At dinner that night, the night proceeded as normal. Ryan was more relaxed. Angel's usual banter played throughout the night, but Husk seemed less annoyed with it. If anything, tonight he seemed to let it roll off his shoulders entirely. Selena wondered what happened between the two for such a large dynamic change. If anything today in general, Husk seemed more relaxed. She was curious to this turn of events. Usually he was grumbling under his breath; this time he just told Angel to "Fuck off." or "Shut the fuck up." all rather playfully. Selena noted she wasn't the only one to see this difference. Charlie and Alastor both had confused looks on their faces.

"So.. what's up with you two?" Charlie started. It caused a paused look from the two in question.

"Whacha on about, doll?" Angel feigned.

"You and Husk seem closer than before. You're actually teasing each other instead of the blatant 'get the fuck away from me' norm that happens between the two of you." Selena explained.

"Now that you mention it, they have been acting weird all day." Niffty noted her observations as well. All the while Husk seemed embarrassed. And Angel was playing coy.

"Mind your own fucking business, would you?" Husker got up from the dinner table and began to collect plates. He went into the kitchen and began cleaning dishes himself.

"Lemme talk to him." Angel got up and followed Husk into the kitchen. After a few minutes of dishes being rinsed and a quiet chatter between the two. Husk came out and apologized. He was his usual grumpy, tense self again. However, it was left at leave me alone, a fact that did not escape Selena. Charlie wanted to prod some more but Selena stopped her. Advising that it was best to give them space for now.

After the night came to a close, Selena stopped by Angel's room. "Heya, girly. Came by about earlier, huh? Husky said ya would." He let Selena in.

She immediately dropped her question, "So what is going on between the two of you?"

Angel gave a shrug. "All I can tell ya is we fucked last night. I don't know about the rest of it. I do know that if Charlie finds out my hide is in big trouble."

"Why's that?"

"Abstinence is part of my redemption plan." This caused Selena to burst into laughter.

"Boy. I did not expect that. I mean I don't think it'll be a big deal." She tried to contain the giggles.

Angel gave a soft smile before he said, "Last time I got an earful from Charlie. Her scolding lasted from dusk to dawn literally!"

"Wow, Angel. I didn't know you knew what literally or abstinence meant." Selena snickered. That earned her a pillow thrown at her face.

"I know what words mean. Most of the time." He started laughing. The two continued to converse until Selena decided that she needed to leave. Apparently she still had work for the hotel to do. How that girl ran on such little sleep was beyond his understanding. He would go a couple of days without sleeping, but after that he'd crash for a full day just to get all the rest he lacked. This girl from what he could tell either slept an hour a day or didn't sleep for days on end. He could never tell.

Back in Selena's room, she began to pray. "Neana, there are demons who are willing to be redeemed. Please use me as your eyes and ears. To judge these wayward souls. To allow them to ascend into your Heaven. Several of the demons Charlie as spoken to are here because they had pre-marital sex or because of their sexuality. I know that these sins aren't ones that truly need forgiving, but please forgive them and let them ascend." Selena had silent tears dripping down her face. Selena felt a presence imbued with her soul. She stood up and went to sleep for a few hours.
