-Remnant, Sanus, Vale, Patch, Rose Residence-
We find ourselves at a rather cozy and small cabin house in the woods. The sun was shining and well, it gave a feeling of comfort to all that saw it.
But as the camera moved closer, we could see a small raven poking its head in by the nearby window and cawed a little.
"Ugh…" groaned a voice as a short fair skinned woman with silver eyes, short shoulder length reddish black hair that was tied in the back in a semi half up and half down style, a F cup chest and small ass, wearing a white hooded cloak that was red underneath, a black high-neck décolletage blouse with studded wristbands on the arms, a black and white overbust corset, a black skirt with white tulle underneath, gray leggings, and knee-high boots with red soles walked to the window with a sad sigh. "No birdy, you can't come in."
This was Summer Rose, widow of Taiyang Xiao Long and former Huntress leader of Team STRQ. And well...let's just say being alone for the last few years can make some people very depressed.
"Caw." the bird said before flying in and turned into a familiar face in a cloud of smoke.
"Raven." Summer sighed as said woman sat on the couch. "I know you're worried about me but I'm fine. Just take care of your own daughter instead of me."
"I could, but right now I have to make sure you don't do anything stupid."
"Like what?" Summer frowned.
Raven eyed the silver and gold scythe with a white metal strap over the staff, which was lying near the corner, and then at Summer. "You did try to end things when I left."
"...I'm not like that anymore." she frowned. "I overcame that part."
"Yes. Thanks to everyone removing the scythe from the house for a year." Raven sighed. "Look, I'm trying to make sure you don't do that again, and...well. I don't want to see you in that state again."
Summer sighed and moved towards Raven. "Raven, why are you here?"
"...I came to tell you that Beacon is having a Meet the Parents day in a few weeks." she grumbled. "And since you're about to enter another bout of depression, why not go and see Yang and Ruby. Make sure they are ok."
"Wait? Why can't you go there instead?"
"I am not going to visit that fool anytime soon. Besides, I plan on meeting Yang later that week." she huffed with a light blush, which Summer knew was her embarrassment.
"Still having trouble being a mom?"
"..." she turned away as Summer chuckled, her loneliness disappearing for a brief moment.
"You really should try and open up a bit more to her."
"It's hard when you're a bandit queen." she huffed as Summer smirked a little.
"Or because you don't want to hurt her, like when she was a baby."
"Hey!" she spun around with a blush. "She was my first child! I killed people, it's hard to HOLD your child when I could hurt her with my hands!"
"Even when Yang tried to crawl up your leg?"
Raven blushed and turned away as Summer snickered. "Shut up and just consider what I said, I'm leaving."
"Oh don't go." Summer said as Raven got up. "Stay a while. I can make some of your favorites."
"..." she sighed. "Maybe another time, but for the sake of your child and mine...just visit them, make sure they are safe and for the love of the gods, try and move on from Tai."
"..." Summer sighed. "Same with you?"
"..." she looked away before turning into a bird and flew away, leaving the question unanswered.
Summer looked over at her scythe with a sinking feeling before moving over to a framed picture with her, Taiyang, and their daughters, all smiling. "..."
As she looked over the picture, the words of Raven sank deep into her mind like a sinking ship in a sea of negative emotions.
"...Tai." she muttered to herself. "What would you do in a time like this?"
The woman turned to her scythe, a relic of a time long gone, and moved towards it before picking it up.
"...maybe I should go to Beacon? Get my mind readjusted?" Summer muttered to herself. "If I don't, Raven might get on my back. Besides, this is for the girls."
(A week later)
-Sanus, Vale, Beacon Academy-
Summer, her scythe hanging from her right shoulder, looked at the white and emerald castle with both nasatoga and a bit of dread, knowing this was the place where her team once came into existence and where she was recruited into Ozpin's inner circle...before the incident. "Still beautiful, even after so many years."
As she looked around, she noticed one tiny thing.
The place had some renovations, especially the hallways she was currently in, so it was extremely hard to navigate.
"Time flies by before you know it." She muttered to herself before hearing some guitar music down the adjasoned hallway. "Huh? What's that?"
KABANG!
"OW!" yelled a blonde student as he got clobbered by his own guitar by a white haired girl, who looked a little annoyed. "Snow Angel-"
"Don't call me that Jaune Arc! And get some musical help, it was taxing on my hearing!" she frowned while storming off in a huff.
"Aw come on! It wasn't that bad!" He yelled.
"Yes it was!" she shot back while Summer turned a corner and saw the boy's very dejected posture.
But as she moved closer, she thought she saw a ghost due to the boy turning to her with the face of a younger Taiyang, before that image vanished instantly.
'Huh?' Summer thought before shaking her head and saw the boy looking at her. "Are you ok?"
"Yeah. My pride's hurt but other than that I'm fine Miss...?"
"Summer. Summer Rose." she greeted while the boy blinked.
"Name's Jaune Arc and wait did you say Rose?"
"Yep."
"Like Ruby Rose?"
"Yes, she's my daughter." She said while Jaune blinked.
"Huh...you look just like Ruby." he said in surprise as Summer blushed a little.
"Well, she does have my looks. But how do you know her?"
"I'm her friend, well my team are friends with her team."
"Wait, you're a team leader?"
"Yep. I'm the J of Team JNPR."
"Wow, what a coincidence, I'm a team leader too."
"Small world huh?" Jaune said as Summer nodded in agreement.
"Yep, a small world." She smiled as they started to make small talk with one another.
(A few hours later)
Yang frowned as she held Weiss by the collar as she dragged the Schnee down the hallway, her team following soothe. "Ice Queen."
"Don't call me that please."
"...Weiss." she said with a serious tone. "I know Vomit Boy's musical playing is lacking but hitting him with his own guitar? That's pushing it."
"I was dealing with a bad headache while studying, and him trying to hit on me wasn't helping!"
"Still, it was rude." Ruby sweatdropped.
"So you have to apologize to him." Yang deadpanned before noticing an interesting sight.
Jaune and her step-mom were talking and laughing like they were old friends.
"Really? Yang, the brawn of RWBY, tried to crawl on her mother's hair as a baby?" Jaune asked with a snicker as Summer nodded.
"Yep, and she was trying to eat Raven's hair like it was made of licorice." she snickered while Yang turned bright red in embarrassment as Blake patted the blonde's back in sympathy. "It was so cute, I think I still have pictures of that. Want to see Jaune?"
"Sure."
"NO!" Yang yelled, getting their attention.
"Oh hi Yang." Summer smiled while pulling out her Scroll. "Just in time for me to show my new friend your baby pictures."
Yang paled while Weiss snickered a little. She ran over and quickly covered Jaune's eyes. "You peek and I'll give you a wedgie."
"Wait huh?"
"Yang, don't even." Summer frowned while moving the blonde's hands and showed Jaune the image, which showed a baby Yang with a tuft of blond hair, chewing on her mother's long black hair. "See Jaune? Isn't it cute."
"It is."
"Noooo!" Yang cried out as Blake, Ruby and Weiss took a peak and chuckled at the image. "Look away from it!"
"Why?" Ruby asked while chuckling. "It's cute."
"No it isn't!" she blushed as Summer took notice of Weiss and tapped her on the shoulder.
"I know you hurt Jaune, but I'm willing to let that slide if you apologize to him."
"I was...about to." She grumbled before seeing Summer pulling out an image of Ruby, toddler sized, trying to bathe in a mud puddle, naked.
"This is what Ruby looked like as a toddler." Summer smiled as Ruby turned bright red.
"Huh." Jaune said while Ruby tried to cover his eyes, but failed due to her short stature. "Looks like one of my sisters."
"Oh this is too good." spoke Blake taking a photo.
"No!" Ruby cried out in horror. "Not the baby pictures!"
Jaune chuckled while Weiss huffed.
"I'm sorry about hitting you on the head with your instrument."
"Oh, no problem. I kinda forgot when me and Summer started talking actually." Jaune admitted. "I mean she's really sweet once you get to know her."
"Oh Jaune." Summer smiled happily. "You flatter you."
Ruby blinked while moving closer to Yang. "Hey Yang."
"Yeah?"
"Is it just me or is Jaune...hitting on mom?"
"What? Eww no!" Yang gagged.
"Then why are they so...you know." she asked while pointing to her mom and best friend, who were busy 'flirting' with each other like a couple.
Yang blinked, looked carefully at them, and rubbed her eyes. 'Huh...is it just me or is mom...actually happy?'
"Doesn't it seem odd to you?" Ruby asked.
"...I really don't know Ruby. I really don't know." she shrugged before seeing Summer turn in Blake's direction.
"So, do you want to see any more baby pictures?"
"Oh big time."
"NOOOOOOO!" Ruby and Yang carried out in horror.
(A few months later)
-Patch, Rose Residence-
Qrow blinked as he walked into the small cabin and saw Summer, his team leader, currently on a ScrollCall with one of Ruby's friends, Jaun Ace if he recalled, as both seemed to be having a nice pleasant time chatting.
"Oh I have to go, my brother in law just came in. Later Jaune."
"Bye Sum."

Summer swooned while twirling around the room like a schoolgirl. "Ah~ He called me Sum~"
"Uh, Summer?" Qrow said before Summer turned to him.
"Yes~" she sang in a sing-song voice.
"Aren't you getting a little...too invested in the kid?"
"Nope." she grinned. "Me and Jaune are best friends, and he's so cute."
Qrow raised an eyebrow. "Uh huh, so you like the kid?"
Summer shook her head no, confusing the Branwen a little, as she chuckled. "I don't like him, I love him~"
"Uh...say again?"
"I said I love him." she said calmly while walking over to charge her Scroll up. "He's cute, adorable, strong in his own way, and really cares for me. He's not Tai, no one can replace him, but Jaune...he treats me like I was fifteen, a real gentleman~"
Qrow raised an eyebrow that this while feeling like Summer was losing it. "Um, does he know?"
"Not yet." she smiled. "I'm planning to tell him after the Vytal Festival."
"I see...have you told anyone else?"
"Just Raven, and she's ok with it."
"And you don't think it's weird to feel this way to a boy around Yang and Ruby's age."
Summer shrugged. "We Hunters and Huntresses are legally adults. I don't see the problem."
"...true." he said in agreement. "But what if he has someone else he likes?"
Summer falsely smiled while cracking her knuckles. "Then I have to 'visit' the girl and 'congratulate' them for their eventual funeral."
'Oh shit, she's out for blood.' "Hey Summer, why don't I show this new bar I found? It's got some pretty damn good booze."
"Nah." she waved off. "I'm just going to get some training done?"
"Training?"
"Yep, I'm going to enter the Vytal Tournament, as the mini boss." Summer smiled while walking to grab her scythe.
"Wait wait, how-"
"Called a favor from Ozpin, I'm going to be testing some teams to see if they have the right stuff." she said with stars in her eyes. "And I'll crush them like ants!"
"Or you could go easy. I mean they are still kids ya know."
"Yeah no." Summer deadpanned. "Not going to do that Qrow. Besides, you always fought YOUR students."
"...true."
Summer sighed before walking away, Qrow feeling like his leader might be having an issue.
That issue, overprotectiveness, something she was known to do if someone hurt a member of her team, with varying results of chaos and destruction in her wake.
'This ain't gonna end without blood being spilt.'
(Some time later)
-Vale, Amity Colosseum, Locker Rooms-
It was a very quiet prep time as Team JNPR were busy getting themselves ready for battle.
Well...except for Jaune who was busy talking to Summer on his Scroll, no visuals, and Pyrrha was a little annoyed at this.
"Good luck out there Jaune, make sure to keep an eye on your surroundings." Summer said with a cheerful tone.
"I know Sum. I wish you were here, however, to see us win." Jaune said while Pyrrha looked annoyed, only for Nora to pat her on the back to calm her down.
"Oh I will be there, just not where you'd think I would be."
"What do you mean?"
"You'll see~" she said before hanging up.
Jaune raised an eyebrow before seeing Ren tap his shoulder.
"Jaune." He sighed. "Are you ready?"
"Yeah, I'm ready, you?"
"Yes."
Jaune nodded while they left the room.
(Later)
-Stadium-
The crowd cheered as Team JNPR walked out into the center of the stadium itself, each one pumped for battle.
But that was when Jaune noticed his opponent was...Summer Rose, holding her Scythe in her hands as she grinned a little.
"Hi Jaune!" she said with a smile.
"Sum?!" He yelled in shock. "What are you doing here!?"
"Right, I'm here as a 'mini boss' for all teams." She chuckled. "I just beat several teams already and you're going to be my fortieth team of the day."
"A...mini boss?" He said while Nora blinked.
"So we have to kick your ass and then we can go on beating up other teams?"
Summer nodded before winking at Jaune. "Just try not to get entranced by my fit body, Jaune~"
In the stands, Team RWBY, well the R and Y of the team, went bug eyed at that 'flirting' attempt.
"Awww gross!" Ruby gagged.
"What's mom doing!?" Yang yelled in shock as she saw her step-mom trying to flirt with Jaune, Ruby's friend, right in front of everyone.
"Need a barf bag?" asked Blake.
"Yes." Yang said while Team JNPR got ready to face the 'mini boss'.
"Want me to break her legs, fearless leader?" Nora asked while brandishing her hammer.
"You're free to try, but don't think I'll go easy on you." Summer smiled while her scythe transformed into a pair of gold gauntlets with several barrels on the knuckles. "After all, you're talking to the one that taught Yang how to punch through solid oak."
"I thought that was her dad?"
"She learned how to punch, I taught her how to do it with style." She smiled while racing towards Nora with incredible speed.
POW!
And sent her flying a few feet.
"Now get your game face on!"
"Attack!" Jaune yelled as Ren and Pyrrha got their weapons ready as Summer smirked.
She quickly dodged a strike from Pyrrha's spear before using her cloak to block Ren's bullets, causing them to shimer as several Dust crystals lined the fabric. "Nice try, but I eat bullets for breakfast!"
Jaune charged towards her before getting kicked in the face, then the gut, then the face again by Summer before winking at him.
"Come on now, try and please me~"
He let out a battle cry and swung at her face, only to find the blade caught in the corner between her scythe blade and pole.
"Try again love." She chuckled before picking him up by the blade and threw him at Ren before transforming them back into gauntlets to block Pyrrha's spear head on. "Ah, the famous Pyrrha Nikos. Heard great things about you from Jaune, like how you have a crush on him. Mmm~"
"W-What!?" She blushed while losing focus. "I-I don't have a crush on him!"
"Your face says it all." Summer smiled before punching Pyrrha in the stomach and then dodged Ren's bladed gun slashes. "Woah! Careful, you could nearly take out an eyeball with those!"
"Possibly." he said before Nora jumped on his back and tried to slam her hammer onto Summer's head.
"NORA SM-" she cried out before seeing the scythe slash at her hammer's staff, throwing her off her balance as Summer threw her right into Jaune.
"Nice try! But I've seen better attacks from my brother in law! And he's a drunk!" Summer chuckled while Ruby noticed that her mother was showing off her hips to both Nora and Jaune, seductively that is.
"Oh gods." she grumbled, covering her eyes.
Summer smirked before dodging a spear to the face and jumped back, turning her scythe into gauntlets again and slammed the ground, sending her flying from several well placed bullets, and changed it back into a scythe. "This is a real smash! Summer Cataclysm!"
Yang blinked as she saw the weapon getting coated with silver energy, her step-mom's eyes glowing the same color. "Oh shit! Vomit Boy! Mom's getting serious! Watch out for the silver!"
"Uh oh." he muttered when he heard that, albeit faintly from the roar of the crowd.
BOOM!
And like that the scythe hit the ground, causing several pillars of silver energy to go flying from the blast zone and towards Team JNPR like missiles.
"Shit!"
"That dosen-" Nora said before getting hit by one of the pillars, sending her flying before she was encased by a thick ice like pillar of glass.
"Nora!" Ren yelled before dodging one of the pillars of light, just as Summer smirked and pointed her scythe, now covered in silver and the curved blade extending over a few feet and curving inwards, at the three remaining Beacon students.
"This is why I'm Team Leader, and now, time to finish this Jaune!"
"Uh, time out?" Jaune asked before seeing Summer shaking her head no, making him pale. "Um...Pyrrha? Maybe we should um…."
"Jaune." Pyrrha frowned.
"Right, um oh! Use your semblance, try and lift me into the air so I can do an airstrike."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, Ren, cover her."
"On it." he said before firing at Summer with his weapons as Pyrrha concentrated her semblance onto Jaune's armor.
"Ha ha!" Summer laughed with confidence. "This is a thrill! I haven't felt like this in ages!"
Jaune wound up in the air before Pyrrha hurled him at Summer.
Summer blinked before slashing the air, sending a silver crescent shaped energy wave at the boy, but noticed that it bounced off his body and went back at her. 'Huh, passive semblance? Interesting.'
"Ahhhh!" Jaune cried out while crash landing onto Summer's body.
Boing~
And on to her chest as Yang and Ruby blushed in disgust at that move, thinking it was a little perverted for him.
"Oh come on! That's just wrong!"
"Kick him off mom!" Ruby yelled while Summer just sat there….looking rather pleased at this as she licked her lips a little.
'Just like Tai...he he. This feels nice~' she smiled, making Jaune blush before he quickly rushed off her while hearing some wolf whistles from the crowd.
"S-Sorry!"
Summer blinked before getting up, her eyes returning to normal along with her weapon, as she placed the scythe on the ground. "Ok, come on Jaune, hand to hand fighting. Let's see if you can KO me and win. Or do you want me to go all 'Silver Madwoman' on you?"
He gulped before putting his sword and shield away, much to his team's confusion, and raised his fists up. "Ok Sum, I'll play along."
"Great, you get one chance to KO me. So make it count." she said while winking at him in a seductive way that made Yang nearly puke.
"Oh gods..." the blonde groaned while looking at Weiss. "Got a...barf bag?"
"Sorry, but I don't." Weiss said while Blake noticed that Jaune was running towards Summer with his right fist ready to punch the woman in the stomach.
"Five lien that Jaune will not knock her out?"
"Ten lien for that!" Ruby said while feeling like she just betrayed her best friend but right now, she didn't want her mom to turn Jaune into a 'filth hunter' like Blake, especially in front of the entire city of Vale.
Pat.
Summer blinked as Jaune hit her in the stomach, looked at the fist then at Jaune before smiling and gasped in 'pain' as she fell on the ground and said in an exaggerated tone. "Oooh~ My ribs...my...only weakness. Tell Ruby I...love her...ah~"
The boy blinked as Summer decided to play dead, sticking her tongue out for good measure, as he was absolutely confused why this even happened as the crowd didn't read the atmosphere and cheered for his win.
Ren ran towards the pillar of glass and looked on as the pillar shattered to pieces and Nora landed in his arms like a princess.
"Eh? What ha…." she said before looking at her position and turned bright red at her current predicament. "Wow Ren, you're awfully bo-"
"Coincidence." he said before walking away with Nora still in his arms.
"So why are-"
"We are going back to the room." he said calmly. "And I'll make some pancakes, without the plate."
Nora blushed red while slowly realizing one thing. 'Shit! He wants to do it! Finally!'
Pyrrha shook her head at this odd victory as Summer suddenly rose up and smirked a little creepy at Jaune.
"Jaune~" she licked her lips while moving closer to him and whispered. "Hotel room, right now. Your girlfriend is thirsty right now~"
"W-What?! But the tournament!"
"Later." she said before picking him up, bridal style, and ran away, much to Yang and Ruby's shock. "Right now I'm horny~!"
"Wait...what!?" Yang yelled while seeing her step mom running off with Jaune, who seemed to be blushing as red as Ruby's cloak. "Mom! Get back here!"
"My eyes! They burn!" Ruby cried out as Weiss and Blake sighed.
"At least it wasn't our moms." they muttered to themselves as Pyrrha felt a little heartbroken at Summer's theft of Jaune.
'I...I won't lose!' she thought before running off and towards the older huntress and 'her' man.
