I was reading some Remus/Tonks fanfiction a little while ago, when, BAM, I was hit with an idea! So I started typing… and this is the result.

I don't own Harry Potter. If I did, I wouldn't be wasting my time writing Fanfiction. I'd be writing book seven.

The Chocolate Bar

Tonks giggled as she grabbed her boyfriend's hand and pulled him out of his room in Number 12, Grimmauld Place. "So," asked Remus, "Where we are going?"

"You'll see" she grinned at him, a twinkle of mischief in her eyes.

"Hmm… This should be interesting." he commented, an amused smile on his face as she led him out the door of Headquarters. They got out and she glanced around to make sure no muggles were watching. She looked back at him and held her arm out.

"Grab on, we're apparating."

"Where to?"

"Well if I told you, it would spoil the surprise!" she said cheerfully.

"I suppose." Remus agreed, taking hold of her arm. They apparated to a small muggle town that Remus was unfamiliar with. As soon as he had adjusted to the change in location she started running without giving him time to let go of her arm. They ran down a road, passing shop after shop until Tonks came to an immediate halt outside of a nice little place with a sign saying The Chocolate Bar.

Remus was still catching his breath when he realized how great the air smelled. Just like chocolate…he thought. He looked inside the windows and saw people enjoying all kinds of chocolate: chocolate frogs, chocolate fudge, chocolate ice cream, chocolate milkshakes, chocolate cake, great chunks of chocolate, and so many other forms of chocolate that it would take a week to name them all! His face lit up.

Tonks laughed at his ridiculous expression. "I take it you like the surprise?"

Remus looked over at her. "It's wonderful, Nymphadora!" he exclaimed, looking ready to jump up and down like an excited six-year-old.

"I love having a boyfriend who's addicted to chocolate!"

"But I'm more addicted to you." He no longer wore the expression of a child, but a cute one of happiness and love.

"Is that so?" she asked, smiling widely.

"It will always be so, my love." He answered, and she sank into his arms for a moment, closing her eyes. They broke apart and entered The Chocolate bar, hand in hand.
