The Path to the Pokémon League
With two Pokémon Badges, our heroes march onto the path…
Ash stops walking and turns around to look at his friends. "Where are we going anyway?" Ash asked, putting his right hand behind his head.
Misty walks up to him. "How many times do I have to tell you?" Misty asked. "Vermillion City. Its got some great stores that I'm dying to see."
Jovan crossed his arms. "I don't think we'll have time to see it." Jovan said.
"I hear there's a really great Gym in Vermillion City." Brock said.
"A Gym?" Ash asked, smiling.
"The five of us are going to win our third Badge." Jovan grinned.
"Let's go!" Ash said, excitedly as he turns around and started running ahead.
"Don't get your hopes up." Misty called. "There's a lot of tough trainers around here."
Ash looks over his shoulder. "Bring it on. I bet one of them doesn't have a Pokémon Badge." Ash said.
Pidgeotto flew down to its target.
"Pidgeotto, finish it!" Ash commanded.
Rattata landed on its stomach.
"Rattata!" the trainer shouted.
"And I win!" Ash cheered. "That's number ten!"
Ash and the trainer shook hands.
"You're a really good Pokémon Trainer." The trainer said.
"Well I guess I was pretty good there." Ash said, as he showed him the Badges pinned on the inside his jacket.
"Wow." The trainer said amazed. "You've got Badges."
"Oh, you mean these?" Ash asked.
"You got two." The trainer said.
"I think giving those Badges were a mistake." Misty said to Brock.
"Uh huh." Brock agreed.
"Pika Pika." Pikachu said, who was sitting down on Ash's backpack.
"I bet that you can beat A.J." The trainer said.
"A.J.?" Ash repeated.
"Yeah." The trainer said. He turns around and pointed. "He lives over there. A.J. trains savage Pokémon and he built his own Gym. " The trainer looks at Ash. "He never lost a single match."
"Until now." Ash smirked wagging his finger. "He hasn't come up to somebody like me."
"He's getting a big head." Misty said.
"Yeah, but his brain is still the same size." Brock said.
"Pika." Pikachu nodded.
They come across the Gym. There was a board sign above them.
A.J.'s Gym
Undefeated!
Note Gym Not Sanctioned by the Pokémon League
"This Gym isn't even approved by the Pokémon League." Jovan said.
"Undefeated, big deal." Ash said. "We can beat him."
"98 wins in a row." Misty read. Misty looks at Ash. "You've only won ten battles and he only won ten time more matches than all of you."
"We go for quality, thank you very much." Seth said.
"Are you my next victim?" a voice asked.
They all turn their heads to the left and sees a boy walking towards them then stops. The boy was wearing a black red stripe t-shirt, blue shorts, red shoes and carrying a blue backpack. His hair was green and his eyes were black.
"You must be A.J." Jovan said.
"That's my job." A.J. said. "But beating punks like you is my hobby. Ready to lose?"
The gates open and they all went inside. Standing between them and the tent was a small battlefield.
"Wow." Ash said.
"Not too shabby at all." Misty said.
A.J. puts down his backpack and a Butterfree appeared and took the backpack.
"What's in the backpack?" Slade asked.
A.J. turns around to look at them. "It's the wild Pokémon I caught." A.J. said. "There's a whole bunch more in the back too."
"Can we see them after the match?" July asked.
"If you want." A.J. said, stepping onto the battlefield. He turns to face them. "So which one of you will challenge me?" A.J. asked.
"I will." Ash said.
"What Pokémon will you use for my 99th win?" A.J. asked.
"99th?" Ash repeated.
Both trainers stood on either side of the field.
"I'm afraid you're going to change your sign after this." Ash said. "You'll be formally defeated."
A.J. took out a brown whip and smirked. "You may think that you're hot stuff kid, but you're not playing in the little Pokémon League anymore."
A.J. cracks his whip near Ash's feet.
"Whoa!" Ash shouted.
"After I win a hundred matches in a row, I'll start competing for Badges." A.J. said.
"That means he's only two matches away." Jovan said.
"And he'll be extra cited to win." Slade said.
"Ninety eight wins and you still don't have a Badge." Ash said. "That's tough luck A.J. because I have ten wins and two Pokémon Badges."
"Did you buy those Badges or steal them?" A.J. asked. "Either that or you compete in failure Gyms. Where were they? Failure City or Wimpsville?"
"What do you mean "Loser Gym"?" Misty asked angrily.
"Hey Ash, pulverize this guy." Brock called.
Ash chuckled nervously.
"Let's get started then." A.J. said. "Sandshrew go!" A.J threw a Pokéball and Sandshrew appeared .
"A Sandshrew, huh?" Ash grinned. "This should be interesting."
"Be careful." Slade warned him.
"Sandshrew is a Ground Type so Pikachu's electricity is no good against it." Anna said.
"I know what I'm doing." Ash said. "Pidgeotto, I choose you!" Ash threw a Pokéball and Pidgeotto appeared.
"Sandshrew, go!" A.J. shouted.
"Pidgeotto, dive at it!" Ash commanded.
Pidgeotto begins to dive down at Sandshrew.
"Ash is lucky." Seth said. "The flying Pokémon should have the advantage."
Sandshrew curves itself into a ball.
"Too bad Sandshrew can't fly." Ash taunted.
Sandshrew threw itself into the air hitting Pidgeotto.
"Huh?!" Ash shouted.
Pidgeotto fell down on the ground.
"Pidgeotto!" Ash yelled.
Sandshrew landed in front of Pidgeotto.
"Finish it!" A.J. shouted.
"Uh oh. Pidgeotto, return!" Ash yelled.
Pidgeotto transforms into red energy and went back inside the Pokéball.
"Butterfree, I choose you!" Ash threw a Pokéball and Butterfree appeared.
"You can do it!" Ash encourages Butterfree. "Flying vs. Ground should be no problem!"
"That's what you think, kid. So watch and weep!" A.J. smirked.
"Go, Stun Spore!" Ash commanded.
Butterfree releases an orange mist coming out of his wings. But Sandshrew dove underground, avoiding the attack.
"That Sandshrew is trained." Brock said.
"He controls it with the crack of his whip like a lion tamer." Misty said.
Sandshrew jumps out from underground and pins Butterfree to the ground.
"Butterfree." Ash said.
"It's not so free anymore." A.J. said.
Ash turns around and grabs Pikachu but Pikachu was hanging onto the edge.
"Come on, Pikachu." Ash grunted, pulling Pikachu's tail. Everyone sweatdrop and backed away. "You have to help your friend.
"Pika." Pikachu said, zapping Ash.
"Aaahh!" Ash yelled, releasing Pikachu's tail and fell on the ground sideways.
"Nice work." Misty said sarcastically, with her arms cross over her chest.
Hiding in one of the trees, Team Rocket was spying on them.
"That Sandshrew is very temtpting." Jessie said.
"We should grab it." James said.
"Don't be too sure." Sam said.
"It looks fat." Meowth said. "You two carry it."
"The outfit that trainer is wearing absolutely hideous." Libby said.
"That shirt must be a century or two ago." Sam said. "He would fit perfectly in a museum."
"At least's he's not out trick or treating like you do." Justin said.
"I agree." Meowth agreed.
Sam pushes Meowth and Justin off the branch. Meowth landed on his head and Justin landed on his feet.
"And that makes victory ninety nine!" A.J. cheered.
"It's not fair!" Ash whined. "I'm the one with the badges." Ash walks over to A.J. "How about two out of three?"
"Stop whining, kid." A.J. said. "Nobody wants to compete with a crybaby."
"Hey." Ash said angrily. "There's something fishy here. I didn't have any problems winning when I battle in your ring. How could I know that this whole match is rigged?" Ash asked then he realizes it. "That's it. You cheated. How else would Sandshrew beat Butterfree? Flying Pokemon always have the advantage over Ground Pokémon."
"Chill out." A.J. said.
"Why don't we replay the match somewhere else?" Ash asked.
"Ash doesn't know when to quit, does he?" Misty asked.
"That A.J. sure is strong." Brock said.
"How is he so good?" Jovan asked.
"One more chance." Ash begged.
A.J. and Sandshrew walks away. "Come back when you grow up." A.J. said.
"It's not fair." Ash muttered as he watches A.J. and Sandshrew walks inside the tent.
They all went up to Ash.
"Looks like you have to rethink of what you trained." Seth said.
"What do you mean?" Ash asked.
Before Seth could answer, they can hear A.J.s voice from the tent.
"You call that last match a fight?!"
"What?" Jovan asked.
"It's time for some serious training." Cracks of the whip can be heard.
They all went inside and gasp. Inside there was like a circus but with training. A Beedrill was trying to land a hit on the Butterfree as it dodges. Slade can see Sandshrew on top of a diving board. Sandshrew jumps into the water and jumps back out of the water next to A.J.
"Get back into the water!" A.J shouted, cracking his whip.
"Knock it off!" Ash shouted, running towards A.J. Ash tackles him and they both fell in the water.
Everyone ran to the pool.
Ash and A.J. appeared on the water's surface.
"Now you want a swimming match?" A.J. asked irritated.
"You're hurting Sandshrew." Ash said.
"Mind your own business." A.J. said. "I don't any armatures teaching me how to train Pokémon." A.J. said.
""You call that training?" Ash growled.
July notices that Sandshrew was wearing something. "What is that?" July asked.
"It looks like a straight jacket." Jovan said.
"It's not a straight jacket." A.J. said. "That's my strength testifier." A.J. got out of the water.
"Who invented that?" Brock asked.
"I did." A.J. said. "It's my own secret weapon for releasing a Pokémon's powers." A.J. looks at Sandshrew. "Sandshrew, back into the pool!"
Sandshrew nodded and went back up the diving board.
"But Sandrews are weaken by water." Ash said.
"I know that." A.J. said, turning his head to look at Ash.
"You'll hurt it." Ash said.
"Sandshrew, dive!" A.J. commanded.
Sandshrew dives headfirst into the water next to Ash.
"Nice dive." Anna said.
Sandshrew jumps out of the water and landed next to them.
A.J. stands up. "Good work." A.J. said.
"The water doesn't weaken your Sandshrew?" Brock asked confused.
"You're looking at the only Sandshrew in the whole world who can stand up to water." A.J. said. "Sandshrew, pick up your pacing!"
Sandshrew curve itself into a ball and three Rattatas was pushing Sandshrew back and forth.
Ash got out of the pool and made a fist. "Hey, wait. I thought you said "pacing" not passing." Ash said.
Everyone except A.J. fell down.
"Pikachu." Pikachu smiled, holding a purple pillow.
"I said "patting." Ash said, looking at Pikachu. "I mean I said "pacing"! Ash shouted. He looks at A.J. "Why are you so tough on Sandshrew?"
"I have to be tough." A.J. said. "But I ask no more of Sandshrew than I with myself, the very best."
"But you aren't as nearly tough as your other Pokémon." Slade said.
"That's because Sandshrew is the first Pokémon I ever caught." A.J. said. "I will never forget that moment. We promised to do whatever it takes to become a great Pokémon Trainer of all time. Nothing would stop us from reaching our dream. No matter how difficult our path. Enduring fierce storms and raging winds. We sacrifice everything to achieve our dream." A.J. said, crossing his arms over his chest and his eyes were close. "We're an unbeatable team."
"What you're doing is wrong." Ash said. "A great trainer should make friends with his Pokémon."
A.J. opens his eyes and looks at Ash. "Why should I listen to you?" A.J asked.
"Hey Seth, don't you have anything to say?" Slade asked.
A.J. looks at Brock and Seth.
Seth has his arms crossed. "Brock and I does have something to say."
"Your Pokémon are all in great shape." Brock said, looking at the other Pokémon. "What kind of Pokémon food do you give them?"
"My own recipe." A.J. said. "Come on, I'll show you."
A.J. led them to several cabinets that was located in the back of the training equipment. A.J. opens the doors and revealed them the Pokémon food.
"To get the results I want, I have to carefully monitor the Pokémon diets. Of course the recipe is a secret." A.J. said.
"Yeah of course." Brock said. "I make my own Pokémon food too."
Ash was watching Sandshrew lifting two small dumbbells. Pikachu picked up a smaller one but fell backwards.
Team Rocket was kneeling down behind a bush outside of the tent.
"Insolated gloves." Jessie said.
James took out two pairs of pink gloves. "Check." James said.
"Two big rubber balls." Libby said.
Mewowth and Justin were rolling two big red balls. "Check." Justin said.
"Team Rocket will do whatever it takes." Jessie said.
"To snatch that little Pikachu and Dratini." Sam said.
"Maybe we should go back to our old motto." James said, with his arms crossed. "This one doesn't feel right."
Meowth jumps on top of the red ball. "Hey. How about a theme Meowth song?" Meowth suggested. "And I can even do a little dance solo. Everyone loves music."
"The song is no good." Jessie said.
"Da da le le." Meowth started to sing and walking on the rubber ball.
"Not to mention the dance won't work." Sam added.
"Here's a line we'll like." Libby said looking at Meowth.
"And what's that?" James asked with his arms crossed.
"How about "Choreography kill the cat"?" Libby suggested.
As the bell rang, A.J. looks at his Pokémon. "Ok. You all have a fifteen minuet break." A.J. announced.
Ash and Jovan looks at all the tired Pokémon. Ash turns around to look at A.J. "Hey." Ash called.
"Now what do you want?" A.J. asked.
"Your Pokémon are totally wiped out." Jovan said.
"You better believe it." A.J. said. "In this Gym, we live by the rule "no pain, no gain". By judging your little stuffed Pikachu over there, you don't follow any rule."
Ash made a fist and steps forward. "It's not a stuffed Pikachu, take that back." Ash growled.
A.J. ignored him.
"Hey!" Ash yelled, running towards A.J. "Did you hear me?! Take that back!" Ash tries to punch A.J., who dodge the punch and the two boys fell into the pool.
Brock, Misty, Jovan, July, Anna, Seth and Slade ran to the pool.
"Don't, Ash!" Misty yelled.
"Will you stop fighting?" Jovan asked.
A.J. looks at him. "No." A.J. said. "Even your Dratini is thinner than that."
"That's it!" Jovan shouted angrily, jumping into the pool.
Pikachu was touching the strength testifier until one of the collars snaps onto Pikachu's whole body. Sandshrew laugh as Pikachu's body was like a ball and Sandshrew did the same thing. Dratini sighed.
While everyone wasn't looking a big, red rubber ball rolled quietly passed them.
"I'm getting dizzy." Meowth complained.
"Stop complaining." James said. "Look for Pikachu."
"Roll over there." Jessie said.
They rolled up behind Sandshrew and Pikachu quietly.
"Could it be Pikachu?" Jessie asked.
"Yeah." Meowth said. "All that rolling made me nauseous."
James puts on the rubber gloves and puts Sandshrew in the bag. Jessie and James stands up and ran outside the tent. As they were running, the rubber ball flew off.
Ash, Jovan and A.J. were panting after fighting in the pool.
"Why do you keep bothering around here?" A.J. asked. "There must be other trainers you can bother."
"Yeah right." Ash and Jovan said.
Then the bell rang.
"Time's up." A.J. called to his Pokémon. "Back to work, all of you." As the three boys stands back up, A.J. notices that Sandshrew isn't here.
"Where's Sandshrew?" A.J. wondered. "That's weird." A.J. walks over to Pikachu. "What is your Pikachu doing?"
"Pikachu." Ash gasps. Ash knelt down next to Pikachu and try to undo Pikachu's ball. "It's no use." Ash said.
"Here." A.J said. "Give it to me."
Several seconds pass and A.J. was able to remove the collar off of Pikachu.
"Pikachu." Pikachu said, shaking his head.
"Pikachu." Ash smiled, picking up Pikachu. "You're alright."
"Pikachu, have you seen Sandshrew?" A.J. asked.
"Pika." Pikachu said sadly, shaking his head.
"You've haven't?" A.J. asked sadly. A.J. got up and started calling Sandshrew. "Sandshrew!" A.J. called. "Where are you?!"
Ash got up. "Maybe it ran away." Ash said.
"What are you talking about?" A.J. asked, looking at Ash.
"The way you treat your Pokémon, I'm surprised that they all haven't run away." Ash smirked.
"Sandshrew and I have been together for a long time." A.J. said.
"Yeah, I know." Ash said. "When Sandshrew saw how well Pikachu and I get along, it thought "I deserve better. I'll find a trainer who treats me like Ash, like Pikachu."
"Sandshrew would not break the promise we've made!" A.J. said. "Not after all we've been through before our hundredth victory!" A.J. looks at the rest of Pokémon. "Now move it. Go find Sandshrew."
After running away with the bag, Jessie looks back on the path. "Those clowns will never catch up." Jessie said.
James looks over his shoulder. "I'm exhausted." James said. "You take the bag."
Jessie looks at James. "But a real gentleman always carries the bag."
"Is that so?" James asked angrily stepping up to her. "You know I'm no gentleman."
Sandshrew jumps out of the bag, hitting Jessie and James then hitting Meowth unconscious, making Meowth sinking his teeth into Sandshrew's tail. Sandshrew dug a hole in the ground to go back.
Ash steps forward. "You've all had enough about A.J. in the way he pushes you around, haven't you?" Ash asked. "Well, now you don't have to put it up anymore because now you can come with me. Anyone who's coming with me, raise your hand." Ash said, raising his right hand.
A.J. had his back turned on Ash with his arms crossed over his chest and the Pokémon ignored Ash.
"Just raise your hand." Ash said. "Get'em up there."
Misty put her hands on hips. "Ash is making himself a fool again." Misty said.
"Hhmm." Seth said.
"You see what happens when you start a munity in my Gym?!" A.J. yelled at Ash. "My Pokémon are all loyal."
"So then where's Sandshrew?" Ash asked.
Then Sandshrew came out of the ground, hitting Ash and landing in A.J.'s arms. Jovan watches Ash and Meowth laying on the floor with swirls in their eyes.
"Oh Sandshrew!" A.J. sobbed kneeling down, holding Sandshrew. A.J.'s Pokemon gather around the two of them.
"A.J. and all of his Pokémon are happy now that Sandshrew is back." Misty smiled.
Ash shook his head and got up. He sees that A.J. is happy. "How could they easily pick them over me?" Ash asked.
"A.J. is tough you see." Seth said. "He cares deeply for his Pokémon."
Ash looks back at A.J. "Wow." Ash said.
"A.J. really does care for his Pokémon." Jovan said.
POP!
They all turned their attention to see Justin lying on the floor while pieces of the red rubber ball were all over the floor. Jovan, July and Anna walks over to Justin.
"What's Justin doing here?" Ann wondered.
Pikachu was tugging on Meowth's golden coin. "Pika Pichu." Pikachu said.
"What is it?" Ash asked, turning around to look at Pikachu and he notices Meowth laying on the floor. "Meowth?!"
"So it must be Team Rocket who kidnap Sandshrew." Slade said.
Ash picks up Meowth by the tail. "Wake up." Ash said.
Meowth opens his eyes and scratches Ash's face.
"Yow!" Ash yelled in pain.
Justin opens his eyes and see's Jovan, July and Anna looking down at him. Meowth landed several feet away from them and Justin ran to Meowth's side.
"Where am I?" Meowth asked, looking around.
"What's going here?" Justin asked confused.
All the trainers and Pokemon all stared at Meowth and Justin.
"How are we going to get out of this mess?" Justin asks Meowth.
"Prepare for trouble." A voice said.
"Make that double." Another voice said.
Justin and Meowth looks behind them and smiled. It was Jessie and James standing in the doorway. Sam and Libby landed next to them.
"Team Rocket." Jovan growled.
"Use the old motto." Meowth said.
"To protect the world from devastation."
"To unite all people within our nation."
"To denounce the evils of truth and love. To extend our reach from the stars above."
"Jessie."
"James."
"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light."
"Surrender now or prepare to fight."
"Meowth, that's right!"
Jessie and James began to cry.
"That felt great." Jessie sobbed. "We don't need a theme song."
"It's a classic." James sobbed.
A.J. made fist and looks at Team Rocket. "So these are the creeps who kidnap my Sandshrew?" A.J. asked angrily.
Jessie closed her eyes and wags her finger. "That was an unfortunate mix up." Jessie said.
"We have no interested in your second rate Sandshrew." James said.
"Second rate?" A.J. growled.
"The only Pokémon we want is Pikachu." Libby said.
"You can keep all those other wimps." Sam said, crossing his arms.
"Wimps are they?!" A.J. yelled angrily.
"That's it." Jovan said, taking a step forward but A.J. puts his arm in the way to block him.
"I'll take care of this." A.J. said. "No one insults my Pokémon and gets away with it. Let's step outside."
"Hhmm." Slade said.
A.J. stood on the left side of the field and Team Rocket stood on the other side.
A.J. cracks his whip. "Team Rocket insulted our Gym. We'll answer them with our hundredth win." A.J. said.
"One hundredth win." Jovan repeated.
"That's right." A.J. said, looking over his shoulder. "Sandhrew and I made a vow."
Ash nodded. "Good luck."
"Your small talk will cost you big time." Jessie said, tossing a Pokéball. "Go, Ekans!"
"Your turn, Koffing!" James toss a Pokéball.
"Go!" Libby, Sam and Justin shouted, throwing their Pokéballs.
All five Pokémon appeared on the battlefield.
"Sandshrew, go!" A.J commanded.
Ekans and Koffing attacks, but Sandshrew dodges the attack. Pidgey, Spearow and Weedle attacks but Sandshrew dodges them and collides into each other. Sandrew jumps into the air and tucks his body in as a ball.
"Ekans, Bind it now!" Jessie ordered.
Ekans wraps his tail around Sandshrew and began to bind him. Sandshrew got out free as Ekans was trying to get untangled. He didn't have any time to dodge when Sandrew kicks him with right foot.
"Its so strong." Ash said.
"Good work!" Anna cheered.
"Excellent." Slade said.
"Koffing, Sludge Attack!" James commanded.
Koffing spews dark brown sludge at Sandshrew. Sandshrew quickly tucks it body in and started rotating to deflect the attack.
"Justin, just don't stand there." Sam said angrily.
"Get it!" Justin ordered.
"Don't just stand there Meowth." James said.
Meowth chases Sandshrew as ball while Pidgey tries to attack but misses.
"Stop fooling around!" Libby yelled angrily.
"Just biting my time." Meowth said. Meowth opens his mouth and tries to bite Sandshrew. "Ah!" Meowth yelled. "The moment of tooth!"
A.J. cracks his whip. "Now, finish it!" A.J. ordered. "Fissure strike!"
"Shrew!" Sandshrew shouted going into the air and went back into his form. As Sandshrew dives to the ground, outstretching his right paw, he begins to twirl around.
"Go, Sanshrew!" A.J. shouted. "Drill it into the till it splits!"
Sandshrew's fist connected to the ground. The ground began to crack as Jessie, James, Libby, Justin and Sam avoid falling down. Ash, Brock, Jovan, Seth and Slade watches the ground moving, separating Misty, Anna, July, Pikachu and Dratini.
Meowth climbs out of the ground and ran away with the other Pokémon. "That's it, I forfeit the match!" Meowth shouted, running away.
"Come back here!" Libby shouted.
"Meowth, where are you going?!" James yelled, running after them.
"To write us a theme song!" Meowth yelled.
"Not that again!" Jessie groans.
Everybody watches Team Rocket runs away as A.J. cheered.
"We did it, Sandhrew!" A.J. cheered, while Sandshrew was standing next him. "We finally reach to victory number one hundred!"
Jovan notices there was some tears shedding.
"Today, all our sacrifices and hard work finally paid off." A.J. smiled. He knelt down and Sandshrew and himself hugs each other. "Now we can start winning our badges."
Everyone was standing outside the Gym.
"When I return here, I'm gonna be the number one Pokémon Master." A.J. said.
"Why don't you come along with us?" Slade asked.
"Thanks, but Sandshrew and I have our own path that we must follow." A.J said. He took out his hand. Ash grabs A.J's hand.
"Someday we'll meet at the big Pokémon League Competition." Ash said.
"Ok." A.J. said. "Next time we meet, you better be in shape because I only want to beat expert trainers."
"That's a deal." Ash said as they let go.
"So long." A.J. said, he and Sandshrew turns around and started walking.
"He's tough but pretty cool." Anna said.
"Yeah." Brock said. "Looks like you found another rival."
"A.J." Ash called. "I'm gonna lose next time. I'll train hard to become the greatest Pokémon Master in the world.
Jovan notices that A.J was coming back.
"I have a question for you." A.J. said.
"What is it?" Ash asked.
"How did Jovan manage to catch a Dratini?" A.J. wondered.
Misty and Brock looks at Jovan.
"July and I saved from a bunch of Beedrill." Jovan said.
"That's something you see everyday back on our world." July muttered.
"What was that?" Misty and Brock asked.
"Nothing." July lied.
"I hope to see you guys soon."A.J. said, turning around and started walking.
There are many paths that lead to the Pokémon League as Ash is just beginning his own. What lies on that path is unknown but one thing for sure is that he'll never forget the name of that great Gym again.

Out of curiosity
I think A.J. can be Ash's brother because they have the same face
This chapter took me about a month to get this done, but I'm glad I finished it.
I encourage Pokémon fans to review.
