A/N: Hey all...again, thanks for all the wonderful reviews on my other drabbles. They make me smile :) . Well, here's 'Button'...I'm posting these in order of number on the list. Also, the only ones I have written are listed on my profile page. Though, I do have some ideas and may get to writing more, now that semester is over. :)

Walking through the sliding doors of the Crown Arcade and Restaurant, Darien made his way to the counter for his daily dose of steaming, hot, black coffee. Nodding his head at Andrew, he reached out to take the desired drink from his best friend. He relaxed and let the quiet atmosphere surround him.
'Wait…quiet. Why is it so quiet?' Darien blinked, holding his mug in the air posed to take a sip.
"Hey, Drew," the ebony-haired man inquired, "Where's the Meatball Head?"
"She's over there sitting in that booth," the blonde, arcade worker replied, "though, I have no idea what she's so engrossed about. I would think that since her birthday is tomorrow, she would be jumping off the walls."
Darien was about to reply when the sound of something small hitting the floor stopped him. He turned around to find a golden-haired goddess picking something up off of the floor. He took a few seconds to think, before he got up and made his way over to the 15 year old girl.
"What are you up too, Meatball Head?" Darien asked as he sat down in the seat across from her.
"Don't call me that, Jerk," She retorted, "if you want to know you have to be nice to me."
Darien took in the sight before him before responding. He watched as the blonde picked up a little object, held it to her face, and then looked into a compact mirror setting on the table. He also noticed that the mirror was surrounded by more of the little objects, which on closer inspection turned out to be buttons; tons and tons of buttons.
He blinked and rephrased his earlier question, "What are you doing, Serena?"
The girl in front of him looked up startled and responded hesitantly, "Well, you see…my Aunt came to visit for my birthday tomorrow and brought her baby with her, my cousin."
"Okay…but what does that have to do with buttons and a mirror?" the dark-haired man asked.
"Umm…it might seem kind of stupid," Serena hesitated, "you promise not to laugh?"
"I'm curious, so I'll promise," Darien replied.
"Well, my mother said that the baby had a cute button nose…and well, I was just trying to figure out if I had a cute button nose and which button was the one that matched mine," she explained as a blush surfaced on her cheeks.
Darien took in all the information. His intense gaze wavered between the blonde girl and the buttons on the table, switching back and forth between the two. After sitting there for a few minutes, he reached out a hand and picked up one of the buttons.
He turned his hand over, with the button lying innocently on his fingertips, before saying, "This one."
"Huh?" Serena asked dumbfounded.
"This one," he repeated, "it's the cutest button…therefore it matches the cutest nose."
Serena just stared at the button in shock, processing what the ebony-haired hunk in front of her had just said.
Darien slowly pulled his hand away and pocketed the button while standing from the booth, "well, I have to go Meatball Head, see you around."
Serena was still staring at the place that his hand was previously, as the college student walked out of the Arcade.
