Tentacool, Tentacruel and Godzilla
"Blue sky." Ash said
"White clouds." Slade said.
"And sea as far as you can see." Misty added.
Ash, Brock and Misty were watching one ship leaving the island while Jovan, Anna, Seth and Slade were leaning against the rail.
We find our heroes stranded on Porta Vista the only town on the island with ferries that go to the mainland. It seems our friends missed the boat. It'll be a long three hours until the next ferrie.
"Chu chu Pikachu Cha." Pikachu said, pointing at the sea.
"Oh look." Misty said. "There's two Horsea, how cute."
Ash sat up and see. In the water is a small ,blue, seahorse-like Pokémon with a single dorsal fin and a tightly curled tail. Its eyes are red and its ridged belly and dorsal fin are cream-colored. It has a long, tubular mouth and three spike-like projections on either side of its head.
"We'll have Dexter to tell us about it." Ash said as they all took out their Pokédex.
"Horsea, a Dragon Pokémon. This unique Pokémon species lay thousand of eggs each spring and then the male raises them itself."
"It looks like the first Horsea is injured." Brock said.
"Huh?" Ash asked confused, looking up.
Brock was right. The Horsea has a right black eye and several cuts on its body. But the second one wasn't hurt like its friend.
"There's no Pokémon Center around on the island." Misty said. "I'll just catch it."
But the first Horsea shot ink out of its mouth as they all watch. The ink forms together as two jellyfish Pokémon. As for the second one, it uses ink as well and the ink transforms into a dinosaur like creature. The second drawing in the water made sense in Jovan, July, Seth, Anna and Slade.
"Do you think?" Jovan asked.
"It can't be." July answered.
All of a sudden, a ship exploded. The crewmen started jumping out and into the water. They can all see the smoke from where they are.
"We need to act fast!" Misty yelled. "My water Pokémon should help!"
"You better hurry because there's a tsunami coming for the island!" Slade shouted.
He was right. There was a tsunami coming towards the island.
"Jovan and I will take care of the tsunami." July told them. "We'll take care of it."
"Be careful you two." Slade said.
Jovan transforms into the black Dragonite as July jumps in the air and transforms into the dark blue Gyarados and lands in the water. Jovan flew on ahead of his sister. He fires a Hyper Beam at the tsunami. The wave splits in two. July wasted no time, firing a powerful jet of water at the second wave. She turns around to see Misty and others bringing the sailors back to the island. July looks back into the water, wondering what cause tsunami. She dove under water to find the source.
"Gya?" July asked, noticing something underneath the ship. It has a light blue, clear body with two large, transparent, red crystals on each side of its body, and one small one in the middle. It has two small eyes with black pupils and no visible irises near the base of its body. It has two tentacles laced with stinging cells. The tentacles extend from beneath its round, blue lower body, which has a cape-like formation in the back.
"Tenta!" Tentacool alerted its friends after seeing July.
The Tentacool and its friends swam away before July could react. July swam back to the island where Jovan was waiting.
"What did you see underwater?" Anna asks July.
"I saw some Tenatcool underneath the ship." July answered.
"Tentacool?" Jovan wondered, taking out his Pokédex.
"Tentacool, the jellyfish Pokémon. Most of its body is made out of water by 99%."
"Did you find the source that made the tsunami?" Slade asked.
"No." July answered, shaking her head. "Whatever made that tsunami disappeared."
"Pardon me, are you the ones who stop that tsunami?" a voice asked.
Jovan turns around to see a man standing behind him. He was wearing a white lab coat, overall glasses over his black eyes as his short blonde hair was greeted by the wind. He was wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.
"Yes." July answered. "But who are you?"
"My name is Simmons Jones." he introduced himself. "I'm a scientist."
"Nice to meet you." Seth said.
"Thank you for stopping the tsunami." Simmons thanked them. "I've heard the explosion from the lab."
"You have a lab here on the island?" Jovan asked.
"Yes." Simmons replied. "I'll take you over there."
They've all started walking towards the lab. The building was white and was on the edge of the city. Simmons led them all inside the building. There was several people at some desks with their computers. At the end was a big TV monitor.
"This is a busy place." Jovan said, looking at the place.
"I know." Simmons said. "We have some archeologists on the second floor. They think its Godzilla."
"Godzilla?" Anna repeated. "Don't you think that's sound crazy?"
"No it's not." Simmons said. He sat down in chair and brought up some pictures on the computer screen. "Take a look at this."
July sat down next to him and looks at the screen. On the screen was the ocean floor.
"Watch closely." Simmons said.
Nothing happened on the screen. Then July saw something on the screen. There was a huge footprint on the sea floor. She said nothing as the video ended.
"This evidence says it all." Simmons said. "Including the tsunami."
"When did all of this happen?" July asks, looking at him.
"A month ago." Simmons answered.
"If you ask me, we can destroy it!" a booming voice said.
July turns around to see a tall muscular man standing at the front door. He was wearing a green tank top underneath his short sleeve brown jacket, brown pants and black boots. He was wearing a white cowboy hat underneath his blue hair as he took of his black glasses to reveal his jade eyes.
"Phil, we do not need your services." Simmons said as Phil walks up to them.
"Of course you do." Phil said crossing his arms over. "It has always been a hunter's dream to destroy that creature."
"Who do you think you are?" Slade growled.
"The name is Hunter Phil." Phil introduce himself.
"Phil, I have told you many times." Simmons said. "We cannot take a life from an innocent creature. It may be the last of its kind. You can't meddle in science affairs."
"Tch." Phil snickered. "Who cares if its the last? If I take it down, I'll be rich."
"We won't be needing your services, Phil." Simmons said. "I'm going to have to ask you to leave."
"Whatever." Phil said as he walks away.
July didn't like that guy's attitude. What he said about Godzilla really made her blood boil. If Godzilla was the last of its kind, why not leave it alone? Sure, it can cause a lot of damage, but it only does that in order to protect itself from danger, even humans. July does admit that the Zillo Beast from the tv show wants to be left alone.
"I hope he lands in prison." Anna growled.
"I hope so soon." Simmons said.
An hour has passed after they left lab. Dragonair watches Misty picks up the first Horsea and hugs it.
"Didn't the picture it drew look like a Tentacool?" Ash wondered.
"Yeah." Brock answered. "The Tentacool may have something to do with ship."
"Is that true, Horsea?" Misty asked.
"Horsea." the first Horsea answered.
"And what about the second picture that its friend drew?" Ash asked. "What was that?"
"It may be Godzilla." July answered.
"You hear that?" Jovan asked.
They all look above their heads and sees three helicopters in the air.
"It's Hunter Phil." Seth snarled.
"They're carrying something in that black bag." Anna said.
"Why are those people running towards this way?" Slade asked.
Dragonair watches her friends get trampled by the crowd. Jovan rubs the back of his head.
"You are so lucky." Jovan grumble.
"Hurry Jovan." Seth said. "Ash and the others went on ahead."
As they made their way through the crowd, there was a large green tank with a rose on the left side of the tank.
"Who's the old lady in the tank?" Jovan asks Misty.
"Nastina." Misty growled.
"Who threw that rose?!" Nastina snarled.
She looks to her left to see a white ship.
"Prepare for trouble!"
"Make it double!"
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite all people within our nation!"
"To denounce the evil of truth and love!"
"To extend our reach to the stars above!"
"Jessie!"
"James!"
"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!"
"Surrender now or prepare to fight!"
"Meowth dat's right!"
"They've got spunk." Nastina gasps amazed.
"That's not even spunk." Jovan said.
"You got that right." July said.
Sam and Libby walks up to the front of the boat. "You can just leave the Tentacool extermination to Team Rocket." Libby said.
"And who are you other three?" Nastina asked.
"We're from Team Neo." Libby explains. "Team Neo is here to take out those stone pillars in the ocean."
July looks over her should and gasps. There were stone pillars sticking out of the water. The stone pillars were big as a building.
"That's the first I've heard of stone pillars in the ocean." Nastina said. "I'll give you both one million dollars."
"Deal." Sam said.
"Make sure you get the dough ready when we get back." Meowth said.
James starts up the engine and the ship sped away. July hasn't said anything after they left. Whatever Phil is planning isn't good.
"July, are you ok?" Jovan asks her sister.
"I'm just worried what would happen if there is a Godzilla." July said.
"I don't even want to think about it." Anna said.
"But we all know its fake." Slade said.
"But what if it's real?" July wondered.
July was right. If its real, then the city will be destroyed. They haven't said anything. July continues to stare at the sea until there were small flashing red lights far in the ocean.
"What's going out there?" Slade asked.
"It's Tentacool!" Misty gasps.
The ship exploded, sending Team Rocket and Team Neo flying. A brown barrel landed on the Tentacool that fired the ship. The barrel made contact with the Tentacool and there was a huge flash of white light. The light disappeared as a giant Pokémon. It has two large, red crystal spheres encrusted in its upper body that can refract sunlight and store energy. The round lower body, from which the eyes are visible, appears black. It can extend up to 80 tentacles out of its body and has two blue beak-like appendages.
"Tentacruel!" its voice boomed.
"Whoa!" Jovan gasps.
"We supersized it!" Jessie yelled.
Jessie, James, Meowth, Sam, Libby and Justin were wrapped by the Tentacrule.
Everyone stared in shock and they all started running for higher ground.
"This is impossible!" Brock gasps. "Tentacruel should only be seven feet tall!"
Everyone took out their Pokédex.
"Tentacruel, the jellyfish Pokémon, an evolved form of Tentacool. The numerous tentacles serves as a powerful weapon. It is known as the gangster of the sea."
"I think that's the gang leader." Jovan said in shocked.
"You think?" Anna asked annoyed.
"Commence fire!' Nastina ordered.
One of her servants fires a rocket at Tentacruel, who was destroying the resort. The rocket bounces off Tenatcruel and lands in the water. Tentacruel took notice of Nastina.
"Stop destroying my hotel!" she yelled. The next thing she knows, all of the Tentacool started swarming passed her. Her servants were overrun and the city is now invaded.
"We need to save Tentacruel!" Misty yelled, worried about Tentacruel.
Ash was holding her hand. "There's going to be a tidal wave!" Ash exclaims.
Everyone ran for their lives as the tidal wave came to the city with Tentacool and Tentacruel. Jovan, Anna, Seth and Slade jumps on July's back as she quickly transforms into the dark blue Gyarados. Dragonair flew in the air, watching her friends riding the wave through the city. July did her best to avoid the buildings that still have people in there. The wave stops as they all got to the nearest building.
"Everyone alright?" July asked.
"I'm fine." Jovan said.
"Doing great." Seth said.
"Horsea!"
July looks up and sees the second Horsea falling towards them.
"Pidgeotto, grab Horsea!" Jovan shouted, throwing the Pokéball in the air and Pidgeotto appeared.
Pidgeotto flew in the air and caught Horsea, bringing it to July.
"Horsea, are you alright?" July asked.
"Sea..." the second Horsea muttered, shaking.
Why was it shaking, afraid? Could it be that its scared of the Tentacruel or was there something else?
"Guys, look!" Slade shouted, pointing out to the sea.
The stone pillars began to move towards the city as giant monster broke through the surface of the sea.
"ROAR!" the giant monster roared. The giant monster was tall as a building.
"It's..." Jovan was trying to say.
"It's..." Slade was trying to say.
"It's Godzilla!" all of them yelled.
How was this possible? How is Godzilla here? They couldn't believe its real.
"I think things just got a whole lot worse!" Jovan yelled in shocked.
"Nair!" Dragonair shouted, shaking her body. Dragonair was completely shock at the monster.
High above in the sky, Phil chuckled at the sight of Godzilla. He wanted to wait for it to appear and now it has.
"Sir, should we drop the bomb now?" the pilot asked.
"That won't be necessary." Phil said, looking outside the window. "Let those two battle against each other. When the moment is right, we'll drop the bomb on Godzilla when it runs out of energy to fight."
"Yes sir!" the pilot saluted him.
Down below the ruined city, Tentacool continues destroy buildings as their leader destroyed a nearby building.
"We have to calm it down somehow." July said.
"Are you serious?!" Slade asked with a shocked look on his face. He turns his head to the right to look at her.
"There's got to be away." Jovan growled.
"Check it out!" Seth pointed at Tentacrule.
Wrapped by the Tentacrule was Meowth.
"Ah!" Slade gasps.
A Tentacool appears behind Meowth's head and put its tentacles on top of Meowth's head.
"We are Tentacool and Tentacrule." Meowth said possessed. "Humans have destroyed our home and we will have our revenge before we face off that terrifying monster."
Five Tentacool destroyed a small part of a nearby building.
"Does it mean Godzilla?" Anna wondered.
"We will destroy you first, that monster, your home and the world." Tentacrule said. "If this monster hasn't awoken two days ago, we would not have to worry about it ever since a mine has been set off."
"So Godzilla was asleep this whole time then." Jovan said, turning around to look at Seth.
July looks down at the second Horsea. "You were trying to tell us about Godzilla?" July asked, looking down at it.
"Sea sea." the second Horsea answered.
They heard a crashing sound and looks up. Everyone in the tower ran for cover from the breaking of shattered glass from a tentacle from Tentacruel.
"Any idea of how we should calm down Godzilla?" Jovan wondered.
"Dragonair." Dragonair said, slithering in front of her master.
"You're going to battle it?" Jovan asked.
"Nair." Dragonair nodded.
"Then let's do it!" Jovan yelled. "I choose everyone!" He threw his Pokéballs in the air as Pidgeotto, Bulb, Charmander, Aqua and Arcanine appeared.
Anna, Seth and July all followed his lead as their Pokémon appeared. Jovan transforms into the black Dragonite, Anna transforms into the Blue-eyed Nintails, July transforms into the dark blue Gyarados as Seth transforms into the darker purple Nidoking.
"Good luck you guys!" Slade called them as half of them lands on the ground, jumps into the water and flies through the air.
"GRROOARR!" Godzilla bellowed, seeing its attackers.
Seth aims at one of Godzilla's feet and use Take Down. Chan and Lee were using Mega Punch and Mega Kick back to back on the other foot. Godzilla uses its tail to splash a giant wave. Doduo used Double Team to avoid the wave as Seel counter the wave with Surf. Jovan's Pidgeotto led the other Pidgeotto with Charmander on their back.
"Char!" Charmander yelled, releasing a Flamethrower at Godzilla in the chest.
Jovan used Hyper Beam to attack Godzilla's face as July blast a powerful jet of water with her brother's attack.
"RRROAR!" the monster roared.
It spun around so fast, everyone was sent flying in different directions. Things weren't looking good. Slade couldn't help but watch as his friends got injured. The second Horsea swam up July, knocked out in the water. Her brother was laying on a pile of rubble with Anna and Seth.
"Sea Horsea!" the second Horsea cried, hoping July was alright.
July shook her head as she raised her head. "Gya?" July asked confused, looking around.
"Horsea!" the second Horsea cheered, seeing July alright.
"Gya Dos." July said to the second Horsea, telling her that she is alright. July turns and growled at her foe. As she growled at Godzilla, a thought occurred in her mind. If it was awake by a mine two days ago, maybe there's a chance to calm it down?
Phil was enjoying the show so far. "Just a little bit more and this will be all over soon enough." Phil thought.
Knowing it's the only way, July transforms back into her human form. She swam up to a building that was leaning over the water. July made it to the edge and took a deep breath.
"Enough is enough, Godzilla!" July called out to the beast.
Godzilla looks down at the source of the voice and sees July. "GROAR?" the monster looks at her with anger in its eyes.
Jovan transforms back into a human as he started to move. He opens his eyes and sat up, wondering what happen. Then Jovan notices July on the building in front of Gozdilla.
"July!" Jovan yelled.
He tried to get to his sister but Anna had her arms around him, pulling him to stay back.
"We didn't know that you were sleeping peacefully, Godzilla!" July called, looking up the monster. "We humans and Pokémon promise not to disturb you!"
Godzilla looks around itself. Half of the city was destroyed. People scared, hiding from the terrifying monster. It turns around, seeing the scared Tentacool and Tentacruel. Godzilla looks back at July and roars in agreement.
"Thank you." July thanked it.
"Drop the bomb!" Phil ordered.
The bag open, revealing a huge black metal sphere. The three helicopters let go of the bomb and the bomb fell through the air.
"Watch out!" July shouted.
Godzilla turns it head to the sky to see the bomb falling towards it.
"You're finished!" Phil shouted.
Then something unexpected happen. Godzilla swung its tail at the black bomb, sending it back to three helicopters. The three helicopter exploded as Phill and the pilots were sent flying into the sky along with Nastina.
"Some people will never change." Seth said.
July watches as both Godzilla and Tentacruel heads back to sea and went their separate ways. Godzilla takes one last look at the city and let's out a powerful roar before it sank back into the sea to find a new place.
Meanwhile, Phil and the three pilots were arrested and placed into prison. It was late in the afternoon as everyone got onto the ship.
"So, Misty, you still think Tentacruel is cute?" Ash asked.
Ash, Brock, Pikachu and Misty were leaning on the rail staring at a beautiful sunset. As for their other friends, they were at the front of the ship.
"Who knew Godzilla was real." Jovan said.
July was standing next to him as Anna was standing on the other side with Dragonair. Seth and Slade both stood behind them.
"Or it happen to listen to me." July said.
"I know." Anna agreed.
"And on the bright side, you got a new Pokémon." Slade added.
July turns around and nodded. "Come on out, Seabiscuit!" July yelled. She threw a Pokéball in the air and Seabiscuit appeared and lands in July's arms. "Welcome to the team!" July did a pose with a thumbs up.
"At least the beast will sleep in peace." Seth said.
"Like that time when Jovan was getting chased by a wolf?" Anna chuckled.
"It startled me." Jovan said.
"You provoke it." Seth said.
Seabiscuit jumps out of July's arms and landed next to Dragonair. The two Pokémon stares into the sunset.
The ocean has become peaceful one more leaving Porta Vista behind as they traveled to their next Pokémon Gym and their next Pokémon
No one notice a rope attach to the ferry with Team Rocket in a barrel floating with Team Neo who was right behind them.
"We'll get them next time." they all groaned.
