perky self. Both of them were accustomed to running on little sleep. They made breakfast while playfully bantering about their previous night. After breakfast was made, they began to set up the buffet for all the new hotel tenets. After the guests were taken care of, they focused on the staff's breakfast. While they were preparing, Vaggie and Charlie came down. Now, Vaggie was not a morning person, but she was an early not morning person. She grumbled as she sat down with a bouncing Charlie next to her. "I can't believe we have guests." She squealed. Her morning persona shining through as it did every day. Soon to follow was a groggy Husk and a sleepy Angel Dust. It was so odd to see them walk in together. They sat in their respective places. To follow was an excitable Niffty and a weary looking Ryan. When Ryan saw Alastor, he shook in his seat. Selena found this curious. Once everyone was gathered together, Alastor came out with the last of the food prepared. "So are we sure Angel should be eating with us now?"
Alastor's question wasn't clear to anyone. "I mean he's a guest dining with employees. Wasn't that simply so he wouldn't feel lonely at breakfast?" Everyone looked at Charlie.
"He's got a point, toots. I'mma little offended by the question, but it is a fair point." Angel started eating.
"He's part of our group, Alastor. Besides he does work here to some degree. He has been quietly promoting the hotel. We owe him to sit with us."
"Mmm. Okay." No further arguments from Alastor. Everyone just stared. Since when was he so… complacent? When the issue wasn't pressed any further, everyone began to dig into their meal.
After breakfast, Husk and Angel volunteered to help with the dishes. An odd proposition. Usually Alastor had to force them for their help. The two of them had a different air about them. It seemed Alastor wasn't the only alarming change. Shortly after breakfast, Selena had noticed that Ryan all but ran out of the room. She was going to have to ask him about it later. Selena's goal for today was to talk to Charlie then help Niffty so it wouldn't be too hard to catch Ryan in the middle.
So with the plan of her day figured out, Selena went to see Charlie in her office. "Hey, hun. Can I talk to you?"
"Sure, Aunty! What's up?" Charlie had the binders pulled up and had begun rifling through them.
"About the new redemption group, have you figured out where to start?" Selena stepped forward and sat in the chair in front of Charlie's desk.
"Yeah. Actually, there's a few people apparently down here for premarital sex and their sexuality. I want to start with them. According to your redemption guides, this will be the easiest to repent for."
"Yeah. Neana doesn't actually consider that a sin so that'll make things easier." She looked into what section Charlie was looking at. It was the larceny section. She assumed Charlie was looking into the other respective sins of the members of the redemption rebellion. "I'll let her know what to expect soon. Not that I don't think she already knows. Do you need any help, Charlie?"
"No. I don't think so. There's only 30 people in all right now. I've already got redemption plans for ten since yesterday. I'll be fine." She gave a wide grin. It seemed she was happy doing what her dream entailed.
"Alright. Call for me if you need me. I'll be with Niffty today." Selena walked out of the office. She headed towards the direction she heard the pitter patter of Niffty's feet.
