Chapter Start
"Master."
"Yes Megu."
"Do you know where we are?"
"No, I have no clue whatsoever."
"So, does that mean we're lost?"
"Yes, that means we are lost."
"Oh, that's not good is it master?"
"No it isn't Megu, no it isn't"
Subaru and Megu have been wandering the halls of the Roswaal Mansion for about an hour now, having absolutely no clue where they are. In that period of time the loli and the lolimancer had been getting to know each other better, not like there was much to know about the 3 day old girl.
"Don't you think it's about time we find our way back to our room master?"
"You're absolutely right Megu, but the thing is I've been having the urge to blow up something since I woke up. Would you mind helping me blow up a few walls?"
Megu's eyes gleamed with excitement, blowing things up was always fun.
"Master, we really shouldn't, but a few walls wouldn't hurt," she said as she transformed into her grenade launcher form.
Any rational person would have thought twice about blowing up an important person's house, but Natsuki Subaru was anything but rational. Especially after his new found love for explosions.
The entire roof on the east side of the manor went up in flames, debris flying everywhere. The mad bomber walked out, wearing a smile that could split his face, without a care in the world. Subaru then began to examine his handy work, giving himself a short nod, then proceeded to walk over to the next area to blow it up too.
Sadly, all good things must come to an end.
Just as he was about to start firing again, an adorable little girl in a pink frilly ornate dress with long, cream colored hair, showed up in front of him with a small frown on her cute face.
"You are being a nuisance, I suppose!"
Her cute voice was enough to break Subaru's last bit of self restraint, as he enveloped the little spirit girl in a bone crushing hug.
That was a mistake.
"Let go of me, I suppose! I would've let you live if you only blew up the mansion, in fact, but you decided to touch Betty without her explicit permission! Betty will not forgive you now,in fact she will kill you with her own 2 hands, I suppose!"
That's when Subaru knew he had fucked up, and because of that fuck up, he was going to lose his life to the powerful spirit loli. His only regret was he wasn't able to blow up the entire mansion.
"El minya!"
'Master, noooooooo!'
Subaru Natsuki had died.
-Line Break-
Natsuki Subaru was extremely confused.
He had woken up in a realm completely enclosed in shadows. That by itself wasn't entirely unexpected, after all he had died. What truly caught him off guard was the Emilia look-a-like that he came face to face with as soon as he woke up. At first he thought she was the angel that came to take him to heaven, but upon further inspection he realized she was completely zoned out. What he didn't know was that she was having an internal panic attack, her other half just making it worse.
"Umm…miss, are you okay? "
No response
"Hello?"
Again no response
"HELL-"
he didn't get to finish is sentence as a black and silver blur crashed into him
"My beloved, you're here!"
"Uhh… do I know you?"
The girl looked heart broken, but it only lasted for a second.
"Well you don't know me, but you might have heard of me, I am the Witch of Envy, Satella," she said proudly
"Doesn't ring a bell"
Satella looked like a kicked puppy after that remark.
"Well anyways, where am I and why, am I dead?"
"You have in fact died, but because of the ability I gave you, you aren't permanently dead."
That response just added to his confusion
2 hours later
Questioning should have finished an hour ago, but Satella began to rant about all the reasons why she loves Subaru, as well as reasons why he should love her. That meant Subaru still had a few questions left.
"Satella tell me about your witch factor."
Satella began fidgeting, feeling uncomfortable with such a question.
"Well…umm, you see it's kind of complicated, so… ahh…"
She didn't know where to begin.
"My witch factor is different from the others. The others are just powers while mine comes with its own conscience."
"Oh, neat! What's it like having another voice in your head? I always wanted to know."
Subaru began thinking of a certain blonde-haired Shinobi.
"Well, it's kinda weird you know. Living most of your life with only yourself in your body then out of nowhere a strange voice starts screaming at you for alcohol. It's so bizarre!"
"Alcohol?"
"Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that she's a serious alcoholic. She even accomplished turning me into one," Satella answered, mumbling the last part, but Subaru still heard it.
"Would you like a drink?" Subaru asked as he pulled a sake bottle as well as 2 drinking glasses from his pocket. (Even I don't know where he got those from)
Satella's eyes began to gleam with anticipation, as her other half (she will now be known as Ella) jumped around, in her head, due to the excitement.
Subaru soon realized this was a mistake
1 hour later
"-and *hick* and then the banana *hick* groped the monkey and-and *burp* he…"
Satella was currently telling stories to Subaru while the latter laughed hysterically for absolutely no reason.
As you may have guessed they are both already drunk out of there asses.
Another 45 minutes later
"It's a damn tough life, full of toil and strife, we whaler-men undergo~And we don't give a damn when the gale is done, how hard the winds did blow~"
Now they are singing sea shanties while dancing arm in arm like good old friends.
Oh how the mighty have fallen
4 hours later
After hours of singing and storytelling both of the 2 drunks have finally fallen unconscious.
Just because the 2 idiots have fallen unconscious doesn't mean the party has stopped. No, on the contrary actually, Ella is still singing sea shanties, and will most likely continue to until the next chapter.
