Okay, I was up really late last night, and I came up with this. It reminded me most of Ann from A Great And Terrible Beauty, so I decided to post it. This is the first time I've ever wrote anything remotely like a poem, so it's not the best.

Oh, for anyone who reads my other story Sunset, I had to bring my computer to get repaired, so I'm on my parents, and I can't go on it much. I could post this because it's short, and easy to type quick. So it'll be about three or four days before I post on Sunset, or start on my Hawksong fic, Cobra's eyes. I also have a Oneshot for Twilight that I'm writing, but since I have to write everything on paper, it takes a while. But it, like Sunset and Cobra's Eyes, will be up sometime next week.

I don't think I actually have to write a disclaimer for this, since it's a poem that doesn't use any names, and could be used for anything. But, to be safe from the scary lawyers, I'll post it anyway.

DISCLAIMER: I do not own A Great and Terrible Beauty, or any of it's characters. But, I do own this poem. So if you don't get my permission before you use it, I will get a scary lawyer to come kick your butt. Capiche?

P.S. I would really like it if you review. It would tell me my poetry isn't so absolutely horrible. So please, I beg of you, review. Or I can post the cheer from Sunset. You wouldn't want that, would you?

By herself, all day long

People all around, talking to her, teasing her

But she's all alone, no one to talk to

She lives her life, quiet, alone

She reads stories, about princesses, princes

She imagines being the princess

But where was her prince?

They all tell her she's nothing

She cries herself to sleep

They all tell her she's worthless

She cuts herself

They all tell her she's ugly

She cuts deeper

They all tell her she doesn't belong

Deeper and deeper she cuts

She reads stories, about heroines in need

The prince there to rescue them

They all ignore her, leave her by herself

She cuts too deep

Slowly, painfully, she fades

Still waiting for her prince

He never comes

Now she lays, six feet under

Still waiting

But he never comes...
