Kairi and me were meant to be. Everybody always said it; everyone always believed it. I did too. And I was happy knowing that one day she would be mine and only mine. Even after the heartless came they said it. Even though we were constantly separated they believed it.
Kairi and Sora.
It was set in stone.
I wasn't attempting to go against destiny. I was just missing her. I wanted Kairi, I needed Kairi and I just missed her. So I turned to someone else. It's not like I betrayed her. I didn't mean to get seriously involved; it wasn't supposed to go anywhere. Kairi and me were meant to be…Naminé was just convenient.
I wasn't trying to forget her; I sure as hell wasn't trying to replace her. It honestly was pure coincidence that they resembled each other so greatly. I hadn't even noticed it at first, their uncanny resemblance to each other. Naminé was just there and I just needed someone to lean on. At first I had no romantic intentions. I was just using her, as awful as it sounds.
Somewhere along the way I fell in love.
Kairi may be my soul mate, the girl I'm destined to be with, but she isn't the girl I will love. That is Naminé and only Naminé.
She has my heart.
