Crazy trouble with love part 9
Kikimora and King
Series: Owl Lady
xxxxxxxxxxxx
'Ugh, filthy commoners.' Kikimora thought as she walked down the street, clothed in plain beige robes. 'Sometimes I wonder if it would be better to just sweep the town away and rebuild it all with much more promise and better to look at buildings, especially update the clothes, maybe implement some sort of required uniform for everyone.' She thought, shooting glances at random people as she made her way through the town.
Today she was shockingly not on patrol, and actually had a day off. Sure she was a firm believer in Emperor Belos, but even she got time off for all the hard work she put in. Today however, she was working just as hard, if not harder to find her quarry, those instead of hunting wild witches, she was after something less dangerous.
'Where are they, where are they? I know for sure they're hiding around here, and when I find them, I will show no mercy.' She thought, her eyes narrowed as she glanced over the various stalls before one caught her eye. 'Ah ha! There they are!' She thought as she beelined towards the stall. 'You're mine now!'
The stall she approached was rather small compared to the others, as if it had just been cobbled together at the last minute, but she didn't care, all she cared about was what was for sale. As soon as she got there she stopped and narrowed her eye at the demon running it, who literally had an eyestalk for a head.
"Hello there, what can I do for you miss?"
"How much for that?" She said, cutting right to the chase as she pointed at her quarry. Said quarry was a strange object, it looked like a squid except it was fuzzy and looked like it was handmade with cloth.
"Ah, well that is a recent item. I'd say it's worth...50 snails." The creature said as she nodded.
"Deal." She said, practically throwing the snails at the being as she grabbed the stuffed squid. She quickly ran away, ducking into a nearby alley. She then stared at it before glancing around, making sure no one else was watching before hugging it tightly to her chest and let out a muffled squeal under her breath, and behind the collar.
'Yeeeeeeesssss! This is a fine addition to my collection~' She thought, rubbing the head and feeling her face heat up. 'Oh I know just where to put it too, my bedside stand would be perfect~' She thought happily, stuffing the squid inside her cloak and out of view. 'Today is a good day~'
She gave a huge grin behind the collar, feeling a pep in her step as she resumed going down the street, unaware that in the road nearing her own was King who was kicking a rock and looking moody.
"Stupid Eda not giving me enough money, I earned it, I found that shiny human garbage before she did!" He grumbled crossing his arms. "If anything, I should be getting an allowance, but do I? No! And I'm the king of demons! Just you wait Eda, as soon as my kingdom is back, you'll be the one coming to me for money!" He declared, ranting to himself as he fumed, grumbling about his 'mistreatment', only for his stomach to growl. "But first, my body needs sustenance before I get my revenge."
He looked around as he scratched his chin before spotting a fruit stand. "Yes!" he took off running towards it, right in the path Kikimora was going, leading to-
BOOM!
The two small figures crashed into each other, sending both of them falling to the ground, a relatively short trip, but an unwelcome one nonetheless.
"Ow! Hey, watch where you're going you litt-" Kikimora started in annoyance, only to stop as her eyes widened and her breath stopped.
"Nyaaaah! You almost made me drop my snail!" King cried, clutching the single coin as he got up and belined towards the stall.
Kiki could only stare at shock at the figure walking to the stand. It felt like everything else around didn't even exist except the black furred bone wearing demon, with her gripping her chest where her heart was. She had trouble even thinking straight, one one word echoed itself in her mind. 'CUTE!' She felt herself swaying, nearly falling over before dropping on her knees. 'Cute…cute…cute!' she kept chanting in her head with her eye seemingly looking like a heart the more she stared at him.
"Hey buddy, I want one of your best fruits." King said eagerly, reaching for what looked like an apple before the owner lightly slapped his hand.
"5 snails per fruit."
"What? That's a rip off, 1 snail."
"I said it's 5."
"1 snail is my final offer." King said, shaking his head. "You should be honored to serve the king of demons!"
"I don't care if you were the emperor himself, 5 snails or no deal, take it or leave it pipsqueak."
"You kidding? This stuff is practically rotten. I'm giving you the deal of a life time so you don't throw it out. Half a snail!" King declared as the owner sighed.
"5, or I'll call the demon hunters."
"Fine! You forced my claw. 2 snails!" relented King pulling out another coin.
"That's it!" the stall owner frowned at King, only to see Kikimora walk up behind the demon, making the man stand up straight, which King misunderstood.
"You're right that's it, my deal is way too good to pass up." Nodded King with satisfaction.
"Hello." Kikimora said, tapping his shoulder.
"AH!" he yelped, jumping back and seeing Kikimora, making him frown. "Hey, don't go sneaking up on the king of demons!"
"The king of demons?" She asked, tilting her head slightly as she fought to stay composed. 'King….King… where have I heard that name before?'
"Yeah. The reigning ruler of ALL demons." he remarked with his claws on his hips with her internally slapping herself in the face.
'Don't squeal! Don't scare him off! Even if that is TOO CUTE!' She thought as she cleared her throat. "I see, and the king of demons is haggling for an apple?"
"Not my fault I missed breakfast, Eda took the last one." He pouted as she inwardly gasped.
'Eda? The Owl Lady? This adorable demon KNOWS her? He's that King?!' Kikimora thought in surprise. 'Would that also make him a criminal? This...might be easier than I thought.' She thought before clearing her throat. "Well then 'my king', perhaps you'd allow me to take the honor of buying you that fruit."
King gasped before grinning. "Yes! Finally someone recognizes my noble awesomeness! Thank you, you may buy me that fruit!"
She walked up to the stand before plopping a bag of snails on it. "We'll take all your produce."
"Y-Yes ma'am!" the seller nodded and quickly gathered up the fruit in a bag, handing it to her with her grunting at the weight, but managed to keep from dropping it.
"Yes! Truly a feast fit for a king!" Cheered King before grabbing an apple and bit into it with a hum. "Ah, the taste of victory."
'Adorable, I must have him!' thought Kikimora, any hesitation instantly squashed. "Say 'my king', eating all of this would leave one feeling quite tired, might I suggest some place comfy enough to rest it all off?" Kikimora offered, trying to remain cool and collected on the outside.
"Hmmm, is it large and wide enough for my glory?"
"Oh yes my king, it is."
"Then lead the way, minion!" He called as she grinned beneath her robe.
"With pleasure~" She chuckled as she rubbed her hands together. 'Yes, just follow me~'
With that she began to lead him, with King holding the produce in his arms to munch on them with eagerness.
'This is almost too easy~' She thought, directing him into a nearby alley.
'First food and now a place to rest? If she keeps this up, I might just make her my right hand minion.' King thought as Kikimora began to lead him down the alley.
"OH! But I should warn you, the way to get there is...unorthodox." She said as she stopped.
"Huh? Unorthodox?" He said his focus still on the apples.
"Yes." She said, pulling her sleeves back. 'You're mine now King~'
"What do you mean by that?" He asked as he started to turn back to her, only to feel something hit him on the back of his head. He groaned in confusion as he felt not pain, but rather an intense urge to sleep.
"It's alright my precious, relax and sleep~" Kikimora cooed as she caught King as he started to collapse. She let out a devious chuckle and carried him off in her arms while leaving the produce behind.
(Later)
"Mmm...no Luz...not there….lower….ah...much better…"King murmured as he began to groggily regain consciousness. He slowly started to sit up, letting out a yawn while stretching. "Ahhh, man, that nap felt great. Wait, why did I take a nap anyway?"
"You got tired on the trip to my place to rest, you must have been quite tired." Called Kikimora, who King only realized he was atop her and in her lap. "Not to worry, we're in my room, nice and safe."
"Huh? Your room?" he said as he looked around, and his eyes going wide. They were in a bright pink and purple room littered with all sorts of weird and fuzzy, but also oddly adorable plush toys. "Whoa…. There's so many royal subjects here for me to lead!"
"Oh? You have minions of your own?" She asked with a smile, petting him as he nodded.
"Yeah, I have all kinds back home, I led an army...until they betrayed me….why Francois, why did you betray me?!" He cried out, holding his paws up in the air, making Kikimora nearly fall back on her pillow, inwardly screaming.
'HE'S PERFECT!' She thought, shaking with excitement. 'Tiny, furry, adorable, with a spirit to go with it all! Oh I must have died and gone to paradise!'
King was cut off from his dramatic cry from his stomach letting out a gurgle. "Oh right, where's my feast?"
"Your feast? Ah, yes, right, your feast." Kikimora said, sitting up quickly. "It's just about ready."
"Well prepare it posthaste, I hunger." He said as she nodded and moved over to her door.
"Don't worry, it'll be one you won't forget." she told him before stepping out and spotted a coven guard walking by. "You there, get to the kitchen and prepare something using the fruit I brought in a sack."
"But Miss Kikimora, all I do is guard duty, I'm not a chef."
"Did I ask that?" She narrowed her eye. "Now go and get cooking, or I'll replace you with a real cook."
"Y-Yes ma'am!" He saluted and rushed off, making her nod and walk back into her room with a smile.
"It's going to take some time my king, but I assure you it will be up to your standards."
"Excellent, the king of demons deserves only the finest meals!" He boasted smugly.
"And the finest belly rubs too?"
"Huh?" He looked at her confused as she walked over. "What do you mean?"
"You were talking in your sleep, muttering about someone named Luz rubbing your belly I believe." She said, frowning inwardly. 'Who is this Luz, is she after him too?'
"Oh, that, uh… you can forget about that." he looked away with a cough.
"Are you sure? You seemed awfully happy in your sleep."
"Of course, what kind of king would I be if I wanted belly rubs and scratches behind my ears?" He asked, looking away as she smirked.
"So you wouldn't like it if I did this?" She asked as she reached out to rub the back of his ears.
King's back straightened up, his tail doing the same before closing his eyes at the sensation, Kikimora's fingers hitting the right spot and leading to him laying down on all fours and closing his eyes.
"...oh, I am remembering this for later~" She chuckled, getting on her knees and giving off a creepy grin behind her collar as King rolled on his side, making her use one hand to give his belly a rub at the same time.
"Mmm, yes, a little lower…..yes…." He let out, almost sounding like he was purring.
"Whatever you want my king." She said with a grin as his tail wagged lazily. 'I'm never letting him out of my sight! This is the best day ever!'
Knock knock
"What?" she growled at the door.
"Uh, Miss Kikimora? I have the fruit you wanted, should I come in or-"
"No, just leave it out there and leave me be." She snapped as King perked up.
"Fruit? Is the feast here?" He said as he tried to sit up.
"You just relax right here, I'll get it." She sighed as she reluctantly left his side. 'That fool will pay for this if I ever see them again!' she opened the door and looked down, narrowing her eye. 'Nevermind, I will personally use him as a target dummy!'
The platter he left behind showed the fruit, but just cut up into slices with toothpicks in each one. 'I promised King a feast, and this is the best they can give me?!' She thought in anger.
"Is the food ready? I'm starving!" King called as she sighed.
'It will have to do.' She walked back in. "Here it is my king, I know it's not much, but-"
"Are you kidding? Fruit sliced into perfect slices with toothpicks so I don't get my claws messy? It's perfect!" He said with a grin. "Plus they're fresh, this is the best feast ever! Thanks uh…..I'm sorry, what's your name again?"
"Oh, you don't need to worry about me, just enjoy yourself." She smiled as she set it down. 'Phew, dodged a close one.'
"Ok, thanks!" He said as he dug into the fruit tray, with Kikimora watching him happily. 'This is nice, finally someones treating me as a king, they give me free food, plus for once they're not towering over me!'
'I need to take a picture for later, or a dozen!' Kikimora thought as she carefully reached for her scroll. She didn't want to be too quick, but given how eager King was digging into the fruit, he didn't notice a thing. Soon the fruit was gone and Kikimora had taken more than enough pictures.
"Ah, truly an excellent feast!" King said with a burp. "This has been an amazing day, I never want it to end."
'Oh it won't be ending anytime soon my sweet little furry darling~' She thought, barely stifling an evil chuckle.
(Later)
"King, get down from there right now! I just want to give you a belly rub!"
"No way!"
"Come now, one more won't hurt!" Kikimora called, trying to coax King down from one of her higher shelves.
"You said that before! And before that! And before THAT!" He called, holding one of her stuffed animals out as a makeshift shield. "Enough is enough! I don't need anymore belly rubs, headpats, or anything else!"
'But you make so many cute sounds when I do those!' She thought, biting her lip. "Come now my king, it's perfectly fine to enjoy those, there's nothing wrong with them."
"No, I said enough, your king demands it!"
'Yes, you are MY king~' She thought, shivering before letting out a sigh. "Oh very well, I'll stop, at least for now." She grumbled the last part.
"Ok, good…" He said as he began to make his way down. "Maybe we should try this again another day, it's starting to get late and I should be getting back to Eda."
Her eye widened. "Wait, what do you mean? You don't have to leave yet, right?"
"Well, yeah? I mean, I don't live here, and I don't want Eda and Luz to get worried." He said with a shrug as she paled at the thought of him leaving.
'Leave? Now? But he can't!' "C-Come now, I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you stayed a little longer." She protested.
"No, I didn't tell them I'd be gone and I don't want them to worry." He said as he shook his head. "I think I should go but I did have fun, I'd love to hang out with you again some time."
"B-But you can't! There's so much more!" She tried to let him know as he got down. "A feast is one thing, but you didn't have any dessert yet."
"I shouldn't…" He started but he trailed off as he began to feel his mouth water. "Well, maybe I have time for one desert."
"Excellent, I'll go get some, you stay right here." She smiled, picking him up and carrying him over to a big pile of plushies before setting him right in the center. After briefly taking a quick picture, she rushed out and closed the door. 'I need something big, something so amazing he'll forget about leaving!' She thought as she looked around frantically, barely thinking as she was having a full blown panic attack.
'Man, coming up with some kind of 'feast' sure sucked. Glad I don't gotta do that again.' thought the same coven guard from earlier.
"YOU!"
"Gah! K-Kikimora, wha-"
"DESERT. NOW. MAKE IT GOOD!" she ordered him with a mad look in her eye.
"D-Dessert? But miss, I-"
"NOW! Go go go go go!"
"Ah! I'm on it!" he let out before running to the kitchen.
"Good, good, once King has his dessert he'll be happy, and he'll never, ever want to leave, ever!" She muttered to herself. "With him, Emperor Belos will get some info about the Owl Lady, after some encouragement, and I'll get a precious, fluffy, adorable, and huggable pet all to myself~" She giggled eagerly as she rubbed her hands together.
(Later)
"Well, King, I think it's too late for you to head back to this Eda person on your own." Remarked Kikimora looking outside while King gorged himself on a surprisingly huge cake, which satisfied her and especially the demon when it arrived, who wasted no time in diving head first into it. "I think it's best if you stay here for the night."
"Huh? It's that late?!" He went wide eyed when he saw the sky was dark.
"Fret not, there's plenty of space here for you to stay the night, and I have extra blankets to stay nice and warm, although we may have to sleep together to make sure neither of us freeze."
"But isn't it the middle of summer?" He asked in confusion.
"Uh...you never know what sort of sudden changes in the weather might happen, better safe than sorry." She said quickly as he looked at her suspiciously.
"Ok…" He said, shaking his head. 'Something seems a bit fishy.'
"Now, I'm afraid there's only one bed, are you ok sharing one?"
"Well it wouldn't be the first time. I've passed out in Eda's hair more times than I can count." He said with a shrug.
"Great! Now come, let's go to sleep.' She said, trying her best to hide how eager she was.
King found himself picked up and carried over to the bed before Kikimora got under the covers, making sure he was covered up before firing a small spell at the lantern, putting the lights out. "Sweet dreams my king~"
"Ok, night." he said, closing his eyes. 'Why'd she carry me? I can walk and climb just fine.'
'Oh great titan this is perfect! His body feels smaller than it looks like this~ Oh I hope I don't have any weird dreams, at least not yet~' She thought as she laid herself down next to him. 'Truly this is the beginning of the best time of my life~'
Slowly the two drifted off to slumber, albeit with King swearing he could hear Kikimora giggle and chuckle oddly.
(Next day)
King blinked as he stared at Kikimora, who was holding him in a death grip. "Uh….Hey, wake up!" He tried to speak up, wiggling a little, but the woman wouldn't stir. "Hey, hey, hey! I'm awake now, which means you should be too."
Unfortunately Kikimora didn't stir.
"Hey, I said wake u-"
"Stop shouting, I heard you the first time." She remarked without opening her eye, surprising him.
"About time, I thought you were gonna sleep all day."
"No need to worry, I was already up. I couldn't sleep a wink."
"Huh? Wait, you've been awake this whole time?!"
"Yes."
"Then why are you strangling me to death?!"
"Oh! Sorry, I didn't mean to squeeze you." She lightened her grip, slightly though. "So, did you have any dreams? Are you nice and warm? Shall I grab the extra blanket?"
"Not really… look, this was uh….something, but I gotta go now." He said as he tried to sit up, only for her to tighten her grip.
'Go? But you haven't even had breakfast yet. You stay right here and I'll get you something extra yum for that little tummy." She smiled while giving his belly a poke before climbing out of bed.
"Thanks, but I think I'll skip breakfast for no-" He started, only for her to turn around. He swore he felt a chill go up his spine as her pupil shrunk.
"I insist. You STAY right here, I won't be long now." She said as he froze, feeling his life flash before his eyes.
"O-ok…"
"Great, be back soooon~" she sang with joy before making her way out of the room with King gulping.
'I need to get out of here, she's nuts!' He thought before looking at the window and ran over to jump out, only to realize the huge drop. 'Ok, I guess I need to leave another way.' He thought as he backed up nervously. He looked at the door and made his way, but when he tried to open it, he found it was stuck. "Huh? Did she lock the door on me?" He muttered as he tried to force it open. He grunted and pushed against it with his feet, but it wouldn't budge. "Why. Won't. You. OPEN?!"
Kikimora seemed to skip down to the kitchen, humming to herself before spotting the chefs. "I'm going to need a large breakfast made up at once. One so big and delicious it would leave one stuffed for say, oh, half a day."
"Yes ma'am, I'll have it prepared shortly, would you like it here or delivered to your room?"
"My room, the sooner the better."
"Ok, I'll have it ready in about half an hour."
"Excellent." she turned and made her way out while rubbing her hands. 'That gives me enough time for morning pet rubs~' As she neared her room however, she could hear banging against the door, making her frown.
"Hey! Open up! The king of demons commands it! I shall not be held prisoner!"
'Crap, he figured it out.' She thought, quickly throwing open the door to see King frozen mid bang as he realized he was now face to face with his captor.
"Oh! Uh...hey there." he quickly greeted casually with a smile.
"Why were you banging on the door?"
"Who? Me? I wasn't banging, I was just….working up my knocking arm, it's been feeling tired." He fibbed with a nervous chuckle.
"Really? Then why were you calling out that you were being held prisoner?"
"Uhhh…." He said nervously as her eye narrowed. "Allergies!"
"Allergies?"
"Yeah, allergies. Goes nuts around this time of year, makes me go yelling off who knows what."
"I see." She said deceptively calm. "So you're sick then, is that right?"
"Y-Yeah, Yeah! I should just go home until I feel better!" he moved to casually walk out. "It's been fun, but I wouldn't want you-"
"In that case, you better stay here so I can help." she cut him off while putting a hand on his shoulder firmly. "I'd hate to let an adorable thing like you get sick out there."
"R-Really, I should get back, I'm sick and Eda is probably worried sick so….bye!" he let out before bolting, making her clench her hands.
"You get back here this instance!" She snapped as she chased off after him. "I said stop, I command it!"
King panicked as he ran, feeling his blood pumping as he tried to focus on ahead and not turn around, bolting past two coven guards who nearly fell over.
"Hey! Who let a cat in here?"
"Looked more like some raccoon with a helmet on its head."
"I'm a demon!" He snapped, turning his head to them only to pale as he saw what they were wearing. "AAAAGGGHHH!"
"Don't let him escape you fools!" Kikimora snapped. "Catch him, NOW!"
"Gah! Yes ma'am!"
"Don't catch me! Don't catch me!" King let out, running on all fours as he took random turn after random turn with them firing spells.
"Don't use spells you dolts!" Kikimora snapped. "Don't you dare harm a hair on his head!"
"Sorry!"
"If he thinks he can escape me, he has another thing coming." Kikimora reached into her pocket and pulled out a whistle, quickly blowing it as King spotted the main doors up ahead.
"Yes, freedom!" He cried, running as fast as he could. But right as he got close enough, they slammed open, making him go wide eyed at seeing what looked like a dragon made out of hands and fingers. "GAAAAAAAHHHHH! Monster!"
"Freeze!" called the coven members as they and Kikimora caught up with the dragon flicking it's tongue out and looking at King who swore it looked hungry.
"Now running away wasn't a nice thing to do. You even made me have to call my steed just to keep you from escaping." Kikimora said, glaring at King. "Now come along, I'll give you one chance to come back and apologize for running."
"Nyah. Nyah. Nyah." He muttered, looking between them and the dragon, trapped no matter which he picked. 'Either a crazy dragon or dealing with the crazy lady, either way I lose!'
"Miss Kikimora, should we tie it up?"
"Yes, if he resists, tie him up, after that I'll take it from here."
The coven guards formed ropes from their magic that shot out and tied King up, making him fall on his side with a defeated sigh.
"Damn it…"
"Good, now leave us, I can take it from here." Kikimora said as she began to approach King. She made sure the members turn and left, making her look at King with a narrow eye. "That was a naughty thing to do my king."
"What is going on, that was the emperor's coven, are you part of it too?!"
"It would seem the cat's out of the bag. I'm not just part of it, but I also help spread the personal orders of Emperor Belos himself."
"What?! Wait, was this whole thing just a trap to get Eda here?!"
"Of course not. It was a mere coincidence you happened to know the Owl Lady, but I brought you here for YOU. And if I happen to learn some important weaknesses, it works out too. For the emperor and myself." She said, chuckling deviously. "But now that you know the truth, I'll have to take some precautions to make sure you don't run away from me again my king~"
"I don't like the sound of that." he muttered before Kikimora picked him up, giving him a tight hug while rubbing her head against his own as she carried him back to her room.
(Later)
"Ugh, well that was a disaster." Lilith muttered to herself, her hair full of twigs and leaves. "This is perfect, first Eda lost her stupid pet and blamed me, and now I have to report to Kikimora of all people." she tried to get the stuff out of her hair, already dreading the condescending tone the midget would give her. 'Well, I might as well get this over with, maybe I'll get lucky and I can just report it to her in her room so no one else will hear this….event.'
After getting cleaned up, she eventually reached the door and moved to knock, but heard sounds inside that sounded off.
"Relax you, this one would look ADORABLE on your whittle skull~"
"Don't you dare put that on me, you can't treat the king of demons like this!"
"Ohhh I love it when you say that! Now say it while wearing this dress, I need to take a picture."
'What is going on in there?' Lilith thought as she reached out to open the door. She heard a crash and grunts, making her raise an eyebrow before knocking.
"Kikimora? I'm coming in, I need to report to yo-"
"NO, DON'T COME IN!"
"COME IN, HELP!"
"What is g...oing….on…." Lilith trailed off, looking at Kikimora holding a silly outfit, while strapped to a chair was her sister's pet with a blue bow on his head and a silly looking dress of the same color. All three just stared at each other, none daring to move a muscle….until Lilith snorted as she began to buckle over laughing.
"S-Silence Lilith!" Kikimora ordered pointing at her. "This is not what it looks like! This is just...interrogation! For this prisoner I found!"
"Send help! She's making me wear weird outfits! I don't look good in blue!" King cried out, struggling to get free as Lilith just kept laughing, looking around the room, though that just made her laugh harder.
"W-W-What is all this?!" she laughed, holding her stomach seeing the girly room that made Kikimora's face look more red than before. "I-I-I had no idea your tastes were so...so…"
"Don't finish that!"
"Silly! BAHAHAHAHAHAH!" she fell back, tears coming up from how hard she was letting out.
"S-Stop it, stop laughing this instant!" Kikimora ordered, her body practically shaking in rage and embarrassment.
"Lilith, help!" King let out, rocking the chair and fell on his side with a grunt. "I'm being held against my will!"
Lilith laughed as she glanced at King once more. "Y-You've been kidnapping demons to play dress up? Oh this is rich! Oh this is hilarious, the great, proud Kikimora, so strict i-is playing dress up!" She laughed, grasping her sides. "Oh my word, wait until the entire coven hears about this!"
"No, you can't!" Kikimora cried out. She could see it now, everyone laughing, no one would ever take her serious again, even the emperor might start questioning her ability to lead, she could lose everything!
"Oh can't I?" Lilith smirked, pulling her scroll out with a chuckle. "The way I see it, I can do whatever I want, so really the true question is, what are you willing to do to keep me from telling everyone?"
"Are you blackmailing your superior?" she glared at the taller witch.
"I wonder if you'll keep that position when word spreads. After all, who would listen to the orders of someone who has enough plush toys to make a child green with envy?"
"W-What I do in private is my business and no one else's!" Kikimora argued.
"Really? Are you sure everyone would agree with that?"
"Lilith, help! Get her to let me go!"
"Please Lilith, if word gets out, I'll be ruined!" Kikimora dropped to her knees and held her hands together. "Please, for the love of the titan and the emperor, PLEASE, I'll do anything."
"Anything?" Lilith said, rubbing her chin as she let out a chuckle. "Well, I like the sound of that."
"Still stuck here." King let out.
"Yes yes, I know." Lilith said as she let out a sigh. 'You owe me for this Eda.' she looked at Kikimora. "First of all, you will untie the demon."
"What?" She said quietly, paling as Lilith nodded.
"Untie him, then, you will let him go."
"What?! I can't! Look at him! He's the most adorable thing in all the isles! And his fur is amazing to cuddle with and scratch!" She protested, hugging King. "Please, name anything else, just don't take my King!"
"Take me, take me please!"
"Kikimora, release the demon and let him go back to Eda, or I'll show everyone this." She said as she turned her scroll around to show a picture of Kikmora cuddling King.
Her eyes widened, even the one under her hair, making her shake, closing them, before slowly pulling away from King. "F...F….Fine."
"Good." Lilith said, nodding as she held her staff out, shooting a light that cut off King's ropes.
"Freedom!" he cheered, jumping up and pumping his claws before darting out of the room. "See ya later!"
"I wonder when he'll realize he still has the dress on?" Lilith mused to herself.
"My King….my sweet sweet king….gone." Muttered Kikimora.
"Oh stop being dramatic, you knew him for what, a day? He's just a demon, I'm sure you can find another."
"There is no other demon like him! He was perfect…" She muttered falling on her side before hugging her knees.
"Look, just don't kidnap him again anytime soon." Lilith said before turning to leave. 'I suppose he was a bit cute though.'
"I'm free! Free! Freeeeeee!" King kept repeating as he ran back home, still not realizing he still had the dress and bow on. "Eda, Edaaaaa!"

"Ahhh, now this is the life." sighed King, stretching out on the couch with a smile, Luz brushing his coat beside him with a smile.
"Gotta say, you look much better like this than with a dress, even if it did look cute." she smiled before he gave her a deadpan look.
"I thought we agreed never to bring that up?"
"We never did, you shouted at us to never speak of it again while Eda laughed until she passed out." Luz chuckled.
"No laughing! It was mortifying." He grumbled.
"Aw come on King, you made it look good, but the bow may have been much."
"Ugh, it was awful Luz, that crazy lady was going to keep me prisoner forever! I'm just glad it's all over now."
"And next time we'll go with you when you wanna go out through the town. No sense taking another chance." Luz said, shaking her head. "Who knows when that woman might try to kidnap you again."
"She's probably found some other poor sap to smother all over without restraint." He said with a shrug. "She probably forgot all about me by now."
The camera panned away from the house and over to the nearby forest, where said woman was staring at it with a chuckle.
"Oh my precious King, soon I will have you again and we'll be together forever~" She chuckled. "Just as soon as I find a way past that creepy owl."
"Hoot hoot, did you call?"
"GAH!"
