Total Drama Chaotic Camp
Episode 5- The Aftermath I
A guitar riff is heard while a blue newsreel-style background is seen, until the initials T-D-C-C-C appear.
Narrator: Total Drama Chaotic Camp. The Aftermath.
Recordings of the first 4 chapters are shown.
Lara ran out of the forest with several animals following her.
Lara: aww, thank you Mr. Raccoon, I'll stop by another time.
Anthony: wait, the best part is missing.
Anthony took a button from Paul's hand...
And pressed the button. The owl's eyes lit up.
Out of nowhere the owl burst into flames.
Olivia: Well, at least I wasn't the first.
At that her phone rings, Olivia opens it and sees she has an email.
Olivia: finally I have access to the blog.
But her expression changes from happiness to astonishment.
Olivia: oh no, I have to warn the others.
She tried to open the back door of the bus but couldn't, it was completely sealed.
Olivia: nooooooooo.
Elias: It's fake, the real map had Chris' mark, but not this one.
The intro with the letters is repeated again.
Narrator: Total Drama Chaotic Camp, The Aftermath.
The camera pans to a studio with two bleachers, several screens and a couch in the middle where a fat blond guy and a skinny brown-haired guy were sitting.
Noah: Welcome to Total Drama Camp Chaos, the sequel, we are your hosts, multi-season contestants and the team of reality TV pros, Noah and my friend, the machine capable of devouring anything. Owen.
Owen: wujuuu, yeah dude, I'm a host now, this is a dream come true.
Noah: Since when did you dream of being a host?
Owen: since we were contacted to do it when we were eliminated in Indonesia during the Race.
-clip of what we didn't see-
Owen: What reality show should we do next?
Noah: didn't I tell you, we got invited to the next season of total drama?
Owen: Really.
Noah: as hosts of the Aftermath. Apparently they're going to have a whole new cast.
Owen: And are you sure you want to go, after... you know.
Noah: dude, he's fine, besides, we're going to be on a couch most of the time with a buffet on the side, there's nothing to...
Owen: Buffet? yeah let's do it.
Owen hugs Noah.
Noah: gah, Owen... my ribs.
-end of bonus clip-
Noah: In this program we interview those who fell by the wayside for the million dollars, we'll ask them how they feel about their elimination, their short stays in camp, their former teammates and much more.
Owen: But we won't do it alone, as we have friends from all seasons.
The camera pans showing the couch/couch that was to the right of the studio, where 18 of the Campers from seasons 1 through 6 were.
Noah: give it up for Eva.
The Athlete waves to the camera as a clip is shown of her moving one of the boxes to set up the hot tub on the first day of Drama Island.
Owen: Tyler.
The jock smiles as a clip is shown of him climbing the electric fence in Area 51.
Noah: Cody.
The geek made the gun-finger gesture as a clip is shown of when he imitated Trent at the talent show and fell off the bleachers.
Owen: Beth.
The Action finalist smiled at the camera as a clip was shown of when she decide she had enough of Heather.
Owen: Harold.
The nerd took a bow as they play a clip of his Beatbox from the talent show.
Noah: Leshawna.
The "sister with attitude" waved to the camera as a clip of her dance moves on the plane was shown during "fly with us."
Owen: Katie and Sadie.
The best friends waved as a clip was shown of them trying to get the swelling off from sitting in poison ivy.
Noah: from the cast of revenge of the island. Staci.
The chatterbox, now with her hair back, waved to the camera as a clip of her elimination was shown. The audience for the first time issued a negative reaction.
Owen: B.
The silent boy waved to the camera as a clip was shown of when he built the rocket couch.
Noah: Anne Maria.
The woman with the artificial tan, smiled at the camera while she applied her hair spray, as a clip of her receiving the "diamond" from the mine appeared on screen.
Owen: Brick.
The soldier gave a military salute as a clip of when he dislocated his hip came on screen.
Noah: and, from Pahkitew Island, Beardo.
The boy with the afro saluted the camera and mimicked the sound of a bell, while a clip of his slow-motion run was shown.
Owen: Leonard.
The wizard made a couple of flicks with his wand as the screens showed a clip of when he tried to stop the chef and was hit by tennis balls.
Noah: Rodney.
The farmer (who was practically hugging himself into a ball to fit in) smiled at the camera as a clip was shown of when Sugar threw the snake at him during the "Doom balloons" challenge
Owen: Jasmine and Shawn.
The survivors couple waved to the camera as a clip was shown of Shawn saving Jasmine from the "zombies" and of when Shawn was paralyzed with fear.
Noah: and... (switches to a bored tone) Sky.
The "cree" girl waved to the camera shyly as a clip of her talent show burping act appeared on screen. The audience had a mixed reaction to her.
Eva: I can't believe im more regular here than in the show itself.
Noah: Hey, Chris is probably afraid you'll break his arm. I would consider it an honor.
Owen: We'll have some fans on video call, and of course, we'll interview the first 4 eliminated from this season.
The screen above showed images of the 4.
Noah: cosplayer Lara, pirate Anthony, shipper Olivia and prankster Elias.
The audience applauded.
Noah: But before that, peanut gallery, which of these eliminations surprised you the most?
Anne Maria: Honestly, none of them, I'm more surprised that they didn't vote out the cowboy.
The majority of the gallery nodded.
Noah: And how do you feel about not participating?
Cody: Honestly I'm not upset.
Beth: same here.
Tyler: I would have liked to measure myself against the other athletes.
Eva: Bullshit.
Katie and Sadie raised their shoulders.
Harold: I think I deserve another chance after being cruelly ignored for the all stars season.
Leshawna: You said it, sweetie.
Staci: oh I would have liked another chance, but I'm not upset.
B gave a thumbs up.
Brick: I wish I would have been there to hang out with some of the new kids like Ethan, Shane or Rose.
Anne Maria: I should have come back after I got cheated on with that fake diamond.
Leonard: I guess after my two previous stays I'm happy with a break.
Beardo mimicked the sound of a bell, indicating that he was not upset.
Rodney: disappointing, but after playing with the hearts of three girls I deserve it.
Jasmine: after almost dying in an explosion, no thanks.
Shawn: well, that million would have come in handy for my bunker, but...
Sky: no thanks... This program has brought me enough misfortune.
An awkward silence formed after that last comment.
Owen: well... I guess we should start with the introductions.
Noah: Yeah, good idea big guy. Our first guest is an avid costume fanatic, expert in tailoring and knitting, skilled with voice modulation and winner of 12 cosplay contests in one year, Lara.
The cosplayer entered from the left side waving to the audience, while dressed as Kate Bishop
Lara: Hello.
Owen: Welcome Lara.
Lara: Thanks Owen, it's nice to be here, at least elimination doesn't feel so terrible knowing that I'll be spending some time with you guys.
Noah: Speaking of which, how do you feel about being the first eliminated of the season?
Lara: Honestly, it sucks, but at the same time, maybe I should have gotten to camp before I got to play with the animals. It's just, sometimes I get really excited when I cosplay and the character "sucks" me in.
Owen: How do you feel about Camp based on your... brief stay?
Lara: Well, the forest was beautiful, if you ignore the bear that almost ate us, and the winner's hut looked great, too bad I didn't get to enjoy it.
Noah: And what about your ex-colleagues, do you have a grudge against them for voting for you?
Lara: not at all, it was my mistake, as for them, I was sharing some time with Anthony and he is very generous, Ethan, Shane, Jane, Laney and Nikki seem like nice people, Paul and Dean, I think it's just a matter of getting to know them better, Melody terrifies me a little, but she doesn't seem to have bad intentions, I can't say the same about Keith or Valerie.
Owen: What about the other team, what is your opinion about the members of the Mooses?
Lara: Elias is well intentioned, even if he doesn't know how to determine when it's time to get serious, Olivia is someone you can talk to anytime, as for the rest, Damian is a jerk, Bryan is a rat and Lacey is a bit bossy, the rest seem to be all friendly.
Noah: All right, as a last question, who would you like to see win this season?
Lara: Well, Shane is the one I've spent the most time with and he has good intentions for charitable causes, he's definitely my choice.
Noah: great, no more questions for you, but feel free to stay on that couch for this episode while we bring in our second guest.
The screen starts showing scenes of Anthony.
Noah: Anthony had a short stay on the show, and his chances of survival turned to ashes... literally.
Owen: a cabin boy aspiring to captain, sailor ready to confront the beasts of the 7 seas, a standing ovation for Anthony.
The pirate walks out waving to the audience, then sits down next to Lara with whom he high fives.
Anthony: argg sailors.
Owen: argg to you too Anthony. Tell me, how do you feel about your early elimination?
Anthony: I feel just as useless as a sea cucumber, but I guess I earned it by being just as deaf as a cannon reloader after a showdown.
Noah: Speaking of which, we have an exclusive clip showing what you were doing while Paul explained about the wires.
-exclusive clip from episode 2-
Paul was explaining to the rest of his teammates what happened with the lighted eyes plan.
Paul: I was able to install the wiring, but most of it is in terrible condition, and I'm afraid the insulation won't be enough, the best we can do is not turn them on.
The rest of the team nodded and went back to work, the camera panned revealing Anthony emerging from behind a pile of junk adjusting his pants.
-end of confessional-
Anthony: What can I say, when you have to fire the torpedoes you have to fire them.
Anne Maria: Ugh, one comment too many.
Owen: What is your opinion of your former teammates and the other team members?
Anthony: Apart from Keith and Valerie, I'd say all my teammates are nice, even if Paul is grumpy as an old turtle and Melody is scary as standing in front of Krakken himself. Of the Mooses, well, Elias and Olivia have been very nice since they arrived, Damian, honestly I'm surprised Lucas hasn't beaten him up, And Bryan...wow, I never expected him to be a backstabbing leech.
Noah: And who of the remaining 20 do you want to win the season?
Anthony: I guess Jane, she tries to be a good leader and seems nice, I'd say Shane would also be a candidate...
Noah: what 's up?
Anthony: I was expecting a hammer or something, you know, like in total drama action.
Owen: Oh that, never mind, we managed to negotiate it. Fortunately Noah's girlfriend knows a few things about contracts.
Noah: I love you Emma.
Owen: But what we had to include if we had to, is Geoff's favorite segment.
Owen/Noah: that gonna leave a mark.
Recording episode 1
Lucas' fall from the tree, which had not been shown on the broadcast, is shown, showing that he first hit his face on a branch.
Luke: Hay
Then his arm with another.
Luke: No
Then knee with the next one.
Luke: Me llevan al
Then the other arm with another, which also had some squirrels paid to the trunk looking at it, and they threw an acorn each at it.
Luke: Diablo
And finally he hit one more para before falling over a bush.
Clip from episode 2
Alan is shown sliding down the grease from the bag Melody had discarded and ends up crashing into a pile of garbage, only to have an old reflector fall on his head.
Clip from episode 3
A compilation of various Campers taking hits from the Knockout-Splash wall is shown.
Tyler: Those will definitely leave a mark.
Staci: My great-great-great-great-grandfater second Maurice invented spotlights, before that people had to use a huge amount of candles and a cloth to have decent lighting in theaters.
Most of the cast rolled their eyes at Staci's new story.
Noah: ignoring that... stay in your seats, we're going to take a short break and come back to interview today's last two guests.
- commercial break-
Owen: Welcome back, we have interviewed the first eliminated of the season, both members of the confused owls, now it's our turn to move on to the eliminated Screaming Mooses.
The camera started showing recordings of Olivia.
Noah: Olivia came into the show as our fanfiction and shipp lover, making good friends with her teammates. Unfortunately her stay was cut short when Bryan heard of her access to Sierra's blog, which could expose his shy facade, and manipulated the male side of the team to vote her out.
Owen: Writer of over 300 stories of all kinds of total drama, caffeine and chocolate lover a round of applause for Olivia, 4Ever-Lover.
The Shipper came out holding a notebook and waving to the audience.
Noah: Welcome to the set of the Aftermath Olivia.
Olivia: Thank you Noah, congratulations on finding your other half by the way.
The sarcastic guy blushed as the screen showed an image of his kiss with Emma in Indonesia.
Noah: well... starting with you, how would you describe your camp experience?
Olivia: Honestly, it was mostly positive, I mean, I managed to avoid the chef's food, the loser cabin and the communal bathrooms, the only bad thing was, well, my elimination.
Owen: And what about your ex-teammates and the other team?
Olivia: Well, taking out Damien, Bryan, Keith and Valerie, I'd say they were all nice. But Carly and Rose were the best, I hope Rose wins, Carly doesn't need it and I'm sure she just wants to go as far as she can.
Noah: Well, since you answered the last question without us asking you, let's take the opportunity to ask you about something that has fans wondering. Production, run video.
The screen showed a scene from the confessional scene during the second episode.
Olivia: There are so many choices for couples, though as far as I'm concerned, I can perceive at least 4.
Olivia: oh, that, you see, I have a sort of sixth sense for sensing love.
Leonard: Maybe you're a love fairy.
Katie: Oh that would be amazing.
Sadie: Can you imagine, being able to sense when there's love between two people?
Rodney: That would be a gift to the world.
Noah: yeah... I'll take your word for it, but the point is, the fans are already theorizing and they want some of that information.
Olivia: Well, I can't share too much... but maybe I could tell you some cryptic things based on some of the comments.
Owen: production.
An intern handed Owen a tablet.
Owen: Kyle from Chicago points to... Ethan and Valerie.
Olivia: ha, sorry Val, but your prince will see that you are not the princess, but the witch.
Owen: how about?, Carly and Dean.
Olivia: oh, a story worthy of a fairy tale, the princess daughter of a wealthy family and the hard working man who struggles to survive day by day.
Owen: and... Lucas and Damian?
Olivia: I told you fans love to pair up people who hate each other. Forget it, not only they want to tear each other's eyes out, but the masked one has an arduous road to his angelic-hearted love.
Owen: Ohh, this one interests me, Corey and Helen.
Olivia: Loves for similar things, I'll let fate tell.
Owen: All right... Jane and Keith?
Olivia: Do I need to say no?
Sky: forget it, the only people who hate Keith more than me are my sister and my parents.
Cody: oh, oh, I want to ask if I'll find my soulmate.
Olivia: you will, just give it time, and you will form a bond as strong as Shawn and Jasmine.
Rodney: What about Sky?
Sky: Rodney, please. I don't want to get into those discussions.
Jasmine put a hand on her shoulder as Shawn sent a "shut the f up" look to Rodney, who ducked his head in embarrassment and shame.
Olivia: Oh Sky, I know your heart is healing, but don't worry, you will find someone to heal it… (whispers) and you will heal his hearth too.
Noah: Excuse me?, the microphone didn't pick that up.
Olivia: Nothing important.
Noah: ...sure. Well, I think that's enough love questions for now, let's move on to our last interviewee for today.
The screen started showing footage of Elias.
Owen: Elias promised to be the comedy of the show, and while we can't say he did a bad job, it wasn't his jokes that cost him his stay on the island, but chance and a trap courtesy of Bryan.
Noah: winner of 4 joke contests, creator of at least 5 new jokes and victim of a fake map, say hello to our last guest tonight, Elias.
The prankster entered the set waving and sat down on the couch, Anthony offered him the 5 and received a shock.
Elias: oops... I forgot to take it off.
The brown-haired guy removed the button and the wires from his palm.
Elias: Well, I had an electrifying entrance.
Beardo: *funny drum sound*.
Elias: Thanks Beardo
Noah: So Elias, how can you summarize your experience for us?
Elias: The cabin hotel is great, the normal one, not so much, the place violates all health codes and I was the victim of a dirty trick. I'm honestly indifferent.
Owen: And what about your ex-partners, are you angry that they won't listen to your defense?
Elias: a little, at least Carly knows the map was sabotaged, I can't believe Bryan was the saboteur.
Noah: Speaking of which, we have this clip of when he setted the paint.
-bonus clip-
A recording is shown showing Bryan tying a bucket full of paint with a very, very thin thread on the knob, so that when it is opened, it will snap and drop the contents of the bucket.
Bryan: goodbye Elias, too bad you won't be the author of your final joke.
-end of clip-
Elias: And he enjoys it, the bastard. I hope Carly can expose him.
Beth: I still can't believe he's so evil.
Leshawna: Girl, did you forget about Alejandro or Justin already? They seemed like kindhearted gallants and turned out to be backstabbers.
Brick: Scott did something similar.
Sky: And so did Scarlett.
Shawn: But Bryan is playing the biggest card of all, acting like a dead fly and then, wham, swatted.
Elias: definitely the worst villains are the ones who have all their points invested in charisma.
Leonard and Harold laughed.
Leonard: good joke mate.
Noah: Well, that leaves us well defined your opinion about Bryan, but what about the others?
Elias: well, Damian is a jerk, Lacey is kind of strict, but she doesn't seem to be mean, and the others are cool, from the other team, Keith insulted me the first day, and Valerie is trying to manipulate Ethan, so I don't hold them in high esteem, the others seem to be reasonable. Even if Melody scares me.
Owen: And of them who would you want to win?
Elias: Honestly, I think I'll go with either Dean or Paul, they both seem to have money problems so that would help them.
Noah: Well, I guess that was it, it feels good to be on the show without being in the challenges at the same time.
Owen: don't forget to tune in for the next episode and later, the next Aftermath, where we will interview the next batch of Campers who were voted off.
Noah: Will Carly be able to unravel the mystery of the map?
Owen: Will we find out what's going on between Helen and Corey?
Noah: Will Paul and Melody be able to reveal the true face of Valerie?
Owen: Find out in the next episode of Total... Drama...
Everyone (except B and Beardo): Chaotic Camp.
Lights are turned off.
Eve: Okay, can we go now?
Noah: Yes.
-END OF EPISODE-

-Teams-
Screaming Elks- Corey, Bryan, Lacey, Lucas, Rose, Helen, Damian, Sarah, Alan, Carly.
Confused Owls- Laney, Shane, Melody, Keith, Nikki, Ethan, Paul, Jane, Dean, Valerie.
And here we end with the first episode of The Aftermath.
Honestly, when they debuted this format in Total Drama Action, it didn't really catch my attention, but over the years I've grown to like them, as they are a good way to use cast members who didn't qualify, as well as to allow us to see how the eliminated members of the show are doing, and to advance or close plots. Plus, it's always nice to see a "thats gonna leave a mark."
Owen and Noah were chosen as hosts because honestly, I can see them in that position in a canon season, plus it serves as an excuse to tie in more with the Ridonculous Race.
As for the peanut gallery, I chose them for the following reasons.
Eva, Katie and Sadie: the three original cast members who never got their second chance, so, more screen time.
Tyler, Beth and Cody: I just wanted to use them, Beth is very caring, Cody always brings some factor and Tyler is Tyler(in a good way).
Leshawna and Harold: pretty much along the same lines as before, I was close to including Geoff and Bridgette, but decided to give the G1 couple spot to them.
Staci, B, Brick and Anne Maria: they were simply the "plotless" choices for this, Dawn came close to appearing, but I left her for other things, "wink, wink".
Beardo, Leonard and Rodney: they were among the earliest boots of their season, so I decided to give them a spot to see a bit more of them. The twins were considered, as well as Max to be the annoyance factor and Topher who would try to take the hosting spot, but I decided to exploit the early ones. And leave the othes out.
Jasmine and Shawn: they are my two favorites from their season and there was no way they would bring Scarlett or Sugar.
Sky: Well her sister and her ex are participating, it would be silly not to include her in this. She has some plot for the Aftermaths in order of building something for the future.
In the next episode, we return to camp to visit a location, where our participants will interact to avoid a painful fall.
