"Help, help! Everything is on fire!"
"Mwahahahaha!" Laughed a woman in the street, flames burning the surrounding villains while cars and street lamps melted from the heat, along with the magma that was coming from her long black hair that turned orange midway as it touched the pavement. "That's right, flee you cowards!" She laughed, willing the magma to melt a nearby car. "Your end is here, for Magmarita has decided to come to town!"
"W-Wasn't your name Lady lava?!" called one scared citizen hiding in a trashcan.
"I changed it!" she yelled, sending a fireball that blew the can in the air and the man who screamed in the distance. She blew the smoke from her fingers away and smirked, while it was shown that she was a spicy site, pun not intended. She wore a gold choker around her neck, two large gold earrings, blush on her cheeks with red lipstick, and blue eyeshadow. Her clothes consisted of a white top that left her stomach and arms exposed, a matching sash-like bottom with a red mayan beast on the front, tattoos going around her thighs each, along with her biceps, orange nails, gold armbands, with black high heeled boots with a red accent on the top of them.
"Won't anyone save us?!"
"I will, for I am EL TIGRE!" Came a loud cry as the young tiger themed hero landed on the pavement, striking a pose, only to perk up when he felt something burning and looked down, only to jump when he saw his boots were burning and started hopping on them. "Aie! Hot hot hot hot!"
"Awww, look who decided to show up. The little kitty cat." Mocked the villainess as El Tigre tried blowing the smoke coming off his boots away.
"Just a sec!" he looked around, jumping over to the side, using his claws to tear the top of a fire hydrant off before using the water on his feet, sighing in relief. "Ahhh, much better."
"Go home little kitty cat, you're not ready for the big leagues yet." Magmarita gloated smugly.
"Oh yeah? Shows what you know." He threw back with a smirk before looking confused. "Uh…."
"Magmarita."
"Right! I knew that. Wait, didn't I see you at the big supervillain race last month?" He asked with her groaning and facepalmed.
"Yes, I only showed up because I owed Voltura a favor."
"Huh, I completely forgot." he remarked bluntly, making her glare before he brandished his claws. "No matter, I'm still gonna kick your butt!"
"Please, you have a long way to go before you can touch something so great, but I'll gladly give you some scars to remember me by!" She roared as she sent a plume of magma at him.
He sent his grappling claw off to pull him away as the magma hit the spot, before he swung himself right at her with a battle cry, making her smirk as she snapped her fingers, causing her magma hair to swerve over and stretch up into a wall. El Tigre gasped as he shot his claw at the ground to anchor himself before he could hit it, and used the momentum to swing away as she sent the wall crashing down on where he would have been, melting the pavement. "Ha! Missed me!"
"Oh really now?" she raised an eyebrow before sweeping her arm, sending an arc of flames, making El Tigre go wide eyed and got sent flying backwards, crashing right into a nearby taco truck.
"Ow ow ow ow!" He let out, patting the flames on his costume off, sighing in relief before hearing something sizzle, making him turn to see a fire was on his tail tip, and it had lit the stem of a pepper, in a box of them, with said box having a label on it that read 'TNT Peppers! Guaranteed to explode with flavor'. "Oh come on!" He cried as he moved to jump out of the truck, before getting an idea. Using his claw he grabbed the box and fling it in the direction of Magmarita.
"Hahahaha! Oh that was too easy." She chuckled with her eyes closed, but when she opened them she saw the box coming her way, with the peppers flying out from the toss, each of their stems now sizzling. "Oh Puta." She cursed, right as they hit her and went off, exploding in a ball of fire and spicy salsa.
El Tigre smirked smugly as said woman was standing, but now looking frazzled and covered in pepper remains. "You like it hot? Well I hope that was spicy enough for you."
"You little brat." She cursed, fuming. "This outfit costs more than you do! Luckily I see a nice tigre print replacement just waiting to be skinned!" She roared as she raced towards him. She sent several globs of Magma flying towards him which he dodged with ease.
"Oh please, I've seen better villains actually hit s-OOOH!" he was cut off when her boot was covered in magma before getting decked in the cheek with it and went flying through a store, leaving behind an imprint of himself, with a boot imprint on his cheek with it smoking.
"Just give up, little kitty cat, you can't beat me!" She chuckled smugly as she slowly followed his trail of destruction into the store. "I'm stronger than you, older than you, and I look damn good while doing it too." she remarked while tossing some of her hair over her shoulder while El Tigre shook himself to snap out of the daze. "What do you have that could possibly beat me?"
"I….I have a uh…." he said as he looked around the store before his eyes widened and he grinned. "I have an automatic sprinkler system!"
"Huh?" she let out, right before the heat coming from her hair reached the sprinklers above them, causing them to go off, spraying both with water. "Hey! I just got my hair done!" she yelled, steam coming off her with each drop. She growled as she tried to shoot globs of magma at the sprinklers, only for her eyes to widen as she saw the magma start to cool and harden.
"Not feeling so hot now, are we?" smirked El Tigre as she turned, before she was sent flying back from a right hook to the gut. She groaned in pain as El Tigre rushed in, laying in the punches as fast as he could as her magma kept hardening, weighing her down as the end of her hair began to turn to stone.
After a few more minutes, the woman was dazed and battered, El Tigre walking out of the store dusting his hands off. "Well, that was pretty easy Magmarita, better luck next time!" he teased with a grin.
Said woman groaned in pain as Manny transformed himself back, with the super villain trying to sit up, but due to the change to her hair, and the bruises, that wasn't easy. "How….how did I lose to a child?" She muttered to herself. "That's never happened before….it SHOULDN'T have happened."
Manny just smirked as he walked away, leaving her to stew in her own defeat. And right at that moment Frida came running over, stopping, before gasping.
"Dude...never time….take me...with you….before you go running ahead of me!"
"Sorry Frida, I guess I forgot this time." he chuckled sheepishly. "I beat the villain though!"
"Awesome! Let's get some churros to celebrate."
"Yeah!" he said as they walked off, unaware of the thin cracks of heat appearing on Magmarita's hardened hair.
"I...will have...revenge!" She muttered darkly as she watched Manny leave. "It...will….be….mine!"
(Later)
Magmarita hummed, currently in the middle of drying off after a shower to calm her down, in what looked like an Aztec themed room with gold all around. She sat down in front of her gold mirror, showing off her reflection perfectly, and sighed as her hair was back to proper heat. "Better, nothing like a lava shower to make a girl feel like a million Pesos~"
After admiring her reflection, she thought back to her defeat, frowning since it felt like a huge jab to her pride as a villain. "I can't believe a little boy got the better of me, damn it…" She muttered, making her way over to a door that led out to a small balcony. "The only thing that would make this worse is if word got out, thank god it was just the two of us there." She muttered, looking out over the city, which was as peaceful as usual...meaning there were at least three villains attacking various parts of said city. "I won't let this go. That lousy brat will burn for embarrassing me." she growled while flames came from her hands.
She inhaled and started to pace back and forth. "But if I want revenge, I need to think about it. If I charge in blindly and do something some second rate thug would try, that won't help my reputation at all." She muttered as she rubbed her chin. "I need a good plan, one that no one has tried yet..."
As she pondered on that, far away in his lair, Dr. Chipotle Sr. cackled with glee as he looked at a huge laser aimed at the roof. "MWAHAHAHA! Finally, it's finished! With this ray, I'll turn back time and turn those rusted old husks in town hall into nothing but babies, tiny pathetic babies!"
"Father! The movie is coming on!"
"Ah! Good call, coming!" He called, turning around with a grin, unknowingly bumping the massive ray with his giant metal arm. As he left the room, the ray's tip started to power up, but without any real coordinates set, the machine went ahead and fired a beam in the general direction, leading to a blast going right through the rooftop, and over the city. The beam flew out over the buildings, narrowly missing random objects, until it finally hit something, that being the villainess Magmarita.
"AHHH!" She screamed as soon it hit her, making her go flying backwards into her room, making her spasm on the ground as her whole body felt like it was being twisted like dough. She cried out in pain one last time before she fell unconscious.
(Later)
"Ugh….what was that?" Groaned the villain, staring up at her ceiling as she slowly started to come to. "Everything feels sore…" She groaned as she sat up, only to realize something was off. "Wha- why is everything bigger?"
She moved to rub her eye, but noted the sleeve of her bathrobe was dangling off her, now looking too big. "What th-" She said, before realizing that her voice now had a higher pitch. "What the hell?!" She covered her mouth, rolling on her side and registered the robe really was too big for her all over. She raced to the bathroom, almost tripping on her robe as she made her way to the mirror. As soon as she saw herself, her jaw dropped and swore she heard glass shatter in the background.
The figure she saw in the mirror was a child, a grade schooler. "N-No…." She saw her hair was shorter, reaching a little past her neck, and the end looking more red than orange, giving off much less heat than it should. "T-This can't be happening, it can't be!" She cried out as she began to panic. How could this have happened, how could she suddenly be a child?! She couldn't be any older than that brat El Tigr-. Suddenly she froze as an idea came to her. "Wait...Wait a second….wait a SECOND! THAT'S IT!" She laughed out in victory. "I got it! I CAN BEAT HIM LIKE THIS!"
With that she went to run to her wardrobe, but tripped over the bathrobe. "Gah! Stupid robe!"
(Later)
'Ok, this is the tenth school I've checked, I've evaded six truancy officers, he better be here!' Thought Magmarita who was hiding in an alley. 'Nobody would think of getting rid of him while he's at school, let alone pretending to be the same age as him. As soon as I see him, I can get rid of him before he sees what happens!' She thought, barely holding in a cackle. 'Prepare to die El Tigre!'
With that she made her way towards the school, currently wearing a white dress with the skirt going past her knees, a red sash wrapped around her waist, and having replaced her arm bands with gold bracelets. 'Ok, just act like you belong and wait to find the little pendejo gato.'
She walked inside, making sure nobody stared as she headed down the hall, looking around while off to an opposite hall, Manny and Frida were trying to stuff a barrel of tacos in his locker.
"Ugh, remind me again why we're hiding these in MY locker again?"
"Because you lost the coin toss, duh." She rolled her eyes while pushing. "Besides, if I try bringing them in right after school, the dogs will jump me. This way we got our own private snack storage."
"Ok, sounds good to me, but this better not leak any taco juice on my stuff."
"I don't get why you're complaining, when I get sugar from some churros on my own, I call that a win in my book." Frida said as Magmarita turned the corner of the hall and spotted them.
'Yes! I knew this plan would work!' She grinned as the two got the door shut and began to make their way away from her. "Oh no you don't. You aren't getting away from me that easily." She snapped. "I've found you!" She declared, jumping out from her spot, making Manny and Frida turn around.
"Uh...it was him!" Frida let out pointing to Manny.
"Gee, thanks Frida." remarked the boy with a deadpan expression.
"Do you have any idea how long it took me to find you?" Magmarita declared as she stalked towards him.
"I dunno, who are you again?" He asked, making her glare and feel steamed up.
"You should know damn well who I am!" She growled before her hair erupted into flames.
"Whoa! Fire! Fire!" Cried Frida before the girl threw a ball of lava which melted the locker beside them.
"Yes, yes! Tremble in fear boy!" laughed the girl throwing another one which Manny dodged before standing up.
"Alright, you asked for it!" he spun his buckle and transformed before lunging and tackled her.
"I will burn your alive El Tigre!" She yelled out and tried to grab him, but was propelled back due to his claw and chain, and slammed into a locker. "You think this cheap metal will hold me?!" she yelled before she grabbed the hand and started heating it up, making him yelp and reel the chain back and blow at his glowing red hand.
"Hot hot hot hot hot!"
"Yes! You cannot stop me, for I am the hottest being to ever exist!" She laughed while not seeing Frida sneaking up behind her with a bucket of water.
"Get dunked!" She cried as she slammed the bucket over her head.
The girl yelped when the water hit her and the bucket covered her face, but frowned and dropped her arms, turning to a smug Frida. "Did you just try to douse me with water?"
"Try? I Did!" she spoke before the bucket melted away with the girl glaring at her making the girl chuckle nervously. "Uh...gotcha?"
"Let's see your precious bucket put THIS out!" She shouted, only to get blasted in the face by a fire extinguisher.
"Then try this baby on for size!" Manny called as she sputtered and tried to hold her hands up.
"Oh you two are REALLY making me mad!" She growled as she tried to start another fire, only for nothing to happen. She blinked as Manny stopped spraying her and tried to ignite, but all she got was extinguished flames. "W-what?! No! Not again!"
"That oughta put you out for a while." he smirked while tossing it away.
"Ooooh you little brat!" She growled as she started to feel her hair stiffen up, though not feel as heavy as last time.
"Brat? You're the same age as us weirdo." Manny said as he looked at her in confusion.
"I am far older than I look." she huffed, crossing her arms.
"Liar, if anything I bet I'm a year older than you!" Manny said as he shook his head.
"Ha! I'm old enough to not only drive, but get into any club I want!" She argued, trying not to pout.
"Liar!" declared Frida. "Unless you got a convincing fake ID, I doubt it, and trust me, I tried to make one, didn't work out so well."
"Oooh, even your girlfriend is as infuriating as you!" she snapped in anger, making Manny and Frida look at each other before fake gagging.
"Ugh, gross, no way, we're just friends!"
"That's what they all say, now fry!" She held her hands out, but not even a spark came out, making her fume even more and stamp her feet on the ground. "You little brat! Once I get my powers back you'll pay!"
"No, I think you'll be the one paying young lady. You and your two friends." Called a voice behind them, making them turn to see principal Tonino.
"Oh! No no no, this is a huge misunderstanding." smiled Manny nervously.
"Now don't act coy with me Manny, I saw the whole thing. You three shouldn't be rough housing in the halls, especially when you have class to get to." He said as he shook his head. "I'm sorry, but you all have detention."
"Oh come on! I just got done with parole!" Groaned Frida, throwing her hands up.
"I'm sorry, but I have a no tolerance policy to uphold, meet in the usual room after school."
"Not happening." Frowned Magmarita crossing her arms while turning her head. "I'm far too old to get detention, especially around HIM." She glared at Manny who returned it.
"You started it!"
"Children, enough, no one is above detention, now get to class, NOW." he commanded firmly, making Frida and Manny groan before walking off while Magmarita kept to her spot. "Young lady, that includes you."
"Look here buster, I don't even go here, so you can't tell me what to do." She smirked smugly.
"Then what school DO you go to?" He asked as she smirked.
"I don't go to any school!" She laughed as he narrowed his eyes.
"Wrong answer, young lady."
"Oh yeah?" She asked with a frown. "What are you going to do, I'm a legal adult."
"We'll just see about that." he picked her up by the back of her dress and started carrying her. "Until we find out where you came from, you will abide by our rules, and I say you are going into detention with Manny and Frida."
"Wha- no! Let me go, you'll pay for this when I'm back to my real age!" She snapped, only to freeze. 'Wait...CAN I change back?'
(Later)
Manny, Frida, and Magmarita sat in detention in silence, albeit with the actual adult grumbling to herself.
'I can't believe that idiot actually got me enrolled in this school!'
"Dude, wanna try and ditch?" Frida whispered to Manny.
"Heck yeah!" he whispered with a grin.
"You two try it and I snitch." whispered Magmarita with a frown.
"What?! Why?" Frida hissed angrily.
"Because I want you two to suffer." She smirked crossing her arms.
"What for? We didn't do anything to you." Frowned Manny. "You just up and attacked us for no good reason."
"Oh no, I have PLENTY of reasons to want to see you burn into asses little kitty cat." She chuckled, making Manny freeze.
"Wait….say that again." he said as the dots began to connect.
"Little Kitty Cat." She smirked.
Manny looked up in thought as a bubble came up. The nickname, the familiar powers, and the memory of what happened yesterday made a light bulb go off, making his eyes widen. "No way! You're….Lava Lady!"
"MAGMARITA! Not Lava Lady! I had it legally changed!" She shouted angrily, only to get a piece of chalk thrown at her head from the front.
"No shouting!"
She growled, rubbing the spot while Manny stared at her like a fish with Frida completely lost.
"How… how are you so young? You were an old woman yesterday!" He asked in shock as she glared at him.
"Hey, I wasn't that old!" she hissed. "I was a smokin' hot number you WISH would give you the time of day."
"But how exactly are you young now?!"
"Well, I can assure you it was a very complicated and expensive process, one that you can't begin to understand." She remarked turning her head with Frida raising an eyebrow.
"That is the biggest load of bologna I've heard." She said as she shook her head. "Let me guess, you got hit by a random beam?" She asked as Magmarita looked at her in shock.
"How did you know that?!"
"It's happened to my family three times."
"Trust me, you don't wanna know." Manny shook his head.
"Well… I'm also stuck like this, and I just know it's your fault El Tigre!"
"Manny."
"Huh?"
"It's Manny. Just call me Manny when I'm not in the suit." He said as she rolled her eyes.
"Fine, MANNY, I'm still going to burn you alive when I get out of he-ow!" She shouted as she, Manny and Frida felt chalk hit them again.
"I SAID NO SHOUTING!" Snapped the teacher as all three grumbled.
'After I kill Manny, this bitch is next!'
"This chick is nutsy cuckoo." Frida whispered.
"Yeah." Manny whispered back. Suddenly the door opened up and the principal walked in, along with Rodolfo. "Dad?! Look, in my defense, the tacos were all Frida's idea!"
"What? No, I'm here about Lava Lady-"
"MAGMARITA!"
"Uh, yes that." he replied, taking a moment to realize she was far different than he remembered. "I'm here to take her and you home."
"WHAT?!" Both cried out with wide eyes. "WHY?!"
"Well, seeing how she has no legal guardian, and technically at this age she hasn't broken any rules she would go to an orphanage or foster home, but seeing how she was a villain, they've asked me to be her guardian until further notice." he explained, both kids having dropped their jaws before Magmarita shook her head.
"Are you kidding me? I have my own home! I'm not going to live under the same roof as a hero, an old bag of dust, and a brat!"
"It's either this or prison." Rodolfo said plainly. "Your choice."
"Oh you insufferable son of a-" She cursed before pausing and taking a deep breath. "Fine, I'll stay with you."
"Dad! That's a terrible idea!" Manny protested. "She wants to kill me!"
"Manny, as a hero you sometimes have to do stuff you won't want to do for the greater good." sighed Rodolfo. "Trust me, it's not easy."
"B-But she's evil."
"And so is your grandfather, your point?"
"..." Manny paused, his mouth open only to sigh. "Fair point."
"Good, now let's go, we need to head home."
"Fine." Manny got up while Magmarita reluctantly did the same.
"See you guys later." Frida called as she got up to leave, only to get pelted with more chalk.
"You staay, you're still in detention!"
(Later)
"So, welcome to your temporary home, I guess." Manny said with a shrug as he gestured to his room. "I guess we'll be roommates for now."
"This place reeks." she grimaced while covering her nose. "It smells like a petting zoo in here."
"Hey! There's only a few animals here, and most of them are pets too!" He retorted while Little Mule poked his head out from under the sheets before climbing out and walked past them, leaving a trail of dirt on the floor making Magmarita raise an eyebrow with Manny looking away with a chuckle. "Uh, I'll clean that up later."
"The mess or the donkey?"
"The mess, Little Mule is family!" Manny shouted in horror.
"Ugh, idiot."
"Hey! If you're gonna stay here, it's better to get used to it. Besides, this is what home feels like." he smirked while jumping on the bed, only to yelp when Senor Chapi popped up from under his bed and pecked him. "Ow! Ow! Ow! Hey! Stop that!"
"¡Viva Pantalones!" he let out with a glare before flying out of the room.
"...I've died, I've died and gone to hell, haven't I?" She groaned facepalming to herself.
"Eh, don't be such a drama queen." Manny said as he shook his head. "Maybe this won't be so bad, it's not like it can get much worse for you, can it?"
"No, but it can for YOU." She smirked with her hands glowing before the door slammed open, making her put them behind her back as Puma came in.
"Ah, you must be our new house guest, yes?"
"Yes, I am….wait, are you… Puma Loco?"
"Yes, the one and only. Why? I'll have you know if something happened, I have an alibi! You can't prove nothing!" he spoke up quickly with a raised finger.
"No, no, I'm a fan, I thought you were dead!"
"Oh! In that case, I am very much alive." he smirked with pride.
"Grandpapi, she's a villain." Manny remarked.
"What? This little one? Manny, I might be old, but even I can tell a harmless child from a villain."
"No, it's true, apparently she was an old hag called Lady Lava a few days ago." Manny said as Magmarita's eye twitched in anger.
"IT'S MAGMARITA YOU LITTLE BRAT! I'LL FLAMBE YOU ALIVE!" She roared as her hands lit up and she launched herself at Manny.
"See! I told you!" He cried before jumping away as the girl touched the covers, making them catch on fire before she took off after him.
"Oh, I see what you see." remarked Puma in surprise while rubbing his chin. "Hmm, but last I saw her, she was a grown woman."
"She got young somehow! And she's nutso cuckoo!" He cried out as he dodged another blast of fire that scorched the wall it hit. "She's dedicated to hunt me down the second she got young, she's nutso!"
"I did it because I needed to destroy you, you did this to me!"
"Don't look at me! You started it!"
"Got young huh?" Puma looked intrigued. "You mean to say, you have a way to become much more younger? You uh, wouldn't happen to tell an old man what your secret is, would you?"
"I don't know how it happened, I was on my balcony when suddenly this beam of light hit me and boom, I was younger!" She roared as she kept chasing after Manny.
"I see. Well, excuse me, but I have a couple of old friends to check up on to see if they've been busy recently, adios lovebirds!" He waved before bolting, making Manny skid to a stop and let out a dry heave.
"Grandpapi! That's gross!"
"I got you know Gato Puto!" Magmarita roared as she tackled Manny. This made them roll on the floor with her holding her hand up, which was glowing, with her smirking. "I'm going to turn you into a crispy gato!"
"Oh no you don't!" He cried as he twisted, catching her off balance and throwing her off of him before he jumped on her and pushed her arms down, pinning her. "Ha! Try burning me up now!"
"Get off of me!" She shouted, trying to get him off, with no success. 'Damn this tiny body!'
"You give up now?" Manny asked with a smirk.
"No, I'll never give up, I will not be beaten by you again!" She roared as she struggled, but nothing changed.
"Come on, just say you lost, this is getting boring." He remarked, letting out a yawn which made her scowl.
"You arrogant little s-"
"Excuse me you two, how are you settling….in?" Rodolfo entered the room, but looked at the scene with surprise and confusion. "...Manny, what are you two doing in here?! Get off of her, and come with me, you too Magmarita!"
His son did so quickly with his hands up. "Dad! I can explain, see she was trying to burn me, so I-"
"Now!" He shouted.
"Dad, really, it's not what you thi-"
"Manny, the room is on fire! We can talk about what you two were doing later!" He pointed to the burning bed, making his son jump. "Now come with me!"
"Agh! Right, I forgot about that!" He cried as they ran out of the room.
(Later)
"Alright, now that we've dealt with the fire, we need to be clear on a few rules." Rondolfo sighed, his white suit looking singed. "First rule, no fire powers in the house."
"This feels unfair." Magmarita muttered sullenly.
"Second rule, no attempting to annihilate my son, nor committing any villainous deeds."
"What?!" Magmariata shouted as Manny laughed.
"Ha! Take that lava lady!"
"I will ROAST your churro you little-!"
"Easy now, it's the same I tell Manny, because if he DOES commit any crimes, he's grounded."
Manny shut up at the reminder.
"Third, until you start growing, or turning back to normal, you will attend school like Manny to try and get an education."
"Ugh, this is ridiculous…" She muttered in anger as Manny kept snickering.
"Now for the fourth rule, Manny, you won't antagonize our guest, understood?"
"What? Come on dad! She started all this, I have a good reason to get on her case."
"And will you be the one paying for the repair bill every time a fire starts?" He crossed his arms with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, uh…."
"Exactly. It takes two to tango, and I know she won't follow the other rules if you keep egging her on in an attempt to annoy her."
"Ha!" she laughed at Manny who gave her a glare.
"I want both of you to at least tolerate one another, at least until she's back to normal, then you will be free to fight as heroes and villains do." He smiled with Manny groaning.
"Fine, but I got my eye on her."
"Perv." She huffed as Manny blushed.
"You know that's not what I meant!"
"Really? I knew plenty of boys your age, talk to a pretty girl one time and they'd freeze up and have a dopey grin on their face."
"Actually that kinda sounds like my dad."
"What? I am NOTHING like that." He huffed right as Puma walked over.
"Rodolfo? Maria call, says she's coming over for a visit?"
"M-Maria?!" He cried out, his face heating up.
"See, told you."
"Of course." Magmarita rolled her eyes and facepalmed. 'Great, I'm stuck here with this little shit, this can't possibly get worse.'

Magmarita grumbled, trying to get comfy in the bed, which she was sharing with Manny, both of them facing away from the other and trying to get more blanket over her, but Manny was gripping it tight as he slept. 'I'd rather sleep on the couch than share this bed, but that stupid donkey is stubborn!' She thought in annoyance as tugged at the blanket. "Give it Gato."
"Mmm...no….my churro…." He grumbled before letting out a snore.
'Idiot. How did my life end up like this, forcing me to share a bed with a kid?' She thought before tugging harder, making Manny groan to himself as she got some more, but he tried pulling it back. 'If I could roast him like a turkey I would!'
"Give it….it's mine…" he groaned as she sighed.
'Maybe a little power couldn't hurt.' she thought with a smirk before moving her hand down near his bum and started to bring out some heat, which Manny noticed and sniffed in his sleep.
"Mmmm, warm churros….really warm….hot….hot…..HOT!" He woke up, jumping out of bed and yelped while she tugged the blanket over herself and stopped her power, closing her eyes and pretending to be asleep as Manny noticed the back of his underwear glowing red. "Gah! Dang it Magmarita! Why'd you do that?!"
"Zzzzz….."
He narrowed his eyes, moving around to face her. "Hey, I know you almost burned my butt off."
"Zzzzz….." She fake snored, rolling over so the blankets were even more wrapped around herself.
"You…" He grumbled, annoyed. 'I know she did it, she even stole the blanket!' He tried poking her on the side. "You can't fool me, I know when someone's pretend sleeping, I've done it plenty of times."
"ZZZZZZZ!"
"Dang it…" He grumbled before getting an idea. "Well, if she's asleep then I guess she won't mind me cuddling up to stay warm, will she? She is a big ball of heat and hot air after all"
'Hot air?! Oh why you annoying little-wait, did he just say cuddle?' She thought as Manny got in the bed and wrapped himself around the cocoon of blankets.
"Ahh, much better." he closed his eyes with a smug smirk, making the girl inwardly growl.
'Oooh, if I wake up he'll know I did, but letting him cuddle up with me is just...degrading! I'll get you back for this gato.' She thought in annoyance.
(Later)
"Hey Manny, hey uh… Lava girl, right?"
"Magmarita! If you call me that again, daughter of the chief police or not, then you'll find out what it feels to take a bath in a volcano." warned the villainess with her hand up.
"Touch me and you go to prison, remember LAVA GIRL" Frida said with a smirk.
Magmarita scowled, shaking with steam rising from her head.
"Hey, if I brought marshmallows, does this mean we could use you to help toast them?" snickered Frida, only making the other girl clench her hands with smoke rising from them. "Oh! Maybe I could bring crackers and chocolate next to make smores."
"I don't want to go to prison, I don't want to go to prison." Magmarita chanted to herself, trying to control her rage.
"Oh! Hey Manny, can you bring a skillet and some eggs tomorrow?"
"THAT'S IT!" She yelled, lunging at Frida before Manny grabbed her from behind and had to hold her back. "I'LL TURN YOU EXTRA CRISPY YOU LITTLE BRAT!"
"Magmarita, no, no, just calm down!" He cried as she struggled. "Dad said he'd ground us both if you got into a fight today!" He turned to Frida. "Frida! Don't give her a reason to lose it!"
"But it's so easy!" She groaned. "Plus she tried to kill us yesterday!"
"Yeah, but do you really wanna see what she can do when she's real angry? She can erupt at the drop of a hat, trust me." he winced. "She burned most of my room last night."
"I'd do it again, little kitty cat!" She said, smirking.
"Says the girl who nearly burned my butt!"
"I have no idea what you're talking about. You must have had a dream." she smiled innocently.
"Yeah, whatever you say living heat pad." He said with a smirk.
She lightly blushed and glared before hearing the school bell go off. "You two better hurry, unless you like detention."
"Don't leave yourself out, my dad would get just as upset with you if you wound up late."
"In case you forgot, I'm a grown woman. I've dealt with school before, so one little tardy mark won't matter, especially when I end up in my beautiful grown body." she smirked smugly.
"Sure, I don't mind, it'll be nice when you get sent to juvie." Manny said with a smirk.
"Sorry, but I think that'd fit your friend instead." She laughed with Frida glaring. "But I suppose I'll play along and play nice, for now that is."
"Fine, whatever you say, let's just go!" Frida called as they raced inside. They managed to barely get in their desks as the door closed, making her and Manny sigh with Magmarita not looking bothered or worried.
"Good morning class. Today before we start, I would like to introduce our brand new student. Miss….oh! I'm so sorry, what is your name?"
"I am Magma-"
"She likes to be called Lady Lava!" Frida called with a grin.
"Ah, I see, Lady Lava, I understand." The teacher said with a nod as Magmarita glared at Frida.
'That girl is roasted pig by the end of the day!'
(Later)
"Frida? Something tells me that prank you pulled wasn't such a good idea."
"Oh please, how could I pass up the chance?" She waved off, right before a lunch tray with goop flew over and hit her in the face.
"Oops, my bad, I thought I saw some grotesque alien." Smirked Magmarita with her hands on her hips, the tray falling off with Frida glaring at her through the goop. "Oh my bad, it's just you."
"You little shit!" Frida roared as she grabbed the goop from her face and threw it at the deaged villain.
The girl casually stepped to the side while yawning into her hand. "Such a language, better not let your papi hear you say that or he might send you away to some military school."
"Jokes on you, I learned it from him! And I already got kicked out of two of those schools!" she stuck out her tongue before Manny rushed in between them.
"Ladies please! Let's try and not let violence control us." he let out before blinking. "Wow, I can't believe I said that, usually I get told that."
"Manny, please, everything I've done was an honest accident." Magmarita said, giving an evil smirk at Frida. "After all, I'm sure your friend here would NEVER intentionally cause issues for someone else for a quick laugh, right?"
"Of course I wouldn't, it's just hard to remember your name, you have so many Lava girl." Frida smirked.
She felt her eye twitch before letting out a laugh. "Oh you think it's so cute, don't you? Well let me tell you something little girl, unlike you, I have real experience in life, and here's a little tip, puberty is going to be hell for you, have fun~"
"Uh, Magmarita, if you don't get fixed back to your real age, aren't you going to have to go through it too?" Manny asked.
"Oh please, like I'll be doing that. I'll either turn back to normal on my own, or find some weird ray gun to turn me back." She waved her hand.
"But if you don't?" Manny asked, making her pause.
"That… won't happen, I am not reliving my life, starting over, and I am not going through puberty again." she shivered with a horrified look. "You hear me? I am NOT dealing with that stuff again."
"Aw come on, you make it sound like some weird horror movie." Frida dismissed.
"Oh I wish it was, I wish it was." She groaned.
"Look, let's just forget it for now and eat some lunch, ok?" Manny cut in, each of their stomachs letting out growls.
"...fine, but this isn't over you blue haired harpy." Magmarita muttered.
"Same you Lava Girl."
'This won't end well.' Manny thought as he watched them move to the lunch line.

Manny tapped his pencil against his head, tongue sticking out, and looking annoyed as he stared down at the piece of paper, Magmarita herself currently applying some red nail polish to her fingers at the table. "Come on...I know this."
"Clearly you don't." She said plainly. "You suck at this."
"Hey! Math is hard! Whoever came up with it probably made it just to be a jerk." he huffed while she rolled her eyes. "Besides, it's not like you're free from it either."
"I already finished it." She said as she rolled her eyes. "It was pathetically easy."
"Wait, you're good at math?"
"Duh, I'm not just a gorgeous face you know." she smirked, throwing her hair over her shoulder.
"Well, can you help me with my homework?"
"Ahahahahaha!" she burst out laughing, throwing her head back before noticing his annoyed expression. "Oh, you were serious?"
"Yes, so will you do it?"
"Well of course!"
"Really?"
"Not." she finished before she resumed her painting. "Do it yourself."
"Oh come on, why won't you help?!"
"Villain, duh." She said as he groaned.
"Come on!" He pestered. "I need to get this done or else I can't go hang out with Frida."
"So?" She asked as he sighed.
"If you help me I'll do something for you?"
"Oh please, what could you do that would be worth my time?"
"Well…. What do you want?"
She smirked and set the brush down. "Well, since you are begging for my help, I suppose it only makes sense you pay for my assistance. You want my help? Then I expect you to handle the chores your father wants me to do. For a month."
"What?! A whole month?!" He cried out in disbelief.
"I've stated my terms, take it or leave it."
"Ugh! A week!"
"Month."
"A week and a half!"
"Month." She said, making him groan.
"UGH! Fine!"
"That's what I thought gato." She said with a smirk. "Now then, let's see your homework."
He pushed it over to her, letting her pick it up and look at him with a raised eyebrow.
"This is basic algebra."
"It;s hard algebra!" He protested.
"Ugh, fine, just do this." She sighed as she pointed at the paper.
(Later)
"For the last time, no, that's now how you get the answer!"
"Hey don't get mad at me, I'm only doing what YOU told me!" He protested.
"Well you did it WRONG!"
"Well maybe you got it wrong! Maybe you don't know what you're doing!"
"I have a high enough IQ to go to college and graduate by the time it takes you to get through your fifth year of this semester!"
"You calling me dumb?!"
"I'm not calling you dumb, I'm stating you're dumb! It's a fact, one that not even I can change!"
Both of them growled at the other, butting heads right as Puma came over with a smile.
"Manny, you finished with your homework?"
"Yeah, I'm going on break." he pulled back and huffed with his back to Magmarita who scoffed and did the same.
"Good! Because I think I know the perfect way to take your mind off it. Why not you and I take a trip to the museum? They have a brand new precious ruby display set up tonight that's just ripe for picking." he chuckled deviously while rubbing his hands together.
"Heck yeah!" They said simultaneously with grins, only to pause and glare at each other.
"Why are you so excited? Granpapi asked ME to come with."
"No, he clearly asked me, a seasoned and experienced villain, not a little kid!"
"Now now children, no need to fight. In fact, this could be a good learning experience for all." he smiled.
"What could I learn from her/him?!" They snapped, still glaring at each other.
"Simple, you can learn how to get together, because I need a distraction."
"Distraction? Ha! With my charms and skills, I could get the jewel on my own." boasted Magmarita with a confident pose.
"As you are now, with your weakened powers?" He countered.
"Stuff it or I'll stuff you!"
"See? You two need to learn how to work together, otherwise we all going to get caught." he muttered before walking away. "Be ready to leave after your father goes to bed, and make sure to keep quiet."
"Ugh, fine, but this better be good." Magmarita muttered in annoyance.
(Later)
"Ok, we're here, now what, what kind of distraction did you have in mind that needed both of us and is supposedly going to teach us 'teamwork'?" Asked El Tigre, the three of them on the museum rooftop with it night out. "I mean we already got here, I could just go in, snatch the ruby, and get back out, no problem."
"Yeah, except one small problem, they got a new security system, they hired the best guards money can buy."
"They can't be that good, given what this city considers for police." remarked the lone girl rolling her eyes.
"That's the thing, they hired people from out of town." He said as they paused. "The thing is, tonight they are having a special event that you two can sneak into."
"What sort of event?"
"Some kind of dance for some school, one for couples…" He trailed off as El Tigre and Magmarita began to walk away. "Hey, where you going?"
"Nope, no way, I see where this is going, I am not going to pretend to be on a date with her!"
"Same, just thinking of it with a brat like him is enough to make my skin crawl."
"Come on you big babies, just get in there and grab the ruby, you just have to pretend!" He said as they kept walking. "Come on! Don't make me tell your father where you two were tonight!"
"Aw but granpapi!" groaned El Tigre.
"No buts Manny."
"Well you certainly aren't going to get me to do it." Magmarita said with a frown.
"Not even if I tell you that I may have a lead to return your age?"
"You what?! Tell me! Tell me now old man!"
"Ah ah ah~" He chuckled. "First you do the job, then you get your reward~"
She glared at the old man with her hands burning up. "Why you no good rotten old-"
"Now now, save the small talk for the date."
"...Fine, let's just get this over with." She muttered as she shook her head.
"Fine, but I don't gotta like it." El Tigre pointed out firmly.
"Please, you should be thankful you get to date me, this is the best you'll ever do, so enjoy it while it lasts Gato."
"I'll try to contain my excitement." he remarked flatly with a deadpan look.
"Good, now both of you get down there and act like you don't hate each other."
Both of them made their way down the side, being mindful not to make a sound while standing at the door were two tall guys that looked like bodybuilders, thick mustaches, and stood there as rigid as statues.
"Ready to see the museum….cutie?" Magmarita said, wrapping her arm around El Tigre's.
"Always...babe." He said, pulling her close. 'Kill me.'
The men just stared at them before taking one step to the side to let them in. They pushed the door open, the kids entering while putting up smiles before dropping them as soon as the door closed. Inside, it shockingly looked just like a romantic dance you'd find on valentine's day.
"Ugh, do we really have to keep this up?" Manny groaned.
"If it means I can get back to my real body, then learn to deal with it." She hissed. "Now shut up and dance."
"Wait, what?" He said as she pointed at a large case that showed a massive ruby on the other side of the dance floor. "Oh, I gotcha now."
"Since you're inexperienced, just follow my lead."
"Hey, who says I can't dance? I took dancing lessons from my mom."
"Please, like a gato like you can dance.' She said, rolling her eyes.
"Then watch me!" He said as he took her and pulled her to the dance floor.
'Well this'll be funny.' She thought, but decided to play along as she put her arms around his neck, his hands on her waist, as the two of them began to slowly move to the beat, trying to match their pace. 'Hmmm, I suppose he at least knows the basics.' She admitted.
'Alright, time to throw that stuck up hot head's socks off!' Thought Manny, leading the two of them with a sway, keeping up with the tempo without tripping over himself or bumping them into any of the other couples. "Now then, ready to take this up a notch? If you can't keep up, that's fine."
"You call that dancing? I once won a salsa dance championship without even trying." She said, narrowing her eyes. "Let's do this!"
With that they both nodded and began to dance, they flowed across the dance floor like they owned it, dipping each other at every opportunity, trying more and more intricate moves in an attempt to one up the other. Soon they began to forget why they came, why they were dancing, all that mattered was winning their private contest, but even that lost meaning as they began to have fun.
This of course getting noticed quickly by the others who stopped to watch, transfixed and impressed by the skill. Before they had realized it they were in the center of the dancing floor, the other dancers creating a ring around them as they watched them move, transfixed.
"I'm impressed, you've got better moves than I'd expect." Remarked Magmarita with a smile.
"Same, you sure do know how to move, I expected you to fall by now." Manny said with a grin, but for once his voice was more playful than bitter.
"I might be younger, but that doesn't mean I'd forget how to dance. If I had my adult body right now, I'd be getting asked to dance by every guy here."
"I doubt any of them would be able to keep up." He chuckled as he carefully tossed her into the air and caught her, earning oohs and aahs from their crowd.
"Probably. Most guys I knew could only stare and drool. Half were lucky if they could try and ask me out without stuttering like fools."
"Ha, you make it sound like I'm the best date you've ever had." he chuckled.
"No, no…" She said, shaking her head before pausing. 'Wait….no, that can't be right, can it?'
"Guess I got a chance to really show off, I don't really get many times to bring them out." He chuckled. "Most girls my age can't dance even close to this."
"What about that girlfriend of yours?"
"Oh come on! I told you before, we're just friends." He groaned. "Besides, the day Frida learns how to dance is the day I start acting just like my dad." He chuckled. "She'd rather learn how to commit a felony than this."
"Hmmmm she would, wouldn't she? Her loss I suppose." she muttered to herself right as the tempo started to pick up faster. "Sounds like the finale's coming, ready to bring it all together?"
"Yeah, let's give them a show they'll never forget!" He said as they began to twirl, moving to the beat as the crowd watched in rapture.
"Go! Go! Go! Go!" they cheered as the couple moved, with Manny dipping and twirling Magmarita as they laughed, moving around their impromptu stage as the end came closer and closer, when Magmarita turned to him and grinned.
"Toss me, as hard as you can." She whispered as he nodded.
"With pleasure." with that, he tightened his arms and gave her a toss up into the air. Magmarita grinned as her hair glowed before she began to send out a shower of sparks, lighting up the room as she began to descend back to the dance floor, the crowd in awe. Manny easily caught her, the crowd stunned and clapping as the music drew to an end. As the music began to end Manny dipped her low and pulled her into a kiss.
As the crowds cheered, Manny and Magmarita's eyes went wide as they realized what just happened. They pulled away, staring at each other, speechless with their faces turning pink.
