Chapter 28: Going Underground.

"Please don't! Please!" a woman yelled, her voice nothing but raw fear and pain.

"Why not? Who's going to stop us? You?" a man said in a deep growl.

"Take her son, Harriet likes em young, and he's a pretty one, she'll have a field day with him, might even give us a promotion," a woman said to his right, and the man laughed darkly.

"How old is he? Twelve? Thirteen? Perfect age for her, who knows, she might actually want to keep this one after the last one managed to cut his wrists with that glass," the man said, and the woman let out a strangled sob.

"No, please! He's all I've got, please don't take my baby boy!" she said in a fear laced sob, both the man and woman laughed in unison.

"And now he and all you belong to the West Side boys, don't worry, if he does good and licks her pussy well and takes his lashes like a man she might even let him come down and see you from time to time," the woman said in a sickly sweet voice before they both laughed again.

"I've heard enough, this is that hostile faction Spike warned everyone about, ok, let's do this right and by the numbers, assassination protocol in effect, quick, quiet, and clean, T'Sall, Inferno, those two are yours, Whisper, set up on top of that train back there, should give you a good line of sight into the station and platform, Macha, you're with me, these fuckers are going down hard," Reaper said, and they all nodded in agreement, then, with a last thought, Reaper turned to T'Sall, "Tear what intel you can from their minds," he said, and T'Sall nodded.

"With pleasure," he said darkly.

It appeared that civilians had turned an underground station into a survivor camp, there were makeshift shacks and tents set up all over the platform, there had to be about fifty of them living on the platform and in the station rooms, but now a group of twenty armed hostiles stood in their midst, having rounded them up in the centre of the platform, a number had been shot dead to send a message, predominantly the elder ones.

They were in the process of shackling and chaining them together into a rather large chain gang, the mother and her son were at the far side of the platform closest to Reaper and his team where they were hiding next to an underground train that sat silently on the rails, how these people hadn't been found by the Xeno's roaming the tunnels was beyond Reaper, but their good fortune appeared to have run out now, or maybe not.

Like two shimmering shadows, T'Shara and T'Sall moved silently up behind the two laughing gang members holding the young human mother and her son who was behind her clinging to her in fear, in perfect sync, both T'Sall and T'Shara stepped forwards and, in one perfectly synced movement, grabbed a head each and before they could even yell out in surprise at having their heads grabbed, they twisted hard.

Two crunches signaled their end and they went down without a single noise as their necks were broken, both T'Sall and T'Shara moved forwards and grabbed both the mother and son and clamped their hands over their mouths to prevent yelling, "Fear not, good woman, we're here to help, we mean you no harm, nod your head if you understand," T'Sall said almost silently into her ear, she nodded, "Good, my name is T'Sall, and me and my comrades here are going to get you and your people out of here, make your way to the train and remain as silent as you can, a comrade of ours is there, she will protect you," he said, and the woman nodded, "Good, go now," he said, and they released them.

"Thank you, whoever you are," she said in a whisper and, grabbing her son, she moved off the platform, never even seeing Reaper and Macha moving past her in the shadows silently along the rails till they were directly behind the group of armed invaders, he silently pulled two orbs from his belt and showed them to Macha and she read his thoughts and nodded.

"No mercy, my love," she said darkly, and he nodded before clicking two buttons at once and rolling the two orbs along the platform to either side of the group.

In the confined space of the station the flashbangs were absolutely deafening and the white light they gave off blinded everyone, the civvies all threw themselves on the floor while the gunmen and women all stumbled back, clutching their eyes and ears, there was no challenge, no shouted warning, both Macha and Reaper were on the platform amongst the group less than a second after the detonations and the entire group opened up on the gunmen.

T'Sall and Inferno had moved down the platform waiting for Reaper to make his move and they'd ducked down when they'd seen the grenades but as they detonated they both moved too, catching the group in a pincer movement, Macha and Aiden coming from the left and them coming from the right with Whisper raining fire down from above them.

In less than three seconds every one of them lay dead on the floor with a variety of wounds, the last one falling to Macha, who showed off her dark side superbly when she grabbed hold of the man by the arms and hoisted him into the air, holding him close to her face, "Please no! Please don't!" he screamed in panic and she growled at him.

"Funny, that's what they said and you ignored them, well, guess what..." Aiden said, letting his voice trail off as Macha tore the man's arms clean off in a single move, letting him fall to the platform with two crimson fountains gushing from either of his stump shoulders, he screamed and rolled around armless on the platform, bleeding out in only moments before an odd silence punctured by only the frightened whimpers of the civilians in the chain gang.

"Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Sergeant Reaper of Spirit team six and we are here to get you out of here, don't be afraid, we won't hurt you," Reaper said loudly, letting his commanding voice wash over the frightened group and suddenly a lot of heads came up and wet eyes went wide.

"T-T-The rescue team? You're with the rescue team?" a young man in the centre of the group asked.

"Got in one, my friend, now let's get these fucking chains off you and we'll get you all out of here to a safe location till we can arrange transport to get you off this bloody rock," Aiden said, and suddenly a whole wash of emotion went through the group like a wave of pure joy and triumph.

Macha stepped forwards into the pool of golden light being cast by a fire and there was a cry of surprise and fear at the appearance of an armoured Xeno queen in their midst, "Don't be afraid, this is Macha, she's a gentle and beautiful soul, she would never hurt the innocent," Aiden said, running his hand over his beauty queen's armored head and making purr happily at his living touch.

"S-S-She's on our side?" the man who had spoke asked, and Reaper nodded as he moved forward and broke the chains binding him in his cybernetic hand.

"Yes, she is, and who wouldn't want an armored Xeno queen at their back, right?" Adien said with a smile as Whisper and the mother with her child joined them.

The team got everyone freed and watched over them as they packed their gear, "Reaper to Queen Bee, are you receiving over?" he said into his comms.

"Receiving you, Reaper, go ahead," Queen Bee said.

"Have secured a survivor goup in the subway, are the team still at that warehouse, over?" he said.

"Negative, whole team has relocated to a second site, hooked up with another survivor group, second site is more defensible and have set up a safe zone inside, coordinates transmitted to you, over," she replied, and his wrist comp pinged as it received an update.

"Roger that, Queen Bee, will transport civilians to safe zone, have you had a chance to review the data we transmitted to you? Over," he said.

"Yes I have, this is pretty damning stuff, Reaper, doesn't make for happy reading, I can tell you that, copies of the full data stream plus our on ground reports based on what I'm seeing have been transmitted to the relevant authorities within the council, as requested I have also sent copies over to the Halkrath, Section five, and the Guardian Core, I'm just awaiting responses from all involved, I've also put them on notice of the individuals you're hunting, just in case they've made it off world, better to get all eyes open early and maybe we might catch some luck and one of them might spot these fuckers, the teams have a lot of eyes and ears out there and maybe one of them might come back to us with something, over," she replied.

"Roger that, Queen Bee, we'll focus our efforts on getting these people safe and getting the air defence net down for now, we'll also see what we can dig up about these agents down here, over," he said.

"Roger that, Reaper, we're going through leaving ship logs to see if we can get any details from the satelite, in the mean time, we might be able to speed things up, oh, and one more thing, while I have you on a private channel, the next time you, Inferno, and your, ahem, Xeno queen want to have some private time together, tell Inferno to close down her open comms line and her mask cam, I saw things the other night that are going to stay wedged in my brain for a real long time, don't get me wrong, I'm glad to see that you're a man who knows how to look after his girls and that they're girls who know how to look after their man, plus, it's about time you and Inferno got it on, was thinking that we might have to lock you both in the gym with some Demora root or something, and I certainly didn't expect the dynamic duo to become a terrific trio with a Xeno queen, but it's info I could have really done without, over and out," she said, and Reaper winced.

"Message received and understood, over and out," he said, and he sighed heavily, then he turned to Inferno who was helping some civilians pack their gear while their little boy who was about six utterly gawked up at her, "Umm, quick word, my love," he said, grabbing her arm and steering her away.

"What's wrong, my love?" she asked.

"Ummm, the other night when we all, ummm, made love, you kinda left your mask cam and comms on, it got beamed up to the Ghost's Shadow, she, umm, saw the whole thing," he said quietly, and even behind the mask, he felt her mandibles fall open.

"S-S-She saw us together, she saw what we all did?" she asked, and he nodded.

"The whole thing, from start to finish, she's not angry, she thought it was funny and she's happy for us, she just told me to make sure you close your comms off the next time," he said, and Inferno was mortified.

"She saw us making love..." she said, and Aiden reached up and stroked her dreads gently.

"It's ok, my love, it's done, and I know Queen bee, she will have deleted the footage to make sure we have our privacy, she just wanted me to tell you to turn the comms off next time," he said, and she nodded.

"I am sorry, my love, my actions ruined our privacy," she said, sounding distraught, and Aiden turned and drew her into an embrace.

"My proud huntress, I wouldn't have cared if our actions were beamed across every screen in the entire universe if it meant that I got to enjoy our love with you both," he said, and she purred softly.

"I will not make the same mistake twice," she said, and he nodded.

"Alright, good, let's get these people moving and to the new safe zone, according to the mapping data it's not far from here, so let's get up to the surface and get moving, shall we?" he said, she nodded and the team moved to begin steering the civilians up to the surface through the creepy abandoned station, Aiden and T'Sall took point with Whisper in the centre of the civilians and T'Shara and Macha at the rear.

"There is a whole nest of them hold up in a large tower block, they got the whole place locked down tight and they got civilians in there being used as slaves in the worst possible way," T'Sall said as they moved up to the street level.

Reaper glanced at him darkly, "Well then, before we get off this fucking rock I believe we need to make a house call, don't you?" Reaper said, and T'Sall nodded.

"I couldn't agree more," he said.

Both of them stepped out onto the street and swung left and right, checking to see if it was clear, it was deserted and they summoned the group of civilians to move up to them, "Reaper to Spike, come in, Spike, over," Reaper called into his comms.

"Go ahead, Reaper, over," Spike replied after a second.

"We just exited the subway system, got a large group of civvies in tow, are currently in transit to your location, over," Reaper said.

"Roger that, how did you get on in the labs? Find out anything useful? Over," Spike said.

"Yeah, a fair bit actually, we'll discuss it in person though, ETA thirty minutes, over," Reaper said.

"Roger that, Reaper, be careful on the roads over here, we've had a lot of activity of both the dead and the living, we took out a patrol of West Side boys only twenty minutes ago who decided they wanted to investigate this place, now they're a mile away in a burning car with the dead eating them, didn't want to leave the bodies or the car to close to home in case it brought others to investigate, but our lookouts are seeing activity all around us, so be watchful, and make sure your little caravan doesn't bring tag alongs with you, over," Spike said, and Aiden twitched at that.

"Yeah, roger that, ok, we're moving, we'll see you soon, Reaper, over and out," Aiden said, closing the comms line down.

"Sounds like they've had a lot of trouble securing the place with these West Side boys roaming around," T'Sall said, and Reaper nodded.

"Yeah, because that's what you need in a zombie apocalypse, a set of crazy gang bangers intent on world domination," he said.

The caravan moved slow due to the civilians setting the pace, you always move to the pace of your slowest person so that you don't get separated, so with T'Sall and Reaper moved ahead Reaper on the left side of the road and T'Sall was on the right with his plasma casters circling him like angry glowing wasps, the group were clustered together in the centre, which wasn't exactly tactically sound, but trying to herd civilians was worse than trying to herd cats, well, non evolved cats anyway.

Suddenly T'Sall held up a balled fist and took a knee, "What you got?" Reaper said, panning his weapon around, T'Sall pointed up at a building and, using hand gestures, he indicated that it was occupied, Raper nodded and the motioned for T'Shara to hold the group together and she nodded, Aiden pointed to T'Sall and motioned for him to come with him and the pair moved to the door.

T'Sall sent his casters up above the buildings and had them hover above the roof, Aiden scanned the door and found a trap, he held up his fist so that T'Sall nodded, slowly opening the door a tiny crack, he reached inside until he felt the trip wire attached to the door, "Grenade," he hissed and reached into his belt to remove the wire snips, he clipped the wire and slowly opened the door, careful to not to disturb the can that held the circular grenade.

The building was a small family shop, it reminded Aiden of pictures of things they used to have before the universal Internet, a news agents he thought they were called, T'Sall moved ahead of him between the shelves and into a small stairwell that led them up to the first floor, there were four doors up here and T'Sall pointed to the one on the furthest left that overlooked the street, Aiden stacked up on the door and T'Sall counted down three fingers till he hit zero and, with an almighty kick, he underestimated just how weak the door was and actually kicked it off its hinges and into the room, knocking one of the would be sniper team clean off the bed beyond, and T'Sall moved so incredibly fast that Aiden barely saw it, he was on the door and had plunged his new laser wrist blades through the door and the man pinned underneath.

Aiden simply stepped in and as he saw the woman with the rifle who was watching through the window, he rushed forwards and instead of shooting her, in a moment of unusual compassion, he stepped forward and, with blinding speed, punched her in the face.

Now, most people probably wouldn't have thought that was all that compassionate, considering that he hit her with a metal fist that was basically the same as getting hit with a sledgehammer head to the face, but rather than being full of smoking holes dead on the ground, she was still breathing, unconscious and with the mother of all headaches to look forward to when she woke up, but still breathing all the same.

T'Sall looked up from his door surfing position on the bed, which was now turning red from the blood leaking from the man pinned under it, "Taking a prisoner, Reaper?" he asked and he nodded.

"Figured that she could tell us more about the West Side boys, inside intel is always useful," he said, and T'Sall clicked his mandibles and nodded.

"I will take a stroll through her mind later, and she will hide no secrets from us," he said, and Aiden secured her wrists behind her back with a set of plasticuffs, she didn't even look to be out of her teenage years, twenty at the absolute oldest, she was dressed in street style clothes, snow camo trousers that were stupidly loose, army boots, a green tank top tee shirt and a white hoodie top, she had her blonde hair done into dread locks, obviously a one woman embodiment for a cry for attention.

T'Sall hoisted the unconscious girl onto one of his broad shoulders and the pair carried her downstairs and the pair stepped out onto the street, "We're taking prisoners now?" T'Shara asked as she saw the unconscious cuffed woman on T'Sall's shoulder.

"Figured that we could use the intel, or at least what she knows anyway, plus, call me soft, but I didn't want to kill a kid," Reaper said, and T'Shara lifted the woman's head by grabbing her dreads and hoisting her head up, she growled as she saw how young the woman was.

"Bloody fool ooman, such a waste of life, you are too kind for your own good, sometimes, my male, had it been me up there she would not be breathing," she growled, shaking her head and Reaper patted her shoulder knowingly and then, as T'Sall summoned his casters back, they got moving again, now without observers.

The base was not far away, thankfully, as walking in the street really had a creepy vibe that was obviously unnerving everyone, not just Aiden, there was just something about a deserted city that screamed wrong on so many levels, but eventually the shipping yard loomed up on them, "Friendlies coming in!" Reaper called into the comms, and moments later, the large gates rolled open and Spike, with a couple of uniformed police officers, came out.

"Reaper! About bloody time...why is T'Sall carrying a woman on his shoulder?" he asked, noticing the big hybrid Dream Warrior carrying the still limp body of the woman they'd captured.

"Prisoner, we got anywhere to hold her?" he asked.

Spike to turned to one of the cops, "Funny you should ask, we actually set one of the containers up for just such an occasion, not that we've actually had a chance to use it at all," the cop said, pointing inside, T'Sall followed him while the rest of them ushered the group of incredibly grateful civilians inside where they were welcomed into the larger group, the group that Reaper had been shepherding actually broke down, so many of them began to cry at seeing friendly faces, they'd obviously been on the run since this began, so them seeing other living faces was just a sheer relief.

Aiden saw a table and moved over to it and dropped into a chair, letting out a whoosh of air, T'Shara embraced him from behind and both of them watched the civilians rainbow of reactions to Macha, who was still in her full armor, once again it was the kids who displayed an utter lack of fear while the adults kept their distance, kids began appearing from everywhere to look at the big armored Xeno queen in their midst, but it wasn't until one particular kid did a running jump into her arms that they literally swarmed her.

"Macha! You're back! I've missed you sooooo much!" Missy yelled, leaping into Macha's arms as she retracted the armor plates, the Xeno queen caught her and swung her around.

"I have missed you too, my little hatchling," Macha said, hoisting her up onto her shoulder after a warm embrace, Missy held onto her dreads and she rode high on her shoulder, suddenly she was surrounded by children of all races and both T'Shara and Aiden watched as, like a Xeno pied piper, she lead them over to a place where she could sit down and just play with them.

"She's a natural, motherhood must be bred into every Xeno queen," Aiden said as they both watched her.

"I hope that when my time comes, I am half as good a mother to our cubs as she is," T'Shara said, and Aiden couldn't help but smile at that.

"God, I've got my work cut out for me haven't I? A litter of half human half Yaujta kids running around play hunting everything that moves, then half Xeno half human, if it's possible, running about too," he said, smiling thoughtfully at that.

"It pleases me that you are happy to have cubs with me at all, my male, but yes, you will be a busy Patriach, but I have no doubt in my mind that you would be a great one," she said, and he smiled.

"Thank you, my huntress, and, for the record, I think you will be a great mother too, you've already had a ton of practice running around after Spike, and that's nearly the same thing," he said, and she laughed softly and nodded.

"You two doing some private family planning or can anyone join in?" Moodstone asked, dropping into a seat next to them and smiling at them both, then the others all began to filter in from all around.

"Good to see you all in one piece, laddie, so, what did you find find out?" Tank asked, pulling up another chair.

"That I have a pathological aversion to monkeys," Reaper said, and they all looked at one another in confusion, which made Reaper laugh.

"Alright, get everyone together, that's all of us and the civvy cops too, they're going to want to hear this as well," Reaper said.

So they gathered everyone together from both the military units and the civilian police and they all sat around a huge round table that they'd found with Aiden at its head, though most people weren't looking at him, they were looking at the white scaled Draconis officer called Shey, who was sat a seat or two down from Picasso and seemed to be glaring at Zachee, who was sat smugly and happily at his side.

Aiden outlined what they'd found in that lab, they had a coup of the intel on them and, using Spike's skills, they brought it up for everyone to see, there was an instant feeling of rage among the people gathered, that this had been done right under their noses and under their city, he brought up the faces of those responsible and Spike began, with Mark's help, to run the faces through the active CCTV network using his facial recognition software, given that the CCTV system was on a city wide network it had been easy for the pair to breeze into it like they were going shopping, and in minutes, the pair found a series of screen captures that tracked the trio across the city and a small ship leaving the surface only moments later.

"Well, that confirms it, the agents are off world and we now have a description of the shuttle as well as a time of departure," Spike said.

"Send me the details, I will pass them to the Guardian Core, we will begin the hunt," T'Sall said.

"Same for the Halkrath!" T"Kell said.

"And Section 5" Paul said.

Aiden held up a hand, "Don't worry guys, copies have already been sent to everyone by our Queen Bee, I'll make sure that this goes too, we're all in on this, Spirits, Halkrath, Section 5, Guardian Core, we're all in this together, and once we get off this world I can promise you we are all going to hunt these cunts to the far side of the universe if that's what it takes, and when we find them we will bring a special forces shit storm down on their heads the likes of which they couldn't foresee in their wildest nightmares!" he said with a dark passion that made many smile.

"I like this man! I see why you claim him sister," T'Kell said, grinning.

"Me too, I'd say he'd make a damn fine Guardian Hunter" T'Sall said, and Aiden chuckled.

"Sorry guys, but there's a reason they say no Spirit ever quits," he said with a smile.

"So, what's the immediate plan?" Moodstone asked.

"For the time being, shore up this place and make sure it's bomb proof, we're going to need to hold it until we can safely extract, so I want it undead and soon to be dead proof, Spike was telling me about the stronghold that these gang bang wanna be's are in, and Officer Xia and Mark were telling me that they're holding civilian hostages and slaves in there, so that's part one, that's not happening on my watch, so we're hitting that place, at the same time a second, smaller team will hit the hub so that we can get access to the anti-air net and shut it down, but we're not moving till this place is as hard as it possibly can be to crack, so I want a full tally of every civilian and their skills, any who have talents in things like metal work and black smithing I want them rigging up makeshift forges, I want everything from bracing bars to pikes, anything that makes movement harder, medical personal will report to Ice and Zachee, do a weapons count and see what we got, firearms wise, get the blacksmiths working on melee weapons, won't be too great against firearm toting gang bangers, but should do just fine against the undead, so everyone get working and try to rest up as well, I don't want anyone burning out, so grab yourself some space and grab a rest, we're going to need it, we got a lot of work to do and not a lot of time to do it in, so let's get to it," he said, and the group broke up, each filtering off to do their own thing.

"Did you get any samples of the raw virus?" Zachee asked, and Aiden shook his head.

"They took them all, but we got the paper work and test results, as well as all the digital data regarding it," he said, and she nodded.

"That will have to do, I'll see what I can do with it," she said, and Aiden nodded.

"Ice has a copy already," he said, and she nodded and, as she did, he saw her glancing at Picasso who was talking to Spike and he smiled.

"So, did he finally say it, doc?" he asked, and her eyes snapped to him so fast that her whole head seemed to shake and she smiled shyly and nodded.

"Good man, bout time, thought I was going to have to lock you both in a cupboard," he said, and she looked at him questioningly.

"Lock us in a cupboard?" she asked, and he laughed softly.

"Don't worry, it's a human thing," he said.

"You humans are a strange bunch," she said, and he laughed and nodded.

"Yeah, no arguments here, but that's why you love one of us, right?" he said, and now she laughed and nodded.

"Yeah, he makes me smile and laugh, and right now, in this place its made me realise that that is worth more than all the money in the world," she said.

"And the fact that he looks like a super model doesn't hurt either right?" Aiden said teasingly, and she flushed and nodded.

"No, it doesn't hurt," she said, and Aiden gently reached forwards and patted her on the shoulder.

"Don't worry doc, I'm only teasing you, he's a good man, our Picasso, just be gentle with him, ok? He might look strong, but in so many ways he's rather fragile, don't break his heart, ok?" Aiden said softly, and she nodded.

"I won't, I swear it," she said.

"Good girl, look after that man, he's worth every second of your time," he said softly, and she nodded, then, without saying another word, she walked over to Picasso and embraced him for everyone to see, the look on Picasso's face was first one of surprise, which swiftly melted into joy and he returned the embrace, "Good girl," Aiden said softly.

Aiden took a swift tour of the facility, and everywhere he went, civilians were welcoming him like a returning king, coming up just so they could shake his hand, he also saw it happening to both T'Shara and Macha as well, Whisper had managed to evade it by pulling one of her customary vanishing acts, though, it also looked like T'Sall had vanished as well, and that made him smile, "Looks like those two aren't wasting any time," he said with a soft chuckle to himself, though, by the way T'Kell was orbiting Spike and Mark as they did their world of nerd thing, he didn't have long left before he wound up over her shoulder either, "Fight hard, play harder," he said with a soft chuckle to himself as he shook his head.

000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

Whisper was sat on top of a stack of containers that looked over the walls of the compound and out over the city, "Penny for your thoughts," a familiar voice said from behind her, and she turned to find T'Sall standing there, and she couldn't help but be surprised that he found her so easily.

"How did you..." she began, till he reached down and lifted her chin and pulled her into a gentle kiss that literally took her breath away, before T'Sall she hadn't ever kissed a Yautja before, and nor had she wanted to, but kissing him made her heart pound and her senses melt to mush.

When they parted she patted the ground next to her and no sooner had he joined her she shifted herself into his lap, which was something she's always wanted to do, she had never before in her life sat on a man's lap, but something about T'Sall told her that not only would he welcome it but would encourage it, he wrapped his arms around her and held her tightly, her whole soul suddenly felt like it was wrapped in warm loving silk.

Without saying a word, the pair just clung together and, in the distance, the sun began to set and they both watched as the sun cast a warm, rosy glow over the silent city and Whisper leaned her head into the crook of his neck and shoulder, he reached up and very gently began stroking her fur and scratching behind her ear, it took all her effort not to break out into a off the cuff purr, she failed and her body betrayed her as she began to purr softly.

"I have never heard something so beautiful in all my life," T'Sall whispered gently in her ear as he stroked the side of her face with his mandibles, this boosted her confidence no end and now she gave up trying to rein it in and just let herself purr in his arms.

"I'm not good at this stuff, T'Sall, as I get embarrassed real easily, but I do know this, I love you, and I want to be yours so badly," she said softly, and he turned her face to his and she found her breath catching in her chest as she found herself gazing right into his incredible eyes.

"You don't need to be good at it, Whisper, there's no real manual, love is just love, and each and every love is different, all we have to do is be true to each other and it will work, you never need to be afraid to be yourself around me, remember, I've seen your mind and your heart, and you've stolen mine," he said softly.

Whisper's heart felt like it was going to burst, never in her life had she met one like him, and she had never in her life thought that it would be so easy to fall in love with someone, or so quick, "Have you claimed a room yet?" she asked softly, and he shook his head.

"You?" he asked, and she nodded and pointed below her.

"We're sitting on it," she said, and he laughed softly.

"You like it up high, don't you?" he said, and she gave him a bright smile and nodded.

"Better sight lines," she said, and he nodded and then she lifted herself up off him and helped him to his feet and then pulled him along by the hand.

"Where are we going?" he asked, and she gave him a very hopeful smile.

"My bed...together," she said softly, and she saw T'Sall's face crack into a shy but happy smile.

"Oh" he said shyly and she led him down, she had wanted to wait, but in this world, waiting could lead to regrets, and she didn't want to regret a single second with this man, ever.

"if you're feeling rushed we can wait..." she said, just to be sure that he was comfortable, and he shook his head.

"if you are ready my little sweet tail then so am I," he said, and she nodded.

"Good, because I have waited my entire life for you to enter it, and I really don't want to wait another minute, if this world is going to kill us then I want to die smiling with no regrets, knowing that I gave my all to life and to my man," she said, and his face broke into a huge smile and he nodded before letting her lead him by the hand, right into her makeshift bedroom.
